Tres Hermanos - The Nations

This was my first and last time ordering from this restaurant. I ordered the Peruvian chicken platter and found a piece of plastic in my refried beans, which meant I couldn’t eat them. I also ordered the brisket enchilada, but there was no brisket inside, so I couldn’t eat that either. On top of that, the food arrived cold and the chicken was dry. I was really excited to try this place, but it was a complete disappointment and a waste of money.

My husband and I heard (funnily enough) from Reddit that one of Taqueria del Sol’s longtime employees had purchased the spot and kept it largely the same! My mom and I would come here all the time when she lived in town, and she and I are both very happy Tres Hermanos is keeping the vibe alive! The employees are knowledgeable and super sweet, the owner is present and friendly - genuinely cannot recommend checking them out enough! Amongst a sea of taco places in Nashville, Tres Hermanos is standing out. Get the skinny margarita and thank me later!

Absolutely loved this place! The menu may be simple, but every dish we tried was absolutely delicious—fresh, flavorful, and clearly made with care. Sometimes less is more, and this spot proves it! The atmosphere was warm and inviting, and the service was top-notch. The staff were extremely helpful and courteous, making sure we had everything we needed without being overbearing. It’s the kind of place you instantly feel comfortable in. Highly recommend to anyone looking for amazing Mexican food—this one’s a hidden gem!

Amazing food. They have some really good classics and also some unique items that are great! The staff is so friendly and everything is fairly priced. And as a cheese connoisseur, let me just say, do NOT miss out on the queso. It’s the best I’ve had in Nashville.

We were definitely let down on our visit. The frozen margaritas were one of the worst we have ever had. The food was just so-so. Lastly, how can you have a Mexican restaurant with no Mexicans. We know good Mexican food and this ain't it!

Great place to go for a chill hang and good food! My favorite things on the menu have been the cauliflower buffalo taco, green chicken enchiladas, and the carnitas tostadas (it’s a special so if you see them don’t miss out on trying them). The drinks are also delicious and fun! And of course, can’t forget about their amazing cheese dip…I’ll take 14 of them! No, but seriously. 10/10 recommend!

Amazing tacos, super fresh ingredients, and fast, friendly service. The staff is so inviting and all around awesome! The tortilla soup is soo yummy, and the homemade tortillas take everything to the next level. Can’t wait to come back! 🌮🤩

This is my favorite restaurant in Nashville. The food is outstanding in reasonably priced. Great unique, Mexican food. Salsa Trio is the best I’ve ever had enchiladas so terrific.
