Do not stay here if you’d like a quiet place to sleep. I’ve never stayed at an Autograph that was so noisy. Maybe not at any hotel at all that’s so noisy. The historic ceiling in the room (see my pic) was beautiful but every step from the guest upstairs could be heard with the wood creaking and popping as if they were right next to you. It woke us up throughout the night, along with hearing the neighbors so loudly that we could make out the exact words in their conversation. Then, the music was so loud from their room that it woke us at 2:00 am. At 3:15 the front desk got involved and they turned it down. By 6:00AM the volume was up again, maybe a TV? You could hear music thumping again along with the creaks and pops of the wood. When we left at 8:30 we discovered the music is on in the hallways so maybe the ceilings are created a boombox effect. Terrible for sleeping past 6:00 As for the rooftop bar: arriving at 9:00pm the host told us they were on a “30 minute break.” We looked at him, being the only ones at the host stand, not understanding what that meant. We explained that we just wanted a couple of drinks from the bar and to stand outside (outside was at maybe 15% occupancy). He said that was ok. We get to the bar only to be told (chastised) that we had somehow snuck past the host and could not get served because they were on a 30 minute hold until he could catch up. He was overwhelmed to the point that we quickly ran away because he was melting down. Clearly they were severely understaffed. The lobby is pretty and the check in person was very sweet, hence the 2 stars. The valet was also overwhelmed with cars backed up 6+ deep and non existent. Thankfully we found street parking which is free on the weekend. I would never opt to stay here again. Ever. BTW. The SpringHill is attached so I’m not sure if it has the same issues. The valet issue looked similar there and we all share the street parking. For reference: we had 90 Marriott nights last year.

I stayed at the Trilogy Montgomery Hotel for a week during a business event. Kate and the staff were incredibly helpful and friendly, which I truly appreciated.||The rooms were decent but had a faint mildew smell and noticeable dampness. The wood rafters in the ceiling had spiderwebs, which could be addressed with better cleaning.||The rooftop restaurant was cute —great ambiance and a nice escape after a long day. Breakfast service, however, was a bit confusing at times (sometimes I was served in the restaurant other times it was on the rooftop) but conveniently located for the most part.||Overall, it was a comfortable stay, but improvements in room cleanliness and ventilation would make it much better.

I recently stayed at the Trilogy Hotel in Montgomery, Alabama, and overall, it was a great experience! When I arrived, there was a minor issue with the bedding, but the staff addressed it immediately, moving me to a suite with an upgrade and even adding some points to my account as an apology. My original room and the suite were spacious and comfortable, which was a pleasant surprise! The location couldn’t be better. Situated right in the heart of downtown, it’s within fantastic walking distance to the riverfront and several vital attractions, which was perfect for unwinding after a day of business. Montgomery’s charm is truly right outside the hotel doors. The staff was friendly and went out of their way to make sure I was satisfied despite being a bit short-staffed. One tip for travelers: bring along some cleaning supplies, just in case, as they seem stretched in housekeeping. If you’re in Montgomery for sports, business, or just exploring, Trilogy is a solid choice for convenience, hospitality, and location.

This was a very cozy boutique hotel that was previously a warehouse. High ceilings, exposed beams, nice bathroom. The room was small but very comfortable. Location was amazing in downtown where a lot of historical things could be seen by foot. Valet was helpful in introducing me to good restaurants in the area. Parking was not included.

This Hotel is over the top exquisitely designed. Wonderful breakfast, Marvelous private rooftop patio, superior customer service!!! Friendly, professional !!! and laced with luxury amenities, In center of downtown Montgomery close to all the action. And don't break your wallet. Definitely hands-down my place to stay when visiting the grandbabies. Be there or be square... Check out the pictures for yourself.

We had a great visit!! Hotel was clean, convenient, and very pretty. Especially enjoyed the Malin and Goetz products in the bathrooms. Dante at the valet went above and beyond for us. Jake at the bar was also awesome. Really enjoyed our stay!

We absolutely loved our stay at Trilogy! I was a bit anxious before booking our stay since I was not familiar with this hotel, however, the reviews were good. It was more than I could have asked for in a boutique hotel! First and foremost, we were greeted at the front desk by an amazing lady named Brittany and she made us feel welcome and in very good hands! She was very professional yet very warm and very informative. She went out of her way to be helpful. Brittany definitely is a great Brand Ambassador for Trilogy/Marriott Hotels! We looked forward to briefly speaking with her each day which was the icing on the cake! All of the staff at the hotel whom we encountered were very helpful, friendly and professional. Alisha, our housekeeper was very kind and did a very good job taking care of us. The only downside was the parking which was a bit high but I guess that's to be expected for a downtown location. The fitness center was nice, clean, and although a little small, it provided everything needed, even water and towels. Breakfast carryout was very good and the hostess Faye was amazing as well! The sausage was so good and apparently unique to AL because I had never had it before. I was pleasantly surprised that the price to order an extra piece of sausage was not very expensive at all! The grits were very good as was the entire breakfast. The cooks/chefs did a great job fixing the food! As I waited for our order each morning, I did notice that the restaurant wasn't full but it seemed a little delayed with the eat in orders. The location is great for walking to the waterfront and we even caught a free concert while there! There were plenty of restaurants in walking distance. The best tourist attraction within a few minutes walk is the Legacy Museum, which is a must for everyone to experience! It was a lifechanging experience like I've never experienced. The restaurant within the museum had really great food especially the collard greens, mac and cheese, and chicken. The food changed each day, so enjoy it when it's offered. Overall, staying at Trilogy was a real treat and I would highly recommend it! Oh, our suite with the balcony was the best ever! Our Marriott status was rewarded very nicely which made us feel like family! Thank you!

