7 Local Coffee Roasters to Perk Up Any LA Morning | Eater LA
"A San Pedro–based, single-proprietor roaster and retailer that emphasizes coffee, brew, and cultura through house-roasted, mostly light-roast beans and creative bottled cold brews. The owner oversees roasting, wholesale, and delivery, producing coffees with distinctive names and processes like Dos Marias (fruit layers removed before drying) and a wet-processed Ethiopian called G-Funk that nods to local culture. Offerings include flavored bottled cold brews—café de olla, horchata, and lavender with oat milk—and beans are distributed to neighborhood spots (including deli and bagel shops and several LA County retailers) as well as sold online." - Gab Chabran
Paul is an incredibly charismatic guy and that’s reflected in his coffee. All of his coffee beans are sourced thoughtfully, and roasted locally. Be careful because Paul will end up being a great friend too!

I really enjoyed all the coffee I got from here! I’m just getting started with trying a greater variety of coffee and I’ve liked everything I’ve had so far. The coffee roaster is local and takes the time to explain each week’s beans. Coffee connoisseur friends of mine have also spoken really highly of all the drip coffee and espresso I’ve made for them with these beans! Included are some photos of a recent delivery :)

Just signed up for the subscription and the first coffee bag we got was great. Can’t wait to try new roasts each month! Owner is super friendly and knowledgeable about his coffees too.
