The people at this establishment are ethereal. So warm and welcoming from the first step in until you step out. The food however left alot to be desired. The caesar salad had a fishy taste to it. I will post pictures of how untouched our plates were as we departed. I was a little disappointed that the waiter didn't ask if there was a problem with the food but nonetheless we paid and left. A quick trip to local grocery store afterwards allowed us to pick up ingredients so we could come home and make dinner. Definitely not the evening we had planned. It was our first visit and most likely our last.

All I can say is WOW — and of course a huge THANK YOU to Tribeca Tavern for making my husband’s surprise birthday party such an incredible success! From start to finish, everything was flawless. Serena worked closely with me on every detail, and the entire staff went above and beyond to make sure all of our needs were met. The service was truly top-notch! The private room (the Lodge) was charming and the perfect fit for our 37 guests. So many people told me it was the best party they had ever attended! The way the surprise was set up was absolutely priceless — it took my husband quite a while to realize what was happening, which made the big reveal even more fun. The food was outstanding. Several guests raved that the salmon was the best they’d ever had, the appetizer trays disappeared instantly, and the desserts were such a hit that there wasn’t a crumb left behind. Having a TV available for a photo slideshow was an extra special touch, and a separate table with non-messy crafts kept the kids entertained and happy all day. We are beyond grateful — this was truly a day to remember. Without hesitation, I would recommend Tribeca Tavern for any celebration or simply a fantastic meal!

Google
Overall Score: 6.0/10 – A polished and clean restaurant with an elegant interior, good service, and solid food quality. The space gives off a quiet, upscale date-night vibe, and while it wasn’t overly exciting in style, the experience was well put together. Atmosphere and Service: 6.3/10 – The outside looks nice but a bit plain. Inside, it’s clean and elegant—quiet, almost echoey, in the dining area. The server was friendly and professional. Overall, a relaxed and refined setting with good hospitality. Bacon Cheeseburger: 6.6/10 – A standout dish with bold seasoning and a juicy patty cooked to order. The bacon was crispy and plentiful, and the burger overall had strong quality. The mac and cheese side, while tasting fine, felt like poor value due to the small portion. Bourbon Chicken Bowl: 5.9/10 – Flavorful rice carried this dish, while the chicken was a bit bland on its own. Still a good-tasting meal when combined, but lacked substance and left you wanting more for the price.

Was looking for an intimate private dining space for have my wedding dinner here when my coworker suggested this place to me. I booked the mezzanine and it was perfect for what I was looking for. Their prices and menu options are very upfront and they present on their website, their responses were quick and our server was amazing. The food was deliciousssssss. All the guests kept talking about it. Especially the bison meatloaf. Wish I managed to take more pictures

Ok sometimes a waiter doesn't hear "leave out X" but that didn't happen. They couldn't have done more to fix it: got a brand new item AND took it off the bill. 2 managers came over and were so nice. Jada the bartender makes a great cocktail! Look at the photo of $5 add chicken to Chopped salad: Amazing amount of food! Got a new loyal customer . Thanks

My dad and I came here to try a new place. Everything was out of this world! We had the pretzel bites, Mastering Augusta burger, French Dip, Creme Brulee, and the Lemon Buttercream bread pudding. We also had an extra side each. I had the Tomato Cucumber Black-eyed Pea Salad, and he had Mac and Cheese. We had no complaints about any of it. The portion sizes were really big. You get your monies worth. The service was fantastic as well. The beer was on point. I had the Vienna Lager, and my dad had the 1-2 Punch Hefeweizen. We ate entirely too much, but that is okay. 😂 The food tasted fresh. Please give this place a shot if you are in the area!

