The fact that this place has a 4.5 star rating surprises me. This is quite honestly one of my top dining experiences of my life. The entrees were expertly prepared, served by a wonderful server. Rebekah was attentive but not overbearing. They have local specialty drinks and spirits. The cheese cake with Huckleberry topping was the pinnacle of our night.

Food was amazing! We had the chicken flatbread, which was delicious. My wife enjoyed the amazing Black Pine cocktail and I got a great Old Fashioned. They had several good choices of bourbon for my Old Fashioned, which was very nice. The server was very attentive and the restaurant manager made our experience fantastic!

Very eclectic mix of food - from Szechuan (Chinese) cauliflower to Schnitzel (German) with Grano Arso (Italian) to Cajun (French/Acadian) Mac N Cheese. It was all very delicious, along with our cocktails. Our server was so sweet but a little difficult to understand. We were disappointed to learn that Happy Hour was not available on Friday evenings or hockey evenings - which had been our primary reason for trying out Trillium. Overall, it was a lovely experience. Would recommend.

My wife and I came here yesterday to celebrate an early Father's Day. We made reservations for 5:30 pm. Trillium is located in the Grove Hotel in downtown Boise, on Capitol near Front St. We parked in public parking for $6. We didn't realize that the restaurant was located in the hotel. It's a nice hotel, and we made a note of it for future reference, in case we wanted to stay downtown sometime. Turns out that at 5:30 on a Wednesday the place was not busy at all. In fact, in our section there was only one other patron. I liked that we had the place all to ourselves. The ambience is very nice, tables with comfortable chairs, a touch of elegance with a little bit of a retro vibe in the bar area. Our server, and I neglected to get her name, was very nice, very helpful, and provided excellent service. My wife had the short rib entree and I had the bison grilled cheese sandwich and fries. All delicious. I hesitate to recommend the lemon New York cheesecake, because we did not taste much lemon, which I love. We're already discussing coming back to try the fish and chips. I recommend Trillium for the delicious food and excellent service.

Absolutely loved my experience at Trillium for breakfast! The food was delicious—everything from the fluffy pancakes to the perfectly cooked eggs was spot on. Mallory was incredibly friendly and attentive, making sure our coffee cups were always full. She also gave us great recommendations for off the beaten path activities and site to see that made our trip to Boise fabulous. We will definitely be coming back to The Grove and starting our day off eating at Trillium next time we’re in Boise. The cozy atmosphere made it the perfect place to start the day. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a fantastic breakfast. Five stars!

From the moment we stepped into Trillium, we were greeted with a warmth that only foreshadowed the exceptional dining experience to come. The ambiance of the restaurant set a perfect stage for what was an unforgettable culinary journey. This was a great place to celebrate our mother's 88th birthday paired with Christmas tree lighting event in the plaza. Our taste buds were first tantalized by the Crispy Brussel Sprouts and Szechwan Cauliflower. These starters were not just appetizers but a bold statement of flavor and creativity. The Brussel Sprouts were perfectly crispy, and the Szechwan Cauliflower had just the right amount of spice to kickstart our meal. The main courses were a parade of excellence. The Steelhead Trout Cubano was a delightful twist on a classic, offering a unique blend of flavors that was both refreshing and satisfying. The Beef & Portobello Stroganoff was a rich, hearty dish that comforted the soul, while our guests reflected that the New York Steak Frites was cooked to perfection, with each bite better than the last. Our mother had the Ancho Short Ribs that she said was tender and flavorful and melted in her mouth. The Steelhead Trout was another highlight served with fregola sarda which I tried and it was great, showcasing the kitchen's ability to perfectly cook seafood along with a pasta you don't commonly see on a menu. Our other guest had the Fish & Chips and she stated they were done right, with a crispy batter and flaky fish inside. Our other guest had the Smoke and Fire Pizza and said it was surprising very good, with a perfect balance of smoky and spicy flavors. Our son had the Cajun Shrimp Mac & Cheese that he thoroughly enjoyed, creamy and packed with just the right amount of heat. But it wasn't just the food that made our experience at Trillium exceptional. The service was impeccable. The staff were attentive without being intrusive, knowledgeable, and genuinely passionate about ensuring our dining experience was nothing short of perfect. In conclusion, Trillium is not just a restaurant; it's a gastronomic haven. The chefs clearly know their craft, and their passion for food shines through in every dish. This is a place where every meal is not just eaten but celebrated. We left with satisfied palates and the anticipation of our next visit. Trillium is, without a doubt, a gem that deserves all the accolades it receives.

