"Tribe was the first queer-friendly spot from David Taylor, the owner behind Suzy Wong’s House of Yum, and Play Dance Bar; Taylor’s aim for a gay bar ‘nice enough to bring your Mama, but probably never would.’ It’s known for a slew of weekly events, from bingo to karaoke and of course, show tunes Sunday." - Melissa Corbin, Eater Staff

Google
I like the place but felt out of place because i am a gay man. I thought it was a gay bar but 90% of the customers were women. Women dressed like 14 year old Taylor Swift. If you like girls night out you will have a great time.

Google
Great local bar. More mature than Play and very laid back. Plenty of space for dancing and the bar staff was cute and attentive. Definitely recommend for the 21+ crowd. I had a good time there with my friend and we met some interesting people. Highly recommend for a laid back local bar experience.

Google
Great events and watch parties, bartenders and drinks are great! People on here complaining about women at the gay bar..... lmfao guess he doesn't like the inclusivity of gay women at the gay bar

Meredith Werley

Google
We had a drink here prior to our boarding Big Drag Bus. Bartender was sweet, bar was clean, had fun music playing. We didn’t eat there, so I cant comment or rate that.

Curtis Patel

Google
Crowded in the bar area these days...but very kind people - Kylie Minogue bought me a glass of wine once. Once I finally order food here, I will be able to add a photo of it. Until then, I look so thirsty I think I need it -

Google
As stated by other reviews the bartenders favor their friends over everyone else. They clearly have a preference over the people they know versus new guests. I'd recommend going elsewhere.

Google
Always an incredibly welcoming location with friendly faces everywhere. The outdoor area is GLORIOUS! Highly recommend for a wonderful time.

Google
We chilled here for a bit while waiting on our drag bus... the people are amazing, drinks and shots were made well, and the atmosphere really gets you in the mood to party! Loved it❤️

Yelp
Seemed like a hidden gem in Nashville to me! Of course they had the best music and I loved the music videos playing. Such a unique layout and design, I loved the multiple levels of the place (indoor and outdoor seating) as well as the decor. We were here around 10pm and expected there to be lots of dancing but it just wasn't happening at the time (surprisingly due to the good music). Definitely felt safe and welcome here. Drinks were made well.

Yelp
Tribe was a fanatic time for our birthday night out. Let me tell you how amazing the bar tender Anthony was! First off when we were talking group photos, he came right over and was posing us. After that he was making us drinks based off of our favorite colors! He was definitely fun person to chit chat with!!

Megan R.

Yelp
This place would not run without Dayne, Rj and Mattie I am from Illinois and because of these three people I would recommend this bar to everyone. You want friendly bartenders? You want friendly managers? Come here. The drinks are worth the money because of Dayne, RJ and Mattie I came here for the drag brunch and I stayed because of the vibes. There is no other place in Nashville like this.

Alicia A.

Yelp
The bartenders Dayne and Matt were the best and made our day, rj made sure we set and taken care of. They deserve raises and the best.

Titus C.

Yelp
I wish try bring back the chicken quesadilla Bartenders are great. music could a little louder

Courtney S.

Yelp
I had the best time at this spot. We went for my coworker's retirement party. I had never been to this kinda full fledged show. Amazing. The talents were great. Made me wish I had more dollars to give. They were hilarious and welcoming and warm. I loved every bit of it. My fav was Carmen triplec. She was fire!! The other ladies were great too. I can't wait to come back and play!!!

Mary Kate E.

Yelp
I really like Tribe! It is always a good time and you can make it whatever you want it to be. You can sit outside or you can be in the middle of the action near the stage. I enjoy Show Tune Sundays and the crowd is light hearted and chill. You can't really go wrong here. The drinks are strong and the boys are cute! If you are in the LGBTQAI+ community, and want to be in a crowd that is going to have a good time - Tribe is the place to be. Tribe is really a place to be for anyone regardless of your background, but nevertheless it is a lot fun. It can be a bit crowded at times. Just exercise common sense during the pandemic and you should be fine.

Sabrina L.

Yelp
Such a welcoming and colorful place!!! Staff is amazing and such a great time! I highly recommend you visit!

Yelp
What a great time. Yes queen, I legit walked into the bar on a midweek day in the staff was very friendly very quick and made a very strong yet delicious, rum, and Coke the vibes. We're on point great music, good food, good drinks, and for one of the only gay bars in Nashville, I would not mind visiting again.