My daughter and I came hungry and ready to eat! I pass this restaurant all the time so I figured it was time to try it. We had a horrible experience and ate nothing. I will go step by step to outline our experience. The greeter at the front was amazing! I didn't get her name but she had blonde braids at the time. I hope you're paying her well and making an effort to retain her! My waitress was HORRIBLE. I don't know if she was having a bad day or always like that but she was cold, rude, and clearly not interested in serving us. Her service was so bad the table next to me was also visibly upset so we chatted a bit. They said it was also their first time there and they probably won't return. I asked for lemon for my water and never received it and ordered a soda for my daughter and never received it until I asked again. Also no utensils on the table and didnt get any until minutes after out main dishes were received. When my meatball appetizer came out, it looked like someone cut a piece off one so I sent it back and asked for it to be removed from the bill. Conversation with the lady who delivered it went in circles. That plate should have never left the kitchen! As a rule, I never send food back. I just always think something bad happens when you do that. My main dishes came and my daughter said her cesar salad tasted sweet/off so that was it for me. My food did not look good and I already had an attitude because my server yelled at me for not telling her I sent the meatballs back. The Director Chloe came to speak to me and she was awesome. I hope she gets paid well and the owners are doing what they need to retain her. She made a perfect effort to correct the situation, but the damage was already done. I had a positive chat with her and shared it was just not a good experience or a good fit for us. She asked if I wanted to pack the food and I said no and we left it. I am not a complain to the manager type person, usually I'll just leave the food, pay, still tip, and never return. Tribeca Tavern missed the mark for me and lost out on what was going to be a nice tab and a nice tip. Chloe did ask if we would try again, but I get in my mood and once I'm done, I'm done. Some retraining needs to be done and maybe even some goodbyes need to happen. No need to respond to me with the canned answer to email Chloe, I spoke with her in the moment and she was perfect and really did try to remedy the situation. She was even cleaning tables while my waitress couldn't care a less and was on the phone! To recap: Greeter: A+ Chloe: A+ Waitress: F Lady who delivered the cutoff meatball: F Atmosphere: A Food: C Parking: A+ Unfortunately I will not return.

We reserved The Lodge (private dining room) for my daughter's wedding luncheon. Serena made the event so easy to plan especially when making the arrangements from 2 hours away. She responded quickly to all our questions and offered advice when needed. The space was perfect - we could control the music and present a slideshow while feeling like we were the only guests there. The food was delicious - Balsamic Chicken, Sirloin, Shrimp & Grits and Salmon! Everyone left full and happy! Thank you for making the day so special!!!

Yelp
I was the coordinator for our company holiday party that was held at the Tribeca Tavern yesterday 12.04.25 evening. We had 50+ in attendance and EVERYONE loved the food, drinks, staff and venue. I cannot say enough good things about this venue. Serena worked with me to scheduled everything, choose the foods, and the qtys to serve. Serena was amazing to work with and was able to answer any questions that I had without hesitation. The wait staff was awesome and so very attentive to all of our guest's needs. They served drinks and handled all other requests quickly and they were all so nice. Chris the owner even called me after the event to ask how everything went and to see if there was absolutely anything that they could have done better. The food was AMAZING, and once a tray of food ran out there was a server there immediately to replace it with a new tray. The mushrooms, deviled eggs, meatballs, chicken tenders, wings, sliders, and more were all so good and very flavorful. There were always plates and silverware available for guests, as well as silverware on every table. I can assure you that I can fully testify to all of these things because as the coordinator of this event I always make sure to stay aware of any issues that may arise and where I was seated, I was in view of the buffet tables to make sure that they were continuously stocked. Our employees have used Tribeca Tavern many times in the past for business dinners and everyone always speaks highly of the service and the food. We will certainly continue to use Tribeca Tavern for future events, and I HIGHLY recommend them to anyone looking to host an event, going out to dinner or just looking for somewhere to have a drink.

Yelp
Five Star Event Recommendation: Large open spaces to accommodate our group ~50. Multiple food and drink options to accommodate our budget. Personal staffing servers Lizzy & Dom extremely professional. Chloe & team provided 1st class event, creating a memorable event.

Yelp
I ordered The Wolfpack Burger and it was perfectly juicy, packed with flavor, and cooked just right. The house cut chips with ranch on the side were the perfect complement and really completed the meal. On top of that, the service was friendly and attentive. We sat outside, and the weather was perfect, which made the experience even better.

Yelp
Incredibly fresh restaurant located in Cary! Tribeca Tavern boasts about their pasture to plate (farm to table) mission and it is apparent in their food. My husband and I came here late Saturday afternoon and were seated immediately. We ordered zucchini chips for an appetizer to share. For my meal, I ordered the Better Than Ted burger. It came with a side and I ordered a Caesar salad for $1 extra. My husband ordered The Blue Devil burger with fries. They accidentally mixed up our sides so my plate is shown with fries. This wasn't a big deal because I was able to snack on a few fries and my salad. The zucchini chips were CRISP and I loved that Parmesan cheese was sprinkled on top. My Better Than Ted burger was excellent. It was a NC bison patty, blue cheese crumbles, bacon, roasted red peppers, and fried avocado. I've never had fried avocado before on a burger and now it feels like a must add topping. The fries tasted absolutely fresh. Service was great and attentive. A lot of shops/restaurants were in this area so parking was plentiful. If you're looking for a good burger, check out Tribeca Tavern!

