Chef Daniel Asher Is Building Golden’s First Food Hall | Eater Denver

"Set to arrive by late winter at 701 12th Street, Tributary Market & Drinkery will be the smaller of Golden’s two new food halls — a 3,000-square-foot space housing eight food and drink stalls. Owned by chef Daniel Asher and restaurateur Josh Dinar, I expect Asher’s planned “micro restaurant” and a cocktail bar to anchor the hall alongside local vendors already secured: Kona Bowls, Woodgrain Bagels, Generous Coffee, and a sandwich shop by the chef of Denver’s Brider. Asher says it "will very much be a hub for Colorado agriculture and growers and makers and artisans and crafters," and his other projects (including River and Woods, an Israeli restaurant in LoHi, and a Turkish food stall at Broadway Market) suggest the kind of culinary perspective he brings." - Josie Sexton

We had breakfast and afternoon snacks here several times and were pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food for a hotel restaurant. The Birria Quesadilla is fantastic- you can ask for it even if it's not on the menu. Breakfast items were huge and service was friendly.

It's definitely a great add to the Marriott experience. They are all amazing. Starting with the amazing service from Chelsea on the bar and Rene managing behind the scenes. When I am on SAT, it is my pleasure to come after every long day of work. I even tried breakfast, and they do have some great chilaquiles. I will come back again and again..

Everything we ordered was cooked to perfection! We tried the brunch menu and one dish that stood out was the sweet tea bacon. It is thick cut, had a smokey taste, and was really tender. It had a nice big bar that separated the two dining areas. Definitely recommend this place for some delicious eats!

Top notch food and service! We booked a business dinner here with bourbon pairings and education. It was amazing! Big props to the chef and so much credit to Fernando and Katrina, who took care of our group. Fernando even had more bourbon education after Woodford Reserve shared their knowledge. Everything was beautifully prepared and cooked to perfection. If you have an event in San Antonio, this is a great spot to host a large group of clients.

We went to celebrate my mother's birthday it was disappointing because we thought it was an actual restaurant inside the hotel but it's actually in the lobby for people come in and out and check in and check out the menu section of plates I expected something to eat with fork and knife but it's mostly sandwiches, although the food fills the plate it still seems a little expensive for just sandwiches and fries the chicken tortilla soup was served in a plate shaped bowl more like chili. I made reservations online 3 weeks in advance thinking it was going to be a nice fancy setting

My Partner and I went for Easter Brunch on 3.31.24. I was so excited because it was the 1st time in 14 years that I wasn't hosting or going to a family dinner for Easter. I even made reservations a month and a half early. So the big day arrives and I'm wearing my dress I bought just for this event. It starts out well enough. We are seated at a table for 4. Then a few minutes after we are seated, we ask for a waitress so we can order some drinks. Then a few minutes later they ask us if we can move to a smaller table. Ok... We move because we think that they have some people coming who need that space. There were around 3 tables that seat 4 that were never occupied the whole hour we were there. Not sure what that was about. Then the table we were re seated at had this huge wheel chair taking up the whole side of the table. It was a small table. It didn't belong to anyone that we were aware of. None of the staff mentioned anything. One of the waitresses did say oh, no it can stay there without any further explanation. My Partner asked if it could be removed from the table. The manager and others had a conversation about it while looking over at the table. It was very uncomfortable. My Partner wasn't rude when asking for it to be removed. I guess they thought they were rude because that set the tone for the whole meal. Please correct me if I'm wrong but you are supposed to get a clean plate each time you visit the buffet right? The plates were big and there wasn't room for more than 2 plates at a time. For example, if you have your main course and then are ready for dessert, there's room for another plate. Nobody comes by to pick it up. You have to ask, it was pretty awkward. The tip was already included for the meal so in no way were they going to be cheated out of it. My Partner ordered a drink also and tipped on that. The food was ok and they did their best to keep it stocked. Overall, I'm trying to focus on the positive experience that I had being with my Partner. If we decide to have Easter Brunch somewhere next year, we might try somewhere else.

Immediately after check in it was time for lunch. The bar area was lively with lots of movement. Our server was friendly. The Old 18 burger minus the bacon was delish UNTIL a long strand of hair was in my next to last bite🤮. The manager, Russell apologized and asked, “is there anything I can do” 🤔 I’m not sure what the protocol is in this situation? No thank you on another meal. It wasn’t until he said, “This happens in 5 Star restaurants”, that I was even more disgusted. Understanding that these things happen, this was the absolute wrong response. Tributary, are hair nets a thing of the past? Overall, great bar with a good vibe but management could use sensitivity training.
