I love this coffee house the staff was friendly and the artwork was beautiful. The coffee was dark and had a lot of flavor. I also tried the snow ball and was recommended the nectar flavor. It was super delicious and they do not skimp on the syrup. I would definitely recommend other people visit!

Lovely local coffee spot with the best of vibes. The espresso is top shelf and they make a mean cortado. The snowballs are good but the aesthetic is what really ups the review. I could sit inside and hang all day.

TEN STARS! Easily the best latte of my trip. Espresso was so smooth... reminded me of the good lattes I had in Seattle. Said to the hubs, "This is the latte I have been looking for this whole trip."

Tracy was awesome! This was a very relaxed atmosphere with outside seating also. The food was fresh and excellent and everyone was so friendly. When I return to NOLA I will definitely return for Chai with Double shot of Espresso with almond milk and the healthy bagel with the smoked salmon. Thank you!

Treme Coffeehouse is a colorful coffeehouse with an array of snacks and beverages. I decided to visit due their accepting of credit cards for a snoball (rare in New Orleans). The snoball was delicious, and they were very generous with the condensed milk (another rare occurence). The location was pretty clean and very reasonably price. They tried with the music, but it did not quite seem authentic to the coffeeshop, but hey! Also, the service was mediocre, yet nothing that would make me not want to return.

Excellent welcoming coffee shop. Owners are very polite, friendly and curtious. Lots of places to park outside on the street too with a very short walk. Food very fresh and includes a great flavor rush. Pleasant atmosphere with everyone in good spirits.

Great setup, real cozy spot to get your morning going. Owners of Treme Coffeehouse is SUPER welcoming! Really Great customer service!!! Would definitely recommend and come back to.

Yelp
This place was 2 blocks from our Airbnb for our guys trip to Nola. We stopped in to try breakfast the first morning and enjoyed the croissant sandwiches and coffee and especially the workers. I didn't catch her name but the owner (I'm guessing) was there each of our three mornings and was super friendly. Based on the sandwiches location, and friendliness we'd for sure recommend this place and come back if we visit New Orleans again and stay in the Treme area.

Sherelle L.

Yelp
My caramel macchiato was bomb! It was made with perfection and the expresso did it's thing. I also went with a Turkey and cheese sandwich on a croissant, and I was pleasantly surprised that it was not skimpy at all! All cost me around $18 which is on the pricey side but the items were good! This coffee shop has enough space for people to work/study and spend some time there. Service was super friendly and inviting.

Bailey M.

Yelp
Cute neighborhood coffee house! Very friendly employees. I had a cherry snowball, it was messy but good.

Harmonese P.

Yelp
Treme Coffeehouse is one is my favorite coffee shops in the city. Right around the corner from my home in Treme-- it's super convenient! I visited on their 10th year anniversary to see Z2 (Yoshitaka Tsuji) play for the anniversary. The vibe is always nice, staff is always friendly and welcomes you w| a smile. They also sell snowball + ice cream for this hot, summer days. I love their tuna salad sandwich and fresh fruit they have. I recommend!!

Christopher V.

Yelp
What a lovely coffee spot! The staff was friendly and welcoming, and there's cool artwork and photos in the walls. They have a limited menu, but everything we ordered was good. We will definitely return!

Yelp
Great coffeehouse in NOLA. I highly recommend it if you are in the Treme section of NOLA, looking for a hand crafted pick me up AND not looking for your run of the mill chain coffee shop. The vibe is funky and eclectic and "looks" like the way I would want a NOLA coffee shop to look like (if that makes sense) The ladies behind the bar were super nice and there as a nice selection of hot/cold caffinated/noncaffinated options available. I ended up with an iced cold brew which was smooth and delicious. Mark (the non coffee drinker) ended up with a nitro. He did not share with me so I can only assume that it was top notch in his book. I wish I could have spent more time here as it looks to be a great neighborhood coffee shop where one can meet friends or bring your laptop for work. A perfectly

Yelp
Best coffee I had over my 7 day trip! I had 2 iced lattes per day in NOLA, and I stopped here 3 times with my mom. The service and coffee were outstanding! The butter croissant was so light and flakey, and they sell homemade New Orleans ice cream. I ordered hot teas for my father, and they had a nice variety of loose leaf tea. Excellent service with a neighborhood feel where the patrons knew each other, and the batista knew their drinks before they ordered. I absolutely loved this coffee shop, I wish we had something like it in Alabama.

J D.