Yelp
Met my friend here for lunch because it was close to H-Mart and we wanted to go shopping for a recipe we saw online from Cardi B. Lol the only reason they received a 4 instead of 3 is because of Lizzy, our server! She was so attentive l, friendly and just went above and beyond. We arrived at 2:50 for our 3:00 reservation. We stood there at least 10 minutes before anyone came to seat/greet us. I didn't mind that too much, I know restaurants can be busy, and then I noticed why. While we were eating the hostess was cleaning tables beside us. We started with the zucchini chips, the top of them were good, nice and crispy and the shaved Parmesan on top was delicious. The ranch that is house made served with it is the bomb! Once you got to the bottom there were soggy and sitting in grease. Maybe add some lettuce at the bottom to soak it up? I don't know but we left those. I had checked the menu out before we went so I had my mouth ready for the steak with chimichurri and truffle fries. I didn't see it on the menu, so I asked. Lizzy stated they had just changed the menu. No more truffle fries or chimichurri steak. I opted for the NY strip that came with molasses that I got on the side, and I'm glad I did! and substituted the regular fries for mashed potatoes. I asked for my steak medium, when it arrived it was well done! They cut the steak, so I feel like they knew it wasn't right. I'm not a well done steak person! I mentioned it to Lizzy, who agreed and had them make me a new one. My friend ordered the curry pumpkin salmon with quinoa and kale. She said it was delicious, I didn't believe her, but I tried it and it was good. Lizzy then brought us a complimentary dessert of bread pudding and ice cream. I'm not a fan of bread pudding, but I did eat the ice cream! It's a large restaurant with a couple of tvs at the bar and it was very quiet. They stated they have outside seating but it must've been on the other side of the restaurant, because I didn't see it.

Yelp
Had a date night out and decided to give Tribeca tavern a try! The place is huge. Indoor and outdoor seating. Staff was friendly upon entering. We made a reservation online. So we got seated right away. Our server was great! Super friendly. Rvs on the walls playing college hoops was a plus since it's march madness time. We got the Korean meatballs for a appetizer. It was delicious. The sauce on it was excellent. So good we ate it so fast forgot to take a photo! lol For our mains we got the ribeye. Double garlic mashed potatoes and a side of blackened shrimp. So freaking good. They have a local ranch who supplies their beef. The quality was definitely there and worth it. For desserts we tried the bread pudding and the crème brûlée. Both awesome choices. We will definitely be back.

Yelp
Grabbed dinner here recently and it was a good experience. First, we were seated immediately, and I was happy that the music wasn't super loud since we have young kids :) They had a kids' menu with crayons, which is always appreciated, and our server was really nice. The drink menu was pretty decent, with a good variety of beers on tap. For food, I ended up ordering the bison meatloaf with garlic mashed potatoes and a Caesar salad on the side, while my wife got the salmon and my kid got the chicken tenders kids' meal. I was pretty impressed that the kids' meal was only $6, especially because the side of fruit included grapes, strawberries, and apple (no melon!). Our meals weren't cheap (low $20s) but weren't unreasonable either. Our food arrived soon after and we tucked in. Honestly, my bison meatloaf was not so good - it tasted a little burnt and it wasn't super flavorful. The mashed potatoes and the Caesar were both fine but nothing mindblowing. My wife enjoyed her salmon and my son really enjoyed his chicken tenders :) They looked good! Honestly, I was tempted to rate this place 3 stars because my food was only decent at best, but our general experience was positive and I would definitely come back, so I decided to bump it up to 4 stars. I would definitely order something else next time, though.

Yelp
Restaurant and service were really good. My husband ordered the tarheel burger and a salad. Salad was good burger was just okay for him. Flavor was lacking little bit. I had the Chicken sandwich with a sid on f mac and cheese. I thought both were delicious! The sandwich was topped with avocado and bacon, lettuce, and tomato and a Sriracha honey sauce. I will be coming back to this restaurant again.

Yelp
Walked in. No one at front desk. Waited a few minutes. Walked five feet further into the store and got the bartender's attention. Bartender saw us, ignored us, went back to doing nothing for the two customers at the bar.
google avatar

Stephen C.

Yelp
Service was excellent and speed of service was great. I'm giving 5 stars because our server was fantastic. Some feedback on the two entrees we ordered. 1. Too much butter on the vegetables, my food was swimming in butter. 2. The chicken salad, too much mayonnaise, made the salad texture wet and mooshy. If you order the steamed vegetables make sure to order light or no butter. Overall good experience.

