Wow. Would give 0 stars if i could. I wish I would’ve read the reviews before buying—I would have stayed away. Also, I’m shocked at how many positive reviews this company has based on everything I’ve experienced. Like I genuinely do not know how someone could write positive reviews on the food. It’s awful. I love Icon meals (another prep company) and wanted something with vegan options so I could stop eating meat & tried Trifecta. My standards were very high considering Icon has great food, packing and customer service. I am extremely disappointed with Trifecta and haven’t even had the food for a week. See below for reasons. 1) Food is not packaged well (was refunded for items that were not packaged correctly). 2) Was sent incorrect food. I ordered vegan options and was sent multiple meat dishes. 3) The food is really horrible—practically inedible because it’s so gross. 4) The customer service is very inattentive. They did give me a refund however it almost seemed like they were unbothered by the issues I was having. I should have taken my fist conversation with them as a warning. I have lots of allergies and when I was asking questions about what was in the food it seemed like I was bothering the person on the other end & that they wanted to get me off the phone quickly. This continued to happen. Any other food service is what I recommend.

I’ve been using Trifecta for about a couple of months now and have been very satisfied with the meals. I’ve been very impressed with the taste overall, they’re definitely delicious! This service is perfect for me because it’s easy, microwaveable and they pick the meals after you specify the style you want(paleo, keto etc). The taste has been delicious and surprised because it’s a prepackaged. You can definitely cook it on a skillet if you have the time for the best dining experience but for time saving purposes, the microwave is for me. I’ve only had two issues, two meals that were weird tasting but customer service had no problem fixing the issue with credits etc. The variety is great & overall it’s a great service. The new packaging is definitely a lot more awesome. Easier to take off the label and microwaving with this version is a lot easier with the side pull tab. Shout out to Greg Connolly too!

I decided to try Trifecta because of the Chase freedom unlimited credit card advertisement and discount. - The meals arrived half frozen, not sure if they were supposed to be frozen or just cold. - the packages are white plastic boxed with shredded food inside covered with compressed nylon. looks awful. - when I opened the packages the food is like one mush half soup. with a lot of liquids. -It also tastes terrible. After receiving the first delivery I tried to reach customer service several times. And on the 3rd day I managed to reach out. They told me that I will have to pay for the next delivery because of their policy. you need to cancel the delivery on the day that the previous delivery arrives. When I complained about the liquids they suggested that I drain them before eating. They were very stubborn and there was nothing I could do to cancel the next delivery which I will throw out. My last resort was to file a dispute with the credit card company.

UPDATED 6/14/23: To be fair, after posting this review, I was contacted via email by one of Trifecta’s sales managers and was refunded all of my money even though I was told this was outside of their “100% money back guarantee” policy. Although I am very grateful, I still stand by my original review as I think Trifecta’s marketing practices are very misleading and the actual food you receive does not remotely resemble what is represented on their website. I think if you believe that strongly in your product, then post actual pictures of the meals that are being purchased and let the consumer decide. *** You might want to think twice before ordering from this company . . . I really try not to write a negative review unless it’s warranted and I’m afraid this one does. First, let me say the food tastes terrible. And when I say terrible, I mean it’s really terrible and almost inedible. The same base flavor seems to be in every meal and overall they are completely unappetizing in appearance, smell, and taste. All the meals truly look and taste like the same hash with a couple of different ingredients. Seriously, how can someone make a simple egg and sausage dish taste so bad? Are they powdered eggs? My husband will eat just about anything and even he didn’t like Trifecta’s food and went so far as to say that it looked and tasted like cat food. I’m not sure he knows exactly what cat food tastes like but I think you get his meaning. Of the 20 meals we received (10 breakfasts and 10 dinners), we threw away every single one of them after only a couple of bites, with the exception of one salmon dish. I’m just amazed anyone could write a positive review for this food. Second, I think it’s very shady to be charged for the second week’s billing before we even had a chance to taste the food from the first week’s delivery. Note the delivery for the first week was made on a Friday and we were charged for the second week’s delivery the very next day on a Saturday. When I tried to cancel the second week’s order on that Monday after trying the first four meals, the customer service rep was unable to accommodate my request and I was charged yet another $164.98, where all of it went in the trash. Note my cancellation request was made on a Monday for something that wasn’t planned to ship until that Friday but yet they couldn’t accommodate my request. Hmmm. When I again emailed their customer service team to invoke the “100% money back guarantee”, I was refunded a whopping $54.25 from my first order only and my second shipment still proceeded forward. So, my “100% money back guarantee” cost me a little over $200 for completely inedible food. If you’re considering ordering food from this company, I would seriously think twice and read a few more of their reviews (which I wish I had done!) instead of falling prey to the slick marketing on their website. If you are still compelled to try them out for the convenience like I was and think the other negative reviews are just a fluke, I would highly recommend that you immediately pause your subscription as soon as you press the subscribe button so you get a fair opportunity to try the food before automatically getting charged for the second week. Personally, my recommendation is to avoid this company altogether as I think they have very poor business practices. I could overlook the bad tasting food and even not getting all of my money back for the first week’s order despite their 100% money back guarantee, but to still ship the second week and charge me an additional $164.98 even though I notified them 5 business days prior to shipping that I wanted to cancel my subscription because we disliked the food, that’s just not a company I want to do business with or one that I would consider ethical.

