"The classic Westlake coffee shop offers all sorts of coffees from single-origin to microlots, and bites from Rosen’s Bagels, Tacodeli, and Quack’s. The colorful shop has comfy armchairs, tables for two, a high top for laptop warriors, and a private room for groups or meetings. Or take it to go in person or order from Uber Eats and GrubHub." - Nadia Chaudhury, Erin Russell

"There are few non-chain places to get coffee in Westlake, but Trianon is one of them. After moving to a new location in 2018, the coffee shop has a menu in the works, too." - Erin Russell

Google
A hidden gem Literally, this local gem made a move a few years ago just down the street from their previous location. Trianon is now hidden behind a strip mall off of bee cave and Westbank road. Thankfully, the coffee and atmosphere are reminiscent of their previous glory. I enjoyed a nice matcha latte of fair strength. If you want to enjoy a nice cup or get some hard to find coffee beans, including gesha, this is the place to go.

Google
Nice and rustic place with homely feel. What I liked is that they have a microwave to reheat coffee to the warmth level that we like. This microwave feature is what I miss in Starbucks. Here yuu can sample coffee before ordering. Saw lots of people of all the ages enjoying the experience.

Google
Offer, best public wifi speeds in town, lots of comfy seating, outlets, meeting rooms, variety of fresh coffees, and more! Highly recommend this location which moved down the street a few blocks years ago from their other location, two restrooms they keep clean, and a friendly customer service crew! Highly recommend this place if ever in the area and they have hard to find Clean energy drink flavors too !

Google
This is one of the nicer cafés in Westlake, which I generally do not like I don’t feel the good vibe there but here I do. The service is wonderful. Bagels are great muffins are delicious. Their coffee is just very good and there’s enough little spots in the small small space that have outlets, which is always a pleasure.

Evan Hawn

Google
They have an excellent variety of good coffee beans. Their vanilla lattes, chais, and cappuccinos are very tasty. A variety of bagels and cream cheeses are here. Good pastries, & the staff is great! The owner is very easygoing. Lots of interesting people come. It's a great atmosphere for studying. Conference & private rooms are available online. It's a good atmosphere for writers & innovators to drink coffee, write, & create. Private enough for celebrities as well. The iced Macha lattes are delish! The organic Uganda is delish. The warm fall Macha is very good with some vanilla spice. Chai with 2% milk brings out the flavor nicely.

Google
The coffee was great and the environment was EXCELLENT. I had a small meeting with some coworkers and we were able to sit in small, comfortable room. Will definitely visit again!

Lexi Beriswill

Google
Very intimate and homey. The service is always friendly, and the drinks are consistently delicious. I would highly recommend the Chagaccino and the Toffee Nut Iced Latte. They also have incredible bagels that are crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. My favorite is the rosemary Sea Salt Bagel with Lemon Basil Cream Cheese 🤤

Sarah Phillips

Google
Trianon had the smoothest coffee profile I’ve ever tasted- it was perfectly balanced and luscious. I ordered a large sea salt caramel toffee latte and was blown away by its flavor and the fantastic price. The service was excellent as well, and the building is really cute. Trianon is my new favorite coffee shop!

Yelp
I loved the aesthetic of this coffee shop! Very modern with lots of different spaces to gather with friend or work /study in a space by yourself. They had the option GM to take beans by the lb home which I thought was really cool. The staff was friendly. The coffee to me wasn't the best . I tried 2 different lattes. 1.iced toffee nut latte- wasn't good tasted like it had almond flavoring and kinda fruity and watered down- not my thing. 2. I'm not sure of the name but it was a latte with mushroom in it I ordered it hot, it was alright. Tasted just like plain coffee with steamed milk. I was looking for something with a full body flavor and creamy. I wouldn't order either item again but if I'm the area I would give it another chance and maybe pick up some Bean to bring home.

Yelp
I live north but make it a point to stop here when I'm south. My favorite and go to coffee shop on this side of town! They have so many wonderful flavor options. Cardamom is a hard one to find but they make it beautifully. I also love that I can get breakfast tacos here! The inside is adorable with plenty of seating. And the staff are super friendly and patient while you try to choose from all the delicious options!

