The Biggest Las Vegas Restaurant and Bar Closures to Know | Eater Vegas

"In the Forum Shops at Caesars Palace I saw Trevi Italian Restaurant as a centrally located, ancient-Rome–themed spot with tables strewn across the faux cobblestone walkway, fallen-column benches under the painted sky and in the shadow of the Fountain of the Gods — a location-driven draw rather than an acclaimed pasta or gelato destination — before it abruptly closed." - Janna Karel

We were three people and ordered a pizza and pasta. The person who was taking order insisted the pizza is small and you need to order more and made is order another pizza. But the size of pizza was good enough for 2 people. We went up a stuffing ourself. No crowd at all. Ambiance was good inside. Pizza tasted good.

I don’t usually review but feel I must do this public service. The pasta was terrible. The sauce must be from a can and the pasta was definitely not fresh. I am not a picky eater and have never really returned food but I could not eat this pasta. The sauce tasted bitter. I also ordered the steak in wine sauce. It was tender but no flavour. The waiter was friendly and apologetic. I felt bad for him. They still charged me for the pasta even though I hardly ate any of it. Do yourself a favour and avoid this place!

I should have definitely read the reviews before going in. We wanted sushi and were told that this restaurant was the same and the sushi bar next door. We were able to order sushi from next door. which was awesome, however the steak from this restaurant was not very flavorful and when we went to pay the bill the waiter repeated over and over about tipping in cash. As we paid the bill we were going to pull out cash but the waiter automatically said "thank you for my tip" sarcastically, therefore we did not leave a tip due to his sarcasm. Would recommend the sushi restaurant next door, not this restaurant.

They lured us in saying that they are different because they have large portions unlike other restaurants. And when I got my food the portion was so small and they did nothing about it . Also the food was tasteless!!! We also got pizza that tasted like nothing .

Service was good, the server was polite and had good recommendations. Since we had dietary restrictions, they were accommodating. However we were slyly offered the bread which is complimentary in most restaurants and were charged for it. We were also charged for the water which, was not mentioned on the menu, and it’s not for bottled water but just regular water in a glass bottle. When confronted they were like it is what it is, I made it a point to inform the people around me who were all very surprised. The reviews were right, it’s a tourist trap!

Absolutely love this place. The gentleman working here was so passionate you would think he was the owner. We went in to the bar for a coffee and he showed us through to the restaurant part. Coffee was fantastic and the brioche was sooo fresh.

I would not recommend this restaurant. Even if they try to persuade you to come inside, it’s best to avoid it. The promotions advertised outside, which they initially agree to honor, end up being double the price when the bill arrives. To make matters worse, they attempted to treat us like thieves, even though we had already provided the cash to pay for our bill. On top of that, the limoncello they serve has an artificial flavoring. Based on my experience, the negative reviews are accurate. I suggest finding another restaurant in the area to spend your money.

My first ever 1 star review.. Got lured in off the street by a man claiming there’s free wifi and aircon inside.. it’s an old fan blowing hot air around. Should have left at that point. Side note, I usually check reviews before going to a restaurant but couldn’t as I had no reception. Hence going in when he said free wifi except it didn’t work. Not surprised at all to see overall 2 stars when I’ve come to share my review. We ordered the “cold cuts” for entre to which parts of the cheese had furry MOULD on it and no it was not blue cheese. We also had a carbonara which despite being drenched in some kind of bad vegetable oil, had no flavour. I ordered the calamari which had absolutely no flavour at all. No one came around so I had to get up to ask for salt which still did not help the bland dishes. Fish not fresh. Don’t waste your time or money, worst meal we’ve had in the past 2 months of travelling in Europe.