I just received my first shipment, and I am horrified!! Let me show you what you ACTUALLY get! I ordered 14 meals, and every. single. one. Is punctured and ruined. I would never trust the food or integrity of this company!

We were extremely unsatisfied with our meals and have requested a refund based on their “Money Back Guarantee”. HOWEVER, they will only refund up to 10-meals (didn't see that in the fine print!). After our first week we canceled but unfortunately, not soon enough as we were locked in for the next shipment and they got paid while we threw away their inedible meals. Of the approximately 24 meals we received, we only found around 5 of the meals edible (with doctoring). The breakfasts were all disposed of as were the other meals. I provided photos below. Ask any chef and they'll tell you that you eat with your eyes first. The images on the website all look incredibly delicious but they are NOT what we received. The meals we received look so unappealing that most of them wound up in the trash before even being opened as time in the oven, in a pan or in the microwave would not do anything to improve them enough to want to eat them. Beige food is NOT at all something that whets our appetites. Also, ALL of the veg is overcooked and cooked even more when reheating losing any nutritional value. We ordered the breakfasts because we were tired of scrambled eggs and turkey sausage/bacon. What did we get? Scrambled eggs and turkey sausage with veg! Or bland ground beef Fritattas. We were hoping to see something different but no luck. Another disappointment is that not only do you NOT have an option to select your meals (for example, I don't eat Teriyaki), you are also not provided with a menu or any nutritional information so you don't know what you're getting until it arrives. For meals at this price, I expect more. Especially since they are at the higher price end of Keto food delivery. Some of the food combinations and titles were a bit..misleading as well.. For example, I never thought I would find cauliflower in my 'Fajitas' or ground beef as the name 'Fajita' would imply strips of meat. Also, I was expecting Fajita veggies like onions and peppers (I know they're higher in carbs but in that limited amount, hardly enough to not include them), not cauliflower. The dish definitely didn't taste like Fajitas either. If you order the steak at any point, be prepared for lots of chewing satisfaction (that is NOT a compliment)! We found the Keto Teriyaki Chicken had NO Teriyaki but LOTS of vinegar, it as inedible. The Keto Beef Strogonoff was sour and inedible. The Paleo Salmon with Brussel Sprouts had zero seasoning and was inedible. The Teriyaki Salmon was a salt BOMB and inedible. The list goes on. All in all, the meals we tried were are all so disappointing that we find the multiple-star reviews VERY surprising. One final point..we ordered Keto and Paleo. The Paleo arrived the day after the Keto on one occasion and the with the next order, the Keto arrived 2 days after the Paleo. We were originally with Factor but thought we'd try something different. That was a mistake! I highly recommend Factor over Trifecta any day!

I ordered a shipment of 14 meals with trifecta and received them promptly. Their website was easy to use and made the meals look appetizing. When I received the order, most of the meals appeared decent but noticed almost every meal contained sweet potato as a carb source. I cannot stress enough how disgusting each meal was. Some meals had a weird combination of ingredients such as salmon with sweet potatoes and pico de gallo. The meals were absolutely terrible and hard to swallow. I could not finish my meals and had to throw them away due to how bad the texture and taste was. The breakfast meals were also disgusting and the egg Harley looked like actual egg. Texas beef with tomato appeared like a stew more than a plate. I went to cancel my subscription before the next meals were processed and they told me it was too late even though I wanted to cancel the following day after my first delivery. I then received a second set of 14 meals and they were the same; disgusting. I’m not sure how people can consume these meals and think they taste good. The meals lack flavor and as mentioned before, some combination of ingredients are odd and just don’t go well together. Steer clear of this company.

Received my very first order. Very disappointed over their Ad(using famous athletes). Inside of box was total mess. Many of food containers(paper) were smashed, food exposed out of containers and leaking all over. Some of them I had to toss. Also not easy to deal with customer service. I wanted to cancel next shipment but they refused, even it is a week away due to production issue. They stated “You are one of more than over 10000 Clints we have, we are unable to pull your next production”. Totally dissatisfied for their service.