Yelp
Looking for some coffee near our air bnb and found this place. Very friendly service. Free wifi. Some funky jazz playing in the background seemed to fit the environment perfectly. And the Coffee did not disappoint!

Alex B.

Yelp
Great little cafe off the regular path. Highly recommended and the medium roast is excellent

Amanda K.

Yelp
The owners are easy to reach out to via their website and are very kind and reasonable people in my experience.

Yelp
Visited the Treme coffeehouse yesterday. What a great place! The have a large inside area plus a fenced in outside courtyard. The huge courtyard azalea was blooming. I had a cafe au lait and that was good coffee! Plenty of snacks or sandwiches to order if you are hungry. Note for anyone driving from Claiborne - St. Philip street was closed with construction, so you'll have to reroute. They are also handicapped accessible with a ramp in the courtyard. I'm so happy to have found this place and will definitely be back.

Kim D.

Yelp
This Salmon Lox bagel is so friggin GOOD!! I was on a hunt for it & Yelp guided me here. The place was spacious & very clean, perfect for pulling out a laptop & getting some work done. The staff was friendly and my food came out made to order. The bagel was warm and crispy. I got it with all the fixings: cream cheese, tomato, red onion, etc. I will be back!

Colton K.

Yelp
Best bagel lox I've ever had!!! Highly recommend, great food, good coffee, and great atmosphere. I can not rave about the bagel with lox enough. It was phenomenal!

Camly T.

Yelp
I'm surprised it took me so long to stop by here. It's a solid place to grab a quick coffee. I wasn't able to try any of the food, but it looked. They had a little indoor and a little outdoor seating. I got great vibes from the people working there. Looking forward to swinging by again. Very close to Louis Armstrong Park.

Maria M.

Yelp
Treme coffeehouse is adorable and the perfect stop for a drink and snack. I tend to be in the neighborhood weekly and have stopped here a few times. My fave drink is the iced chai latte. They have all the great snacks here and I love that the healthier things outnumber the not so healthy. They have yogurts, chips, baked goods, snoballs, sandwiches, tea, water, soda, etc. Our family was killing some time yesterday and enjoyed the atmosphere for about an hour. During that time, two people were on computers, 2 kids were playing boardgames and a couple was out in the courtyard. My brother ordered a turkey sandwich and it was big! He enjoyed it, as well as a coffee. My daughter ordered a plain snoball and a day old pastry that was yummy! Hubby had a water and a blueberry scone that was fresh and tasty. I had the chai latte. Bathroom was clean, big, and gender neutral but doesn't lock

Yelp
Stayed around the block from here at an Airbnb and this quickly became one of my regular spots on the way into the French quarter! Great folks that work here with a smile everyday! Just puts you in the right kind of mood to start your day off right! The place is pretty low key with regulars who are welcoming and friendly. I loved coming here every morning during my stay! If I come back again, I'll definitely be stopping back in

John T.

Yelp
Absolutely loved this place. It was the highlight of my "bucket list" trip to The French Quarter in New Orleans. It's a very nice and quaint little coffee house in the "hood" away from the hustle and stench of Bourbon St and the carnage left behind by the inconsiderate. Coffee drinks were awesome (would have been better in real coffee mugs), and all food items where made fresh. I am old school and live for the "simple" pleasure's of life, and Treme did not disappoint. Sitting inside was great. They opened up the shutters letting the warm humid breeze flow in (reminded me of Jamaica) which was awesome. Overall, it was a great little "hole in the wall" to visit and hangout.

Shobha S.

Yelp
Cute little coffee shop, a limited menu, but they had delicious scones and the coffee was great too!

Kendoll C.

Yelp
A short walk from our BnB they were our go-to- for our morning coffee fix. It was such a delightful place, I wish we had time to stop and enjoy some converstation with the very friendly locals. My simple latte was well made; better than any big store name I had in the city. Plus they had a great fixin's area with lots of options-I spiced up my drink up with cinnamon. Added bonus, I was able to pair my coffee with pastries! My eyes widened at the variety of morning pastries they offered. And became even wider when I discovered the splendid basket of "day olds" where they had pastries for $1. They must have been so super fresh the day of that it carried over into day two! I couldn't even tell the pastry was a day old haha. I ate a lemon raspberry scome, and hubbie had a blueberry muffin. Fresh fruit in both! I loved our little stops here.

Mandie B.

