Where To Eat Outside In Palm Springs

"Open at 8am on weekends and 3pm on weekdays, Trio is a popular restaurant in the Uptown Design District, and a great spot to hit up no matter what time of day it is. That said, their three-course prix-fixe menu (daily from 3pm-6pm) is our thing here, and at $25 per person, it’s also a steal. They’ve extended their giant wrap-around front patio to ensure safe socially distant meals. Call (760) 864-8746 for reservations." - brant cox

Trio Review - Palm Springs - Los Angeles - The Infatuation

"Lunch is often the forgotten meal in Palm Springs and Trio is hell-bent on changing that. How? For starters, an eight-hour Happy Hour menu isn’t too shabby. And if that doesn’t suit your needs, you can go for the $19 three-course prix fixe lunch menu. If you’re rolling with a big crew, you’ll have no problem walking in and getting seated immediately here." - Brant Cox

We had a lovely meal here before our flight, what a surprise! The prices were reasonable for an airport restaurant and the service was impeccable. The inside is air conditioned, almost too much lol. There’s also an outside patio. Small bites and lunch options aren’t available until 11 AM but the breakfast we had was great with lovely portions and well made food. Will definitely come back here on a return trip to the airport.

I was very surprised, for some reason I was not expecting it to be real good but this place is amazing. The food here is extremely good. The service was very good also. We are definitely going to go back and try it a couple more times because there was so many dishes on there that we wanted to try now. Definitely try the short ribs. The deserts look amazing but unfortunately way too full to try them. The biscuits with the truffle butter also extremely good.

Dining with The Davids

Google
We recently had the pleasure of experiencing the summer menu at Trio in Palm Springs as part of a Dining with The Davids event—and it was phenomenal! 🙌 If you’re not familiar, Dining with The Davids is a local food experience where a group of invited food lovers (aka “Taste Buds”) gathers to sample a curated menu, usually around 9–10 dishes. Everyone tastes one to two bites of each course, then votes for their favorites. The top picks are featured in a video series in partnership with NBC Palm Springs. At Trio, we were treated to everything from melt-in-your-mouth A5 Wagyu Carpaccio to an unforgettable Wild Mushroom Ravioli. The Beet Tartare absolutely stole the show for appetizers, and dessert was a tough call—but the Chocolate Pot Au Crème, topped with toasted marshmallow and served with graham crackers, was a nostalgic favorite. Chef Gladis and the entire team at Trio delivered outstanding flavors, presentation, and hospitality from start to finish. If you haven’t been recently, this summer menu is worth the trip—and if you ever get the chance to attend a Dining with The Davids experience, jump on it. It’s a total celebration of great food and local talent. Highly recommended! 👏

Tried this place on Sunday night. The food was delicious. I got the steak special with creamy garlic mashed potatoes. I also enjoyed my spicy margarita and the Tuna appetizer. Yum!

Google
We went there and tried the tasting menu. We were very satisfied with the appetizers. The entrees were good. The dessert was not that great. The brownie was just standard. It was my birthday occasion so they got me another brownie with a candle. That was a nice gesture.

Matthew Netto

Google
The biscuits and compound butter are a must havem. The pork chop is perfectly cooked and the sweet and savory of the date chutney tingles without overwhelmimg the dish. I had my birthday dinner there and I have to say that Melissa provided excellent service and made the day special and memorable. She was hilarious and profession and gave amazing personal touches. I've been here many times and I can't say enough good things about this restaurant.

Google
I had an amazing experience at Trio in Palm Springs! From start to finish, everything was fantastic. The drinks were a definite highlight—I tried the Flower Sour, Coming Up Roses, and Huck Me, and each one was delicious and well-crafted. We ordered a variety of appetizers, all of which were great, but the biscuits were absolutely incredible—a must-try! For my main course, the salmon was cooked to perfection, and the mac and cheese was a generous portion, making it a great side to share. A special shoutout to Josh, our server, who was incredibly attentive and made excellent drink recommendations. His friendly and knowledgeable service really elevated the experience. Overall, Trio delivers on both food and atmosphere. I’ll definitely be back!

Google
Absolutely fantastic dining experience! From the moment we walked in, the staff made us feel right at home. The service was impeccable—attentive without being overbearing, and the staff really went out of their way to make sure everything was perfect. Our server Josh was knowledgeable and made excellent recommendations. The food was outstanding. It’s clear they take pride in both the food and the experience they provide. Highly recommend this place for anyone looking for top-notch service and a memorable meal. Can’t wait to return!

