Tresetti's World Caffe

Our office hosted our annual dinner for 17 people. We sat at a long table in front of the wine wall. Our servers kept up with even our late comers and were pleasant and upbeat. Our food was delicious. Many of us ordered the pistachio crusted salmon, peppercorn filet mignon, and seafood pasta. We enjoyed coconut prawns, roasted garlic and brie, crab cakes and calamari with our cocktails.

We had a lovely anniversary dinner here. The staff was so nice and the food was amazing. The chocolate silk pie and I shared a beautiful moment together. Will come back.

When you walk into Tresetti’s, they greet you and seat you either into bar area, or dine in areas. The lighting in there is perfect! Beautiful decor! Staff is fantastic! The owner comes out to greet you at each table, she’s so nice! Family owned restaurant, her son is the chef! They have been in that location for 30 years! The food and drinks are absolutely amazing! Especially the espresso martini…magnificent! Heart of downtown Modesto, CA. 927 11th Street!

I really like the vibe of this place. The appetizers we got were very good. I got the tack of lamb which was ok. The meat is not as soft and juicy as other places, I’ve even had better ones at cheaper places like Wildfire. NY steak is chewy. The filet was very good. Got the burrata and crabcakes and those were very good. Overall this place for the price you expect the food to be better.

Went in on. Thursday night for a last minute dinner and had an amazing time! The service the food and ambiance were impeccable! I had the Cajun pasta and it was divine. My husband had the wagyu burger off the bar menu and it was very filling and yummy. We will be back!!

The food, drinks, atmosphere, and customer service are all excellent. There's plenty of street or garage parking. We were seated right away and well taken care of. There are plenty of vegetarian and seafood options as well. I highly recommend the burrata! The restaurant includes both indoor and outdoor seating as well. I was there for my birthday so they offered a free dessert of my choice. I went with the carrot cake, which was probably my least favorite food item of the night but it wasn't terrible! If you're looking for a "fancy" dinner in Modesto that won't break the bank, I'd recommend this restaurant.

All of dishes we had were lip smacking. I am now a fan of the Basil Pesto Ravioli it 😍. Crab cakes and quesadillas were equally awesome and filling. Burrata was good too. If you ever come across this place do try these dishes. Server was kind enough to suggest us according to our preferences.

The food I thought was great, our waitress was friendly and right on par. Good portions and tasty, my drink was Great nice and strong not water down. We enjoyed our visit.

Solid spot to get a bite for any occasion! Burger and sandwiches are always a hit, their fries are crispy, and their service is awesome. They are attentive!!

Visited on 12/6/25 before the holiday symphony at Gallo Center for the Arts - just an easy one block walk. Parking in the adjacent garage was convenient. The menu offered Cajun-inspired dishes; I had the shrimp gumbo, which was spicy and flavorful, reminiscent of New Orleans. My mother enjoyed the fried calamari appetizer as her entrée - perfectly cooked and delicious. The ambience was upscale and classy, and the staff allowed us to dine at a relaxed pace. Overall, an excellent experience and a great choice for a pre-show lunch.

First time trying this spot. Went here with family after celebration a family member graduating. The vibes were immaculate. Very fancy and classy. The service was top tier. Waitress was super helpful and patience with everyone. She recommended really tasty dishes. She was awesome. The food was really good! I ordered the fish & chips entree. The fish was crispy and flaky. The fish was seasoned really well and the tartar sauce that comes with it, really put everything together. The fries were good too. Fries were cut thinly and seasoned well. Overall I give this restaurant a solid 4/5 star review. It was a good spot for lunch in the area!

We went in for dessert... had their version of affogato. It came out in the bowl restaurants serve french onion soup in. It was espresso soup; the flavor of the espresso wasn't good and the vanilla ice cream they decided to plop in didn't make it taste any better.

I have dined here at least a dozen times and it is, hands down, one of the best places to eat in Modesto. Excellent service, always coming by the table and making sure we have everything we need, and with a genuine happy demeanor. Classy ambiance and inviting. The bar seating area is no different. Attentive bar tender and is always down for chit chat! The food is amazing! Whether appetizers or a full meal, you won't be disappointed...also a great drink selection!

