Where to Drink Outside in New Orleans Right Now

"Trep’s is one of the best places to drink outdoors with kids or dogs — there’s plenty of contained outdoor space here. Despite the brewery-like vibe, there’s a full bar serving cocktails, frozen drinks, and wine in addition to beer, and the approachable menu has something for everyone." - Clair Lorell, Eater Staff

New Orleans Restaurants With Heated Patios for Winter Dining - Eater New Orleans

"Trep’s was built for pandemic-era dining and drinking — a mostly outdoor, kid-and-dog-friendly, full service restaurant and bar in Mid City. The various outdoor dining seating areas are equipped for all seasons, fully furnished with both industrial fans and heaters (part of its quest to serve as a game-day destination). The menu is a jumble of standard bar food and globally-influenced plates, but the burgers are good and the Friday oyster happy hour is solid." - Clair Lorell

Great vibes with great food. I loved it. The wings weren’t cooked hard or covered in too much sauce. The drinks were strong. Enjoyable experience. Lots of outdoor seating that allowed for a better experience.

I visited Trep’s for brunch on a Sunday and sat on the outdoor patio area. It was super nice with trees, TVs and fans to keep the area cool! I started with the Lushie (frozen Rose’). I think it was the best one I’ve ever had! The boudin egg rolls were good but I liked them without the accompanying sauce. For my entree, I had the shrimp and grits. It was good and different! The sauce was a corn maque choux. The other guest had the cheeseburger and thought it was good also. Lastly, we had the baby beignets for dessert. They were really good and came with a mocha sauce. I wasn’t a huge fan of the sauce, so ate them without it. Would definitely return for the beautiful patio and delicious frozen drinks.

Google
Went here on a late Sunday night for dinner with some friends. Trep’s has a fantastic outdoor/mixed indoor setting. My wife had a burger, and I had a fried chicken sandwich. Both great! Highly recommend the truffle fries. I will definitely go back!

Google
This restaurant is very nice. It has an extensive open dining room and when I say extensive it's inside and outside. The garage doors are open right now and it has a very nice breeze. I got the Truffle french fries with garlic aioli sauce. Its very pleasing to the taste buds and not over powering at all. My friend got the Fried chicken club sandwich with the truffle fries as an upgrade. She said the chicken was kinda hard but she murdered the sandwich. She said it was better the last time, so she knows their full potential. But the Garlic aioli was by far the best dipping sauce I have had in long time. I wish I could take a big container of it back to Phenix City, Alabama with me.

Google
Really liked this place the first time I went but not the last couple times. The raw oysters are great, but I have to say the rest of the food is pretty average and downright expensive. Cool place to maybe grab a couple drinks and watch a game if it’s nice outside, but don’t set your expectations too high for service and food quality. Went once for a friend’s birthday brunch, and the payment situation was a total nightmare. I wish they had just told us they couldn’t do separate payments because the receipts ended up being completed messed up, and we were overcharged by $70 or so but didn’t even figure that out until after the fact because of how messed up and miscalculated the different bills were.

Google
The food was absolutely amazing. The atmosphere was great as well. The waiter was patient and didn't rush us at all. We felt very welcome. I will definitely be visiting this establishment again.

Drinks were very good and the food was amazing. I would recommend this for a date night.

Google
Really great food & fun place to watch the saints game. The shrimp & grits with corn maque choux was probably the best I’ve ever had! The staff was incredibly kind and so accommodating. They made a table for us inside when it started to rain, gave us extra oysters & even brought our dog a water bowl :) Will definitely return next time I’m in New Orleans!

Yelp
Second time visiting Monday, nothing less than amazing! The server Lyric was knowledgeable and suggested the perfect dish. Love the atmosphere and the music selection!! I definitely will be returning to Monday on Monday!

Yelp
This was my second time dining at Mondays, and it was just as good as the first! I came with my sister and friends, and our server, Brion, was fantastic. She suggested the redfish and salmon burger, which my table decided to order, while I went for the lamb chops with grits--no sauce, just the perfect combo! For our appetizers, we had the chicken cracklings and crab claws, which we enjoyed together with our first round of drinks--the mimosa flights. The chicken cracklings were a fun twist on the traditional dish, more like chicken nuggets, and I'm actually ordering them again via UberEats as I write this review! After our appetizers, we switched to the margarita flights/shots, which were equally refreshing and paired perfectly with our dishes. Overall, the atmosphere was lively, the food was exceptional, and Brion's recommendations truly made our experience memorable. I can't wait to come back for round three! I highly recommend Mondays for catching up with friends!

