"It’s not St. Patrick’s Day until someone does an Irish Car Bomb shot, and this Fort Worth pub wants to be the go-to. Pair it with some Dingle Drunken Mussels or a corned beef and cabbage roll to get into the spirit." - Courtney E. Smith, Alaena Hostetter

Google
I've been looking for a place that would serve authentic Irish food. And I do believe I found it here. Had the shepherd pie and it was fantastic. Wonderful flavor and very filling. My niece had the triple grilled cheese sandwich. Both of them were delicious. And to make it even better our waitress Sam was fantastic. Very friendly and even laughed at my dumb jokes. I personally would love to see them branch out and do a family restaurant that is Irish themed. Have a nice menu of some of the dishes you'd expect at an Irish home. When the weather is cooler will have to come back and try the Irish stew. But seriously. I'd love a family restaurant.

There is NO FOOD here. This is a bar only! All of the reviews showing delicious food was from before they moved. The City of Fort Worth is not allowing this establishment to operate a kitchen. If you want a pub atmosphere without food, sure come. I am out of my college drinking phase so this place offers nothing of interest.

Google
Well worth your time to pop in. The mood is extremely relaxed and you'll have a nice time. It's a little bit less club like if you want a slower pace bar. The chips and queso is excellent and the bartenders are top notch. UPDATE: I am sorry to say that I don't know if I'd advise coming now due to 1 sign stating 20% gratuity added to ALL tabs. Now mind you this sign is facing the front of the bar but I did not spot it on any other side of the bar. But sure enough when you read your receipt it's there already added in. And the tip clearly states: additional tip. So pay attention. Also the staff seems to have turned over... Don't know if it's due to this new change. :(

Google
Not too loud. Love the atmosphere. And whoever was picking the music had good taste. Actually, pretend this is a 1 star review so you dont come here. Id prefer to keep the crowds under control.

Google
We come here for the food! The food is awesome! We haven't had anything we didn't like so far. It's great for late night dining or even a casual early evening dinner. Of course the drinks are great too! This is one of the only places around with Harp on tap. Try a Green Tea shot! Best we've had anywhere.

Google
All of the food I’ve had here has seriously been DELICOUS. There’s a good selection on draft and love the options for dog friendly outdoor seating with fans and games. Just a friendly laid back vibe. Bonus: Monday’s are BOGO fish & chips

Google
The best WHOLE fish and chips in the DFW area! Prime cod, not left overs disguised in batter. The service was attentive and prompt. The patio dinning on a cool evening elevated the whole experience so do try if the weather cooperates. Pro tip: on Monday, TCIP has buy one get one free fish and chips with the purchase of two drinks. Don’t forget to squeeze the lemon and use malt vinegar!

Watched US Vs. England Match with nice atmosphere. Had A burger, was very good, I recommend. Special thanks for Britney for her great service, she was very warm and kind too.

Yelp
First visit and decided to celebrate our second anniversary here. I've been living in this area for years and can't believe that I haven't entered these doors before now. Thanks to my ol' lady for discovering a local establishment for authentic Scottish and Irish fare! Thanks Dory for fantastic service and smiles.

Beril M.

Yelp
Used to be amazing with great food and atmosphere. Owners sold half the place and don't even carry Jameson any longer. No kitchen so it's bbq brought in. Total disappointment compared to what it was last year.

Paula C.

Yelp
I've only been here once and it was... ok. The scotch eggs came out cold. The egg did some out soft. I was really dreading that it would be overdone. The fuck and chips was HUGE. Shepard pie was delicious and well seasoned. Our waitress was funny and super nice. The food came out fast.

Misty D.

Yelp
I USED to LOVE coming here; but now, it's basically just a bar. They used to offer pub food options; Irish food at that! No longer. No more Scotch egg. No more Bangers and Mash. No more Fish and Chips. This used to be the place to go. A destination. No longer. It's sad, really. Now, it's just a bar.

Yelp
We really like the Irish Pub but this time seemed that the customers took back seat to them getting ready for the weekend events. When the contractors are put before paying customers and the lazy bartender come to your table taking plates while fingering your fork and then apologizes because they are focus o. The weekend. Really hes just standing behind the bar playing on his phone. There needs to be a better business plan and some customers service training. The waiter guy was ok, we could tell he was new. No issues with him, he did a good job just little more attention to customers request. To be honest we were little excited to come here today and now not sure we will the next, if there is a next time.

