Stop at These 3 North Carolina Wineries | Eater Carolinas

"A sprawling, family-owned farm that’s been in operation for two centuries, this vineyard offers a fresh-air escape with rentable treehouses by the hour or overnight, plus daily wine tastings and tours. The property cultivates six varieties of muscadine grapes across eight acres and supplements offerings with juice from the Yadkin Valley to broaden its lineup; tastings are $8 for a flight of dry and sweet wines. Staff favorites include Liquid Sunshine, a light, crisp dry sauvignon blanc blend; Sunset Hills, the top seller described as sangria-esque and seasonally versatile; and the WinoRita, a made-to-order wine slushy. Snack options are limited but include gourmet Boar’s Head selections and pimento cheeses with dips and crackers; visitors are also welcome to picnic or catch food trucks that often appear on Fridays and Saturdays." - Katie Toussaint

Google
Absolutely love this place!! They hold events every weekend from Latin nigh and soul night to many more. It’s a laid back place to enjoy with friends or family. Food trucks are available on the weekends and you’re welcome to bring your own food if you choose too, but no drinks of any kind are allowed. The fee for events is very low, and the wine membership, you get many other discounts. The membership is free to join and commit to only 3 bottles quarterly, and honestly is not hard to keep at all considering they have really good award winning wines to choose from.

I went for the wine tasting and it was great. Most of the wines were sweet but otherwise the experience was amazing and they give you the cups after the tasting experience. Beautiful place and really sweet people, I’ll definitely come visit again soon.

Went with my girlfriends during Latin night. It was so nice. Music was great, wine was delicious. I will DEFINITELY come back!!!!

Google
Our first time here. We met friends to celebrate their birthdays and had a great time. They have many seating areas that are spaced away from each other. They sell cheese and crackers and other simple snacks, so you have something to eat while enjoying the wine. The wine is delicious and reasonably priced with the highest priced bottle at $20. The staff are friendly and helpful. The vineyard has a pond, a loft/ deck built in a sturdy tree that you can rent for a few hours, and two cozy tree houses that rent nightly with all the comforts of home. A very relaxing environment, just a short drive from Charlotte that will leave you feeling recharged after your stay.

Google
Treehouse Vineyard has the look and feel of a peaceful Southern getaway, but our experience was anything but welcoming. From the moment we arrived, the wine tasting host and staff made it clear they did not care for guests who looked like myself and my group. Despite making up the majority of the guests there, we were deliberately avoided and treated dismissively. Even our two child guests were met with cold stares and unnecessary explanations about prices, as if we didn’t belong or couldn’t afford to be there. Meanwhile, the non-brown patrons were treated warmly and with ease. It was a sad reminder that in 2025, there are still places in the South where subtle (and not-so-subtle) racism lingers. I encourage anyone planning to visit to read the reviews first — I wish we had.

We visited the Treehouse Vineyards on a Saturday afternoon while driving back to Charlotte. Staff were friendly and there was a large assortment of wines, beer, non-alcoholic drinks and snacks. The Treehouse was huge and the views were stunning from the Treehouse and throughout the vineyard. There was plenty of seating with rocking chairs and chairs, even at the top of the Treehouse. They offer live music for a $5 cover charge on the weekend starting at 7:00 pm. Highly recommend!

Google
After an impromptu car trip, we discovered a ‘Soul’ themed night at this massive vineyard. Outside food is welcome (not beverages). You can also bring your own chairs/tables, blankets and I highly recommend bug spray. Or you can reserve a table under a lighted tent. The music is cool and the treehouse is definitely present - a bit intimidating for my first visit but maybe next time. Lovely place to catch the sunset. Parking 🅿️ maybe sticky depending on what’s happening.

Google
This is a diamond in the rough! Beautiful peaceful location with plenty of of outdoor seating to enjoy a glass of wine with breathtaking view! Staff was very friendly and welcoming!

