In the pantheon of life's celebrations and events, few can rival in sheer grandeur and spectacle, one's wedding day. The monumental task of deftly pulling off a wedding ceremony and reception, replete with all of the pomp and circumstance befitting the union of a man and woman, while thoughtfully, incorporating elements, which reflect both the tastes of the participants and perhaps display essential constituents of the romance and love, which led them to this day, all the while, taking into considerable consideration, the comfort and entertainment of those nearest and dearest.
Having chosen September 18th as our wedding day, we set out the prior February and early spring, in search of the idyllic venue to host the biggest day of our lives. We personally visited more than a dozen sites in and around Napa Valley and scoured dozens more on the internet. Northern California, Wine Country is teeming with beautiful venues and chock full of talented chefs and the choice was a difficult one. After careful consideration and review of our exhaustive notes, regarding each venue's strengths of culinary excellence, staff experience and dedication, the seasonal flora expression of each location, vistas, and a lengthy litany of other evaluative measures, we confidently chose Kimmie Husted and her terrific team at Tre Posti Events and Catering in St. Helena, California. Boy, were we pleased with that important decision.
From our first meeting to discuss rough parameters of our wedding, Kimmie set out to not only accommodate every request we made, but immediately eased our stressful take on the planning of our event. At every turn, she and her talented team, provided inspiration via invaluable ideas that would ultimately prove to be extremely, thoughtful and memorable. As is probably the case with most weddings, my wife and I, had many minute details that we wished to be executed on our wedding day. A lesser wedding planner may have dismissed these as inessential or trivial and dismissed them as issues, unworthy of consideration...nothing more than trifles, really. Fortunately, Kimmie never once made us feel that an idea or wish was inconsequential; she was constantly taking notes and was devoid of all flippant expression. We truly can't thank her enough for the exceptional professionalism and utterly profound, sense of thoughtful, consideration, she extended to us, throughout the months long process of putting it all together.
As you've probably deduced our wedding was spectacular and with Kimmie and her crew there, it went off without a hitch. I had prepared very specific, themed table decorations, which Kimmie and staff, expertly applied to the appropriately, designated, tables. From guest arrival, bride and bridesmaid preparation in the property's cottage, ceremony, bridal party photos, passed hor d'oeuvres in the lovely adjacent gardens, exquisite plated dinner, coordination with the band regarding 1st dances etc., to the cake cutting and every other aspect of a flawless wedding day, Kimmie was happily there, to insure everything went smoothly. It truly seemed that she was always nearby, when we needed her, but somehow remained inconspicuous, at the same time. She obviously worked extremely hard to make it look so easy and seamless.
My wife and I have discriminating tastes, regarding, food and all things hospitality and found the culinary offerings and the service standards and all around warm geniality, put forth that day, to be of the highest caliber and look forward to utilizing the abundant offerings of Kimmie and Tre Posti for future celebrations!
