"The Treats Club specialise in doughnuts and marshmallow fluff. We would like to specialise in eating doughnuts and marshmallow fluff. It’s a match made in heaven. If you feel the same, check out their online shop where you’ll find their design-your-own hot doughnut sundae kit, with a biscoff vegan option too." - heidi lauth beasley, rianne shlebak
"Owned and run by Lungi Mhlanga, The Treats Club is a Hackney doughnut shop that’s every sugar head’s dream. It’s the spot for things like doughnuts stuffed with Nutella fudge brownies, salted caramel hot glazed doughnuts, and smores hot chocolates. And lucky for literally everyone, they’re totally vegetarian and halal too. Yes, even the marshmallow fluff. " - heidi lauth beasley, jake missing, rianne shlebak, sinead cranna
"After visiting The Treats Club, a dessert spot in Shoreditch, a klaxon was sounded in our WhatsApp groups with the words: HOT DOUGHNUTS. This small, pink-accented space is basic but it’s worth sitting in to enjoy the doughnuts straight from the kitchen. While the filled doughnuts plucked from a tray are excellent, it’s the fried-to-order, glazed ring ones you should get. The crisp, golden exterior gives way to pillow-soft, warm dough, and the shiny glaze hugs the top. The doughnut itself isn’t sweet, allowing the glaze’s flavours to sing. The pistachio and white chocolate is a standout, balancing savoury nuttiness and sweet chocolate." - heidi lauth beasley, jake missing, rianne shlebak, daisy meager
"No, they cannot deliver to your bed Hangovers aren’t always a surprise occurrence. Sometimes you know you’re going to be hungover and that those ‘few drinks’ are actually going to be a lose-your-wallet-mad-one. For those nights, have a litre bottle of orange juice ready by your bed and rehearse your doughnut order for The Treats Club in Shoreditch. You’ll thank past you for being so decisive as you tuck into these fried-to-order, glazed rings of happiness. The pistachio and white chocolate is a standout if it's on." - heidi lauth beasley, jake missing, sinead cranna