Yelp
Darling... the drive up is questionable but once you step foot on the property you see why it's named that. The tree is massive with steps going up into a beautiful calm hideaway. It was my 1st time and I thought it was endearing. The rocking chairs give it a country vibe. They really capitalized on the space to allow different opportunities. The outside patio is large and from what I can tell always packed for a weekend event. I tried 4 wines and settle on 2 of the sweeter ones. They were good but definitely sweeter than a dinner wine. I rarely get to enjoy sweet ones so I grabbed a few bottles for home. Its definitely a vibe and the tasting experience it's lovely too.

Yelp
This place is real zen. When you drive up it looks like you're somewhere you shouldn't be. The parking is all rocks and building looks small and rustic. Not to mention it sits in a residential neighborhood. But once you get in and onto their back area, it's actually really spacious. They have rocking chairs, lawn chairs, picnic tables and chairs, a stage and of course the treehouse. The treehouse is cool. The stairs is tight meaning only room for one at a time. It's amazingly structured around the tree. The view up top is nice! The tree provides a lot of shade! However seating is limited. The wine is ok. We did the tasting and they were out of 2 of their best wines. I want to say we were able to taste 5 or 6 different wines ranging from white to red, sweet and bruts. We accidentally left our wine glasses. They let you keep them when you book the tasting. They also have tours of the vineyard and other treehouses for overnight stays. They have a photo book you can see of them. They look cool but super outdated.

Yelp
Really enjoyed the wine tasting experience and learning more about the property. Just finished the new treehouse which was fun but had a private event so the property was limited

Yelp
This is the cutest winery. The staff is really nice. I've visited twice. My friends and I used a Groupon for their wine tasting. We tasted the entire menu which was nice. Each of us found something that we liked. We sat on their patio. You can bring your own food and games if you like which I appreciate and they typically have a food truck on the weekends. They had one both times I went which was a Friday and Saturday.

Yelp
We enjoyed our experience and it was a necessary reprieve after a long week. We wanted to get some local muscadine wines for our home cellar and these were so excellent. We were able to taste and sample each one. They have live music from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. and ample seating overlooking a pastural environment and body of water. They are close to downtown Monroe and this spot seems to be very popular with the locals. We purchased three bottles and they were so delicious. They are excellent example of dessert wines and sweeter wines. I love muscadine wines and the best come from North Carolina the original location of the grape!
google avatar

Tristan P.

Yelp
The wine is classic and balanced. Beautiful grounds that has a country southern vibe. Worth the drive if you're coming from outside Monroe.

Ana C.

Yelp
We had such an amazing experience at Treehouse Vineyards! We usually go to vineyards where they hand you a flight and let you taste on your own, which we typically enjoy, but this time was different in the best way. Each wine came with a personal story and background from the person pouring, which made the experience so much more meaningful and memorable. The wine itself was fantastic, and the one-on-one attention made us feel welcome and connected. The atmosphere was not what I expected...it was incredibly romantic, charming, and peaceful. We even got to tour the date night treehouse, which was absolutely magical. I bought a Groupon for Mother's Day and sadly could not use it with my mom and my sister... So we ran out and we went on a random Wednesday. We ended up getting wine to go for my sister-in-law because the wine was so great. I really enjoyed this trip. We'll definitely be back, and since we own an Airbnb in the area, we'll be recommending Treehouse Vineyards to all our guests!

Yelp
Beautiful winery on a lot of land with plenty of seating or can bring your own chair. I went for a special event they had going on, Winestock. Live music all day, free beer and wine samples and food drinks. It was a really great time to be had. The staff was awesome! So friendly and knowledgeable abt the wines. You can bring your own food in, but they have a lot of snacks and drinks you can purchase there if not. This place is great for a girls wkend, couples or even someone like myself who enjoys a solo adventure. Highly recommend.