Came in for mothers day, the option for breakfast until later was great for our late start. Had the benedicts (my favorite), and great mimosas. Our server, Amanda, was wonderful, and friendly even at her busiest. Will definitely come back to try dinner. 5 star experience!

Google
I didn't know this place existed until today. I was looking for a nice place to celebrate my birthday and this popped up. The food was amazing, however, the service was stellar. Amanda is the definition of customer service. She was friendly, personable, and on top of her game. If you opened a business you'd want her as your head trainer and manager. She was upfront and honest. I'll definitely be returning not only because of her, but she is a huge reason. Prices are reasonable and the food was delicious. You should stop in if only for a cocktail. 10/10 would recommend.

Yelp
I absolutely love this place! Each time I came in for breakfast, Sam waited on me, he greeted me with a smile, he was very friendly and made me feel at home, also made excellent food suggestions, as well as going above and beyond by getting me everything I wanted. Every team member working here, made. me feel welcome and not rushed, even if I asked several questions. Let's talk about their scrumptious breakfast! The almond crusted French toast was mouthwatering! Sam, made sure I had extra white chocolate honey and my meal arrived in no time at all! He even packed up what I was unable to finish. A big thank you to all of the staff ! I will make sure to recommend this place to everyone who visits Boise!

Yelp
I asked my friend where he wanted to go for his birthday breakfast and without hesitation he said Trillium. I made us a reservation at 10 for today. I didn't know how busy it was going to be since The Grove is such a popular hotel. I didn't have a bad nor good experience last time so I made sure I came in with an open mind this time around. Walking in, I was instantly greeted by 2 gentleman. Santos let me choose a booth or table. I loved the emerald green love seats at the booth so I sat and waited for the birthday boy. My server was busy with another table so Santos was kind and got my coffee started. Amanda came and greeted us. The birthday boy showed up not much after my coffee was dropped off . She got our orders squared away and more coffee refilled for us. I checked the menu out online and the birthday boy is a regular so we knew what we wanted. Ordering was fast and easy today. I got the classic breakfast today. 2 eggs, sausages and fruit. The eggs were cooked perfectly, I wanted them fried a little harder since I passed on the toast today. My favorite part of my meal was the fruit cup. Talk about an amazing fruit cup. There were your basic watermelon, grapes, pineapple, cantaloupe and honeydew but it also had raspberry, blueberries, cherries, strawberries and blackberries. You got a healthy portion of fruit and it was so fresh. You also get two sausages with your classic breakfast, I had one. The sausage was kinda hard and dry, it wasn't that good. Amanda was sweet and got Tod a birthday treat. He picked orange creme brulee. This dessert was perfection. The sugar crust was crunchy and a little bitter so complimented the sweet orange creme nicely. The orange creme was delightful and rich. I love the fresh strawberries and blackberries on top. The strawberries and orange creme was the ultimate bite. It was an impeccable birthday treat! I appreciate that everyone came and said hi to Tod. Everyone was so nice and helpful. When Amanda wasn't available, someone was always checking up on us. I love that they recognize Tod as a regular and the servers interacted with him. It's transactions like that that make me miss serving so much, the relationships you create with your customers. Today was a good visit at Trillium. I know I'll be back for the orange creme brulee. It was too good not to have again.