Yelp
Friendly Irish pub with an excellent selection of draft beer and Irish whiskies. Several large screen TVs make it a good place to catch some sports. We enjoyed excellent service while watching a college football game. Bread pudding, served warm and garnished with a dollop of whipped cream, was deliciously indulgent. I wasn't a fan of the chicken and waffles, which were drowned in cream gravy and hot sauce. Just maple syrup for me, please! Rest of menu looked good and I'll definitely this place another try.

Elise W.

Yelp
Typical Irish pub. We watched the Aggie game here a few weeks ago and the service was great. The waitress kept the drinks flowing and the Aggies turned the game around! Win-win!

dean p.

Yelp
No food. Only a bar. This has replaced the best fish and chips in the metroplex. Very disappointed. We have been all over the British Empire. Pubs always serve food.

Becca S.

Yelp
I found this place on yelp while searching for mussels. The drunken mussels are a popular appetizer and they have them on their happy hour menu for $5. They are really unlike any mussels I have had before, which have mostly been at Italian places. They come in a creamy beer sauce, that really just reminds me of potato and leek soup. They are accompanied by thin slices of garlic bread. They were very different and tasty. There were 12 mussels in my order which I thought was very generous for a happy hour portion. I also tried their Irish Mule, which was refreshing. I believe my servers name was Megan, she was friendly and attentive. They have a great outdoor area and I will definitely be back to try some of their other options. *They don't validate parking in the garages

Christina T.

Yelp
I really dig this bar. I've only visited around the brunch hour so not sure how it flows in the evening but it's top notch early in the day. Service and food are both outstanding. On my last visit I had the fish & chips and it is possibly the best in town (even better than pouring glory which I love). It was like a whole fish of flaky goodness. On Mondays they have buy 1 get 1 fish and chips. I may go alone and have leftovers. Lol Restroom is clean. Parking is well - Crockett row parking which is free at a meter for 2 hours. This business does NOT validate garage parking so don't park there. There are also various $5 lots around. Farrington field off west Lancaster is also open for parking.

Dericka Y.

Yelp
Best fish and chips in DFW. I saw they are currently closed for a remodel. Hoping they reopen soon!

Yelp
Great food! We had Shepards pie. Will definitely be back when I have a craving for a nice warm meal.

Yelp
I have never been treated worse at a bar. I am from Fort Worth and knew the old manager, yes, However, I was not wasted in any way, helping them pick up trash on the floor, then I went outside and my Uber canceled on me, asked to come back in and they would not let me in the front but did in the back... they then proceeded to drag me out on the floor and tackle me in the bar like I was a maniac and had not gone there under age and of age the past 7 years of my life and threw me on the ground. If I could ever recommend a bar again...it will never be this place. This place is disgusting and ratchet, yet I will probably be on their social medi because of how much they asked me to pose and smile... yet, they dragged and kicked me out of there bar. I am absolutely disgusted and absolutely hate this place as a LOCAL and HUMAN BEING and WOMAN!!!!!!

Robert K.

Yelp
Are they fish and chips all over the West Coast in authentic Irish pubs where the IRA used to hang in the 90's. Best fish and chips I've had in Texas. And it's buy one get one free on Monday. Dave is always outstanding. A real pro. Thanks Dave!

Steve S.

Yelp
The ambiance in this place was nice! Must say that for dinner hours it was pretty loud music. The food was great. The pub curry came recommended by the waitress and it was delicious. A lot of flavor and much more than I was expecting from this dish. The Rueben was very well made. Thick and juicy and the fries had a wonderful portion. I'll come back here to eat and drink! Also ordered a Guinness and it was poured perfectly.

Tracy S.

Yelp
I fell in their restaurant/ bar in March and as a result incurred $$ in ER visit Monica the door person heard my head hit, there was spilt beer everywhere . I can't seem to get management to return my calls, I even stopped by in person and left my info with Ely to have manager Brian call me to no avail. Now I see that they are closed temporarily. I guess my attorney will have to ctc the owner Alan Kearney. Disappointing that a local establishment can't handle their business with integrity. All I want is hospital bill paid nothing else

Brenna H.