Yelp
Treehouse Vineyards for the win. Everything my cousin comes from NJ she wants to come here. I completely understand why, because the music is nice and it's a great place to relax and chill. This time we invited one of my close friends as well. He was surprised that they were open so late! The best part is I love 8 minutes away! I'll or should I say we'll be back.

Yelp
This vineyard was such a great find in NC! The grounds are beautiful and the views from the treehouse are breathtaking. My favorite memory from our vineyard visit is the delicious wine slushies. On a hot summer day I can't think of anything more refreshing.
google avatar

Charlene C.

Yelp
Awesome scenery with good wine selection. The slushy was my favorite. You can add any of your favorite Wine to Jazz it up . my favorite was the Treehouse this a must come a see if you're in the area. Groupon has a good deal
google avatar

Yelp
Landed a Groupon deal. We were lucky enough to go on a quiet day. We shared a nice bottle of wine and enjoyed the tree top view. Cute little vineyard

Yelp
Dropped in here as I was staying in the area. Arrived after 12 and did not know they had a wine tasting scheduled. We signed up for it at $12 per person and walked around the property for about 40 mins until it was time. The setting is beautiful and they have many seating areas to relax and take in the scenery. You can rent a treehouse for an hour for $25 but you have to schedule in advance as it gets filled fast. It's a perfect date spot! You can also rent one of the two treehouses on the property for overnight stays. It looks like a lovely venue to have a celebration. They also have a stage for live bands. The wine tasting was great for the price we got a bottle to have later. They have wines made from imported grapes and wines from the property. Great family history, I would definitely return here!
google avatar

Sommer M.

Yelp
Don't bother. Horrible wine. Speed tasting without the true experience of wine appreciation- no real tasting notes and crap wine. Pure time share sales pitch.

Aidan D.

Yelp
This was my first time back in a few years. Overall enjoyed the experience. The band playing did well and the ambience is super chill. Make sure to check their website or social medias for events happening. The wines were good, I'm typically not a sweet wine fanatic but don't mind it every once in a while. The middle aged lady with long blonde hair working the wine bar/cash register was unfriendly. Didn't smile once the whole interaction. Also she told us they stopped serving at 10 pm inside, but actually stopped at 9:30 when we went in? One guy working security at the table to pay the cover charge was interesting also. I haven't been for a wine tasting. Looking through the reviews, I'm not sure if I will. But would like to come back to see more bands, and enjoy the ambience yet again. I would recommend coming by if you're in the area!

Yelp
I came here on a weekend and did there wine tasting event. This was a cool experience with the history of this quaint winery in the city.
google avatar

Tony R.

Yelp
Cool place, great service but they have sweet wines ( scuppernong and muscadine. Grapes. They do have cabins and tree houses for rent. There was a wedding happening on my visit and all looked happy.
google avatar

Nyjah M.

Yelp
I went for a wine tasting which was fun and insightful. The wine selection was varied. I was happy to find a dry white. The service was good, the staff was friendly and helpful. The property itself was beautiful and provided a great backdrop to enjoy a glass of wine.

Sonia S.

Yelp
Love going to Treehouse. Everyone is wonderful and friendly. Wine is great! Would recommend to everyone.
google avatar

Lesley W.

Yelp
The wine tasting was ok. The wine wasn't that great. A lot of it was really, really sweet. We stayed for "Soul Night" which was pretty disorganized. The vibe was nice, the DK was indoors so we couldn't really hear the music. There was ONE food truck - people waited in line for HOURS for food that was apparently cold.