Yelp
I host a lot of clients and perspective clients for lunches, dinners, and happy hours. I had never been to Trillium previously and decided to take a couple of clients here for lunch one afternoon. The restaurant is located inside a hotel, and of course, there is nothing wring with that at all. The interior is well appointed, and if I had to describe the decor in one word, it would be "conservative". What does this mean? It appears as if a bunch of banking professionals would be very comfortable here...not hip or trendy, just...conservative. The food echoed the atmosphere; safe, predictable, but nothing to write home about of sit up and notice. The wait staff was great - making jokes and read the table very well. In the end, it was a solid lunch but again, no "wow" factor. So, if you are looking for a middle of the road yet classy place to have a predictable, solid lunch, drop on in!

Yelp
Great spot for breakfast - terrific server Amanda took care of us. The omelet was delicious and you have a choice of sides. I highly recommend the local Acme bread toasted, accompanied by scrumptious huckleberry jam. The cheddar cheese biscuits and gravy were underwhelming-- gravy needed so much more seasoning and were disappointing., especially at this price point. The eggs were cooked as ordered. Excellent coffee. Weird encounter with the host when we walked in. I asked him if we could still get breakfast because it was a few minutes before 11 when breakfast service ends. He said "No" without any smile so I didn't realize he was just acting out his apparently snarky self. Way to start with a poor impression man!

Yelp
We stopped by for a Saturday brunch. The valet quickly grabbed our car and verified where we were heading. When dining at Trillium you are allowed 3 hours complimentary valet parking. A nice start. The restaurant was quite attractive and presents well. We were quickly led to our table and drink order was taken as we were sitting down (just tea and coffee). As we began to overlook the menu, beverages arrived. The timing was perfect. We ordered the Belgian Waffle, the Almond French Toast, and an omelette. Our sides were all fruit as no one was on the mood for potatoes. The food arrived and we were delighted across the board. Everything was delicious and accompanied with attentive but not overbearing service. I want to call out the other cell t tea service which is a rare thing in the US. Well done. Overall we were delighted and will return for dinner and future brunches.

Yelp
I got the Huckleberry BBQ Turkey + Brie Sandwich and the Farm Girl Drink. If you love ginger and kombucha you'll love the Farm Girl. It was definitely my favorite. 5/5 As for the sandwich, I didn't taste the huckleberry and there was barely any Brie. I would give it a 3/5. I wouldn't get it again. Our server was very kind and attentive and our waters were always filled without asking. The place wasn't too busy and it had a nice volume to it: not too loud or too quiet. I could hear the others at my table easily.

Yelp
We tried Trillium for the first time for my birthday and it was the perfect way to celebrate! Delicious food, amazing staff, and a pleasant ambiance. Food: 5/5. Everything from drinks to appetizers, entrees and dessert was absolutely amazing! To drink I had the Huck Rita and the Crime of Passion. Both were great, but I think I preferred the tropical flavors of the Crime of Passion. We started with the smoked trout poutine, which was phenomenal! I could not recommend it more! For entrees we had the short ribs and the steak frites. Again, phenomenal. The grits that come with the short ribs are such a delicious side. We got to torte to go for dessert and since it was my birthday they put a candle in the to go box which was such a touching thought! Service: 5/5. Everyone was very professional and our service was fairly quick. Our waters were filled continuously and the waitress was friendly and outgoing. Atmosphere: 4/5. I really liked the ambience of the restaurant. It felt modern and cozy. It was a little brighter than similar restaurants. Kid friendly: 2/5. Not somewhere I would recommend taking kids. I didn't notice a kids menu or high chairs. Save this place for a nice date night away from the kids.

Yelp
I was here in June of this year and had a bad experience. The manager invited me back and I'm so glad he did. My cocktail was delicious and my meal was incredible. My server, Shin Li was so good. She gave excellent recommendations and was fast and friendly. This is one of my favorite Boise restaurants and I will be back.