What wonderful service and food! We walked in, without an advanced warning, asking for a table for eight, right at the end of the lunch rush. They were able to accommodate us without a hitch! The menu was delightful and able to meet all of our food wishes. We ordered calamari for the table and it was delicious. Our food orders ran the gamut from salads to burgers to sandwiches. Everyone loved their food. The ambience is nice, upscale and hip. Our server was on top of it and made us feel special. Her menu recommendations were terrific. I appreciate that she was even willing to split the check, although it wasn't necessary since we paid on a single bill. Can't wait to come back, next time we're in town for the FM trade show.

Such a cute restaurant! From the ivy framed doorway as you walk in, to the ledges lined with globes and walls of wine, such a great ambiance. We walked in a little after lunchtime with a party of 8 and surprisingly, it wasn't crowded so we were seated immediately. Our server was very attentive and took great care of us. We started with the calamari, and the breading was seasoned perfectly. I had the southwest chicken salad, their top ordered lunch according to our server, and I see why. It had a nice light flavor. If I am ever back in Modesto and visit again, I am going to try their burgers, my table mate had one and it looked fantastic,

Came for drinks after a long day and it was made instantly better! Great service, clean bar, nice atmosphere, Melanie the bartender made my day. Will come back to try the food that looked great too!

We visited Tresetti's again last night for an early dinner before Symphony at the Gallo. We were a group of eight and like to choose a convenient location for dinner and parking. Belinda was our server and she is delightful, knowledgeable and efficient. We ordered our wine and other beverages, water and bread was served and we quickly perused the menu. Since we visit fairly often we are familiar with the offerings. I ordered the smaller Caesar salad with anchovies and my husband had the NE clam chowder, both delicious. Four of us ordered the pistachio crusted salmon, a favorite of mine and always perfectly prepared. Two had the lamb shank, one the pork chop and one the seafood pasta. My husband has ordered the seafood pasta before and was happy to see a more generous serving of seafood this time. One of the lamb dishes needed to be sent back to be heated more thoroughly. Besides that issue, we were all pleased with our meals. Service is always punctual and professional, they know we come in early and are on a time frame. That is a necessary component and has never been an issue. Cons: There is rarely, if ever, a special menu offering and the menu hasn't changed in a couple of years. That is truly one reason our group (typically 6-12 people) don't choose Tresetti's more often. It would be lovely to have more seasonal items from which to choose throughout the year. The wine offered "by the glass" could benefit from a few more choices. A good pinot noir such as Meiomi or J Vineyards, would be welcome. Their wine offered "by the bottle" is quite adequate.

Everything about this dish was meant to be savored piece by piece don't eat it too fast or you'll miss the experience.

I had to return to this place as the service is excellent and the food is excellent. I ordered the seafood pasta with gumbo. It was extremely good and seasoned perfect. If you are in the area of Modesto, CA try this place for the warm atmosphere and friendly environment. Enjoy this place is Good!

Food is overpriced, took way too long and was mediocre at best. Our waitress was nice but you could tell she was rushed and trying to manage too many tables. We had to ask repeatedly for water and refills. What really upset us is we got the check before we were even done with dinner. When we asked if we could order dessert we were told that was not possible because our table had already been promised to another waiting group. We were there for less than an hour and paid $200+ for three people. Absolutely infuriating, will not return or recommend. Maybe it was an off night but there are better places in Modesto that treat customers right.

Amazing food great portions size, and variety to choose from bar menu or dinner menu. Drinks are tasty Jessica is a wonderful bartender/ server always has a smile.

Favorite place for cocktails! Back in the day...It was a place where everyone knew your name (during my college days that is) now, it's one of our fav spots to go to with low lighting that creates a warm vibe on a cold night. I don't know everyone anymore.. but we always see a familiar face or two. What else can I say... it's just civilized without a chance for any "man" fights over women. The servers & bartenders are consistently nice and greet you with a smile. Nice age range and clean bathrooms. Yep.. I actually care about that! Lol. and it is still locally owned!! Forgot to take a pic of the chicken quesadilla, it had a lot of chicken meat and was a perfect "night cap" after a very very long 3 hour movie.

Really disappointed by this place after reading such rave reviews. Tresetti's tries hard to be a gourmet establishment, but it's not there. The flavors and portions were lacking, but come with a hefty price. We started off with the burrata. It came with toasted bread, an assortment of berries, and a balsamic glaze. Sadly, this was the best part of our meal. Tresetti's also charges if you ask for more than 2 plates of bread, so beware. I ordered the chicken cordon bleu. It wasn't bad, but wasn't that good either. It was a teeny portion for $28.50. My friend got the lamb ossobuco. She said the lamb was dry, and there was barely any of it. My other buddy got the grilled pork chop. It was also on the smaller side and "tasted okay". $120 later, we were barely full and from our mediocre and small meal. We won't be returning.