Yelp
Yesterday, I spent my rainy Saturday at the winery for a friend's birthday. I had a chance to enjoy the property last June when it was nice, sunny and hot..... The whether was crappy today but it didn't shower while we were there . I was with a party of about 10. We all had groupons. It's a pretty good deal. Either wine tasting/tour for two, two glasses and 1 bottle of wine or the same deal for 4 with two bottles of wine. Check it out . The tour does not last long . A few minutes in the garage and it's over . I enjoyed the story telling that pairs with the different wines. It really connects the family's passion to their product . I loved that part . We got to try 8 wines and a little of the slushy and when I say a little it's the tiniest bit ever lol. For the most part I felt welcomed. I felt like the one girl had a nasty attitude. She was just very short and didn't seem like she enjoyed being at work... ever. Several people noticed her attitude upon walking in, throughout the visit, providing the wine samples and just general attitude while walking around. After the tasting we moved over to the covered area and ate subs and drank our wine. It was about 10 of us so we had to put a few tables today . It was a good time to just sit, chat, eat and sip on our new wine . We also went down to the vineyard and took some photos. The wet grass was a damper but we made best with what we had . There are dogs and a cat roaming around . The cat was creeping me out... I guess she or he smelled the food we had. Anyways , overall it was a good time . After 5pm there's a band that comes and they charge a cover . They were setting up a little late so we got to hang around a little longer than 5 and left before they asked for a cover .

Yelp
First time visiting this lovely winery and wasn't disappointed at all. Son and daughter-in-law brought hubs and me here for a day out in nice weather. The staff was very friendly and knowledgeable about their wines. We enjoyed sampling and got 3 bottles. Two dry and one sweet. There is a beautiful view. There are three treehouses that maybe reserved. Quite a nice place that I would love to go back to when in the area.

Robert B.

Yelp
CJ's Foodtruck was amazing. The whiting fish plate is enough for two people. The lines to get drinks/wine was a bit slow. But, the servers are personable, so that made up for things. The vibe was chill and got better as the evening wore on. The night I went, there was a DJ playing 80s, 90s music. I will have to go back to check out a live band.
google avatar

She M.

Yelp
This vineyard is good for fun casual wine. I tried a sample of the Cabernet and it was too young for my liking. I opted for the Riesling instead and it was not bad at all. They even put iced bucket to chill the wine if you drink it on-site. I took home the remainder of the bottle and it paired well with a white sauced pasta. I particularly like the rocking chairs setup in their patio where you can relax and sip wine and chat with friends. The staff are very friendly and welcoming. Overall, I find the vineyard appealing. Definitely worth checking out.
google avatar

Tim W.

Yelp
We enjoyed our time here, so much that we came back again the next day. It is a beautiful location. Many places to sit and sip. Very friendly staff. We tasted several wines and enjoyed them all. Already planning a return trip.

Nicole C.

Yelp
Don't bother coming here.. the lady at the front who gives wrist bands was really rude.. lack of communication and they threatened to "call security" when we were unaware of a number limit of people in the tree house. We only had 3 guests over their limit and politely had three guests leave while they continued to threaten to call security. Our friend promised to his Fiance and she was very insensitive about the whole experience.

Yelp
I like this place! Glad its 45 min away cause I would be here all of the time. Came with a group for a wine tasting. It was very informative. I loved the property especially the treehouses and the Library dedicated to the Holy Land. I bought some jam and pickled okra. I also signed up for their wine club. I chose the case of wine split up quarterly. Cant wait til my next 3 bottles!
google avatar

Erica C.

Yelp
Really liked the ambiance. The staff was nice and the tasting was informative. I liked the variety of wine and wine related products available. I look forward to going again to stay in treehouse.
google avatar

Lakisha M.

Yelp
I love this place and it's my first time. My Boo wanted a day date and this was it. We did wine tasting, a mini wine tour and listened to live music. They have 3 tree houses. One is hourly and the other two is overnight. I can't wait to do the overnight. You can purchase their Wines, snacks and wine accessories. Their prices are so low. The vineyard is beautiful and accesible. They let us go up to the date night tree house and it's so cool. Perfect couples date, single time, girlfriends day out. At the wine tasting you get to sample 8 wines and get a complimentary wine glass. Also I see you can get married here as well, have birthday gatherings and other social events. AND it's only 30 minutes from me