Yelp
Stopped here for a quick bite with friends and we tried a few apps. Our service was great and we were checked on often as well as our drinks refilled promptly. We tried the Korean barbecue meatballs. These had terrific flavor and they were my favorite app. Also - we tried the spinach dip which had a kick (hint of spice) along with being creamy, these came with pita chips. I would have preferred those to be crispy. We also had the riblits that were decent. All in all his was an okay stop tonight. I didn't really see anything on the menu that wowed me for dinner but the appetizers were adequate for a quick bite.

Yelp
The restaurant is immaculately when walkimg into it. Has a lot of style with rich wood decor that's warm and inviting. The staff is incredibly accommodating, ready to answer questions, and engaging to make sure you have a great dining experience. Food is prepared with perfect plating and is full of flavors. The chefs here really know how to make every meal and appetizer savory as well as appealing to the eye.

Yelp
Just had a burger at Wendys as the steak I ordered for myself and my husband was so tough they could have been used for the soles of shoes. We had a salad - not great but okay. The potatoes - mashed - really large lumps presume they were aiming for smashed potatoes - they failed. Staff very friendly and efficient. My first visit and it will certainly be my one and only. There are too many restaurants in Cary to repeat a bad experience

Yelp
First timer but will be back. The food was flavorful, hot and quick. Went with coworkers and everyone enjoyed their meal. Burgers are pasture to table and delicious!! I had the one with fried green tomatoes and bacon. The sweet potato fries were golden and crispy and the root beer float was delicious. Service was excellent. Our waiter was quick and attentive and even the manager came around to check on us. A bit pricy for a burger, but it was a delicious. Typical bar set up. Restroom was clean. I will return to try some other menu items.

Yelp
Arrived on a Sunday at lunch time. It wasn't busy and we were seated promptly. We ordered burgers and they arrived promptly as well. However that's where it ended. The burgers came out and looked great but first bite told me that it had not been seasoned. That pretty much ruined it for me. There was no salt or pepper on the table so I couldn't season it myself either. The chipotle burger was nothing to write home about. My burger was ordered medium well and half of it came over cooked. The burger also was cold. Made me think it was maybe put on the grill to warm up or something and they did a bad job of it. For something that sounded like it was going to deliver flavor, it was very bland. The best part was the fried jalapeños. 40 is a lot to spend for 4 pieces of good fried jalapeño on top of a burger. My partners burger was also very bland and he had to doctor it up to enjoy it. The food looked far better than it tasted. We waited longer for the check than we did our meal and while waiting overhear a waitress asking the couple just seated if they had been there before. Then we heard her telling them a little bit about the restaurant, where the beef was sourced, etc. we were asked the same question but we're only told that she hoped we enjoyed the meal and we were in for a treat. I was so unimpressed with the server after I overheard the other server doing a much better job. As for prices, I don't mind spending money on good food, but I hate spending good money on food that supposed to be good and doesn't deliver. Probably will not go back. Maybe this was a one off experience, but I won't bother going back for a chance of another not so great meal.

Yelp
Went for late dinner Friday night with my wifeMemorial day weekend. THE place was dead and Noone at the bar. TAZZA KITCHEN ACROSS THE STREET WAS PACKED OUTSIDE. My wife ordered the pretzels for an app and the Brisket burger. I ordered the Burbon chicken. Pretzels seemed microwaved then fried or could just have been old and fried. They were freezerburned chewy and then a bit hard or over fried. I would not get them again. My wife's burger was good I am told for 15.99. Now for the major disappointment of the evening, the Burbon chicken that the waiter said was amazing. Chicken was overcooked and hard. Definitely pretty sliced and left out. The sauce was good but the chicken was dried out and hard. I sent I back to the kitchen to be re-made. When it came out it was harder than the first. This was grilled not fried and I prefer grilled. This was not edible. To my dismay the dish should have been served over rice and a vegetable. It was served over rice, veg and with mashed potatoes with really heavy garlic and butter. No idea why except for the fact the portion was small. And that was $22.00. I decided to cut my losses and leave. I ALSO ordered A SIDE OF CUCUMBER tomato and BLACKEYED PEA SALAD AS A SIDE. The MANAGER SAID IT JAS BEEN ON THE MENU FOR 12 YEARS. I say it's not terrible but I think the recipe definitely needs to be tweaked. Some other issues in the dining area. We're that there were 4 Tv's on the wall and only one was turned on. I asked when we came in if they could turn it on and the hostess said sure. WHEN WE LEFT ONLY 1 TV WAS ON. I ALSO DO notPT like thE FACT THAT THE TERRIAKI MEATBALLS CONTAINED BACOn and sO DID THE BUFFALO MEATLOAF.. I will not return to this establishment.