Joshua K.

Yelp
In town for a long weekend trip and had to stop here after Broadway. After a few hours here we realized we should have come sooner. None of the bustling crowds of Broadway. No music so loud you can't hear the person next to you or even yourself think. Bar tenders are amazing! Drinks are priced right and well made. The new patio/roof deck looks to be almost complete and you can enjoy some time up there. Will definitely come again next time in Nashville and will be suggesting to friends who travel here.

Lathan M.

Yelp
We're from Florida just popped in for a early evening drink. Though the staff was less than excited to be there the drinks were good and so was the atmosphere.

Cody P.

Yelp
I love friend pickles, but please change from SPEARS to CHIPS. Otherwise all the food is great at Ttibe.

Caitlin R.

Yelp
Online we found that 18+ were allowed in, so my sister and her friend (both 20+) joined us (both 25+) I have a friend visiting from out of the country, and the blatant racism and discrimination we experienced when we were accused of supplying alcohol to a minor when only the two of us over 21 had ordered drinks and the way they told my friend her ID wasn't real since it was from out of the country was appalling. Absolutely disgusting lack of cultural awareness for a bar that claims to be LGBTQ+ friendly and presumably wouldn't be racist too...wish I didn't have to be writing a shitty review because we had high hopes for a fun night of karaoke and bingo for God's sake. I'm so disappointed and it's no surprise there were hardly any people inside given the discrimination and hatred people of color must feel in this bar.

Jerry C.

Yelp
Great opening night. Love the new space! The new menu is a huge improvement. Can't wait for the huge patio to be finished. Good luck guys!!!!

D H.

Yelp
Wait in line to wait in line for the ATM because they only take cash. Both ATMs were down. I had to borrow money from a stranger just to get in. Why only cash at the door? Are they making money from the malfunctioning ATMs? Hmm.

Christopher S.

Yelp
Some buddies of mine and one of their boyfriends came down to Nashville for a guy's trip over our weekend and this is a bar we went to a couple of times. It was an okay bar and really clean for a bar that caters to the community - some, and some on this street - are filthy places. I would recommend this place to people visiting Nashville. The young men tending bar were okay, they made great drinks but it was difficult to get their attention. I know I'm not eye candy but my money spends the same as someone who is attractive and I'm a good tipper. The drinks were good, I would have liked more of them. I also felt like it was a tad bit loud for a bar where no one was dancing. My one buddy kept hectoring me about what was 'wrong' with me and it was that I couldn't hear him over the standard gay bar soundtrack. Dolly Parton is a National Treasure, don't sing her songs if you can't. She sings so you don't have to, thanks.

Grant T.

Yelp
Great gay bar with fantastic drink specials. The drag queens are funny and the events can be a lot of fun. Bartenders are pretty nice and friendly. Great atmosphere.

Travis R.

Yelp
The big rehab.. Basic, basic, basic.... A bit tragic but mostly basic.. the lay out lackes flow.. oooh look an outdoor "rooftop" space soo hetro.. I can just hear the "woo whooooo" girls now.. literally only 4 bathrooms and 2 of them are urinals.. I would think you were joking. If it weren't so basic... bring it to the next level of basic are the unfriendly, uncomfortably, arrogant bar tenders.. Wooowhoo welcome to basic.

Tony G.

Yelp
Came here with the bff They supposedly serve food but once the bartender gave us the menus he wanted nothing to do with us. We sat there for 20 min waiting for him to take our order and never came back to us. If you want drinks, this is where it's at. All though they "offer" food good luck and have fun getting ignored.

Brian S.

Yelp
My partner and I were sick of broadway street so we decided to try some gay bars in the area. Our first stop was Tribe. We both waited at the bar for a drink for 20 minutes and were ignored by the bartenders. Multiple ones walked past us and didn't even acknowledge we were waiting. A bachelorette party walked in and they were served right away. That ended our night at tribe. 30 minutes and no service so we decided to take our business elsewhere. Maybe it was just an off night for the bartenders but I personally would not recommend Tribe to anyone!!!

Mark T.

Yelp
Guys, used to love this place...went tonight and was so disappointed. Decor is so confused. LESS IS MORE. Music was playing over the speakers and videos playing on the screens were different. The worst. Come on we need GOOD, STYLISH gay bar in Nashville...HELP!!!

RC N.