Yelp
After hearing a friend speak so highly of the brunch she enjoyed on Sunday, I went the following day, Monday, with the same friend and two others. Our experience, unfortunately, was underwhelming. To begin with, we were excited to enjoy the frozen Margaritas for the happy hour since it was Monday. That did not happen because the machine was broken. We wanted to order as soon as we sat down but were told that the machine would be down for 20 minutes. After 30 minutes, we asked and were told it would be an additional 30 minutes. As we were preparing to leave, we were told, even though we were over it, it would be an additional 5 minutes. Had we known we would not be able to get the drinks, we would not even have stayed. Now for the food. One ordered the wings, which looked delicious. Another ordered the chicken pasta. It was just ok. The pasta sauce, which was akin to Alfredo, could have used more seasoning. Two of us ordered the salmon. We both should have asked for it to be cooked well done because we both sent it back when we discovered it was uncooked or not cooked enough in the center. The center was also not hot. We sent it back, and I decided to eat my sides: fries, mac, and cheese. The mac and cheese was embarrassing. I usually do not order it out, but I gave them the benefit and ordered it. It was a soupy mess that could not have been made with any cheese that was in block form. The macaroni was overcooked and just awful. Our server was nice, and she offered a refill of the coke, but I had to ask for water refills. We all agreed that we would not return unless it was for the brunch, which I was told was a completely different experience.

Yelp
The food is great. We had crab claws, gumbo , red beans & rice , shrimp and oysters. Ohhh and the sweet potato beignets were top tier. The down side was the service. They sat us at a dirty table and the hostess said she would be back to clean it; however she never came back. I had to get someone else's attention to clean the table. We waited for about 25 minutes and nobody came to the table to take our order . I had to go back to the hostess and ask could we get a server . It took so long that the guests next to us went to the bar And bought us some cocktails because they felt bad guy us. They were so nice. 5 mins later, someone finally came to help us. Keisha came to help us even though we were not in her section. She was sooo kind and apologetic. She changed our experience

Yelp
I have been trying to get here several times when I am in town and this time it finally happened. I was alone when I walked up and I was asked if I had a reservation but I did not. I was told by the waitress at the front desk that I could go and sit at the bar if there was available seating. Although there was seating, I wanted to sit on the patio. I went back to Erica who had greeted me at the front desk and she told me she would get me a table. In what seems like 1 minute she told me to follow her and she seated me on the patio. What is unique about their patio is there are 3 trees that the patio is built around. Very unique! I had pancakes with bacon and a mimosa. They were delicious and Erica made sure I was taken care of. I enjoyed my experience very much. I will definitely return my next time in town.

Yelp
Nice spot with more outdoor seating the indoor. Has a very laid back atmosphere, with a cool vibe pumped in via the music they play. We had reservations as was suggested but they were not busy at 6pm on a Saturday evening. We got lucky and were sat inside since it was slightly cooler outside. Service was ok. We noticed he gave more attention to a table that was seated after us, which he seemed to know the dinners personally. It was difficult to get refills or requested condiments without repeated requests when we could catch him. I ordered the blackened redfish with a side of Brussel sprouts and he ordered the seafood platter and added a side of mac and cheese. We also ordered boudin egg rolls as an appetizer but never got them. Food came out quickly. My redfish was really good. The accompanying Cajun rice it was served atop could have been a meal by itself. It was full of ground beef and seasoned well. I enjoyed the preparation of the brussel sprouts and definitely liked the glaze on top. His Mac and cheese was good. Really cheesy and seasoned. I wasn't impressed with the shrimp I ate off his plate. The biggest letdown was the sweet potato beignets. I was expecting either the beignet to be made out of sweet potatoes or for them to be filled with sweet potatoes. Neither happened. Instead, we received beignets that had a dollop of sweet potato piped at the opening only. I would guess it's was about a teaspoon or less worth of filling. While the beignet tasted great on the caramel sauce, it was not what I had envisioned for the dish. I will stop short of saying Monday is over-hyped. Granted it was nice but perhaps if our server had been better, it could have lived up to the hype.