Yelp
I lived down the street from this location for a number of years. I was recently in the area and feeling nostalgic for my favorite veggie burger. They did not disappoint.

Yelp
2.5 stars. Ambiance nice. Drink options good. Prices on beers were good, other drinks to high at ~$12.50. Some drinks don't show prices which is a sign! Wait staff was great. Food was pretty good but we were expecting better. Wasn't bad. Salmon dish was well liked by my daughter. Mom and Dad had different burgers. Both were cooked medium but were a bit dry even through there were pink inside. Could tell the beef was good quality but maybe not enough fat percentage. So, medium cook made for dry. Not sure. Fries looked crispy but most were soggy. Could see the oil in the fries. Seems the oil needs changing or they sat out too long. Might have been prepared in advance. Overall average means disappointed and won't return.

Yelp
Service was truly outstanding and during RTP Restaurant Week as well. Food was good and only one in our party of 4 didn't think the quinoa bowl had enough protein added, but other than that our service, drinks, and even the appetizer we ordered--(which was no longer an advertised menu item)--had decent portion sizes and all was hot, fresh and served quickly. I will return!!!

Yelp
I've become a semi-regular at TribecaTavern. The food and ambience are very good there, but the service is even better. Serena is one of the servers there and does an excellent job, one of the reasons I keep coming back. Always makes sure my food comes out exactly as I order and my glass is always full. Always a pleasure to see here there. Wendell

Yelp
I felt a little under dressed as I walked in and realized it was a lot nicer place than I expected. They welcomed my t shirt and trucker hat at the bar, though. I loved the decor in the place. Every wall had cool whiskey stuff. They brew their own beer in Fayetteville and I went with their Hoppy Days. It was pretty good. The real star at the bar was the HUGE whiskey list. Bourbon, Canadian, rye, Irish, etc...they had TONS of bottles! I ordered the Wolfpack burger (the burgers were all named after NC college teams). It was great. The waffle sweet potato fries were also solid. Awesome service at the bar, solid prices, great burger, cool decor, and tons of whiskey options make this is a fun stop.

Cheryl D.

Yelp
The California salad was delicious. Service was quick but the server made a snarky comment as we left because we sat and chatted awhile- restaurant was more than 1/2 empty so we were not hindering any other diners. I was appalled, however by how filthy it was. We sat at a booth and the wall head food splatters all over it. There was a framed picture above the table that had food all over it. This place definitely needs a deep clean!

Yelp
We came for a late lunch about yesterday and we're probably greeted by a delightful hostess, who then also became our waitress. She gave a wonderful summation of what pastor plate meant and talked about their brewery, as well as their beef and their burgers. We felt really well informed about our choices, we chose to split the French dip and french fries and for the life of me. I cannot imagine how one person can eat all of that food. We were both stuffed until after 8 PM last night. the place is light and air and huge and offers outdoor seating under roof as well as booths and tables. We will definitely go back.

Yelp
The servers were very nice, restaurant atmosphere is very welcoming. Only downfall I had was I really wanted the Parmesan truffle fries, but they wouldn't let me get them unless I got a steak. Bumbed :(

Yelp
My spouse and I went here with our friends and we were impressed. On a Saturday, we were able to get seated immediately for dinner and service was great throughout. We started with zucchini chips which were 4.5/5. I had the caprese chicken sandwich which I would probably give a 3.5/5 with waffle sweet potato fries which I'd give 5/5. They also brought our table a condiments dish with ranch, ketchup, and their ranch/BBQ mixture. The ranch is the creamy kind, very good. I also had the sweet Caroline cocktail which was good. My spouse had the Wolfpack burger and enjoyed it. They also had a dirty martini which was very good- a 5/5. We would definitely go back! I'd like to try the salmon next time.

Yelp
Bottom line: Tribeca Tavern served up a great ribeye for their daily special on this visit. The steak was fantastic but the sides could have been executed a tad better. Service did the job both at the bar and at the table. The Deets: Had a chance to revisit Tribeca Tavern in Cary recently, this time as well as the majority of past trips it's been with work colleagues. I have to say I've had my share of three and four star visits, both, but this most recent one is more four star territory. Service at the bar pre-meal was good and enthusiastic. We were seated close to reservation time, and menus/drink orders were done in timely fashion. In past encounters I have enjoyed such dishes as the NC bison meatloaf, the fish & chips, their French dip, with most all being good choices. This time I ordered their special that day...the ribeye special with garlic mashed potatoes and a Caesar salad. The steak itself was done just as requested and with the butter melted on top tasted fantastic (see pic). I was very satisfied with my steak and glad I went with the special. I could have done with the potatoes creamier in consistency but they tasted good. The Caesar salad did the trick but did lack dressing (you usually find it the opposite in most places in having a lot of dressing...this one could have used more, for my taste). Service handled it all as needed this visit, all went reasonably well. A four star meal this go-around, I was happy with dining at Tribeca Tavern this time.