Carolina B.

Yelp
Did not enjoy the iced coffee at all. In fact, it was sadly thrown away after just a few sips. We aren't originally from the area, so it was difficult to find at first. It's behind the shopping center in its own small building. I'll give it another try when in the area again, but for now I'll keep searching for our favorite coffee spot in & around the area.

Teri K.

Yelp
Great selection of coffees - roasted in house. I appreciate the GF food items. Service always friendly! They also offer loyalty points/perks as well as areas to reserve for working. Great local shop

Linda B.

Yelp
Great coffee , tacos, snacks and freshly roasted coffee beans. They also have a private room for hanging out or working on your laptop.

Rekha A.

Yelp
The people who work there are all super entitled and rude except for the nice man who makes most of the drinks. He's honestly the only nice person there. The chubby lady with black hair behind the counter is probably the worst. Today, I asked which tacos were available and she said all. I ordered one and she said, "oh, all except that one." So I ordered another one. That one magically also wasn't available! Then she was annoyed when I asked her which one was available. Then, for my drink, she just gave me hot water and milk rather than the tea I ordered. Stuff there is normally okay but the attitudes today for me were the last straw. I'd rather go to Starbucks.

Grant C.

Yelp
Wow! Honestly, literally the best espresso I have ever tasted, no joke. I always get iced lattes with some flavor, but Trianon would be the only exception to this rule. I could drink anything they have as is, that's how delicious I think their espresso is! The drinks are always made quickly, and as fresh as can be! They have a convenient bar where you order with simple syrup, honey, cinnamon, and sugar, which I always take advantage of since their simple syrup tastes just like vanilla! I have never had a bad experience here, the baristas are so kind and are happy to be there, and I love seeing them interact with usuals! It's also helpful they have breakfast tacos in the morning, and plenty of pastries! I love Trianon, and it's aswesome it's such an Austin classic, everyone needs to come here more often!

Erica G.

Yelp
There is nothing exceptional to say about this coffee joint other than the location. I ordered a latte with half and half. Solid cup of coffee and the service was pretty quick. Ambiance is very clean and overall feels like several of the other hundreds of coffee shops I have been to. Nothing memerable.. just an overall okay cup of "Joe"!

Amy B.

Yelp
Checked out Trianon twice in the last 2 weeks, and found lots to love. They are conveniently located on Bee Cave in Westlake, and there's plenty of parking. The shop is fairly small and intimate and the tables seemed to all fill up fast. I met some friends there, and not being a coffee drinker, I checked out all the alternative options, which were plenty. The aroma of coffee is STRONG in the air and maybe a little overwhelming. When I got home, I had to launder my clothes immediately because they were saturated with coffee scent. Other than that, I would recommend Trianon for meeting friends, and also for doing a little online work.

Lauren H.

Yelp
This was my first time coming here. The place is cute- kind of a mix of weird Austin and Pinterest. The chairs and tables are a bit hodgepodge. The leather living room style chairs are definitely a bit older and slightly run down but the tile on the walls is super cute. I got the toffee nut latte and a chocolate muffin. I believe all the baked goods are from Quack's bakery, which I really like. I've never tried a toffee nut latte but it was pretty good. They have grab and go sandwiches and breakfast tacos in the morning. I didn't check the full menu. I'm not in this part of town for breakfast or coffee often. I'm not sure I'd go out of my way, but I'd come back if I was in the area.

Scott B.

Yelp
My favorite coffee place in town. Always have friendly service from the folks that work there and the coffee is top notch.

T W.

Yelp
This place literally never misses. I come here during my lunch break to study for classes and I've always been able to find a place to sit and found the music isn't too loud to where I can't hear a zoom or study. I always get an iced latte with sea salt caramel toffee and it's never been bad, in fact I would literally say it's one of the best coffees I've ever had The staff is also always so kind :)

Morgan S.