The place is very cute and clean, and offers an affordable, upscale experience. There were many things I could nitpick, but overall, it doesn't compare with nearby restaurants such as Dewz and Galletto. Our waitress didn't seem to be able to multitask either, and didn't take our order until we had been sat for about 20 minutes. When we finally placed our order, they had "just" ran out of the Grilled Barramundi. This place is okay if you're willing to sacrifice decent ambiance for mediocre food and drinks, or if you're tired of going to the same places in town. Even then, it will take a while for me to get tired enough to come back.

Same menus for years! I have favorites and will be back regularly. Above all is Kristy, you can count on her.

Celebrating an anniversary and they made it so special. The burrata and crab cakes were absolutely delectable. Ordered the Cajun Alfredo pasta... 10/10. Boyfriend ordered the New York strip. Potatoes excellent. Martinis were the start of the show. Will be going back.

This restaurant has a fantastic upscale burger, and their fish and chips are really good. We love the happy people working there Christi and Angela. They're the best. The restaurant is very charming with world globes all over the place.

All I have to say is fantastic! My sister hosted my surprise 40th birthday with about 40 friends and family members. I would say any large gathering with that amount of food would be a hit or miss on flavor and execution. I will pause you there...the food was delicious and hot. Proper timing of food to be served with a large party was professionally and perfectly timed. The service was kind and very attentive. The chefs of the kitchen "bravo!" Beautiful done! Thank you again for making my surprise special and delicious. No one complained. They complemented the servers and staff on how great the food and service was. Trust me...I've been in food service all my life and this one was an A+++! Thank you again. We will all be back! Side note. Drinks were on point! Thank you again.

Great foot, service and location next to the Gallo Center. My wife enjoyed the Marshmallow Lemon Drop and I love the seafood pasta.

This is my wife's favorite spot because she loves the green salad. @ The owner - when will your chef be able to cook a medium steak. Am I the only one who gets over cooked steaks. Take the chef down to sizzlers and maybe the Cooke there could teach him what a medium steak is. Overcooked again. Yelpers - Please chime in. !! Good ambiance.

First timer and def not a last timer! Place was very busy, no seating but bar available. OMG!! Definitely not bar food!! Scrumptious coconut shrimp, pineapple carnitas tacos - on point no extra fat fresh tortillas, creamy raviolis that I can't stop raving about!! Great friendly service, clean bathroom (important to me also reflects the kitchen) I'm an ex server. Looking forward to trying the rest of the menu, Buon appetito!!!

My daughter took me for my birthday. Amazing food, service was spectacular and the ambiance was magical. Will definitely return with friends and family in the near future.

2nd ever visiting... It would have received at 3-4 stars as the food was good.. was not great, but it was good. The service, on the other hand, could have definitely been better. Had to continue to ask for refills, had asked twice for my soup, and also for simple bread. We had a large group and, of course, was forced to pay the 20% tip, which they were worth, maybe 5%, the kitchen should have gotten the rest... I won't be returning, unfortunately.

Really like the Burrata and southwest chicken salad, super fresh and well balanced. Gumbo was a tad too salty for me.

Had a great night celebrating my birthday at Tressettis! Making reservations for 14 was no problem and they sat our group in the wine room. Made our way to the bar and the espresso martinis and old fashions are always a must! Jessica was our server and her outgoing attitude while helping us fit right in with our group! Guests enjoyed the chicken codon bleu, salmon, Cajun Mac and cheese as for me the birthday girl I had my favorite Cesar salad and garlic Brie! It paired well with the cab and Malbec wines we ordered. The joke about the "cake" was a hit and everyone enjoyed the pumpkin cheesecake. Today when I called Christi was super friendly when she answered the phone!

My wife and I love Tresetti's! We have been coming here for almost a decade. Tonight we celebrated her birthday and Valentines Day. I had the Ossobuco, she had the chicken Cordon Blue. Food was amazing! The polenta base for the lamb? Fabulous! We did have one issue. For the first time, service was not great. The hostess seemed annoyed we were there and bolted as soon as we got to the table. Our server was not very attentive and I had to attract her attention several times when we needed anything. I understand it was busy, but we have eaten here a number of times when it was busy and always had great service. Tonight!? Not so great. I hope it was just an off night. We will be back for the amazing food.