Yelp
Thanks to Yelpers I found this great coffee spot! We were staying a few blocks away and I just wanted a quiet spot to enjoy a coffee and a simple sandwich so off we went. When we arrived there were a few others in the cafe, but there was not a line. I looked over the menu and ordered a coffee and even though it was early in the day I asked if I could order a sandwich and they told me I could! So I ordered a turkey sandwich with all the toppings. My husband ordered a ham and cheese sandwich and a coffee as well. We paid (square) and took a seat at one of the tables in the corner. As we waited for our drinks and food others began to arrive. A lot of people who were traveling ended up here. How do I know they were traveling? They had luggage with them! I guess this is a good spot to enjoy coffee while waiting for a cab or uber to pick you up if you are headed to the airport. Lots of people were working on their laptops and some people were reading. It was a true coffee shop experience! When our coffee and sandwiches arrived (they actually brought them out to our table) we both were delighted to begin eating. The french bread is heavenly and so fresh. The meats were all boar's head and I love this brand! Our coffee was strong and tasted great! After eating our finishing our coffee I needed to run to the restroom. The door is locked so you have to ask for the key at the register. Before leaving Treme Coffeehouse I decided to grab some baked goods to enjoy later on that day; I ordered a cranberry muffin and an almond croissant to go. They were both day old and cost $1 each! What a steal! When I finally got around to eating the muffin and the croissant I could not even tell they were a day old, they were still moist and tasted fresh. Even my husband commented on how flaky the croissant was. The service was great and friendly. The food was fantastic. The coffee was delicious. The location was just right. I will be back and I hope to see you there!

Yelp
It's International Coffee Day, so I decided to wander out of the Quarter and visit some places I haven't been before. A quick 9 minute walk from where I am staying, even a little rain couldn't get me down. The staff was engaging with everyone who came in the door. I had an iced chai, which was delightful, and a healthy bagel which was fresh and hit the spot after a night of Quarter imbibing and shenanigans. While the beverages, food and service were amazing, the real charm of the place is the vibe. From the music playing at an appropriate level over head, to the socially distanced and comfortable seating area, to the delightful conversations that unfolded around me, I really could see this being a frequent morning stop for me when I finally make my move to the area.

Yelp
There's a reason that Treme Coffeehouse has such high praise. It lives up to the hype and more. It's a quaint coffeeshop with strong wifi, tasty coffee, yummy pastries, wonderful service, and ample street parking. I've lived in New Orleans for almost 6 years now and the whole time, Treme Coffeehouse has remained a constant fave. There's just something about the overall vibe that makes it truly special. Maybe it's the local art adorning the walls, killer music playlist (often local brass or New Orleans Jazz), or board games that they always have lying around. It feels like a true community cafe which is so important in every neighborhood and especially in the Treme. I love that any time I'm sitting in there working, I run into a bunch of people I know. I also think it's great that all the employees seem to know all the locals by name and by order. Do yourself a favor and if you're in town (or if you live here already), swing by and grab a pecan tart/iced coffee. You won't regret it. PS. If you get there early enough in the day, you can grab one of their delicious day old sweet potato or pecan tarts for only 1.75!

Danielle V.

Yelp
This coffee shop is perfect. You can tell they take fantastic care of their customers - I'm from out of town and everyone who came in seemed like they were friends with the whole staff! It was really nice to see. The latte I had was perfectly flavored and the lox bagel was delicious. Very cozy place and fast wifi.

Gab G.

Yelp
Our first stop in New Orleans after settling into our nearby Airbnb was at Treme coffeehouse for some much-needed caffeine. The iced coffee was great and the employees were super nice. The baked goods also looked tasty; alas, we were on our way to breakfast elsewhere. Definitely recommended!

Simon B.

Yelp
FRESHEST delicious decaf coffee. bonus: almond milk; pour it yourself says he, u know how much u prefer. GENEROUS and refill second serve only a buck = VALUE. CLEAN. An oasis of calm, friendly WiFi always works well, can get some 'work' done. BEST decaf every time. STAFF are really kind and patient. SIX STAR experience. AVOID CHAIN STORE coffee = $$$$ and 'attitude'. An easy walk / an easier bike ride from FQ to historical neighbourhood TREME Coffehouse earns our highest recommendations.

Helen M.

Yelp
This spot is really cool. Located in the Treme area which is accessible to many people looking for available Coffee Spots. It is a bit smaller than usual coffee spots but the sandwiches are really delicious! I had a turkey sandwich with avocado and boiii was it tasty!!!! My coffee beverage was good. The deli meat was a Boarder's Brand so it was nice Fresh and just flavorful! The environment was really laid back. May be a bit noisier than most coffee shops however, really good deli sandwiches.

