10 Best Restaurant Parklets in San Francisco | Eater SF

"I enjoyed the softly lit parklet at the Michelin-starred spot known for dim sum–inspired small plates, a space filled with spiky green leaves and paper lanterns floating overhead; chef-owner Stuart Brioza collaborated with Levi Hunt of Cookline to take over three parking spots, the length of both State Bird and sister restaurant the Progress." - Becky Duffett

At the beach for Labor Day weekend when we saw an injured bird. Called Tri-state rescue and within the hour Laura came to rescue it. The nicest lady who you can tell definitely loves what she does! So grateful for her coming out on a holiday weekend!!

Beautiful Horned Owl was clipped by a vehicle. My wife and daughter did everything they possible could to save God's beautiful owl.

These people are amazing. Beth the volunteer that helped me over the phone is extremely passionate with birds. I was crying. My family’s glue trap was left outside accidentally. And of caught a poor bird. They had the clinic ready and waiting for this beautiful creature. I Hope it’s ok. That’s what I named it. Thank you Guys

Nice way back down a wooded road perfect area for rehabilitation on all bird species, the drop off was very simple and the woman that took the baby cat bird was very nice and seemed to care about the wild birds that they take in . I'm sure I will be seeing them again.

We arrived after hours to drop off a seemingly injured blue jay to the facility. We had it in a cage with some food that we could muster up and some water and blankets. To my surprise even though the facility was supposed to be closed two and a half hours prior a nice female worker came out and grabbed the bird. She invited us in and asked us questions and even took time to answer my sometimes stubborn 10 year olds questions regarding the birds in the facility and the bird we brought in. She let us know that there was no major injuries and that he only looked dehydrated. What a wonderful resource.

Rick quickly came to rescue a screech owl that was injured in our backyard, he was so friendly and clearly loved helping birds in need.

I called about an injured Canada goose that I saw after-hours on my way home from school. I received a call back the next day saying that someone picked it up and discovered its injured companion. Very nice facility

Pond goose had a treble fishing hook embedded in his leg and under his body, he was desperately trying to get it out and wasnt able to walk well....contacted Tri-State Bird Rescue & Research Wildlife rescue service in New Castle County, Delaware and spoke to Bill who asked for pics/ video of injured bird....within an hour got a call from Mary Ann, a volunteer, and she was able to capture the goose. It will be transported to the rescue center for further care. KUDOS to this organization and the dedicated volunteers with such a quick response!!