Yelp
My friend and I went to visit New Orleans. Since we didn't have a reservation, we waited an hour and fifteen minutes. I loved how the waiting area was with all the seating, shade and a game. There was also a mini bar in the waiting section. The inside was very nice along with the outdoor dinning room. Now let's get to the food! We both ordered mimosas and then we did a few appetizers, a main entree and dessert.(view pictures below). The wings were pretty good. I just felt as though they could've cooked them a little longer. The flavor was tasteful. Moving on to the SHRIMP GRITS. I was soooooo disappointed!!! No seriously! My tastebuds were trying to figure out where the seasoning is. Smh, I just knew I was going to get a burst of flavor raging through my mouth! It was pretty bland. I ordered a pc of catfish as well. I enjoyed that. My friend had the gumbo. She thumbed it down and did not finish it. The last thing we ordered was the SWEET POTATOES BEIGNETS and ICE CREAM! That was the best item we had. Soooo yea! That was my experience, yours could be different. I probably won't try again.

Yelp
I had been hearing such good things about this restaurant so I had to try it. The place is in a neighborhood. Street parking only. We visited on a weeknight so it wasn't hard to find a spot. They have outdoor covered seating and indoor. A huge place with adult sized games outside as well. Plenty of benches for you to sit while you wait to be seated. We waited maybe 5 minutes. We sat at a table near the bar. It was happy hour so we ordered appetizers and drinks. All of the food listed below was exceptionally good. I wish there was a bigger portion of the spinach dip though. The star of the night was the sweet potato beignets. They are dangerously good. I can't wait to return in the future. I also sent another friend to this restaurant when she visited this week and she was very pleased. Appetizers BOUDIN EGG ROLLS Seafood Spinach Dip Pizza with Shrimp Entrees Lamb Chops with garlic mashed potatoes and Brussels Sprouts Seafood Platter with Catfish and Shrimp Seafood Gumbo Dessert Sweet Potato Beignets Drinks BLUEBERRY MOJITO white rum, blueberry, mint, lime, soda HIBISCUS MARTINI gin, hibiscus, lemon juice

Yelp
Mondays was such a cute and laid-back spot--perfect for a chill vibe. When we arrived, we were told the wait would be about 2 hours, which seemed like forever, especially since we had a party of 10-15 people and it was around noon on a hot Sunday. To pass the time, we decided to grab snowballs nearby to cool off. Funny enough, just as we got our snowballs, we were notified that our table was ready. The actual wait time ended up being less than 20 minutes, which was a pleasant surprise! We sat outside, and I have to say, the setup was perfect. They had large trees providing natural shade, and with fans blowing, it felt so refreshing after being out in the sun. It created the perfect balance of outdoor dining without the heat overwhelming us. The service was fast and super friendly, which only added to the relaxed atmosphere. As for the food? It was solid across the board--everything we tried was good. And if you're a football fan, you'll love that they had the **NFL playing on the TVs**, with The Saints game drawing a lot of attention. I expected some lively music to be playing and a more festive atmosphere given the football crowd, but it was actually much more mellow. If you're looking for a spot to turn up, this isn't the place. Mondays is more about a **demure ambiance**--perfect for those who want to enjoy good food, good company, and a low-key vibe without the party scene. It's definitely a great choice for a relaxed afternoon! .

Yelp
The claws stole the show! Absolutely delicious and so were the sweet potato beignets. I would skip the chicken cracklin app. But claws and beignets - get a double order of each!! Ordered Uber eats and it was still delicious!!
google avatar

Thema D.

Yelp
Excellent experience from start to finish. We made a reservation so we had no problems being seated upon arrival. I ordered the fried shrimp dinner, we shared a chicken cracklin appetizer and sweet potato beignets for dessert. Everything was tasty but those sweet potato beignets were the highlight for me. Honestly, probably the highlight of the whole trip. The server was friendly and provided great service. There is seating indoors and out. I would highly recommend making a reservation. And I'll definitely be returning next time I'm in town.

Yelp
Met up with a friend recently and was pleasantly surprised by our choices. Everything was delicious. We started with the wings and they had just enough sweetness and zing to impress. I had the Club sandwich and my friend had the Tacos. We sat inside and were able to chat and catch up over a delightful meal. Mondays prove to be great on any day.