Yelp
Stayed at the hotel for five days and ate most of our meals at Trillium. Super friendly staff, nice atmosphere, and the most delicious food prepared without seed oils. Breakfast, lunch, and dinner all have great menu selections...everything was delicious and flavorful. Can't wait to come back!

Yelp
A-ok for a hotel restaurant. I ate here just for breakfast on the day I was leaving. I am from out-of-state, and every single server I had at every restaurant was so kind, very polite. Except the waitress I had here. She was very curt and a little on the rude side. My friend and I both chose the continental breakfast (which was very good), and another friend had the steak and eggs. Had our waitress been a little more personable, it probably would have been five stars.

Yelp
I've been here for lunch a few months ago and it was amazing! Came here for our Thanksgiving dinner and it was amazing again! The service, the food, everything was great. Thank you for making our dinner great!

Yelp
Trillium is located inside The Grove Hotel in downtown Boise and offers free valet parking if you dine in the restaurant. This is an upscale atmosphere with excellent, personal service. We came to check out the half price appetizers during happy hour, since their normal prices are a bit steep. Our server highly recommended the Szechuan Cauliflower and even promised she'd take it off the bill if we didn't like it. I can see why after tasting it- crunchy, slightly spicy, and packed with flavor. Similar to an orange chicken flavor but somehow better. The cauliflower was the best thing we ate! The poutine was good- there was a lot going on with the lemon heavy sauce and lots of garnish. We did enjoy it. The charcuterie board was a huge variety of meats and cheeses, my favorite was the halloumi "grilling" cheese, which is a chunk of warm cheese that's been grilled. We had a great experience here and we'll be back when we find ourselves with some extra cash! Happy hour is half off apps and discounts on beer and wine. The manager said a happy hour cocktail menu is in the works.

Yelp
As far as hotel restaurants go, fantastic! Are here for the first time and was happy with the food and service. Everything we had was rich and flavorful, and generally great. However, everything was very salty, could have been an off day and won't stop me from coming back, but that's why the star hood back, Ramp up Spirt selection of possible, cocktail menu is great, but actual variety of sports lacking. Might be a space thing since it's a lobby bar.

Yelp
Wonderful experience. The atmosphere was relaxing and beautiful. Our server was amazing. Knowledgable, personable and did a great job. The dish I ordered- Ancho Short Ribs- was incredible. Mouth-wateringly incredible. Highly highly recommend.

Yelp
We ordered two appetizers, two entrees and dessert.... Szechuan cauliflower, crab strata, Cajun shrimp mac and cheese, and the beef stroganoff. What can I say? Everything was delicious! The cauliflower was out of this world as was the beef stroganoff. Everything was homemade and very fresh. The Cajun mac and cheese had just the right amount of spice from a ghost pepper cheese, and the shrimp were cooked perfectly. The crab strata was layers of perfection with plenty of crab on top and homemade tortilla chips to bring it all to fruition! The dessert was a huckleberry s'more, again all homemade and delicious. I wish we could have tried the peach cheesecake, as that sounded delicious too, but there was just no more room to be had. Our server was an amazingly sweet lady, who was very knowledgeable and helpful in choosing our dishes. I would request her again. Her name is Li Shue. Oh, and prices were pretty reasonable too! We will return again and again!!

Yelp
I stayed at the Grove Hotel for a girls weekend and decided to give Trillium a second try. I have to say, the breakfast was amazing. We stopped in and grabbed smoothies while we chatted and they were fresh, and fruity along with just enough cream. I ordered the kids pancakes for my son. They were light and fluffy. The portion size were large! I had the chicken crepes, which were smoked to perfection. My guest had the omelet. The staff was friendly, and never missed a beat. The chef, stopped by our table with a cheerful personiality and happy grin. I am so glad I stopped in!