Yelp
Grace was great, good too. Fun ladies night out. Accommodating for a party of eight ladies.
google avatar

Karley E.

Yelp
Unimpressed. The good: the ambiance is nice with a cool bar area and great drink menu (esp if you like whiskey). Other than that, the place was nearly empty on a Friday night and the service wasn't great. The coctails (whiskey mule and old fashion) were too sweet. The special was a ribeye and it was so thin and cooked rare when medium rare was requested Not pictured was a caprese sandwich that was supposed to have chicken but was forgotten. We were there specifically for a birthday and our waitress almost forgot the birthday brownie. I wouldn't recommend this place for a special event dinner. Disappointed in our experience.

Molly C.

Yelp
The food here was mid. I didn't really like my chimichurri steak frites and I love chimichurri. The vibe is nice but the tables and chairs should be replaced. They tried to sit us outside and said there were fans but it was boiling and no one else was out there. The service was okay, I just felt like I was waiting a long time for the server to come back every time.

Yelp
Been wanting to eat here for a while, but just haven't stopped by until this past Friday night. We were seated right away which was nice. I ordered a Mojito to get started, which was bland to be honest. We then ordered the fried zucchini chips. Good flavor on the top ones, but they were really greasy and the bottom ones were just soggy with grease. They started good, but were overall somewhat disappointing. For mains, I ordered a Ribeye cooked medium / medium rare and my wife ordered the French Dip sandwich. The Steak: it was okay - nothing great, but not bad. Touch thin in my opinion. I'm surprised they managed to cook it medium with how thin it was. The outside had a really nice char. The Sandwich: again, just okay. I've had better other places. It was nice they toasted the inside of the bread, but they gave such little au jus to dip it into, it was empty by the first half of the sandwich. (You can see in the picture there was barely any in the dish) Fries were good but could be crispier. Also, some were stuck together - were they frozen like this? IDK. Overall, I probably won't be back since it was all just "meh".

Yelp
Nice spot for an afternoon lunch or Friday night hangout with friends and family. Loves the atmosphere and the dishes. Those zucchini chips are an ABSOLUTE MUST!!! I could eat those alllllll day. The burger is was good, wedge was pretty decent, and I enjoyed the shrimp and grits. I'd definitely come back and try more items off the menu.

Yelp
Came in for a date night and the service was ok at first. Towards the end, we were completely ignored. We spent 30 min waiting outside waving at cameras, trying to flag down a front desk person, and trying to get the attention of any of the staff.

Yelp
You can always get a table quickly here and our waitress was super attentive, always filling our drinks and asking us what we wanted. Parking is a little tricky so plan on walking a bit by the time you find a spot and doing a few circles around the lot. Outdoor seating area is covered even if it rains so super nice for a summer dinner. The menu is smaller than it used to be but there are still tons of healthy and unhealthy choices, all locally sourced! Mac n cheese bites are an awesome splurge for an appetizer and the blackened tuna is a really lite and healthy dinner with the cucumber noodles. Unfortunately they were out of veggie burgers when we went or I would have tried one! Love that they have a ton of side options as well and it's not limited to fries. Lots of good veggie options!

Yelp
I've been to Tribeca several times and it's always been consistently good. Good. Not great, not bad but not average either. I checked in on Yelp and noticed the average 3.5 star rating and was surprised by it so I read through some of the less than stellar reviews. That said, I knew their burgers were consistently good (to date) and decided to stick with that even though the shrimp + grits is actually what I was craving! We went on a Saturday night around 5:30 and it was not even close to being packed. Given the upscale tavern vibe and large bar playing the college football games, I expected it to be more crowded (as it usually was). My son and I were both pretty hungry so we started out with the wings. We requested them extra crispy with the buffalo on the side (i find when wings get to saucy, they end up soggy). They came out perfect! Crisp, large and meaty -- 8 to an order. My son ordered the most expensive thing on the menu -- their 12 oz. aged ribeye. While it was cooked a perfect medium it was not marbled like a ribeye should be. It had large knots of fat throughout and on the outside. He can usually polish off a 16 oz. ribeye no problem, but this was too fatty. The mashed potatoes and seasonal vegetable (pleasant surprise - edamame) were very tasty. I ordered the newer (to me) Carolina Courage burger which was grilled perfectly - a blackened patty with 2 kinds of spicy cheese, peppered bacon and fried jalapeños. It was spicy but not too much so - definitely not overpowering as you might expect. I'd order it again. All in all - although the reviews suggest otherwise - it's still a consistently good place. My suggestion is to stick with the burgers which is what they're known for.

