First time dining here, and it was pretty good! We were the first to sit down for lunch at noon, and the restaurant offered a decent-sized menu with plenty of options as I was in the mood for dim sum but my boyfriend wanted Chinese dishes.
For appetizers, we ordered dim sum, starting with the steamed BBQ pork buns - they were huge and a favorite. The chicken dumplings in chili sauce were another hit, and the turnip cakes rounded out our dim sum selections nicely.
For our main course, we had pork fried rice, shredded beef, and a custom-made dish of chicken with bok choy, beans, mushrooms, and cabbage. There was a slight mix-up with the shredded beef - we were initially given pork, which was actually tastier than the beef. Despite this, all the food was delicious.
The only downside was the timing of the dishes. The chicken dish came out first, followed by the dim sum, and then, after a while, the shredded beef and fried rice. However, the service was attentive, and our glasses were always filled with water.
The restaurant was clean, and the overall experience was positive. We'll definitely be back for those BBQ pork buns and chicken dumplings!