Yelp
Great food! Pleasantly surprised. The service could def improve. My waitress seemed unconcerned and we had to grab her attention the entire time but she was extremely nice. The portions were generous and the food was fresh! Loved it

Yelp
So I finally got the chance to come back.... And I first thing I will say is TOURIST TRAP!!! It's wayyyy better places for cheaper prices! Okay now that thats out the way. We made reservations because we need it would be packed. The flight we had was good but overpriced. The gumbo was not a favorite but it was okay. If you know gumbo , you will know this isn't even close to the best. The wings were average. But we the wings that came with the chicken and waffles was really good. The best thing that hit the table was them sweet potato beignets!! If they here fresh I would've gave this place a 5/5 just for them but they were Luke warm. It's a very nice set up and plenty of outside seating. The service is slow. Like it's a lot of workers but it doesn't seem like people were working if that makes sense. I probably won't be back but def something you should try at least once.
google avatar

Yelp
The crab claws were so plump and buttery. I literally could drink the sauce. I definitely needed more bread to dip into the delicious sauce. I am usually not a chicken wing person, but I couldn't stop eating these tasty wings. The sweet chili wing sauce had a little kick which suited me perfectly. The wings were huge and so tasty. My favorite, if I had to pick one dish, was the seafood pizza. OMG, If I wasn't full already, I would have ate the whole pizza myself! Amazing!! The service was good. Our server was very nice and attentive. We did wait a little bit for her to run our credit card after she dropped the check. It was also a hot day outside and hot in the restaurant where we ate. I would have liked some cooler air blowing inside. I was sweating. Also, I ordered an unsweetened tea. I was told that something was wrong with it. Therefore, not served it, which I appreciated.
google avatar

Kleopatra G.

Yelp
From the service to the food to drinks, everything here was mediocre and forgettable. The gumbo was bland and watery. The hibiscus martini was too sweet. The only thing good was the Brussels sprouts. The waitress was just okay, seemed like she was rushing us and wasn't very personable. Also why do some restaurants act like it's an act of Congress to split a check 2 ways? Overall I would not recommend and do not plan on returning.

Yelp
While visiting New Orleans for a 3 day weekend we made reservations for Monday (because of the great tik tok reviews) for 5:45 for dinner on our final evening. It wasn't too busy when we arrived and we were greeted and seated immediately. Our server was great, the ambiance was on point the food was amazing. We went for the Sweet Chili wings and the sweet potato beignets and were not disappointed!! The wings were good as expected but the beignets were really the star of the show. Im so glad we were able to fit it into our trip.

Yelp
Great spot for happy hour with a big patio. The food is full of flavor. The crab claws were big and drenched in this delicious butter, I could drink it. The sweet potato beignets were fluffy and satisfied every craving,

Yelp
Monday's has great food, drinks, service, and a cute vibe. I have gone a few times and have never been disappointed. The outdoor seating is great when the weather is nice. I highly recommend.
google avatar

Yelp
Very basics. I had the po boy. It was dry and the bread was soft. There was too much bread and not enough filling. If you have a party of more than 4 you pay an 18% fee. The waiter was nice so that's good. I hear the brunch is better.
google avatar

Yelp
On street parking, mostly outside dining. We sat inside! Whewwww....it be hot outchea! Blueberry Mojito was on point! Grown folks drink! Elotes- a miss! Need to use fresh corn versus frozen! Boudin egg rolls were fiya! The sauce insane! Gumbo .....ahhhhh....has potential! Fresh seafood is a plus! Roux could be thicker...subjective! Out of oysters! That's not a bad thing in August! Redfish was fresh and paired well with Cajun rice! Jeremy, the manager was cordial and attentive. Kaylee was a great, knowledgeable server!! We arrived at 1:00pm on a Thursday. Thanks goodness because the folks start pouring in! A must stop when in NOLA. Anthony Anderson even came in white we were here! Issue: there was an automatic 18% gratuity charged for 2 people! This is a game changer for me and made this review a 3 versus a 4! Do better! You cheated the Kaylee! Best wishes Mondays!

Yelp
I have frequently passed by this location, expecting an inviting atmosphere, but our experience did not align with those expectations. We were not greeted upon arrival, and it was unclear whether a host was present, as no one acknowledged us near the entrance. As a result, we checked in at the bar, only to be redirected. Although our waitress greeted us, she failed to take our order, despite our preparedness to order drinks. When she returned, we were informed that the beer and entree I desired were unavailable, leading us to decide to leave. The experience was awkward, and the apparent lack of inventory for our desired orders led us to depart.
google avatar

Kelly L.

