I've seen this all the time, everytime I'm at Stanford University. Today, is the day I check-it-out. Today, I'm in the South Bay Area. I felt like going for some more Italian cuisine. Tonight, I'm here at Trellis Restaurant near Palo Alto. When I got here, I happen to actually meet the owner. The owner, asked me what I do for a living? And I kinda laughed. Then the owner goes and ask me again, what I do for a living? And I was like, I'm just in the neighborhood. There's some good people Working here. I was sat down in the Dining Room for awhile, when suddenly they offered to show me the Upstairs on the 2nd floor. So I took it. It's a very beautiful Banquet Room, and a perfect Venue or Event Space to throw a Party or Celebration. I appreciate, and glad they showed me around. And I saw something that really caught my eye on the menu, it's intriguing. I just got to have that Susan's downfall (TM): Cheese & herb Raviolis w/ Gorgonzola Cream Sauce & Toasted Almonds. I can tell the Ravioli was made fresh and In-House. The Pasta was Al dente. The Gorgonzola is so velvety, and Luxurious. I like how they put it under the Broiler for a moment. And the slivers of Almonds, was a nice touch, it makes it stand out. They even showed me how to dip the Bread in the Sauce at the end, that was the move, it was brilliant. It reminds me of the first time I had a Cheese Fondue 23 years ago. They get some points, for originality. I was thinking this was going to be a 3.9-4.3 stars, I was thinking I was going to give this 4.3 stars, I want to give this a 4.4 stars, this could be a 4.4 stars on a good day, but I give this 4.3/4.4 stars out of 5 stars. Bellísimo.