Yelp
This place is a shadow of its former self and, as a local, it's sad to see. Despite an incredible, newly renovated space complete with outdoor patio, Tribe is one of the most ungratifying social experiences in Nashville. Sure, with friends you can have a blast here just as you might anywhere. The disappointment stems from indifference. The staff, in particular, are off putting bordering on unfriendly. They are slow, aloof, and more interested in verbal jabs and sidebars with one another than they are serving their customers. The owners, either disconnected or distracted playing the show game next door, allow Tribe to suffer its own existence, a great piece of real estate limping along as one DRAG of a gay bar.

Rockne H.

Yelp
After a full night of food, drinks and great company, we decided to bring the party to Tribe. I was told about this place through friends, prior to visiting Nashville. What I liked about the place was the warehouse ceilings and wooden panels. You get the country type feel and the trendy warehouse club ambiance at the same time. The bar area is huge and offers a lot of seating. The drinks were inexpensive and the full bar offered all sorts of spirits, wine and beer. The music was great and set a nice trendy mood. What I did not like was the caddiness of the bartenders. At one point, my party got a few stares and even some, what seemed to be, crap talking from two of the bartenders. Super turn off. Here's my thoughts: Not a place to be caddy. Tribe is great, nothing like LA and Vegas bars I'm used to and frequent. I appreciated their timeliness with drink orders however, the snickering and talking under breathes could have been prevented. All in all, this place was ok. For lack of the other gay bars in the area, I will certainly return for another experience. Hopefully the next time we will be welcomed with more of a personable company.

Chelsea W.

Yelp
Not only is this place super fun with a great atmosphere, but the staff is amazing, as well. When I was leaving, someone approached me and wouldn't let me past him on the sidewalk to go to my car. The awesome security guard not only made him leave, but walked me to the end of the sidewalk and waited until I made it safely to my car. He went above and beyond to make sure I was safe, and I'm so appreciative!

Alley V.

Yelp
We came after Suzy Wongs Brunch and it was dead BUT we had a blast! The bartender, Trey, consistently came around making sure our drinks were full & we were doing okay! We ended up coming back later that night before heading next door. We can't wait to come back on our next trip in a few weeks!

Josh B.

Yelp
I'm only giving 5 stars for the bar tender Chris. Knows his customers and knows what his clientele wants . It seems that's none of the other bar tenders don't know what's going on but he's one of the best. A plus to this bar tender and the clean non smoking bar of Nashville!

Tiara C.

Yelp
Great great great! Good staff good cheap drinks and cute and well decorated bar. This is a must stop by place if you're going through Nashville

Joshua B.

Yelp
Tribe is the bar, in my opinion, is one of the best bars I've ever been to - bar none. The atmosphere, the bartenders, the drinks, the music and the food - all fantastic. The facilities are immaculate and the bathrooms are nice and usually very clean. But, like every place - there are times to go that are better than others. So, let me recommend this: If you are someone who likes to go to a bar late - don't go to Tribe. Tribe is a bar, not a dance club. You'll likely see people in there until around 10:30 - 10:45. Then you'll notice people start to filter out and around 11pm its pretty much dead. This is due to the dance bar next door, Play. They have a show that starts at 11. So, the way my friends and I handle things are we go to Tribe first - usually around 9 or 930. Have a few drinks there - listen to music, chat, whatever. Then around 11 we filter out to another bar. Sometimes Play, sometimes some of the other bars down church street. But it is NOT a good place to be late - unless you enjoy sparse crowds. Now, onto the drinks and costs associated with them: I usually get a Mandarin Vodka with some cranberry juice and that runs me 6.50. Sometimes I get a vodka-red bull. They will open the red bull for you and charge you for the whole can and sometimes give you the rest of the can after they make the drink. However, you can ask them to keep the other half for you so your next drink will cost less (since you already paid for the red bull). They do have drink specials for happy hour(s). Its best to check the website tribenashville.com for events and drink specials. Currently on mondays they have SIN night (Service Industry Night) - 3 dollar drinks and 5 dollar appetizers. Wednesdays they have 2 dollar well and Smirnoff Drinks and on sundays they have 5 dollar pitchers from 4-10pm. But that is always changing. Also, I should mention - it is 21 and up, non-smoking inside and no cover. If you are there on a weekend night - It can be difficult to get a drink. However, I have a system that always seems to work: Go to the bar just outside of the main room. Usually there aren't as many people at this bar and you can get served faster. Also, if you don't know good bar etiquette yet - here is a tip. Go to the bar with cash or card in hand - keep your eye on the bartender until he looks at you and when he does - smile. He'll then say something like "Just one sec" and finish doing whatever he is doing and then come to you. If you aren't making eye contact they won't know to come to you. So, don't get upset if they pass you over. Always try to make eye contact. For 2010 Tribe was also voted in the Nashville Scene (a local independent newspaper) best gay bar, best pick up bar, best place to meet a man, best martini, best dj, best bartender and even best lesbian bar! So, you can see its a great place to go!