Yelp
I absolutely love this downtown restaurant! I have been here three times - once for dinner and drinks, once for breakfast, and once for dessert. Each visit has been incredible. My first visit, we tried the espresso martini, house cheesesteak, and Cajun mac & cheese. We loved it so much that I decided to bring my parents for brunch later that same week. My second visit, we ordered smoked salmon, frittata, huevos, rancheros, and smoked chicken crêpes. They loved every dish. During my recent visit, we just stopped by for desserts. We ordered the fruit cobbler (with oatmeal streusel, an ice cream) and the Idaho huckleberry s'more's (comes with marshmallow brûlée, milk chocolate in the shape of Idaho, ice cream). Highly recommend both desserts! I love everything about this place, and will definitely be back for the incredible food, comfortable and modern ambiance, and accommodating service!

Yelp
Decided to come here after the first restaurant food didn't work out for me. 2.5 hours later I was able to eat my meal for dinner. Trillium is at the Grove Hotel at Front and Capitol street. Parked on 9th and Front street, free parking on Sunday. Just a short walk to the hotel main entrance. I am hoping the food is good here. I tend to be a bit reticent about hotel restaurants. We at least get to hang out in downtown another night while we are in Boise. They have a nice pizza oven for their flatbreads. I ordered was the warm crab salad and the ancho roasted chicken. Ended up only grating the crab salad at the end of the meal. Bill total was $23.32. I should have ordered a cold salad. The warm crab salad takes longer. It's been 2.5 hours since my husband was able to eat his meal I refused to eat at the earlier spot. It's been a half hour and I don't have my salad yet, which I ordered as soon as we sat down. I felt hanger setting in as my blood sugar dropped. The food came out after 38 minutes after I ordered. It was the roasted chicken. Rebekah had no warm crab salad. I asked her where my crab salad was. She dropped off the chicken and said that the chef had to remake my chicken. The waitress thought I had ordered the roasted chicken instead of the crab salad. I did not. I actually came here for the warm crab salad in the first place. She asked if I wanted the crab salad. I said no thank you. Rebekah apologized for the mishap on the order and not verifying if I still wanted the salad after ordering the chicken. She ended up giving me the salad for free. She could tell I was really disappointed with receiving only the chicken. The ancho roasted chicken has some red sauce on it and it's super salty. I couldn't eat more than a bite. I had my husband try a bite to see if it was just me, he too found it to be super salty. I asked the waitress to charge me for only the warm crab salad, which was good. I told her the chicken was extremely salty. The service is really good here and they definitely know what it means to have good customer service. It doesn't seem to be in the cards for me to have a good filling meal tonight. At least I didn't over eat tonight at all.

Yelp
First time having brunch at Trillium and I'm telling you, it was completely fantastic. We were so enraptured with our plates we didn't take any photos.. we had the breakfast burrito, the hash and the classic breakfast. The hash brown are the best I've had anywhere and the presentation on all of our orders was impressive. Due to food allergies I couldn't order the steak and potato pancakes but their head chef came to the grill herself to make me the filet mignon to satisfy my steak craving! This steak was a worth every dime and each bite was unforgettable! We also ordered the Bloody Mary and that was so refreshing and tasty with the pickled asparagus. Jaeden made a visit to our table to check on us and Greg and Mallory were fantastic!!!!!

Yelp
Last year we found out that from a family of 4, 3 of us have gluten and dairy sensitivities. Fun. Took a while to adjust to new diet and keep out favorite places in town to keep eating at. Trillium is still our fav breakfast spot on weekends with the kiddos. They still offer all the good things like drawing packets for kiddos and classic breakfast with eggs, hash browns or house potatoes and chorizo on the side. Yum. Filling and gluten and dairy free. They make sure to make the items on the side without added butter and such. We love it. Thank you Trillium!