Yelp
This place is badass!!! I cannot wait to eat here again. I had the Monte Cristo with sweet potato fries and it was perfection. Their menu is SICK. Prices better than most every other place on 7th. They have a badass happy hour with 5$ appetizers and all kinds of great drink specials. Great beer menu. My server was Angel out on the patio and she was perfect. Really friendly and attentive and she was wearing her mask and following all protocols. I would recommend coming here and asking for her any day. Oh, also, they're open until 2 am. I don't know why the hours on here don't reflect that.

John K.

Yelp
I enjoy Trinity College. They have beer flights available, though the options are not as vast as you'd like. They also have some good finger food and a nice little outdoor seating area. That particular area does get crowded though the crowds don't always make their way to Trinity, so it can be a good place to go and get out of the madness of the West 7th area on the weekend. But don't get me wrong, it does get crowded. You'll enjoy your experience at Trinity for sure.

Gregory R.

Yelp
Comfy place with great service. Was there same time as a watch party for Notre Dame game - they seemed disappointed kitchen wasn't up and running yet, and Trinity ordered pizza for everyone. Was impressed with that gesture.

Timothy M.

Yelp
Seems like no one is sure if this place is a bar or a restaurant. We called to make reservations for our family and spoke to a man that explained they don't take reservations but that it was a big place and it moved fast. We explained we were bringing our kids and he said it was family friendly. But after a 40 minute drive and an hour long wait in line on the street, we were turned away at the door because our kids were not welcome. Security stated it's only for 21+ Maybe put that on your website!? Or perhaps even tell your staff. Apparently they don't know they work at a place that's only 21+. With so many places to choose from, we would have gladly gone someplace else. Really disappointing.

Nadia A.

Yelp
Had to come back with friends to try more of the menu. As always, everything was spectacular! Highly recommend the Shepard's Pie, Mac & Cheese, & Pub Curry! We ordered A LOT of food, but we finished every last bite because it was all so good. We sat outside this time. Loved the atmosphere. We stayed for hours just talking & eating. Would be a great place to come watch a sporting event with friends with all the TVs both inside & outside.

Kenny C.

Yelp
Trinity College does it right!! Ask for George for the perfect pour!! Ambiance on another level. Great music, open minded people, idealistic conversations.

William W.

Yelp
Our recent visit was the first for us, but it won't be our last. We shared a cup of delicious potato and leek soup. My wife ordered the pub curry with chicken and I the beer battered cod. Both entrees came with fries. The tasty curry had plenty of tender chicken but not enough curry sauce so she asked for more. The cod fillet was huge. It was lightly battered, well cooked, moist and delicious. The fries were okay. We both had a Million Angels Singing IPA which was very good. The grub makes this a pub but the ambiance is pure sports bar. Service was very good. We'll be back.

Alex G.

Yelp
Can't believe that as long as we have lived on W7th, we had never stopped here before. Well now, that will change. This place is amazing in both quality of food and the service the staff provide. I still can't imagine it took us this long to stop by. Being a soccer fan I liked that a small following of Chelsea fans meet up here to catch the game, and the pub and fans make it feel like your on the other side of the pond as our Brit friends say. Definitely worth trying out if your looking for outstanding service, foods, and drinks.

Drew D.

Yelp
Whoa, I never expected to be impressed by the fish and chips ($15) in Fort Worth, but man it was delicious. The fish was lightly battered and was perfectly cooked - it just flaked apart exactly as it should. Oh, and the chips (fries) were excellent too. I am not sure how they can be improved. The Irish beer selection was great and the Guinness pour was textbook! Our server never let us down. We will be back on a regular basis! Thanks for being awesome. You will find Trinity in the heart of West 7th where many bars and restaurants come and go but let's hope that Trinty has some staying power. I know we will be doing our part to keep them around.

Starr H.

Yelp
IPA chicken tender wrap and Chickpea salad w/chicken. New menu item, delicious as always!

Shane V.