Yelp
We had a great lunch date experience recently at Tribeca Tavern. Our server, Erin, provided excellent service and the food was delicious. I highly recommend the Sriracha Honey Wings and the Wolfpack Burger (with a side of house made chips). The bartender was friendly and they feature a great bourbon selection that includes local, NC whiskies (amongst many, many others). The Old Fashioned was very well-balanced and the New York Whiskey Sour (topped with a splash of Malbec) was the perfect cocktail to cool off in this hot summer heat. It's definitely the trip and will visit again.

Yelp
Tribeca Tavern is where it's at! Astonishing restaurant located in Cary NC. Beautiful dining views from the upstairs outdoor dining area. Delicious and perfectly cooked local foods from NC farms. Shop local! Delicious alcoholic beverage choices. Fast and friendly service. What's there not to like? There is nothing, this place is perfect! Check it out!

Yelp
Returned to Tribeca Tavern, only this time we dined inside. We arrived with a large group and no reservation. The restaurant was nearly empty, so the employees pushed some tables together and seated us right away. We started with the pickle chips and zucchini chips. The zucchini chips were over cooked and tasted burnt. The pickle chips on the other hand were cooked perfectly. They did not last long at the table. As an entree, I chose the NC Berry and Shrimp Salad. The salad was full of fresh ingredients and was accompanied by a flavorful vinaigrette. The shrimp unfortunately were over-seasoned and thus salty. Our server seemed new, however, he was friendly and attentive. We enjoyed our meal and would recommend this restaurant to others!

Yelp
We went here for some live music, food, and drinks. The nachos were amazing, for sure, and looked pretty, too. Loved all the different flavors. They had a huge drink collection and something for every taste. I liked that they had signature cocktails and that you could pick your liquor and mix it with add-on list of ingredients they put together. Friendly server, especially considering we moved twice due to the size of our party. As far as the music goes, I did not like that the setup was outside and with no heaters or heat source. If there had been warming lamps or something to help keep warm, it would've been okay. I can get past not having chairs and seating outside. The set up was right in front of the parking lot and it seems like there would have been room inside to set up.

Yelp
I was sold when the server told us everything was made locally and meat was cut here as well. I started with a RTP cocktail made with Carolina rum, it was pretty good. They have a very wide selection of bourbon and beers! For appetizers I had the fried pickles ( never go wrong with that ) and he Mac and cheese balls, y'all it was some good cheese!! I had the Caprese Sandwich with sweet potato fries ( I love me some sweet potato fries!!)

Yelp
I came here one Saturday night around 8/8:30 for dinner with a bachelorette party. The group had about 20/25 ladies in it. We had a reservation. Unfortunately some of the group was running late, but they had our table ready for us. It was clear that the restaurant was not used to hosting large parties. Firstly, they had one server assigned to this large party. Although he was doing the best he could, he was not equipped to deal with large parties at all. It was too much for him. Eventually another server came in to help out and she was great! She honestly should've been assigned our table in the first place. They did a decent job of accommodating the large party, but I would never have 1 server take a large party like that alone. It all worked out in the end though. Now on to the important stuff...The food. The food was delicious! I would've given 3 stars due to the lack of prep for a large party, but the food gave them another star for sure. Me and another lady shared the Mac & Cheese Balls and they were amazing! They were fried perfectly and the sauce was creamy and delicious! We also shared the Honey Sriracha Wings which were also delicious as well. A good combination of sweet and spicy. I ordered the Ginger Pear cocktail which was good, but had a bit too much ginger for my personal tastes. Overall it was a good experience. I would definitely return again with a smaller group.