Scarlett F.

Yelp
Cute little spot, the bagels are so good. I got the lox and a macchiato. It was $14 but it came out quick and taste so good. Probably my new favorite spot.

Abagail S.

Yelp
Cute vibe in this cafe. Extremely kind staff and delicious coffee. Awesome customer service! I got an iced mocha latte and my sister got iced hibiscus tea, each of which were amazing. They have all types of non dairy and plant milk. Please tip if you visit this awesome cafe!!!

Scott W.

Yelp
This was our last place to eat in NOLA and we were very impressed with the Bagels with Lox and the overall service. We're glad that we grabbed a quick sandwich to go before we headed home.

Maeghan R.

Yelp
We stayed at an Airbnb down the street from this place and wished we found it sooner than our last day visiting NOLA. I am not normally a fan of cold brew, but this was delicious 100% would order it again. We also ordered the lox bagel sandwich and a crossaint they were both amazing. The staff was so friendly and looked after us so well. I will be going back there during my next visit.

Andrea T.

Yelp
I've been to several coffee shops in the city but Treme Coffeehouse is my favorite so far. As you can guess from the name, it's located in the historic neighborhood spotlighted in the HBO drama. I'll quickly rundown the reasons to check them out when you're in the area: PROS --They sell coffee and snoballs! They're the only place I know of that has both. We didn't try the snoballs this time but our coffees were solid. They also had a tempting assortment of pastries in the display case. --The décor was very NOLA. Cheerful, eye-popping color greets you at the door. Inside, the walls are a mix of bright orange and exposed brick. Black and white photos line the walls along with Jazz Fest works from a local artist. --The staff was super friendly and welcoming. No hint of barista-tude, just service with a smile. --On the day we visited, it was busy but seating was available at café tables and sofas. They have a stack of board games and a really cool chess set. We definitely got a sit and stay vibe here. It's a place to relax, hang out with friends or get work done. --Parking is free and easy to find on the street a few yards from the entrance. CONS --I'm reaching here but the coffeehouse is on the French Quarter Segway tour route. While we were there a group of tourists made a pit stop at the café instantly doubling the capacity. Not a big deal unless you're easily distracted. Treme Coffeehouse is on my short list of best coffee shops I've visited so far in the city.

Robert P.

Yelp
They didn't have tiger blood flavor. It's the bomb. Tried the dragon blood was also good. Their fresh Lemonade is awesome!

Julie Ying X.

Yelp
I came here to get coffee on a Saturday morning since it was a short walk from where my friends and I were staying. They had a good selection of drinks and three different sizes of cups. The prices were reasonable. It was super hot that day (gotta love the 90 degree June weather in NOLA) so I got a small ice coffee. I rather drink a hot coffee though since the ice dilutes the coffee a lot. The chicory coffee was good though. The place has free wi-fi and a lot of seating (both inside and outside). The staff were very friendly and helpful.

Reto W.

Yelp
Great neighborhood coffee shop. Super friendly staff. Interesting mix of locals getting their daily cup of joe and young visitors since there are quite a few Airbnbs moving into the neighborhood. Their cortado is authentic and well done. Also recommend their everything bagel with or without lox.

Samantha S.

Yelp
We stayed in an air b n b close to here and ventured down the first morning and went back every morning. The coffee and service was GREAT! I ordered a muffin and it was warm! The inside vibe was also pretty cool! Would definitely recommend!

Maria R.

Yelp
Great coffee and lots of variety! Sweets are delicious. The ambiance is chill to enjoy a date or simply do some work! Love this coffee shop and so will you!

Robert D.

Yelp
Great spot for eating. Love their Bagel and lox. Great Tuna sandwich. Very good turkey sandwich. Loved their iced latte. Came for visit and found Treme and got hooked on it. Will be back for sure.

Brandon W.

Yelp
Lots of good choices, but... What is probably, by far and away, the worlds best almond croissant. Especially if slightly heated. Heaven!

Katrina S.