Yelp
The food was delicious! I got the pasta and I literally left nothing in the bowl besides a spoon. The day we went, drinks were $5 so we got a few and they were strong! Because it's outside there were a lot of flies toward the end but literally didn't experience this until we were done eating. Service is amazing and the vibes are A-1!

Yelp
I dropped in on a Monday for their all day happy hour. I don't think any food I ordered was actually on the happy hour special, and I did not drink. GLOWS: -The venue is cute and had a variety of seating options. -The music played at a level good to still have conversation. -The service was efficient and effective. -The red beans and rice was really good. There was a pinch of spice and maybe a little too much salt (there is also smoked turkey in the beans), but still tasty. A pinch more rice would gave been nice too! GROWS: -Most of the dishes have some type of pork in them, so be sure to ask about the menu options if you have any dietary restrictions because everything is not explicitly stated on the menu -The bathroom set up was very weird. There are 2 single stalls in the inside dining area, which there was a line backing up for when I went to use it. I asked about other restrooms options and was told there are 3 stalls for each gender on the outside of the restaurant attached to the outside dining area. The outside stalls were soooooo small. I could barely get my clothing up and down to use the bathroom. It was uncomfortable. Then there was only one small sink, so everyone was bunched into the space, as we came out of the stalls at the same time. -The cornbread muffin was rock hard. I didn't enjoy it at all. Maybe a bad batch. -The asparagus was super thick and not very tasty. I would not get it again.

Yelp
Came here to brunch with my girls and we had a great time! The restaurant has a great playlist going, and the food?!? I tried the sweet potato beignets and WHEN I TELL YOU?! Spiritual experience - literally orgasmic. Absolutely delicious. My entree was the lamb chops with grits - it was okay. A bit on the oily side and the portion was too much in my opinion. But I guess that's subjective - otherwise it was a delicious dish.

Yelp
Overall, I just was not impressed with this place. I've seen it all over social media. Lots of people talking about it and showing videos of how amazing it was, but I found it to be simply ok. My group attempted to make same day reservations which was a little silly on our part, but we were told just to walk in because there was no wait. Once we got there we were told it was a 45 minute wait. So we decided to break the party up and go on OpenTable and make reservations right then and there. We sat at about 1:15 pm and Cheeks D was our server. She was quite forgetful and seemed to be all over the place. It took 40 minutes for our food to come, and I'm not sure why. We were literally the last table to receive our main course. I ordered the impossible bahn mi, which I assumed was like a deli sandwich but it was just a burger. The patty lacked flavor, it had zero seasoning on it. The truffle fries were really good. So I give the bahn mi a 4/10, the fries 10/10. I also had an order of sweet potato beignets. Great idea, poor execution, they weren't quite sweet enough but they did taste like sweet potatoes 6/10. Overall I give the restaurant 5/10. Lastly, the menu says they add a 18% gratuity charge to groups of 4 or more. We were a group of 3 and they still added it. So watch your bills. I would steer clear if you're a vegetarian as that was practically the only full meal option.

Yelp
I was excited to try this place, but we had a mixed experience. Ambiance: The place was really cute and great - they have an outdoor waiting area and they have cute lights all around Food: Happy hour deals were great and I enjoyed the sweet chili wings. The truffle fries were also delicious. Service: Mixed feelings about this - we came as a large group around 5pm and were told that we should wait in the outside seating area to be able to be seated in doors and that only when we were seated inside, we can order food. However, in door seating never became available and two hours later, we were told that it was okay for us to order food outside to be able to still get happy hour deals. I think either they should have made the seating available inside or they should have allowed us to have ordered food in the outdoor seating and hope to see them improve with regards to this in the future!

Yelp
It was ok. Pretty good service. Nice space. Cute fake green plants picture wall neon light aesthetic. Mostly outside patio eating, small inside. Nice bar space I didn't have a drink tho. Cool kitchen view. Good French fries. Good turkey club. I got tacos. Wouldn't get them again.
google avatar

Jeannie N.