Yelp
(*1st Experience) (Lunch)We had a wonderful experience, and we are looking forward to more visits. /great service and food!! (*2nd Experience)(Dinner) Service so-so food was just as good as the first time. (*3rd Experience (Dinner)- My husband and I loved it so much that we brought our daughters to share our amazing experiences. It was very sad one of my daughter's ordered the steak and she was so disappointed so she sent it back, My husband steak was over cooked and it took about 20 minutes for my husband to receive his food, The manager brought it out and said "we gave you dome extra potatoes for your inconvenience" lol. My daughter's and I had completed our food, and my husband had to later. So we did not get the experience of enjoying our meal together as a family, Next to add salt to the fire our waitress just stop serving us, she was taking others guess plates away never asked us if we needed anything. Our table was so crowded that I had to move our plates to another table. We never got refills from her, and then when the check arrived, it literally took her 4 times to get our checks correct . My family still tipped her. *(4th) Experience,(Lunch) yes we went back because we wanted to give them another chance, Service was sub-par, the manager and hostess are very uninviting staff definitely need some training starting with the management. I asked a staff member for direction to the restroom, which was very cold and short. My husband's wings were so hard and dry that he had a hard time eating them. So they took the wings off the bill. My husband asked for his military discount, and the waitress told him that she could only do one discount bc they took the wings off the check. so we mess up your food so you don't get your stupid military discount that we offer. Who cares about your sacrifice for our country.

Yelp
Great food and great service. I requested we were seated outside. We were quickly seated and started our meal off with the crab dip. It wasn't my favorite crab dip but it wasn't bad either. My sister ordered the Wolfpack burger and she said it was killer! Cooked beautifully and the toppings complimented the other toppings so well! The onion straws were nice and crispy and the fries nice and crunchy! I ordered the fish and chips. Again, not my favorite but I'm not blaming them for that. I prefer a lighter batter to the batter they used on these. The French fries were flavored wonderfully. I'll definitely be returning to try some of the other options on the menu.

Yelp
I honestly can't believe this place is still standing. The food is weak, service is shady, but their dipping sauces are good? Ambiance: looks awesome but is gross; the banister on the stairs was sticky, the floors were grimy, and most of the tables on the patio wobble horribly. Food: First we ordered their chimichurri steak fries which was the most pitiful piece of meat that drowned in the giant white plate, its gentle squirt of sauce did nothing to hide the fact that it was 25% fat. We also ordered a burger with pepper jack cheese which had zero spice, weird. Service: The final straw was the side soup debacle of 2024, when a giant bowl came out we asked the server to confirm that it was a side soup, we were told it was just our lucky day! Then the check came and when we asked about the soup charge we were met with a weird excuse about the specials menu that we didn't even order from. The awkward silence that followed wasn't worth the few extra bucks so we paid it and agreed to never go back. Insult to injury: despite the weak flavor we both somehow had horrible belly aches. Hence why this review is being written at 3 AM Oh, their ranch and Dijon creama are phenomenal.

Yelp
Great place if you are looking for reliable good food that is sourced locally. Everything we had was delicious and reasonably priced. Highly recommend any of the burgers and the spicy chicken sandwich. Only reason for missing a star is the service got slower as the night progressed. Our server had a larger table ordering a lot of drinks and unfortunately, it felt like we got lost in the shuffle. Will definitely be back as the food was great and would like to try eating on the terrace when the weather is nicer.

Yelp
Honestly I had low expectations when first walking in because it wasn't a diverse crowd at all. I was thinking it would be mediocre food at best, but I am happy to say I was wrong!! I went with a couple of friends and we ordered the spinach dip and ribblets for apps. Both were delicious! The spinach dip had a nice garlic flavor added and the ribs were cooked to perfection. I had chicken tenders and fries which is kinda hard to mess up but the ranch was the star of my plate lol. Everything was so delicious and I would go back in a heartbeat. The only one thing I didn't like was how busy our server was and it took so long for her to come back to us but I didn't take off the star for it because with Covid and everything a lot of local businesses are having a hard time with employees.

Yelp
This place is HUGE with a big bar!! It's dimly lit so it's perfect for anyone wanting a nice date spot. Their claim to fame is the 400 + whiskeys you can order. They also have a cool Build Your Own Cocktail option. You pick the whiskey and go from there. They also brew their own beer and their Mash IPA is not too bad! The food did not disappoint either. My friend and I were craving salads and after reading reviews, I knew this is where we would get our fix. We started with the Mac and Cheese Balls and yeah...those were amazing!! I'm not sure what the sauce is but I can put that on anything! My friend got the Coastal Salad but with chicken instead of shrimp and really enjoyed it. IT was spinach, red peppers, avocado and candied pecans. I believe she added some kind of cheese too. I ordered the mountain salad and it might be my favorite salad I've had in 2019. My salad came with a medium filet, mixed greens, walnuts, apples, Gorgonzola crumbles, NC apples and mash house cider vinaigrette dressing. Lastly, the service was on point too. Our bartender knew his cocktails very well and had a lot of insights on what we should we order. We really enjoyed having him wait on us. See you soon Tribeca!
