Newly open building, came here for a lecture at the lecture hall downstairs. Excellent facilities, esp the bathrooms, spacious and clean. A fine piece of architecture with vertical gardens both at the Pearse Street entrance and the south facing glass facade towards the campus. Excellent blend of interior and exterior space by the clever use of glass, plants, and natural light. The curve from the balcony of the mezzanines and the curves of the stairs reflect each other, contrasting with the straight lines framing the atrium, which is lit with both artificial lighting and plenty of natural light from several light wells fitted at the roof. The use of colourful furnitures adds dynamics into the space and I especially like the use of classical style furnitures in front of huge glass wall from which you can see the old buildings of Trinity in the background, linking and inviting the historic surrounding into the new modern interior.