Yelp
Wow wow wow! Stayed at The Grove hotel (where this restaurant is located) and decided to order room service, wasn't hungry enough for an entree but definitely wanted to try a few things from the restaurant. It most definitely did not disappoint! The Szechwan Cauliflower had me doing a happy dance at first bite. Not a spicy dish btw but the flavors were so great and for it to be a starter it was a huge serving (saved some for later) Stuffed Jalapeños had cheese sauce oozing out of it and HELLO wrapped in bacon yes pleasseee! The nice spicy bite from the jalapeño, great cheese sauce, and bacon all came together very well for a pleasant bite Hot Cobbler was like a nice warm hug, it was so darn good!! (I asked the server what type of cobbler it was and totally forgot what she said) it definitely had blueberries in it If your in the downtown Boise area this place is a must! And to combat the food coma stay a night (or two and check out the breakfast) at The Grove Hotel, neither will disappoint Oh, and you're welcome

Yelp
Upscale lunch, rustic modern ambience...high ambitions for flavor profiles, but falls short of expectations. Service was awful. Our waiter was more interested in flirting with a woman from one table than to tending to anyone else. Never asked about our food, never filled our drinks, just ditched the bill... Fish and chips were good, almost great. Chicken and Waffles are a failure. Chicken is dry, over seasoned and not Nashville hot. Waffles, while crusty, lack flavor and really not the best option for the dish...think Roscoe's thin Waffles over the Belgian type. At nearly 30 bucks a plate, I'd expect these kinks to have been ironed out. Seriously, to the waiter, perhaps more focus to a father and his young son than simply to your own hunger?

Yelp
Great place to have breakfast if you're in Boise. This is a hotel restaurant--in the Grove Hotel. But I have been here for dinner too and it is better than your average hotel restaurant. Our server, Li Shu, and the hostess were very friendly, taking time to have personalized conversation. I had the ciabatta breakfast sandwich and my husband got the avocado toast. Highly recommend splitting a meal, unless you're starving. The breakfast sandwich was the clear winner. Nice blend of textures and flavors, without any being overwhelming. The avocado toast was what I could make at home.

Yelp
First time at Trillium and we will definitely be back! We had the trout and the salmon special. Both were delicious. Good portions and very flavorful. For dessert we had the huckleberry cheesecake and chocolate torte. The desserts were a lot bigger than I expected. Service was very good as well. We parked downstairs but now know we can valet for free. Overall excellent experience.

Yelp
We sat at the bar and Dieseled 6 local IPA's aptly named after the Sockeye Salmon that inhabit the local Riv. The bar is next to an arena! Kayla was our server and she was 10/10 on quirkiness and confidence. Highly recommend for a quick easy hangout in dt area

Yelp
Pricey and was just ok. Enjoyed the Brussels, service was good. $125 for lunch seemed a lot for what we got.

Yelp
This is a quiet, upscale place to stop for a bite. Our waiter was personable and professional, and our food was very tasty. I had the Smoke and Fire Pizza, which definitely had a lovely balance of flavors, plus a freshness that made me love it even more. Great place.

Yelp
Happy hour is 4-6. All appetizers are half off and we'll drinks and beer is 4$. We decided to get every appetizer they had as a meal. We split it 3 ways, we each had a beer and it was 22$ per person before tax. Everything was phenomenal. Nothing that I didn't like. Everything was pretty large in size and we took home some of everything. There was nothing I disliked. The poutine was my fave and the flat bread was my least fave (I'm not a huge pizza person) but all of it was great.

Such gorgeous decor, amazing food, incredible service! Troy took care of our huge group and billion drink requests all with a smile & the best service!! We'll be back

Yelp
Arrived a few minutes before a 6:30pm reservation and we were seated right away. It was New Year's Eve but didn't start getting busy until around 7:30ish. We got the iceberg salad to share along with the crab stratta, and both were delicious. My husband got the bison grilled cheese and he said he enjoyed it, but it could use more cheese. I had the steak frites and it was pretty good. My husband sandwich came with choice of side, and he got the beef French onion soup. We both thought the soup was very flavorful. The restaurant got pretty loud once it was busy, but that would be expected on a holiday night. My husband did say he wished the lighting was a little more dim, and I would agree. We had the chocolate torte for dessert and it was delicious. Would come here again.