Kristen L.

Yelp
Our bartender was great and attentive. We were disappointed with the energy level of the drag show. The host of the show lacked energy, she basically stepped side to side on the small stage, and started the night off with a basic low energy song for the night! The other Queens were ok. Only one had great energy out of the three shows that we saw. Seemed like tips were given more out of pity than for performance!

Jenn C.

Yelp
So. Many. TVs. So. Many. Music. Videos. I found myself feeling rather "deer in headlights" - I haven't watched music videos since MTV actually played them (which was like in college 20 years ago) - and then they stopped playing videos and I have no idea where people watch them now except maybe on YouTube but who has time for that? Oh - wait - my 14 year old step-nephew. I digress. I had a killer lemon drop - fresh lemons - and listened to the end of the pub trivia night while staring at some crazy music videos I have never seen before (I'm so out of the loop on pop music!). It was mostly men and the bartender suggested I go next door to Play... (see my other review). Tribe itself is pretty big - with some larger rooms split up - a nice big U shaped bar and lots of cute bartenders who spend a lot of time dancing and showing their stuff. It was just as entertaining as the videos. I'd happily return - nice bar and good vibe.

RR G.

Yelp
Too many pretentious guys here, including the bartenders. They seem pick and choose who they want to serve drinks to. I don't see how anyone would want to spend their money here.

Toby W.

Yelp
Very generic and underwhelming. Also, the music is ! Just an all around gross atmosphere.

Kelly L.

Yelp
Great vibe! Came here during day and then again at night while in Nashville. Both times had excellent service and great crowd! Love the music videos, board games, ping pong and billiards. If I'm ever in Nashville again, will definitely be back!

H M.

Yelp
What fun & what a nice group of bartenders, the service is spot on & the drinks are dynamite. We will return & hopefully have the same excellent experience.

Lisa A.

Yelp
I have been going to Tribe for several years to watch RuPauls Drag Race and quite enjoyed it until this year. Recently they forced patrons to listen to racist diatribe by a house queen during the show. I'm appalled and outraged by this management condoned behavior and will not be returning to this bar.

Michael S.

Yelp
Wow took me by surprise - great crowd - busy early - friendly staff - good food........ something for all

Jiah T.

Yelp
We would have loved to try Tribe on a night that was more hype because after reading the reviews and really looking forward to going here, we were sorely disappointed. The space is cool, I'm sure the fun nights can be a blast but we got there around 10pm on a Friday night and it was pretty much dead with 80s music. Bartenders and staff were not very attentive and moving very slowly, albeit they poured us some super stiffies. Sure, it's a local spot but there wasn't much of a vibe to follow and after trying to sip down our one drink, we left and went next door to Play where we had a MUCH better time! Don't get me wrong, I love a chill, lounge-y vibe but Tribe that night wasn't even close to that and just felt so void and lackluster in a lot of aspects. If you just want to go sit at the bar and stare at decent looking bartenders though, I recommend!

Sam N.

Yelp
Had a great time at Tribe during a short visit. Orlando was fantastic and gave us a list of restaurants to check out while we were there. Everyone was very friendly and helpful. Will definitely be back to visit!

Aerin A.

Yelp
Four stars for WiFi and an not 100 percent offensive drink . I ordered an adios m f . Which wasn't good but not horrible either. It was what it was . The bartender did nothing wrong . I just learned I can no longer drink drinks made with artificial dye . Adios m f s are essentially the same as Long Island iced teas with the exception that you use sprite instead of coke and blue curaçao instead of triple sec . Overall typical bar experience as you have to go up to the bartender order pay and bring the drink back to your table . The dj was a okay playing typical thumpa thumpa you hear at average gay clubs / bars . Decor was average . Customer service average . They have coat / bag check for security purposes so be aware of that . Overall happy I stopped by here as it was one of the cheaper venues I attended price wise . Drink cane out to be only $9 and I'm assuming that includes the ridiculous 15 percent tax you pay on top of the regular local tax .