Yelp
I just moved to the Charlotte area from a wine region and was very happy to find so many wineries in the area. I heard great things about Treehouse so this was one of the first wineries that I visited when I moved here. The entire experience was disappointing. We made a reservation but arrived a few minutes late due to parking. The parking areas they have are not big enough to accommodate the capacity of the winery. Since we were only a few minutes late I didn't think it would be a big deal but I was wrong. We had to wait for an hour until the next tasting. The wine tasting is done as a large group, not something I am used to. So we we hung out outside while we waited to do the tour that they said would be starting in 15 minutes. We were going to get something to drink while we waited but the line was crazy long. They had one person working and she was super slow. So we just waited in the heat for an extra 10-15 minutes while they started the tour late. The tour was nothing special but it killed the time. Then we did the group tasting and the wine was gross. It was primarily muscadine, which I am not a fan of. Although I dislike it I can usually have a few sips without an issue but this was not drinkable. The other non muscadine wines were not good either. At first I thought maybe I was picky but my friends and the other people at our table all disliked the wine as well. Every single one of us dumped out 90% of the tastings. The only positive thing I have to say about Treehouse is that their property is beautiful and the treehouses looked pretty cool.

Yelp
I 1st visited in 2014 (initially 3-star review) and what a long way this place has come! It took me literally spending the nite here to get the feel of the place. It's a true country vineyard and is meant to provide the casual ambiance of chilling in a country yard (duh)! While the size of the vineyard itself has not changed a whole lot, they have expanded with activities/events. I arrived on a Sat afternoon shortly after opening. There was a fundraising event so it was already super busy, yet the staff remained personable throughout my time there even when it REALLY got crowded. There was live music, tours & vendors. They also now have various crafting events sometimes. I participated in the DIY serving tray class today and had an awesome time. My only dislike is that I had called ahead to register for the class and was asked to provide payment info via phone. I understand that they need to have confirmation of participants prior to class, but It would be better if they could accept $ via PayPal or some online transaction. I did not want to give financial info over phone so I arrived early enough pay upon arrival so that I could to get in on the class. However, this may not always be the case. Another experience that I had this time was staying overnight at the Papa's dream treehouse. It is absolutely adorable. All I can say is while it does have temp ctrl and plumbing, be prepared for a very rustic experience! This is now one of my favorite vineyards. I m excited for future expansions. Don't let the "small size" fool you. I'm not sure how many acres they are using currently for Guests, but I was told they have about 70-something acres in all. There are a few hidden gems here from the tree houses available for rental, horses, pond and even the quiet dog that roams around (he appears to be a sr and is very sweet). I recommend the wine slushies (ask for Sunset Hills).

Millicent S.

Yelp
I attended Soul Night at the vineyard last night. I had a very unpleasant experience with a cashier. My boyfriend and I waited in line for the wine tasting and decided to skip it and just buy a bottle of wine to drink while we enjoyed the rest of the live music since they were set to end in about an hour. We ended up going to another cashier whom I told that we would skip the tasting and just purchase a bottle of Cabernet. She then said that I was telling him what to do and offered him samples of wine despite me placing an order and insisting that I hadn't been speaking to her. When I clarified that I was indeed speaking to her, she ignored me and only went to get our wine when he told her to do what I had already asked. It was awkward, passive aggressive, and dismissive. Treehouse Vineyards is an overall fun experience, but the trash customer service I received last night marred my view of them.