Yelp
Great atmosphere and kind staff the moment you walk in! Don't be shocked when on google maps to see you have to enter a hotel since Trillium is located inside the The Grove Hotel. As we entered the staff was quick to get us seated during lunch hour and gave plenty of compliments. haha. During lunch there wasn't too long of a wait and we ended up getting seated at a booth. Only thing about the booth was that the table top is slightly higher than the table tops at the standard tables. I'm not super tall so proportionately felt off. haha. As for the entrees we ended up getting the Idaho cheesesteak ($15) and tablerock cod ($16). The idaho cheesesteak was not your average cheesesteak since it was cut into thicker chunks and had an herby potato roll to hold it together. I really enjoyed the mushrooms and white cheddar as well so it really elevated the cheesesteak. The meat was marinated and flavored well but they also include a cup to dip your sandwich in if you want more juices. Got a side of fries since we were also getting a salad and they were nice and crisp. If you're ordering a salad and primarily the table rock be sure to share because it is HUGE. I don't usually see smoked trout so it was a great option to try and they do not skimp on the ingredients. You'll need a side plate since it's filled to the brim to even mix it - not that I would complain! Overall both entrees had really great flavors and were not oily at all. Left satisfied and ready to conquer the rest of the day. Staff was also really great so worth coming back just for them!

Yelp
The food was great. We had the Szechuan cauliflower as an appetizer which was a creative dish and had great flavor. My wife had the pork shank and I the short ribs. Both were extremely well done. The pork was fall off the bone and paired as a Mexican themed entree. It was fun to eat and a lot of food. The short ribs were meltingly tender and made with a huckleberry sauce. The only drawback was the accompanying bread pudding which was meh. Nothing bad but nothing exciting in the bread pudding either. There was a good wine list. Plenty of good choices at all price points. The blend we chose from Tamarack Cellars paired extremely well. The meal was rounded out with the Hazelnut Chocolate Mouse Torte. Rich, chocolatey, and delicious and more then enough for the two of us to split

Yelp
Ok great service. Apple pay accepted. Bathroom clean. I would expect fresh vegetables and ask if not.

Yelp
We came to Trillium for dessert and left more than impressed. We got the huckleberry s'mores (after seeing the many photos with the Idaho-shaped chocolate) and the fruit cobbler. Both were incredibly delicious, and not a single piece of food was left by the time we finished. I will have to come back for brunch or dinner sometime!

Yelp
We came here for an early morning Sunday Breakfast. I found this place because I was able to make a reservation and it was open early - mainly other places I looked at opened after 9am. Staff got us in right away. There seemed to be ample staff there. Took a while for someone to take our order, but our food and drinks came out quickly and we all felt the portions were good. My husband ordered a over medium egg (runny yolk and cooked white), and he thought it was cooked perfectly, and he is normally very picky! I had the Grove Continental which had yogurt, granola, fruit and choice of carb (I got the blueberry muffin). Great atmosphere and the hotel (The Grove) is very swanky and right there in downtown Boise. The hotel has valet and I am sure other parking, but we parked across the street where it was free parking on Sunday.

Yelp
Atmosphere-4 stars Staff-5 stars Cleanliness-5 stars Food-3.75 stars Drinks-3 stars I had the trout and my husband had the Filet Mignon. My trout, and everything that came with it, was absolutely delicious. It was seasoned perfectly and the trout was cooked at the perfect temperature. The filet was good but could have used a little more seasoning and if the steak came with polenta I think they would compliment each other very nicely. My husband likes his medium well so he ordered it as a medium and it turned out to be medium well. There were SO MANY shoestring fries. They were good but it tasted like we were just eating hashbrowns. I ordered two drinks and they were both pretty good. The staff were super nice and our waitress took very good care of us. I can see coming back here, especially for that trout!.

