Excellent food and excellent service. Very friendly. Place is cute and it felt like an elaborated and sophisticated typical Spanish tapas bar. Amazing wine selection and I especially loved the info given by the website of which food goes well with thick wine. Very nice service. Steak tartar and pastrami sandwich were delicious! And the cheesecake was to die for!

One of my favorite places in town to go for a work dinner/meeting or with friends on the weekends! This place has a great and easy going vibe + a selection of creative and delicious dishes! My perfect combo. Nacho and his team make you feel at home right away - They are professional and always friendly. If you are a wine lover, here you can have some fun with their extraordinary wine selection. They have over 100 different wines and a lot by the glass too! Don't miss the pastrami sandwich and the octopus taco. Oh yes and their brioche with chocolate gelato :):) Gracias TRAVIESO.

I highly recommend Travieso, both for its food, wine and service. I come here often, and it’s always an amazing experience! I see some comment suggesting that the wines that are served are “whatever is open”. It’s such a bad and incorrect comment, they carry over 40 wines per the glass and have a very modern system for re-sealing the bottles, similar to Coravin, but for professional use. That way, they can keep the wines fresh for weeks if not months, and it gives you, the customer, the option to try a range of different wines, without having a full bottle… very few place (if any) in Valencia, that can serve that many wines per glass, while keeping the wines fresh.. Furthermore the food is amazing, my personal favourite is the tartar! Go try it for yourself, you won’t regret it 😊

Travieso is not just a gem, it’s a diamond. Located in Canovas next to Gran Via and open Tuesday to Saturday from 18.00 it is the ultimate place for wine and some small food. The wines are breathtaking and the short and thoroughly selected menu is ou of this world. The house Rioja both red and white is superb. The Valencian Rose is a home run. Nothing is bad here in terms of wine. Food? Just try the anchois, tartar, pulpo. Oh, and the lomo is one to die for. Have absolutely nothing bad to say. Writing this after 5-6 visits, have double checked all.

It's a super cosy bar with a great variety of wines. The food there is amazing as well. Highly recommend!

An absolute gem of a wine and tapas bar, serving incredible wines by the glass from both the region around Valencia and international wines as well. Delicious classic dishes with a twist, the bones less pork ribs are to die for, amazing! Can’t recommend this place enough, and it happens to be in one of the nicest parts of town as well. Go check it out !

Visited last week while visiting Valencia, came highly recommended. Amazing atmosphere, incredible food and drink. The pastrami sandwhich was delicious. Thank you for a lovely meal