Yelp
This is an awesome winery! It is tucked away in a spot where you could really drive by and miss it! Once you are in the back you really see what makes Treehouse Vineyard such a special place! A nice little pond nestled in a small valley with trees (and tree houses) and grapes! If you are traveling anywhere near Monroe, it is worth it to swing by and check this place out! The wine is great, the staff are phenomenal and make you feel welcomed, you can taste the wine before you buy so ignore the no tasting thing on their website. My wife and I really enjoyed the place and will be coming back

Yelp
Treehouse Vineyards in located in Monroe, North Carolina, one place I never would have thought had a vineyard. However, they have a small vineyard and winery nestled in the Monroe area neighborhood. We arrived shortly after 12:00pm on a Thursday afternoon and decided to take a peak of the property, as well as one of the Treehouse's before the next tasting at 1:00pm. All tasting start at the top of the hour. On a chilly day sitting in a treehouse was such a unique experience. I can imagine how beautiful it would be at night or even in the spring when the vineyards are in full bloom. We ventured inside around 12:45 to take a look at their wines, as well as the other items in the market/store. At promptly 1:00pm the tasting began. The tasting included 4 Viniferous wines and 8 Muscadine wines. Throughout the tasting you learn the history around the name of each of their wines and the background of Treehouse and the owners. It made the tasting very enjoyable. Having never heard of 'Muscadine' I can say I am not a fan. There is nothing wrong with it, just not my taste. Very sweet. 'Date Night' definitely has a great story behind it so that was probably my favorite. However I preferred the 'Just One More Thing' and 'Her Way' Viniferous Wines, more my taste. Overall Treehouse is worth a visit if you are in the area, but keep in mind they focus on Muscadine, which is sweet, so you may be limited to finding something you like.
google avatar

Vianca P.

Yelp
The vineyard and winery were beautiful but the tasting seemed rushed. The sound system wasn't the best so the narrator sounded a little muffled but she went through the six wines very quickly. I know all wineries and tours are not created equal, but I was hoping they would have either prepared suggested pairings or suggested them so we know what foods would bring out the right notes of their wine. Very warm and friendly environment with a good amount of foot traffic- seemed to be a very popular place for a Saturday evening. Maybe the tour would have been a little more detailed but, coming from out of town, we missed those timeframes.
google avatar

Roberto Y.

Yelp
We had a great time. The premises are really nice. Great outdoor area overlooking a pond and the vineyard. This is a family owned business. Everyone was very nice and made us feel welcome. We went on a Saturday night and they had live music (for an extra $3) which support the local band. Great environment to spend an afternoon relaxing and enjoying the wine. The wine is okay. This is a relative new vineyard so there is a lot of room for improvement from a wine perspective. This is a great place to have a good time on any given weekend.
google avatar

Art A.

Yelp
Really enjoyed tasting 8 different local muscadine grape wines and tour of local small but charming winery $12

Yelp
Coming into treehouse is a bit weird but once you get there you will be welcomed by a big tree and maybe even a cat. The service was good but there were two weddings going on and I could tell the employees were a little flustered and were running around but still gave us their attention. There slushees and wine were on the better side from what I had at vineyards. Their outside area is open, beautiful and filled with vines for miles. The tree was closed so I can say much about the treehouse section but we sat in a wooden porch area and drank our delicious wine! There was a super sweet cat, that was one of my favorite parts. Sorry, crazy cat lady! This is a super cute place for a date or to hang out with friends and they don't offer food but just bring a picnic basket with some goodies and spend some time here relaxing and enjoying the scenery!
google avatar

Julie S.

Yelp
Great spot to sip some wine in the suburbs! Highly recommend the wine slushie. Really can't go wrong because you get to pick the wine that goes into it (you pay for the wine separately). I have been here a couple of times, most recently for Disney Trivia, which was a ton of fun. They have plenty of parking, lots of patio seating, a gazebo and nice views of the Vines and flowers. Bring your own picnic, have pizza delivered or whatever floats your boat for sustenance. The staff are all very friendly and the wine is good! They also had a waffle truck there during Trivia and those were also delicious.
google avatar

Katie G.

Yelp
Get the wine slushies!!! Affordable wine tastings as well as non alcoholic grape slushie if you bring your kids. There are also treehouses you can rent either over night or for a couple hours - must be booked in advance! Recommend bringing your own snacks and picking up a slushie DIY kit to bring home!
google avatar

Amanda K.