Yelp
Food, service, and ambience excellent! Went for a pre-show meal with large family group. Had great food and cocktails in a great atmosphere. Parked right out front with valet so it was easy.

Yelp
My husband and I went with a group of 6. The Bison meatloaf is one of the best items on the menu but at $40 a plate, one might hope so. Some of the other items were just mediocre for the price. The beef stroganoff was tough and for the price, not nearly as good as the Russian restaurant in Boise. Our friends had other dishes that they said just weren't as good as they had remembered. Everything just seemed subpar. Even the deserts were off. Got a blueberry cobbler with the most tart blueberries it made your eyes water. The cheesecake our friends ordered was compared to a cottage cheese consistency, and not smooth and rich.

Yelp
This place is beautiful. Located in a hotel, I think I doesn't get the credit they deserve. There is also a hockey rink located just down the hall which was pretty cool. Food was amazing and service was 5 stars!

Yelp
We had a great time at Trillium. The restaurant was very upscale and cozy. The service was great and our server was extremely attentive. It really showed that she'd loved her job. We weren't able to redeem the Yelp offer of free valet parking as the hotel was full and turned us away. For food we started with the chicken flat bread. It was baked very nicely with a crisp crust. The warm crab salad was also pleasant with a healthy servicing of crab. Definitely getting your moneys worth with that serving portion. The spicy chicken torta was excellent as well. It was a little heavy on the also so the center got pretty soggy. Ended up leaving the center and just ate around the outside where it remained nice and crisp. Highly recommend Trillium. Hopefully they can accommodate more parking though if it is listed as a Yelp check in offer.

Yelp
Food and service was incredible. We have been wanting to try this restaurant for years and I'm upset we didn't come sooner. Everything was top notch. Highly recommend!

Yelp
Their Idaho cheesesteak DELICIOUS! It's on a Rosemary hoagie sort of roll DY NO MITE!! I inhaled that sandwhich! Very swanky inside, I opted for to go. Man that was such a good sandwich. Only thing I would add is Mayo. It does come with a sort of au jus gravy sauce you can dip, the dna which isn't dry by any means. The meat, thinly sliced, succulent. The cheese ooey goey yummy!

Yelp
My husband and I came to eat here 4/30/2022 while we were in town for work. The dishes were so full of flavor. We were seated right away. Our waiter was very easy going and funny. I ordered the beef and portobello stroganoff and my husband had the bison meatloaf. The stroganoff is definitely a must try. It was so flavorful and creamy !! The chocolate dessert was AMAZING! I wish I could remember the name of it. It had a crunchy top shell and moist, rich chocolate cake texture under. I wish we got photos of our cocktails as we had about 2 each. I can't say there was anything we ordered that we didn't like. We got our meals at a reasonable time and same with the drinks. Highly recommend if you want affordable fine dining and drinks. Hopefully they have the same menu when we visit again!

Yelp
We had this on our "possible" list for over a year. We went there for Happy Hour or maybe dinner, we didn't have a set plan. Lots of reviews have covered this establishment. It is on the first floor of the Grove Hotel directly off the lobby. We gave our car key to the attendant and he managed the 3 hour free parking for us. Jill was our server and did an excellent job of introducing us to the menu. We started with a few specialty cocktails, the Brussel sprouts and cauliflower appetizers. Both were very large appetizers and we made them disappear in a hurry. We would totally recommend both of them to vegetarian and non-veg folks. Our main courses were fish & chips and their version of a Rueben which they call The Dilulo. The fish and the batter they use is superb. The fries are cooked perfectly for thicker fries and the seasoning was exactly how it should be. The sandwich was very tasty and was served with what tasted like an apricot sauce. We were able to subsitute the fries that came with the sandwich with a beautiful dinner salad. The photo should make you hungry. Great job Trillium. We are telling friends to go there.

Yelp
A great spot for a yummy steak or quality dinner especially when you need a last minute reservation!