Aaliyah with the Valet Service is amazing. She provided the most personal & professional valet service that we've ever experienced. The level of customer service that she provided sets the bar extremely high & her coworkers should strive to emulate her efforts. She is a credit to those in the service industry. I hope her employers recognize her efforts. Kudos, Aaliyah!

Yelp
I stayed here for 3 weeks for a work trip. The staff was great the entire time, I needed more hangers for clothing and they brought them up immediately upon request. it is centrally located to many of the sites in Montgomery so it was a quick weekend walk to the Equal Justice Initiative Museum, and there are restaurants on the other side of the street. There is only Valet or street parking, which depending on the night is a toss up on how close you will get to the hotel, but it worked out fine for me as I tended to leave the office prior to the dinner/evening crowd being in downtown.

Yelp
What a cute hotel! It's a Marriott property, but has the feel of a smaller boutique hotel. The rooftop bar offers great views, but no kids under 21 allowed. Also, the free shower products smell really good. A great option for your visit to Montgomery.

Yelp
My first night here was quiet bliss. My second two I felt like I was sharing my bed with other guests (despite being a solo traveler)--that's how close their conversations (and coughs and throat clearing) sounded. I don't know if the Trilogy has the thinnest walls of any hotel I've stayed at in recent memory or I was just really unlucky but I can tell you very specific details of conversations happening in at least two other rooms. I didn't just hear muffled voices. I heard a political strategist speaking in detail about his day's meetings. I heard a woman call the front desk to report a cockroach that was still alive. (Yikes.) These voices were so clear and distinct it nearly felt like these folks were IN my room! (Seriously unpleasant.) I dig the design of the Trilogy. The staff was exceedingly friendly. The hair dryer was powerful and dried my hair fast. The clothing steamer, along with plenty of hangers in the closet, made me happy. But they have got to do something about the sound insulation (read: get some!) I wish I could rate the Trilogy higher because there's so much good here but when 2/3 nights of sleep aren't possible? Nothing's more important than sleep, especially in a hotel!

Yelp
This place is great. The rooms have vaulted ceilings, the lobby is like a little boutique art exhibit, the roof top is cool to see the city. Shower has good water pressure and a separate wand. Has a little fridge and a clothes steamer. The little restaurant is nice, parking is valet, and the entire atmosphere is comfortable. The bed and pillows are top notch and comfortable. Love this place. My 4th stay!

Yelp
Stayed here last night. We had 6 rooms. 2 of us had cockroaches in the room and 2 had ridiculously noisy fans. The lobby and restaurants were nice, I just don't like sharing my room with cockroaches.

Yelp
We had an amazing stay at The Trilogy. It is a beautiful hotel, the staff was friendly with exceptional service, the room was spotless and the valet was prompt every time we needed our car. We didn't get to sit at the rooftop bar due to rain but it is huge and beautifully decorated as well. We will definitely stay here again

Yelp
Absolutely perfect place to stay when visiting Montgomery! From the moment you walk in, its beautifully decorated, the architecture is so cool, and the service is so welcoming from the valet to the front desk. Once in the room, it is outstanding! Decor, comfort, vintage style furnishings, the lighting, and the beautiful bathroom. The location is perfect for all things Montgomery. From the historical things, to the Cramton Stadium, to the Biscuits stadium, to great dining options. Step on a Bird scooter and just cruise around downtown in a flash. Can't say enough about how much I enjoyed staying at this location!

Yelp
What a very nice hotel! We loved everything. The vallet guys were great. The check in was very smooth. The staff were all very cordial and eager to help. The bed was awesome. The room very clean. The carpet well padded. A very nice flat screen smart tv that worked. So why only four stars? The humidity in our room was off the chart. We lowered the AC to 64 degrees before we went out, hoping it would improve. Our clothes felt like they were damp. They need to install dehumidifiers. My wife and I are life long Alabamians, so we are used to humidity in August in the South. Our room had substantially more humidity than outside, which the weather app said 88 degrees. How does that happen? For that reason, I gave them four stars.

Yelp
What a pleasant surprise. Trilogy is a fabulous new historic boutique hotel. quiet, 12-foot ceilings, spotlessly clean, comfortable linens, and excellent, professional, friendly staff, valet, and housekeeping. if you are planning a trip to downtown Montgomery, highly recommend you give it a try.

Yelp
Couldn't have asked for a better place to stay for my first work trip! The hotel is gorgeous, & its location in the middle of downtown is ideal for a short-term visitor like myself. The staff were incredibly kind, accommodating, & helpful. The design of the hotel is stunning- the perfect mix of feeling updated & nice with still the classic, retro-esque styling. My sole "complaint" (more of a warning to others than a personal issue) is that the walls/ceilings in between floors are fairly thin. I can currently hear the person above me walk around in what I can only assume is high-heels, based off the sound. Would not be a major issue at all unless you're majorly sensitive to that though, & everything else about the space majorly makes up for being able to hear others a bit more than I'm used to. I would 100% recommend this hotel, & if I ever end up in Montgomery again, I would stay here for sure!!