Yelp
Absolutely incredible from start to finish. This is no2 my favorite restaurant in the area. The service was fantastic. Every single worker helped other works and their tables. The staff was so friendly. The Scotch eggs are a must. The traditional corned beef and mussels were both delish! I can't wait to come back and try their fish and chips. Every cocktail we had was made perfectly and the egg nog flight was so good! This is a must try place.

Petra N.

Yelp
I will have to start with this one of the BEST SERVICE YOU WILL EVER FIND IN 7th street restaurant!! They are very attentive and fast and friendly and on top of every little thing!! Food was great, fish was huge and very fulfilling! Lots of different whiskey to chose from.. so can't complaint!! But again! BEST SERVICE!! I will have to applaud them for that! I hope it will stay that way!! Keep it up guys

Khiana C.

Yelp
Good vibes, great happy hour! Wes took great care of us. The cabbage rolls and cheese curds were a hit! Will definitely be back!

Matthew F.

Yelp
Absolutely fantastic experience. Andrea was our server and had lots of great recommendations. We had the Fish and chips, mussels, and cheese curds. They were all delicious! The pour on the Guinness was PERFECT. Great cocktails, great liquor and beer selection. I don't know of anywhere else in DFW where you can get Prairie Artisan Ales in draft! Highly recommended. COVID note: big outdoor patio, and the interior portion has huge windows that they open on pretty days. The tables are also well spaced out and the closer tables have very nice dividers between them. These dividers match the bar and look like they were built there long before COVID started. Come enjoy good food and drink here with peace of mind!

Pailla R.

Yelp
Food is amazing!! Dog friendly and great ambiance our waitress was very attentive and remembers what you ordered previously which is a PLUS! She has short colored hair (yellow/orange) if you want great service.

Nicole G.

Yelp
Great atmosphere!! We've been waiting for this to open! It's been packed every night so you know it's good. They have 2 fans for the patio which helps with the Texas heat. Great food, only complaint is the fish slapped on top of my chips and all my fries got soggy. Still 5/5 stars because west 7th definitely needed a vibe like this.

Jessica C.

Yelp
Things seem to have gone downhill since I came here last few times. We were greeted by three different people after we had already ordered. They were out of the avocado dressing for the salad. The kitchen wouldn't cut our burgers for us. They removed the games and tent outside.

Brendan C.

Yelp
We were looking for a good authentic Irish place to get a pint. My wife and I and our little hooligan went here today and it was great. Very congenial staff they were so nice to us (which is nice when you have a baby). Kaci was an absolute rockstar. She took great care of us. We will be back.

Chanse A.

Yelp
Great selection and atmosphere. Only had the pretzel but it was awesome with the beer cheese. Bartenders. Made a great old fashioned.

Marla H.

Yelp
Delicious fish and chips and ice cold beer! Great atmosphere. I will definitely be back!

David M.

Yelp
Watching the world cup at an Irish pub seemed like a good idea. Walked in about noon, the place was pretty much empty. Only one TV in the corner was playing the game. The other dozen or so TVs were playing random sports games with no one watching them. So about a dozen of us gathered in the corner. My wife asked the girl behind the bar if she could put the soccer game on another TV. Kindly she did. Minutes late the manager came storming over and had this weird meltdown. He yelled at the girl behind the bar to put the Green Bay game back on. My wife asked him why he was doing this as no one was watching that? He just glared at her and marched off feeling like a big man. So, if you want to watch the world cup on one TV, with no sound, over priced food, 80s rock blasting out, and a colossal dick for a manger, then the trinity college pub is for you! FYI the rest of the staff are lovely.

Erin B.

Yelp
This is my favorite place to go near the West 7th area! Great drinks, atmosphere, outdoor patio, music, food, service...just all around amazing! Definitely my go to spot and I frequent it often! Check it out!

Lori L.

Yelp
My drinks tasted nothing like described. Maybe I need to try again and order something different but my sparking shamrock was so bad We left after that one drink. Even made my friend taste it to make sure it wasn't just me so pick a different drink unless you like the taste of medicine that didn't work

Esther B.

Yelp
Where do I start ... we walked in never been here before , my husband who is Irish started to explain his ancestry to the bartender after a credit card to start a tab ,we never were asked if needed anything else as they played NOT Irish type music , this is a marketing scheme of the Irish filled with NOT Irish heritage ! So we won't be back thanks for making sure of that !

