After distributing to the entire state of Georgia for a couple of years now, Treehorn finally has a taproom to showcase the ciders to the locals right in Marietta. With the lack of reviews here currently, I think more people need to be aware of Treehorn so that it gets more love.
Marietta already has a couple of breweries and one meadery, and with a cidery now in town, there's a nice variety of craft options available. If you're into craft cider, I think Treehorn is a very great option that you need to try if you haven't already. If you're not into cider, or prefer craft beer or spirits, I definitely think this place is still worth a try.
Treehorn has a variety of options available and when we went, there were 7 different ones on tap. They of course have their flagship offerings, which you may have already seen at stores around the area, as well as some seasonal ciders.
If you're into sampling all of the offerings at a new brewery, cidery, etc., Treehorn does have a flight option available for ten bucks. I tried all seven and I really enjoyed all of them. One that I really enjoyed most were the El Treeablo, which is a cider made with a bit of peppers. While it may seem a bit unusual to some, I really do think the mix of sweetness and heat are perfect and go really well together. Another cider I really enjoyed was Origin. If you're into the botanicals of gin, this cider was very reminiscent of that taste and smell.
They have a couple of card games near the bar in case you want to make it a game night with ciders, as well as a couple of big TVs hanging on the wall to watch some games.
Overall, I think Marietta is lucky to have a great place in its city and hope more people come to check it out.