Yelp
Full disclosure - I believe a good coffee house is made of a few vital components. Environment Even from the street view this spot is clean, colorful, vibrant and welcoming. It's reasonable quiet between the bussles of business and the look is cohesive but funky. Community reflection Treme is a vibrant, artistic community with history stretching back to the roots of this city. This space is decorated with local photos and posters. You can purchase local wares and artwork while soaking in part of the culture. Accessibility The vibe, cost and location of this business allows locals, tourists and commuting workers to stop in. The feature of the extensive snowball menu extends this reach beyond the basic coffeeshop crowd. Personality Nothing thrones in this city without being authentic. The owners and employees are just that. Nola friendly, but not sugar coated - maintaining a smile but did cussing real issues. Product Sitting in this space for even 20 minutes, I've over heard the staff answering questions about chicory for tourists, making amazing traditional cappuccinos, and serving up delicious bagel sandwiches. **Bonus: not many people know it but Treme Coffeeshop also partners with local school programing providing internships and work experience for students with additional barriers to employment. Support organizations that support our youth.

Shuné D.

Yelp
This was one of our stops while walking around in the neighborhood of Tremé while visiting New Orleans. It's a very cozy, cute little café/coffee shop near the elementary school here. It attracts many neighborhood locals as a comfort spot. There are very few tourists that know about the shop and will only find out through walking tours of its existence. We were so comfortable here. This is definitely worth a visit if you're looking for a nice quiet place to chill out with a cup of coffee, tea, small lunch, etc. away from the hustle and bustle of the French quarter.

Sophia S.

Yelp
Great cold brew coffee! Was a short 5-minute walk from our hotel. Came around 10am on a Sunday and it wasn't too crowded. The place is very charming. Ordered lox bagel as well. Everything about the bagel was good delicious except the bagel itself. I'm from NY so very particular about my bagel. Didn't have high expectations but hey, when you want a bagel, you want a bagel. Anyway, the bagel is more of a roll than a bagel. Not chewy. I'd order this again if I craved a a bagel and planned on staying in this area again. It was decent. Not great.

Alexis H.

Yelp
Really cute place and I wish we had tried it out sooner before leaving! I was staying nearby with some friends for the weekend and I am not a local, but it seemed like a lot of locals come here, which is always a good sign. I really enjoyed their iced coffee and fruit tart!

Kiera K.

Yelp
Cute little coffee shop right by our hotel. Found them through Yelp and was so happy to support a local small business outside of the quarter. We went each morning of our stay and the coffee selection was liked by all. They offer non dairy milk which made my lactose intolerant self happy.

Carly B.

Yelp
This is the cutest and best coffeehouse in the area! The baked goods selection isn't huge but it's good. The iced mocha is perfect. Not any hint of bitterness and the perfect amount of sweetness. The ABSOLUTE BEST thing there is the bagel and lox sandwich. If I could have one of these sandwiches every single day for breakfast, I wouldn't complain at all. Everyone needs to check this place out! The only downside is that since this is a unique, hometown place, there are only 2 workers and at busy times, there is a bit of a wait. It's worth it for the sandwich though!

Beth J.

Yelp
This has become my go to coffee shop. I'm a New Yorker and I've had an iced coffee and a bagel n lox almost everyday from here this week. Great pastries and they have coconut milk!!! Gender neutral bathrooms are big and clean. Internet is consistent and there is a beautiful chess board. All the people I've interacted with who work here have been very welcoming and the establishment seems to be quite queer friendly. The place is kept really clean. They keep it well ventilated, cool on hot days and warm on cool days. There is an atm machine and they also take credit cards.

John C.

Yelp
Great little neighborhood coffee house where the real locals hang. The chicory coffee here is great and you get a larger size instead of the overpriced little ones they serve at the touristy places. There's a nice outdoor seating area where you can take in the feel of the neighborhood. Cool people working here. Great positive vibes

Kirin K.

Yelp
They have coconut milk! It's big and airy. The lox bagel is awesome- and I'm a New Yorker. Their espresso is smooth. The staff is really kind. The bathroom is huge and very clean. The internet is consistent

Dale M.

Yelp
Such a cute little coffee shop, great vibes. Owners are very nice, efficient, and great people. They have boars head for meat and cheese which is amazing. The seating is minimum but you can push tables together. They even have an ATM. But they take card as well. Bagels & sandwiches are yummy, lots of coffee options. Plus SNOWBALLS

Ee N.

Yelp
I love everything about this coffeehouse. The owners are amazingly real people, the coffee is perfect every single time, the artwork is local, the regulars are friendly- and the food is tasty as can be. Sandwiches are an art form and they nail it. Anything you order will be more than enough proportions, fresh and flavorful. And if you start to hang out a little- traci will just make you whatever he thinks you said - hence- everything on the menu is tasty cause he's made me everything at one point in time. Local or just visiting- GO GET SOME COFFEE!