Tim W.

Yelp
Really nice restaurant serving Guinness in an open air environment. Good traditional Irish foo

Laurie F.

Yelp
My hubs brought me in here for a taste of home that I'd been missing recently. Normally Irish/British pubs in Texas I've found aren't very legit, but this place was spot on. We sat at the bar so our service was amazing, every person was so friendly and efficient. We ordered cocktails off the specials menu, liquid clover and You Go Glen Coco both look and tasted amazing. We had to have scotch eggs to start and they were cooked to perfection. For mains we split the corned beef plate and drunken mussels, both to die for. The corned beef was so yummy and the mustard sauce made the dish. Then the sauce that the drunken mussels were in alongside the garlic bread being dipped in was sooo good. Instead of dessert we decided to try the eggnog flight as it was December and every flavour was delicious, they had cookies and cream, chocolate orange and a hazelnut. I could not have had a better meal/ experience making this one of my top 5 places in Fort Worth. Excited to get back to try more!

Mary J.

Yelp
I came across this bar on a happy accident and do not regret it. The environment has a great homey feel as pubs should. As for COVID precautions, all the workers wear masks and patrons are required to as well unless seated. I don't feel like it's too packed even with every table full. The food is fantastic and I am obsessed with their fish and chips, I would compare the size of the fish to my forearm. Overall it's my favorite bar on 7th and would recommend it to everyone.

Chris K.

Yelp
Best MONTE CRISTO SANDWICH we've ever had!!!!! Bennigans always was our go to but this place has them beat tenfold. Will return to try other dishes.

Tom D.

Yelp
Been waiting for this opening Excellent place, extremely friendly staff and great menu A new regular spot for sure Seriously overwhelmed by the friendliness of not only the staff but the owner himself Not only do they keep you coming back but they also look out for you as well The food, the food, the food Did I mention the staff... Doug, Ryan, David, Austin...

Meagan M.

Yelp
Christian was our server and he is absolutely hilarious! He was so attentive and fun to have! I had the fish and chips and I am SUPER picky about my fish and chips. The breading is flakey and crunchy, the fish was cooked perfectly. I am so impressed with everything. Really great drink specials and amazing servers that make you feel just at home here. I will definitely be back to see Christian!

Jeanne D.

Yelp
Great drink menu. Husband had bloody Molly. I had a black and blonde. We shared scotch eggs appetizer. Wonderful Irish whiskey menu. So many things on both pub menu and brunch menu. I had a hard time choosing! He had the Castle Sandwich. I had corned beef skillet. Wonderful food! Great service! 2p on Saturday. That sandwich was the motherload of corned beef! Good soup. I was happy with the hash. My hash also had sourdough toast served with Kerrygold butter. Perfect cook on all eggs. Wonderful toast!

Michael K.

Yelp
If you are going out in the FW 7th Street area, you HAVE to give this place a visit! The atmosphere is fantastic.....it's an Irish Pub that's actually owned and managed by Irish. It would be an insult to call their food "bar food" because it's 5-star! I highly recommend as an appetizer the "spicy cheese curds" or on Monday nights they have a "buy one get one free" Fish & Chips that is HUGE and DELICIOUS!!! You must try! David & Brittany worked the bar, were fun, happy and never let us run dry! The service was incredible! Open doors/windows, breezy atmosphere, lots of room, perfect to meet a group of friends or take a date! Enjoy!

Stacy M.

Yelp
Wow! We were visiting cinnaholic and looking for good food. Not beef and not Mexican. We asked if they served fish n chips! They do! They are HUGE and fresh. Not expensive a lot of food . We took a full order home. The waitress was awesome. I would go again if I lived in Ft Worth. Monday's is boho! Wow! A must visit!

Mike C.

Yelp
I like finding Irish Pubs in most cities, but recently visited this one while in Ft.Worth & it was AWFUL. Drinks were average, food arrived cold, & service was terrible. The waitstaff hung out most of the night clustered together talking with security rather than checking on tables for any kind of refills or orders. With all the other bar & restaurant options nearby, skip this one.
