Treehouse has been the worst experience I’ve had in quite some time.
Yusur (I believe that was the name of the lady at the reception) took us to a seat we didn't like. We asked for another option and were treated in an unfriendly, almost rude way.
Our waiter, Alex, brought the wrong drink. When I said that we had ordered something else, he replied, dryly: "I'll replace it." No apologies, no friendly gestures, nothing.
The replacement drink took quite some time, so that we had finished the bites we ordered when it finally arrived...
Later, another waiter (or perhaps the manager - unfortunately I couldn't see the name) enquired how we were doing. I highlighted the issues, and he said he'll check, but didn't offer anything. When the drink finally arrived it was also almost half full (see picture), nothing like they show it in the menu (see picture).
Finally, the manager came again to enquire about the drink. So I couldn't help telling him I am disappointed that we have received no apologies, no friendly gestures, nothing. So he offered edamame on the house.When they brought the edamame, they almost threw the bowl on our table, and didn't bring an additional bowl to put the skins, so that we had to put them on the table (see picture).
To add insult to injury, they tried to charge the drink that they mistakenly served and took away (see first tax invoice). Luckily I discovered that before paying. When I pointed it out, Alex didn't apologise, turned around and went to correct the error. The final invoice is also attached for comparison.
Everybody can make a mistake, but the Treehouse team made MULTIPLE mistakes and didn't make any effort to make amends.
The place is beautiful, such a pity it is managed so poorly.