Wonderful dinner Saturday night before going to see a play at Gallo. The restaurant was cool, quiet (where we were sitting) and tables arranged so you weren't involved in neighbors conversations. Our server was attentive and the food was delicious!

Had reservations for a large group here, and were seated on time. Everyone food was great and came out at the same time. Waitress was great and service was amazing. Gathered in the bar area after dinner, relaxing atmosphere. Love this restaurant.

Tresetti's Restaurant is located in Downtown Modesto on 927 11th Street. Right off the bat, Tresetti's has a warm, inviting vibe. It's a great place to have a fancy dinner with your co-workers, and definitely a great place to bring a date. What got me in the doors, was a particular menu item.. I started with an appetizer, the Calamari. They were hot and crispy, but it's a sharing portion. I personally would like to see more sauce options, but their coral island cocktail sauce hits the spot. The price isn't bad, $10.00 is a great price for this Calamari and even better when shared with a friend. When I read the menu outside the establishment, I knew I had to try their Korean Fried Tofu. When I think of a vegan/vegetarian dish, I think of restaurants in the Bay Area. I was not expecting for one of my new favorite tofu dishes to come from Modesto! This meal blew me away, not just with the quality, but also the flavors. The tofu with the pineapple and chipotle yuzu aioli made me savor every bite. The green rice is fantastic, I like the minty aftertaste. I like the culinary surprises this dish has. I was expecting the yuzu aioli to be spicy, but it wasn't in my opinion. I am not 100% sure if this dish is vegan because I don't know how the chipotle yuzu aioli is made, but it's for sure vegetarian. You can always ask. That being said, this is the dish I will be recommending people who are open to trying something new. What a great place in Modesto, come here and try it out!

Really good food; really bad service. Not welcomed when we walked in. Food took 50 minutes to get to our table in a restaurant that is hardly crowded. Advice: welcome all guests and improve efficiency.

TASTY OR WASTEY? Mostly, Tasty!!! This place has the best salad dressing in the valley. The crème brûlée with extra strawberries is so good, and, a good portion. Once you go in 2-3xs they welcome you like a close friend. The entire staff is very welcoming. Service is great! The only downside to this place are the usual drunks, cussers, loud belligerent cast members, that often forget there are other patrons that go there for a nice quiet dinner. Your best bet is to s to go before 5 pm or after 8pm. Other than that, the food is pretty good. I do recommend.

Very elegant restaurant. We went here for my mom's birthday and the waitress was so nice and welcoming. The salmon was delicious! They have a great selection of wine. The night life is fun, the bar gets quite lively, and the bartender makes a delicious lemon drop.

Our lunch at Tresetti's was outstanding. We started with the always marvelous crab cakes. They're consistently great! The gumbo was scrumptious with delicious flavors and was full of chicken, sausage, onions and peppers. I added the blackened shrimp and that made it perfect. My husband had the fish and chips. It too was delicious. There were 3 good sized pieces of fish, plenty of tartar sauce, coleslaw and tasty garlic fries. It was a substantial meal. Kristi was our server. She's excellent, efficient, cheerful and personable. She always does a great job. The atmosphere was relaxing and welcoming. We look forward to returning to Tresetti's very soon.

Service was perfect. Melinda our server was very attentive and kept the drinks coming. The cocktails were amazing. It was fun trying new ones. We started with the coconut prawns and calamari. Delicious! The salads were great too. The seafood pasta was very plentiful, the pistachio crusted salmon was to die for, very moist, cordon blu entree with mashed potatoes and the Ny steak were cooked with perfection. Great flavor! Ending with the crème brûlée and chocolate silk cake, was the perfect ending. We will be back again!

We had a fabulous dinner starting with some delicious appetizers! Our server was great ! She gave us great recommendations and was very attentive ! We started with the Squash Fritters and Roasted Garlic and Brie! They were both delish ! I ordered the Osso Bucco for my entree and my husband ordered the Salmon ! We enjoyed both ! We will definitely be back

Expect people that come in after you to get their drinks before you, and a very rude blonde bartender. She's been rude every time I've been there.

You can never go wrong with this beautiful restaurant and it's people who make it so much more. We love everyone here and they always make our experience memorable. Thank you all!