Yelp
Had Christmas dinner with a guest. Though overcooked the Prime Rib was good. Enjoyed the potato soup. Service was spotty but the Waitress was very professional The pecan cheesecake was delicious!

Yelp
Burrata was fantastic. The owner greeted us and went out of his way to help us find the Vikings game on the bar television. I do t write reviews but this place is a must visit!

Yelp
I can't thank Trio Restaurant enough for catering our family Christmas celebration! They did an absolutely incredible job, and it was one of the highlights of our entire week. We had 19 people in our group, and Trio took care of every detail. Night one featured a delicious spaghetti dinner with mushroom ravioli, and night two was a spectacular three-course meal, including braised short ribs and Scottish salmon. What truly stood out was how accommodating they were--offering gluten-free, vegan, and dairy-free options for some of our family members without any hassle. A special thank you to Josh and KC, who not only cooked but also served us with such warmth and professionalism. So many family members came up to me after dinner saying it was the best meal they'd ever had! Your staff was incredibly kind, courteous, and professional, exceeding all expectations. I'm so grateful for all your help throughout the year as we planned this event. Your flexibility, guidance, and commitment to making our celebration perfect truly made a difference. The meal was unforgettable, and we'll be talking about it for years to come!

Yelp
Stopped by with an out of town guest. Very disappointing over all from general seating to the menu, our server and mostly the food. Table was too small for 3 people. Our server not once even made eye contact with any of us (is was so odd). Biscuits were so hard it was difficult to break while the specialty butter was so hard it broke off in pieces. Between a salad, a burger & scallops....nothing memorable. We won't be back.

Yelp
We have always wanted to try Trio and finally last night we did. Very close to our home so the location is very convenient. Ample parking available Decor was nice and place was clean! We were a group of 6, my husband and I went with two other couples who have been there before and highly recommended it. We all met up in the bar and had drinks. Jose the bartender was great! We were seated and ordered more drinks. For appetizers we got the ahi tuna tower-excellent! My husband and I ordered the ribeye for two - cooked medium rare as we asked with broccolini and mash potatoes - excellent! I wanted to try the branzino with capers. Our friend had that and it looked great - next time! We didn't have room for dessert - again next time! Overall experience was A+ Will definitely go back!

Yelp
My husband and I were walking down Palm canyon drive and seen this restaurant and decided to stop by. They were very attentive since we were the first customers they open around 4pm we were tired from a morning of shopping in Cabazon outlets so this was very nice to be treated extremely well. The drinks were so good. It's actually one of the few places I enjoy led the calamari from it wasn't chewy it was just perfect crunchy and delicious like I like it. The burgers were great we got the burgers and the meat was delicious as well as their sweet potatoe fries. I also love how bright and orange it is very up to par with Palm Springs.

Yelp
Trio has such a fun menu and an amazing Happy Hour. I love the seasonal lemon basil martini made with Racquet Club vodka!! Excellent. The service is wonderful. I like to sit at the bar and people watch. The menu is exciting and the food is delicious!
google avatar

Yelp
Lousy Italian food but our group of 6 had their pasta special included a bottle of wine. To be fair I'm Italian from NYC who likes to cook pastas too. The 2 we tried were just adequate. Add the disappointing service - you go to a restaurant sometimes w a disinterested server? So you are extra nice to get some love. Not ours. Anyway, a tough biz to be in if your heart is not.
google avatar

Yelp
We ate at the bar here for happy hour. The food specials at happy hour were amazing and the bartender was so friendly and helpful in guiding us through the food. His drinks were pure perfection!

Yelp
Great service, great ambiance, very clean. The food was very fresh and rich in flavor. What made it a great experience was our server Dominic, such a sweetheart. If you are wanting a fine dining experience with loved one's and friends, I highly recommend.