Yelp
Review solely for the sweet potato beignets - you NEED to try these hot & fresh as soon as they hand them over. You'll also want to make sure you get 2 orders because you'll wish you had gotten the second order after you finish the first. The beignets have the perfect texture - you get three in one order. Not sure if it usually takes 15 minutes, but that was about how long we were told it would take each time we ordered the beignets. The sweet potatoes were a nice consistency and tasted exactly how I imagine the best sweet potatoes taste. Definitely stopping by here again when I'm back.
google avatar

Gabrielle C.

Yelp
Loved this place. We came on a weekday right after lunch. They had no crowd. You should make reservations before you go. The food was good and the sweet potato beignets were the highlight!! We sat outdoors and it was a good time!

Yelp
A cute and trendy spot - we came here based on all of the TikTok reviews, and they were not lying. There's no hype. We had great service, but the drinks came out slow, and the food came out fast. We came on a Monday, so it wasn't nearly as packed. If you're trying to escape the crowds, that's what I'd do. However, because of this, we didn't get to try their brunch. Here are my ratings:    1. Margarita Flight - 10/10 (I didn't try, but my friends said the drinks are strong and good) 2. Seafood Spinach Dip 8/10 The dip is good, but the chips are a little too salty for me 3. Lamb Chops - 10/10 4. The Bienville - 10/10 5. Chicken Paste Alfredo - 9/10 6. Sweet Potato Beignets - 9/10 7. Regular Beignets - 10/10

Yelp
First and foremost, the ambiance is amazing and the staff very friendly. I would visit again for those two reasons alone. The food was a mostly positive mixed bag. The shrimp tacos, brussel sprouts, the spinach seafood dip were definite highlights. On the negative side, the sweet potato mash came out lukewarm though the flavor is amazing. The drinks (margaritas) were strong and mostly frozen. As I said, the staff is lovely but our waiter seemed to disappear for long periods of time. We would've ordered more drinks. The bathroom door was broken on the women's bathroom with no handsoap in one and there was a broken hand dryer in the other. All in all, I enjoyed my experience but can't wait for them to clean up the rough edges.

Yelp
I ordered the Crab Claws, The Seafood Pizza and the Sweet Potato Beignets. The Crab Claws were good I would've liked them to be more flavorful but not bad. The Seafood Pizza had a great flavor, you could taste the seafood not overly seasoned, I could order it again and be happy. The Clear Shining STAR was the Sweet Potato Beignets! Somebody's Granny is in the Kitchen whipping up sweet potato filling because with the powdered sugar AND the sauce it was well balanced and not too sweet. The staff were friendly and helpful. A great place for a few friends to hand out, have a few drinks and tasty bites.

Yelp
My friends and I had a reservation there for 11:00. It was extremely hot out there and we were waiting outside for 6 minutes until they opened. I am not a big fan of tardiness, especially under those conditions, but we managed to get in and get seated. My wife and I order and I had the fettuccine Alfredo with chicken. It was good, but really heavy with the cream and needed just a bit more of seasoning. My wife and I shared the boudin eggroll, which was really good along with their cocktails. Our server was very attentive and knew a lot about the menu. She even brought us a fan for the table. The restaurant is mainly outside, so you cannot escape the flies that may come around. There i is inside seating as well.

Yelp
Monday , Monday, Monday! I've heard so much about Monday and I was pleased to finally try out this restaurant during the Happy Hour. New Orleans has amazing happy hours, but this place really tops it. We came in and were sat on the patio immediately. Our server came up to us, took our appetizer order and then came back promptly to get our drink orders. Let me just say, all the happy hour food specials were delicious. The oysters were fresh and really delicious. The crab claws were amazing, although not part of the happy hour, it was a very generous serving. Brussel sprouts were perfectly glazed. Sweet Thai chili wings were fantastic. I will say the boudin egg rolls were good, but not great. I just might not be a huge fan of boudin. The drinks were really good as well! I'm not a margarita girlie, BUT on the suggestion of my friend, I tried the passion fruit frozen margarita. It was delicious and I would get it again! We finished our meal with the famous sweet potatoes beignets. 10/10 , so good and I was already so full that I didn't get to finish them. I highly recommend visiting Mondays , especially during their happy hour!