Marcia M.

Yelp
Wednesday night. 11:30pm. Craving a nightcap. Question: What's a broad to do? Answer: She and her friends (gay and straight) head to Tribe for fun tunes, great service, wine, and good times. $6 will score you some Merlot while Madonna music videos (and RuPaul too) on the TV. The crowd is lowkey and comfy. I dig it.

Kelly T.

Yelp
When my gay friend invited me check out Tribe, I had in my head the Skybar in Miami as a reference for comparison, when I got inside it is nothing like a Skybar or even LIV. It looks like a 'brew house' with old school classroom like furnishings and seriously, i have never seen so many white men in one place, yes, i realized this is predominantly a Gay bar, but then again this is Nashville where diversity is miniscule. I didn't see your typical average mingling as one would see, so this place looks to me like it is going through an identity crisis, I'm not sure what to classify this place.

Ashwin M.

Yelp
Tribe is one of Nashville's few android bars. This is where robots come to hang out after a long day working at the HOMO SAPIENS INC. assembly lines where they build human babies from flesh and blood. It's not an easy task (ever tried filling a heart with blood when it's still beating?) and all androids need some love. Saunter in and an immaculate android will attest if your memory circuits are valid by scanning your bar code. Once that is done, you can mosey over to the Dexter's Lab where eager roboticists, dressed in just their circuits, will fill you with an amazing selection of libations - engine oil, solder lead, capacitance flux (if that's your thing! eww), and a host of other liquids. Tribe is so cool they even sell that silly intoxicant called BEER that all human adults imbibe in and then find themselves reproducing without will. BEER, of course, stands for Beverage for Emancipated and Emaciated Robots. It was designed to rejuvenate malnourished and poorly soldered robots of Detroit. But when Playboy Unit 453 discovered its titillating side effects, well, the rest is history. And you can drink some of that history in cheap silicon based containers called glass. One corner of this establishment houses two flat cushioned panels on which are scattered many colorful balls. Androids walk around it, brandishing long sticks. (The inside joke is that the length of the stick is proportional to the pleasure unit of the android, but everyone knows that's not true!) For a few pieces of metal, you can shoot these balls into pockets apparently for some sort of subtle gratification. As the night progresses, androids begin to connect to each other and exchange software (and hard..ware), The synchronized collection of sound waves that the humans call music begins to increase in intensity, drowning out any possible conversation. More androids barge in, bringing with them well proportioned female human units and then it gets really wild. When you exit Tribe after a hard night of partying, the memory circuit validating android will normally reset your memory banks. So don't be alarmed if you wake up the next day and wonder where you were the previous night!

Yelp
I went on a Friday night a couple of weeks ago to check it out based on all of the reviews I've read on Yelp. The decor of the bar is great and the doormen holding open the doors for you as you enter and exit is a nice touch. There are lots of sitting areas both in the main room, the raised main area and even in the next room (which I learned is how you get to Suzy Wong's). And yes....the bartenders are definitely attractive. On the night that I went they were doing a rendition of the old "Post Office" game, which everyone was able to play.....for a $5.00 fee. In their defense the fee enabled you to get into Play next door for free. Now for the deduction of the two stars. During my stay an announcement was made that if you paid the $5.00 to play "Post Office" you could get in for free. What wasn't said was that you needed to obtain a pass to actually get into Play for free, and I didn't find out until I actually went next door and was told (rather rudely, but that's in my Play review) about it. Furthermore, I didn't find the people here really friendly. I found the clientele to be rather cliquish and not wanting to start up a conversation, even when approached. There were one or two people there that were friendly, but overall I did not sense the friendliness and didn't feel welcomed there. Granted I'm not expecting the red carpet to be rolled out or everyone to shout "WELCOME!" at the top of their lungs, but a few of the mean "what-the-hell-are-you-looking-at" looks weren't necessary. Would I go back? Don't know. Maybe that particular Friday was an off night.

Austin R.

Yelp
Came on a Monday night for the drag show and it was so much fun! The bartenders are super friendly and great. It was a pretty diverse crowd and there were a good amount of people there for a Monday. The interior is very modern and classy. It seems pretty large so it must be fun on Fridays & Saturdays too. Will never forget the moment when the power went out in the middle of the show and all the drag queens freaked out hahaha.

Amanda C.