Yelp
This wonderful coffee shop is tucked in the shopping center. I was happy to discover it, especially once learning it serves mushroom (chaga) lattes, RecessTM adaptogenic canned drinks, and a multitude of different coffee beans and utensils. My green mint coffee tastes delicious and so fresh! I will definitely be back.

Jennifer R.

Yelp
Great coffee beans and beverages. They have great baked goods and a decent selection of other goodies. Lots of space to hang inside and out. Loses a point for the crazy parking lot it shares with a daycare and motel.

Greg B.

Yelp
The staff has no issue at all giving you attitude with your hastily made coffee, oh, tip us as well when you pay. This is the place to go if you enjoy that sort of thing. They actually yelled across the store at a customer as he was leaving, "you need to clean off your table!" That kind of disrespect for customers is unacceptable. I see won't be going back!

Yar P.

Yelp
This is a small, cramped, noisy place. Often the noise is from the people who work there. The smaller the space the more that people have to be considerate but here, the people aren't. Their coffee is okay but you not spectacular.

Joseph R.

Yelp
Their coffee is decent, however the blonde lady that's usually there couldn't be more unpleasant and rude, all the time. The man who's back there is terrific though. The women here are miserable and need to find somewhere else to work where they aren't the face of a company.

S G.

Yelp
Best coffee ever! And the owner is so knowledgeable and will take the time to answer questions so you're happy with the choice you make when it comes to buying coffee beans.

Anna R.

Yelp
Quaint little shop, great to bring a laptop and cozy up for a bit. Loved coming here regularly when I lived in the area. Highly recommend if you are looking for good vibes and good coffee!

Rae M.

Yelp
Cappuccino was not made well. Good place to sit and get some work done though and nice staff

Victoria W.

Yelp
good coffeeshop to study/work in - fast wifi, comfy seats, and easy parking! love the homey vibes! I got the Latte (Medium) + Chaga scoop and Chocolate Chip Scone. They both tasted excellent.

Angela Y.

Yelp
On the drinks - When I first received my matcha latte ($3.50 for the smaller size), I saw chunks of matcha at the top, almost as if the barista did not mix it at all. I asked them to remake it, and they gave me a shaken matcha (I believe), which was delicious and had a layer of matcha foam at the top. They don't sweeten the drink, which I actually prefer, but it was a lot less sweet than matcha drinks I've had from other coffee shops. My boyfriend, who is a barista an Austin specialty coffee shop, got a geisha pour over (beans are sold at Trianon for $65/pound, and the drink itself was $8/cup), which is known for tasting extremely fruity. He said it didn't taste special but couldn't tell if it was because of the bean or the drink preparation. On the atmosphere - There's a small room in the back with additional seating, but it was reserved when we were there. The seating in the main area was plentiful with lots of sunlight. The furniture was slightly dated but still comfortable. The music and baristas were too loud for me, so I moved outside. There's an outdoor area with picnic tables that's open to all customers. It was a lovely day to be in the sun.

Shahrzad Y.

Yelp
Had our coffees to go but need to go back and sit inside. It seemed quiet for work or study and had an outdoor area for kids to play too. My regular oatmilk latte was wonderful and creamy. I will go back.

Art C.

Yelp
Our cappuccino from here was strictly OK. Decent enough- maybe above average in another city that's not as serious as Austin in terms of their coffee game... But Austin is a serious coffee city, so...

Yelp
07/29 at 9:35AM ( if the owner cares to provide feedback to who that is responsible) I went to this place today because I like supporting local coffee shop. As soon as i walked in, there was no customer waiting or being served at the counter. The front desk lady ( very unfriendly with her voice) said I am not done yet with that person (pointing at someone on the side) with very rudeness and then the way she looked at me and greeted me was rude and awkward and then she wouldn't listen to what I want to order. I ended up getting black- coffee. The drip coffee was very cold and not fresh and it was at the bottom of the container. Unfortunately, she came near by and I told her that the container is almost at the bottom and asked for fresh pot. she checked and showed her face and then started telling me that container is still got some coffee even though I told her it's very cold , at the bottom and not fresh. The other lady stepped in to help and this lady went inside and started chatting about this to other employee. Bad customer service with rudeness. Very disappointed. I don't think I will step in to this place again.