Yelp
Monday's in New Orleans is a fantastic spot for anyone looking to enjoy incredible food and a lively atmosphere. The menu is packed with flavorful dishes that truly showcase local cuisine, and the service is friendly and efficient despite the bustling crowd. Be prepared for a line wrapping around the building--it's that popular! They prioritize guests with reservations, so it's highly recommended to book in advance to save time. Once inside, the vibrant energy and delicious meals make it well worth the wait! Definitely try the hyped sweet potato beignets and the sweet chili wings for an appetizer

Yelp
This is my second time here. My 1st visit was better. It's been about a year since my last visit. I don't think there is a good variety of food choices. It's either finger food stuff like wings burgers egg rolls or spinach dip if you like seafood it's may be a good choice for you. Our server was ok until she disappeared for a while. I did like the egg rolls but the wings were a little too sweet and wet for me. They have a lot of outside seating but do offer fans that help with the Louisiana weather.

Yelp
I am a firm believer in waiting for new restaurant buzz to simmer down before giving them a chance. Overall, Mondays is okay. The seafood dip wasn't the best, it was lightly peppered with seafood. If you are a heavy seafood babe, this will disappoint you. Also, it was very chunky and not smooth. The gumbo was good. The chicken crackling lacked seasoning and was very dry. The sweet potato beignet broke my heart the most.. I had high expectations! Only for it to be watery and needing more brown sugar. I would only come for drinks and appetizers at most. Overall, this is a chill place to do happy hour or if you have guests in town and want to show them a good time. The servers were kind and were engaged the entire time.

Yelp
Whether you live in New Orleans or visiting, Monday is perfect for happy hour, a quick bite, or an outting with a group. They have delicious appetizers, cocktails, and entrees. I like that they have signature cocktails but also add in specialty cocktails periodically. To drink, we got the blueberry mojito and one of their specialty cocktails (I can't remember the name but it was tequila based and had strawberry in it. We thought they were pretty good! For appetizers, we got the seafood spinach dip and the BBQ blue crab claws. The spinach dip included crab meat, crawfish, and shrimp. I think this was my first time trying crawish (technically) and I really loved the spinach dip. It was my favorite thing I tried. The BBQ blue crab claws were also really good. They weren't exactly what I was expecting (especially because I did not read the description haha) but that was also really one of the best things about trying different spots in NOLA: seeing their spin on dishes. When I read BBQ, I thought of almost like a BBQ sauce like on BBQ chicken wings. This was way better than that! It was a BBQ butter sauce which was delicious! We got the red snapper and lamb chops for our entrees. I loved that the red snapper was fried (just enough for a little bit of crunch on the outside. I also really liked the cilantro lime oil it was in. The lamb chops were good but my friend wasn't asked what temperature she wanted it cooked at and usually when that happens, I believe restaurants do deviate from the pre-set temperature choice they choosd, which is usually well done. Our personal preference would have been on more of the medium side but the flavor on it was still good. And the service was great!

Yelp
Was really looking forward to trying this restaurant since I had heard so many great things about it. The best thing about my experience is that I did not wait long to be seated or served. The worst thing is that the food was barely warm and really lacked flavor and the price did not match the portion size. We had the sweet potato beignets and the catfish and grits. The catfish and grits again, lacked flavor and the piece of fish was kind of small. The beignets were good but for some reason, I was expecting them to be better than what they were since I had heard so much about them. As a New Orleans native, I was disappointed. I don't see myself going back whenever I am back in town.

Yelp
Pro tip: Definitely make reservations for Monday because it gets packed, and the wait can be pretty long if you don't. We had a reservation for two, and our table was ready right when we walked in--smooth sailing from the start! The service was on point (as always at any Morrow's spot), and we even got to meet the manager, who was super friendly. I went for the mimosa, lamb chops and grits, and for dessert? The banana foster bread pudding. Every single thing was fantastic - no notes! The only catch? The music is a little loud, so it can be hard to hear your crew. But honestly, the playlist was so good, we ended up dancing and vibing along, making it a whole experience! Perfect way to kick off the week!

Yelp
This restaurant is beautiful! They have both indoor and outside seating. I'd recommend making reservations before coming because the wait time can be a bit long. For each table they can only do one check. I believe for a party of 4 or more 18% gratuity is automatically added. The music was great! Definitely made everyone's experience better while waiting on food in the company of the people in my group. The staff is extremely nice and knowledgeable. I ordered the Monday Beets salad with added chicken and it was very flavorful! The drinks were nice and I'd come back again for their happy hour! Everyone else enjoyed their food and we came twice on our trip because the vibes were great!