Yelp
This was solid food all the way down. My first time in Palm Springs, and Trio was recommended for a nice-ish dinner. So we booked reservations for a Thursday night at 8:15 (which was the earliest they had available). We got sidetracked that night exploring VillageFest (which happens every Thursday night in downtown Palm Springs), so I called and told them we were running behind. The person who answered the phone said not to worry, and that they'll see us when we get there. We amble in sometime around 8:50 or so, and get seated right away. Our server, Maria, came to greet us and get drink orders. I asked if they could make me a hot toddy (they did - very strong, very citrus-y). We ended up getting an ACE pear cider as well. We got the soy ceviche (loved how light and refreshing it is) and the seafood cocktail (which was kind of like a ceviche) - both of these come with tortilla chips. Oh, and the bread they serve is great too. Simple, crunchy-on-the-outside, soft-on-the-inside bread. We also shared the Yankee pot roast. Beef was super tender, sauce was flavorful, mashed potatoes was a nice complement. Also got the truffle fries, which were nice and crisp, and good to munch on. Sprinkled with cheese on top. We skipped dessert because we were too full. Also, that night, Trio was donating 60% of their proceeds to the Desert AIDS project, so we were happy to be donating to a good cause! Will be back to try other things on the menu! (From April 27, 2019)

Yelp
Made the mistake of ordering for pick up. The butternut squash raviolis contained four raviolis and cost $32!!! The crab croquettes came with four tiny little balls and cost $22 absolutely insane Only reason why I'm getting it at two is cause it was halfway decent tasting but the price for what you get is absolutely atrocious. Edited to add to their feedback. I know how expensive things are. I visit expensive places often. I even run a page exclusive to rating restaurants in Palm Springs so I'm quite aware of the price points. This restaurant is definitely not in the range of charging 30+ dollars for four ravioli. Period.

Yelp
Food: Excellent! Service: Attentive, friendly, professional. Ambiance: Classy & fun! Whenever I visit Palm Springs, I always try to drop in. Never disappoints.

Yelp
We enjoyed our dinner here! The half chicken was really good and I loved the balsamic sauce that was on the plate. The chicken itself could have been a little bit more seasoned or salty as it was a bit bland, but the texture was amazing and it was juicy and tender. The ragu was great my boyfriend loved it and he said that his old fashioned was the best one he has ever had!! I loved the triotini it had such a great cucumber flavor. We both love cheddar biscuits so we had to try them but they weren't our favorite. They had a bit of a burned charcoal taste. It needed a different flavor. I asked for some honey and it tasted better with the honey. Overall wouldn't order these again. The service was really good and our waiter was very nice and helpful. Very fun to chat with. This is a pretty good dinner option in the Palm Springs area!

Yelp
Trio is like family - warm, comfortable and reliable for good eats. We keep going back time and time again with friends and family.

Yelp
We came in on a Thursday. It was pretty quiet, as they were entering slower season in Palm Springs. We were seated quickly, but did not have a drink menu. It took a few minutes for our server to come over, so I grabbed one off another table. I started with a cocktail, which I unfortunately forgot the name of. It was a nice citrusy spring cocktail, and I did enjoy it. Our server was friendly and offered a quick rundown of the menu. We ended up ordering 4 items to share. We started with the biscuits, which were pretty good and filling. We had the crab croquettes next, but the aioli was pretty heavy, and maybe took something away from the croquette itself. Next we got the heirloom tomatoes from their salad menu. I was really looking forward to this, as it sounded very flavorful, but it was just ok. The tomatoes were good, but it lacked the chili flavor I was hoping for, and the farro was almost non-existent. Last, we ordered the salmon; however, the food runner brought us the scallops. We went ahead and ate them, as it had been another consideration of ours. They were good, but pricey for the portion. Luckily we were ok with them instead of the salmon though because our server didn't come to check on us until we were already done. Overall I had been excited to try this spot. I look forward to seasonally driven menus; however, I left feeling just ok about my experience. I think I would come back another time and maybe just grab a happy hour drink and snack, but not sure if I would go full in dinner.

Yelp
I searched healthy restaurants on Yelp and Trio was one of them. We called to make reservations, and were able to get a table, so we roared on over. The gentleman who answered the phone had reserved a two person table, but told the hostess to go ahead and seat us at a larger table. She didn't. So with our plates, water and wine on the table, we didn't have much table space to hold hands. Cause we are romantic like that. We started with the heirloom tomato appetizer, and I can honestly say it was one of the best dishes I've ever had. The balance of flavors and textures with the whipped ricotta, tomatoes and the crunchy farro was so pleasing, I can't wait to try and duplicate it at home. I had a pasta dish that was delicious, but I can't remember what it was called. My hubby had the scallops and that dish was also amazing. For dessert we had the Panna cotta, which was good, but we also had the olive oil cake on recommendation of one of the bus boys. It was terrific. The one downside for my hubby was the coffe. He loves a simple black coffee with dessert. He didn't care for the coffee there. Our server was Domenic, and he was knowledgeable and personable. He made some great food and wine suggestions, so if you aren't sure what to order, trust his suggestions. The place was packed when we had finished dinner, so definitely get reservations. I would absolutely recommend this place. As a matter of fact, we did, twice the next day!