Yelp
Trianon Coffee has been my favorite for years until I read they list their lease but they said found a new home. So I waited and waited. Now they reopened at a new location near their old one. I was in the area and wanted to see it in person. It is in an older shopping center but their new space looked really nice. I walked inside to see a nice layout with new seating, ordering station, and products for sale. Those like me who purchase whole beans to take home they still sell a wide variety of beans and have the index cards where they kept track what you previously ordered. It's still old school! I ordered an iced coffee and it tasted excellent. I am glad this place is back open and the baristas are really cool

Muddassir M.

Yelp
Nice little hidden secret coffee spot in the Westlake neighborhood. Hood for working Wi-Fi is available and the gentleman barista is fast, efficient and makes some good coffee. Love his attitude very friendly. Good variety of food as well such as pastries and Tacodeli tacos

Mel S.

Yelp
Coffee fresh roasted on site and available for purchase in whole bean. Comfortable and quiet environment conducive for work, study, or a good read. Best cappuccino with Oat Milk I have ever had.

Isabella L.

Yelp
this place is the best! I always come here with my friends to work and hang out and it's our favorite place in westlake!

Cameron N.

Yelp
It's a hidden gem! Tucked into the back of the parking lot, Trianon is a great little coffee shop with tasty drinks and a decent amount of noise and balance to get work done!

Gina H.

Yelp
Sweetest coffee shop tucked away in a corner next to Walgreens its truly a great place to hang out wirh friends family or your canine. I been coming to this coffee shop for many years since I started a family in Westlake and served my community here. The coffee is very different has real roasted natural organic coffee beans I say how the taste is unforgettable. I ordered a carmel latte a must try at least once ... a favorite of mine for the years. Delightful friendly fun hangout you see retires and student a cluster or mix The pastries are fresh as alwsys order rhe danish rolls and boxes for lunch. Do try to come by and get to know rhe resident people a super happy place.

Yelp
I visited Trianon around 9 am Monday morning. I had been hoping for a cute little cafe where I could work on my laptop. Unfortunately, the tables were fully occupied per COVID standards. There were plenty of open seats, but most would have put me too close to someone else and the others didn't have a space for me to set down my coffee. The layout of the cafe is just awkward during this pandemic. However, the place was tastefully decorated and the environment was welcoming. I ordered a cold brew with half and half and no sugar. I felt a little rushed while ordering so I settled on the suggested half and half without inquiring about the milk options. What I received looked ordinary, but when I tasted it I realized that it was a *Cold Brew*. I expected a sort of creamy and bitter drink, typical of a cold brew with cream. Instead, my drink had flavors so sophisticated that I still haven't been able to comprehend them. I crave the taste of this coffee, and I don't think any other cold brew will ever measure up.

Kiran S.

Yelp
Unbelievably rude staff and horribly watered down drinks. The place was filthy: wet floors and the trays were full of dirty dishes. Skip.

Tessa B.

Yelp
This is my every day coffee shop! Large oat milk latte with toffee nut flavoring- it is incredible!!! Inside of this place is the essence of a coffee shop

Ruochen W.

Yelp
Beautiful cafe that has all you can ask for. Homey decor, smooth coffee, a global wall of beans, good prices, and friendly staff. Truly one of my favorite coffee shops in the city!

Yuri T.

Yelp
They have good coffee at Trianon, but it is a small coffee shop and sometimes the music is too loud. Some of the seating is comfortable, some is painful.

Meera A.

Yelp
I went to Trianon on a weekend morning, and it was definitely a happening place! Parking was busy, but the lots are large as they are shared with Austin's Pizza and other local businesses. I was greeted by a very friendly employee as soon as I got to the head of the short line. They have the regular lineup of coffee & espresso drinks, a selection of baked goods, and Taco Deli tacos! Their cappuccino was well made and the butter croissant was excellent in taste and texture. Yum! The only downside of Trianon is the noise from all the people in a relatively small space. They only have two small tables outside- grab them if they're free!

Vanessa P.