Yelp
I saw this place by many people on TikTok, so I had to give it a try. It is missing a star due to the arrival. Once we arrived there was a sign that said if you made a reservation stand on this side and if you did not make a reservation stand on this side. It was small wording, kind of hard to read. We made the reservation, and another group of ladies stood on the other side because they didn't make a reservation. We all stood there for about 10 minutes as we watched the staff move around in front of us and some were standing there talking to each other and no one ever greeted us. Me and another lady walked over to them to find out what we supposed to do and how long we have to wait to get attention. Finally with a reservation being made we were able to get seated quickly and the lady who didn't make a reservation was told it would take 45 minutes. Once we got to the table, we noticed the table was shaky unbalanced. Now as soon as the waitress came over, she also noticed it was unbalanced and she quickly fixed it. That was thankful. I agree with the people on TixTok in regard to the food. The lamb chop & grits was really good, and my sister liked the chicken and waffles. The blueberry mimosa was so good. I wanted the mimosa flight but the cost was $30 then after I saw another customer order the flight it was worth it there are four tall glasses of mimosa not small sample glasses. Now if I ever get to go here again with my group of 6 ladies, we will order the Mimosa tower. I saw two groups of guest order it and it was such a nice look and a great amount for a group. Great Spot Monday!!!

Yelp
Looks: the place was super cute. A bit small but nothing to complain abt. Service: we're seating quickly and the waitress was efficient. She was polite and attended us so well. Drinks: this was the loss of a star. The mixes they offered were not that good. The one with sage was so strong in sage barely drinkable. Food: the dishes were BOMB! The étouffée hit the spot and so did the rice and beans. The sweet potato beignet was the best I have ever had. I am not Huge beignet fan(at least the traditional was) but these converted me. So good. Rating: 4/5 do recommend and will be back

Yelp
Frozen margaritas were amazing. The blackened red fish was amazing. The chicken crackling was amazing. The shrimp was ok but only because I don't eat shrimp like that and I'm not sure what makes shrimp amazing lol. My wife said it was good though. The food was really good and all the servers we spoke to was really friendly You will have to split the check up for the table yourself if you are going with another couple or a group.

Yelp
I visited here for the first time on Wednesday during happy hour. I found street parking across the street. We were able to get an indoor table right away. It wasn't crowded at all. The vibes weren't really like a happy hour vibe but it was a cool atmosphere. I liked the music and the setup. The staff were friendly and the lady who was assigned our table was very sweet. We weren't rushed out. I ordered the dirty rice which was very tasty. I ordered the boudin egg rolls and those were ok. I also ordered the sweet potato beignets which were delicious and the blueberry mojito which I also enjoyed. The person who dined with me said that the gumbo was delicious.

Yelp
The atmosphere was on point at Monday. They had a great playlist playing the whole time, which made for a comfortable and relaxed dining experience. People working service were responsive and kind. Favorite dish that we ordered was the side of fried catfish and the wonderfully creamy and spiced Mac and cheese. The ettoufee was pretty solid in flavor. Sweet potato beignets are good if you like sweet potato pie. We came during happy hour, so I got a cocktail half off (normally $14) and they had discounts on some of the appetizers. The dishes were pretty pricey for the portion size we got, but for about 62 dollars after tax and tip for a dinner for two, we both left satiated. I was just expecting grander portions for the price. Overall, pretty good experience.

Yelp
So I would like to start off by saying the young lady at the bar had wonderful customer service. She immediately greeted us, made us water and took our drink orders. We were a walk-in party of three so the bar was the only place that we could be seated. As far as the food, I will say the chicken crackling was absolutely delicious! Seasoned and fried perfectly. I got the crawfish étouffée. The flavors of the étouffée were pretty good the catfish was also pretty good, but it wasn't anything exceptional. I also ordered (not pictured here) a side of macaroni and cheese. I'm going to be honest that was not good. It tasted like cold Velveeta so I ended up sending that back. My friend who was with me also got a side of macaroni and cheese, and she said hers was cold too. Overall the food was pretty good but I will say I have had better food in New Orleans so that's why I gave it three stars. The only 5/5 for me was that chicken crackling and I may go back today and do a to go order just for that.