Yelp
Visited once for a wine tasting and to look at this as a venue option. Was there yesterday for my sons wedding. Listen the venue is gorgeous, the layout is perfect, the ground are amazing BUT the staff here seals the deal. They are accommodating, kind, compassionate, caring.... the whole 9 yards. Every single one of them did everything and above to make the rehearsal dinner and wedding day magical.
google avatar

Kristin D.

Yelp
Treehouse understands the concept of a wine tasting! Informative, story-based and interactive. Of the wine tastings that I have attended, I enjoyed Treehouse the best. The staff have a way of communicating the story of Treehouse with zeal and care. Each wine has a story that is grounded in the history of the business and the maturation of the product. In addition to a great tasting, this location offers tours, an outdoor patio with live music, a gift store and friendly staff. It's worth the short drive from the city to enjoy!
google avatar

Lakisha H.

Yelp
I decided to surprise my husband with something new for date night. I booked the Papa Treehouse for a one night stay. We checked in at 4pm and had a wine tasting with Madison. We tasted 8 of the signature wines made there. They were all amazing. Our favorites were Date Night, Sunset Hills, and Sweet Union. The flavors were amazing. Madison did a wonderful job with our tasting. On to the Treehouse for the night. We drove around the property and arrived in minutes. It was an adorable like treehouse with a kitchenette, porch swing, rocking chairs, grill, bathroom and queen bed. It was an amazing night. No television so we were able to just talk! There are kitchen utensils and cooking utensils in case you cook on the grill. There were board games available. This was simply an amazing night! We will definitely return. The porch gives great opportunity for photo ops too

Michelle S.

Yelp
Went on a nice fall afternoon and had a great time. The treehouse is cute and whether you rented over night or the one for a small happy hour you are sure to have a unique experience. I'm not a huge fan if sweet wines so I didn't enjoy most of the wines they served. However their wine slushy was very good. The tasting and tour were both planned well. The gift shop has tons of great little wine themed items. I will def be back during the summer when they have live music on Sat nights and the wine slushies will be a better fit.

Yelp
We came up to the 80's/90's night. Paid our admission to enjoy a DJ that was set up inside with limit space with two stages on the outside where he could have set up for everyone to enjoy. Had to stand in line for an hour to get something to drink because you are not allowed to bring in water or any outside drinks. Which I understand outside drink but water on a 97 degree evening, I don't. The food truck was not allowed to sell anything to drink. First time impressions are lasting impressions.

Yelp
Customer service stinks. I received a personalized wine glass as a gift a few years back and it broke. My friend purchased it from here and I wanted to purchase another one because it was sentimental to me. I've called and left a message and emailed twice to inquire about placing an order and have never received a call or email back. I even left my contact info when I was there in person as the lady serving us wine said she would give my info to the owner/manager to call me back and they never did (because I saw they still worked with the vendor who personalized them) . Very disappointing. Guess I'll take my business elsewhere.

Yelp
This is another Monroe anomaly. You literally have to drive through the hood in order to get there, but when you get there it is like it has been dropped out of a dream. The property opens up to Rolling Hills full of vines as well as trees that have tree houses in them you can rent the tree houses by the day or the hour, and enjoy the local wines they offer. Their local wine selection is good especially if you enjoy muscadine wines and other local varietals. If you're not a heavy Wine Drinker, you may enjoy the wine slushies which are great in the summer. They also offer a variety of musical entertainment, but be prepared because they often charge a cover fee. It is generally not excessive and if it covers bringing in good entertainment, it shouldn't be a big deal. If you find yourself in the Monroe Area and are looking for something unique and different to do, I would highly recommend Treehouse Vineyards as a place to stop for an hour or two... Or four

Yelp
The $12 1/2 hour tasting was rushed. I did not feel that we were given the opportunity to enjoy each pour. The history was interesting but hey, we were there for the wine.