Yelp
I love going to Tribe whenever I have a chance. One, the service and drinks are pretty good. And two, it is always great to see that random protester that has a sign that says, "Let's put the CHURCH back into Church Street!". Makes a young lady giggle I might say. I would have to say this is not my first choice for dancing. The music and scene at PLAY is much better for that. Tribe is a much better place to grab a drink and talk to some people. It was a little slow that Saturday night, but I do not know if that is the case for every night.

David S.

Yelp
This place may not be what you think of when you think of a gay bar. That may be good or bad, depending on your perspective, but Tribe is definitely a mainstay of the Nashville gay scene. I think the place is laid back and friendly. Some guys find it a little uptight. I think it depends what you are looking for. Since gay bars are usually frequented by a particular segment of gays (bears, twinks, leather), it may not be your cup of tea. Personally, I think it's both classy (not a backroom kind of place) and laid back. I'm not usually going there to pick anyone up, just to enjoy a beer or two with friends (or just people watch). This is the first gay bar I ever went in, so I have a little soft spot for it, but it definitely stands up on its own merits. Really friendly bartenders (Loy, Stevn, Heath) who will all get to know you and your drink if you come in often. It's a video bar so there's music always thumping. Lots of theme nights (Madonna, Prince) and parties (Memorial Day, 4th of July) as well. The bar and adjoining restaurants definitely support and give back to the community which is great. Beer on tap (including the recent addition of Blue Moon), drink specials, musical sing-alongs on Sunday, tv showings, no cover charge!..there's a lot going on at Tribe. Oh, and thankfully Tribe decided to go no-smoking which is great...smokers you can go outside to the patio to light up. Since Nashville seems to be losing its gay bars at an alarming rate, I encourage everyone to come out and support Tribe (and the other bars that are left). Yes, straight people; you are welcome to come in, too.

Keith M.

Yelp
I just wanted to take the time out to give a huuuuuge "Thank you" to the amazing and awesome staff at Tribe Nashville. While leaving the bar tonight, my wallet fell out of my back pocket and I didn't notice it until I was across town. I called the bar and the staff informed me that my wallet had indeed been found in the back parking lot and that DJ Remedy had not only turned it in to the managers office, but that he had attempted to contact me on Facebook as well!! I was SOOOO relieved and thankful. Drew AKA DJ-REMEDY, my sincerest thanks to you and the top-notch staff at Tribe on Church Street for finding my wallet and returning it with everything intact!!! Thank you to the absolute fullest, guys! Tonight, you have proven that your folks are indeed a class act and I am ever so grateful for the return of my wallet. God bless each of you and thank you once again!!!

Zeke A.

Yelp
Came here to continue my birthday celebration and enjoyed it. The place was modern, clean, and had nice strong drinks. The bartender was quick to serve us and we had a cozy table with a nice view of the bar and of what I presumed to be a dance floor. We didn't stay long, but I enjoyed my drink and the venue itself. Would definitely come back at a later hour to see how crazy it gets.

Keith H.

Yelp
Like it's sister establishment next door, Play, Tribe is easily one of the nicest gathering spots in the city, regardless of your scene. It's obvious as soon as you walk in the door that the owners set out to impress. The staff is always friendly and also easy on the eye. You will easily find a good crowd on the weekend. The music videos range from the 70's to current, and the VJ's are great about making requests. It helps to tip them! Wednesday night is traditionally the busiest night during the week because of the great drink specials-- it's colloquially referred to as "Welfare Wednesday". Their Sunday Showtunes night is equally well attended. After a weekend of fun, I've often relaxed on the mezannine and held court on Sunday. It's a relaxed evening with the VJ showing musical clips from television and movies, in addition to traditional musical clips. It's always fun to be in the middle of a room of strangers singing happily together-- there is a built-in comradery. Other nights there are fun too-- trivia, comedy night and karaoke. A good friend refers to Tribe as our "country club" and I couldn't agree more.

Les A.

Yelp
I went to Tribe on a Tuesday night wanting to do an lgbt karaoke night. I did my first song fine but then the drag queen purposely gave me an edited track to sing to. Every time i was about to do a big high note, it just skipped to the chorus. Not really an issue if you dont notice that every time she had to sing, the tracks worked just fine. If she does not know how to work the dj booth or the establishment is too cheap to afford the right tracks, i will gladly take my karaoke & drinking dollars elsewhere. As for the atmosphere, it is ok... bartenders are eh and the clientele are rather homely too. I would recommend going elsewhere for hot guys to talk to. Place was practically empty before midnight.