Yelp
I went this afternoon to try a new place for a iced coffee. I walked in and I greeted the lady that was sweeping received no response. Went to the front to order and shared this was my first time there; instead of recommending something or welcoming me I received a very awkward silence. This place was not welcoming what so ever. All 3 staff members looked so unhappy to be there and were far from welcoming. I will never go back to this coffee shop and won't recommend it to anyone due to the unwelcoming experience.

Christopher D.

Yelp
Ah, it's okay. Y'know? That's it. Don't get me wrong, nothing bad here but nothing great either. The kind of place you stop at because it's on the way to work. Destination stop? No. Just no.

Westin P.

Yelp
It's just not the same as it was pre Covid. The beans are just not good anymore and the baristas don't take the time to make good coffee anymore. Oh well.

Amy L.

Yelp
This coffee shop has a very casual, homey feel to it. Since it is located on Bee Caves, there are less students (aka me) who make it their temporary home to study. Most customers come and go, or sit around for a bit to read books/chat with their friends and family. There are a ton of tables, with chairs ranging from barstools to leather lounge chairs, so no matter what you're here for, you'll most likely be able to find a place to sit. If you are here to study/work, there are only a few outlets on the walls, but luckily not many people stay for a long time so you could probably snag one. Just FYI -- My mocha came in a to-go cup and I haven't seen anyone get in house latte art cups. Not complaining though! Baristas were nice.

Toni's T.

Yelp
This the perfect hidden gem for good coffee. It's right off Bee Caves road between Mopac and 360. Supporting small business is important!!!!

Jite S.

Yelp
Fantastic coffee spot and great interior space. They have two conference room style rooms for more private working and a cushy open space. The baristas were all very friendly and the coffee options were splendid. I was passing through town and needed somewhere to work for half a day, and this coffee shop was the perfect place to do that.

Marie G.

Yelp
I love Trianon Coffee and was SO sad when it got booted from it's previous location. I was worried they wouldn't be able to rally and return but alas, they have returned to Bee Cave road! I finally got the chance to go check out their new location this weekend and it was so cute inside. They're in an older shopping center but the inside is all nice and new. All of the staff were so friendly and I even got a free cookie. And of course, the coffee is still just as fabulous as ever. If you're a serious coffee drink you'll appreciate all of the many options and types of coffee. If you're a more casual drinker you'll love that none of the roasts are ever bitter and they've got some fun lattes on the menu to try. Personally, I just like the good old fashioned cold brew! When you're out next Saturday and looking for a little local place to support that has some phenomenal coffee and a very Austin-esque atmosphere go ahead and pull in. You won't regret it!

Allyson D.

Yelp
This coffee shop is so cute! There's a room that you can rent and there is great wifi connectivity. Seems like a great atmosphere to come and study. I got a blended matcha with almond milk, very yummy

Bonnie R.

Yelp
Great place to have coffee. Very cozy. Great eats available to have with your coffee and super nice people that work there. Will definitely return!

T. D.

Yelp
Unpretentious coffee shop that would be a great place to study, get work done, or just read a book. There are breakfast tacos and pastries available for breakfast, and there is plenty of both seating and free parking. I also can't argue with free coffee refills! My only complaint is that they seem to run out of tacos fairly early in the day.

Sarah S.

Yelp
Came here during a two hour lunch break I had. My barista might've been the most friendly guy ever. Definitely gave me good recommendations on what to get and talked about the wide coffee selection they had. Ended up getting a cold brew on his recommendation. Really liked it. Smooth. Also got a green cart sandwich, basil chicken salad, which was alright. The place is nice and roomy with lots of light and lots of seating. Small tables but it was comfortable to sit in a couch and do my work. I liked it!

Janet K.

Yelp
Love my local coffee shop. Such wonderful people and great service. I often start my day picking up coffee and breakfast tacos from Trianon. Today, the experience was above and beyond! Was walking by with my pups during our amazing snow day here in Austin. Decided a Cortado would be perfect, however, had the pups, snow was coming down. I called from outside to check if they would take my order. They brought it out to me! Was a wonderful start to the day. Highly recommend!