Scott M.

Yelp
The restaurant has a warmth that is inviting. As you can see from the photo, the dessert took our breath away. The Bronzino and spaghetti and meatballs was Delicioso. And I can't say enough about our server who was outstanding!!!
google avatar

Jim M.

Yelp
Overall would not repeat. Food was pricey and made one of our guest ill from there dish. Service was poor and I ordered Tuna Tartar and there was hardly any Tuna on the dish. Over cooked the pork that was ordered medium.
google avatar

Jc B.

Yelp
Came here on a Monday night for business dinner. I ordered the usda prime steak medium rare that came with the potatoes. The steak was way over cooked came out well done. If it were medium I would have kept it but it was pretty much beef jerky. Got a replacement steak and came out medium well this time. The whole group had already finished eating so I just decided to leave it be.
google avatar

Yelp
The food at this establishment is delicious, although a little pricey. My parents got the duck and chicken. I got the beet salad, which was also very tasty. Service was ok. I'd say that they're trying as it is busy. They are dog friendly here, which is nice. Our dogs did well here.

Yelp
After hiking we were looking for a place to grab some food to reward ourselves with the hike nearby. This place had a DJ spinning the tunes while you enjoy your meal. seating outside had water mist and plenty of seating inside as well. Service was good and attentive. I got myself a mocktail to feel fancy and it was tarty and refreshing. Waygu burger was amazing and full of flavor, even the fries were yummy. The steak and eggs I wish the steak wasn't so tough, it was a bit hard to eat.

Yelp
Trio hosted my end of the year social for my business. The place is beautiful with great art The managers Jacob and Chris were very welcoming. Timo and Josh were great in the bar area. Tony and staff were very accommodating, happy, and nice. Trio has a great happy hour as well. The pork belly with crispy rice was yummy. Thanks Tony and staff for accommodating my 30 person social in your bar area.

Mange B.

Yelp
Great, generous cocktails, wonderful service from Dominick, Diver scallops and short ribs were perfection. Yum!

Korin H.

Yelp
Fabulous ambience, food and service. Made for a great experience. The variety of mocktails very much appreciated.

Yelp
Love this place! On of the highlights for our Palm Springs trip. There is a parking lot in the back and you can either walk around the building to the front or go through the back door and cross through the restaurant. We were sat down as soon as we got there and the waiter was so so nice. I wish I remembered his name! Got the steak frites and my boyfriend got the bucatini. Both plates came out super fast! Steak frites: oil flavor and chimmichurri is very heavy. Steak is cooked perfectly and fries do not really taste like truffles (thank god) Bucatini: nice and Al denté, super soft meatballs Drinks were so good! Crème brûlée so good! The price is a little up there but we'll worth it especially because of how friendly everyone was. Serious props to the waiter for making both me and my bf feel attended to! You're amazing!

Yelp
Had a really great experience at Trio. Made a last minute reservation and came in close to closing time so much appreciate these guys for accommodating us. Enjoyed the appetizers, including the biscuits which were luscious and the croquettes - a bit over lemony, and the ribs which had a delightful miso flavor if a bit meaty / chewy. Tuna crudo was a bit bland, but the half chicken was pretty incredible as was the ravioli. Extra note for the service - our server was awesome - knowledgeable friendly, and read our desire for a fast meal perfectly. Kitchen was speedy as well. Overall great experience and would definitely give Trio another try.

Yelp
Perhaps it was because we were celebrating a special occasion, perhaps we came on a night that wasn't terribly busy (early evening time on a Sunday)... or perhaps it is just.that.good. What we loved: - As the restaurant was pretty open, we got our pick of tables. We had a nice booth tucked away from other guests that made it seem like we were the only guests there. - The selection and quality for the kids meals seemed equivalent to an adult dinner entree (how often do you see salmon with vegetable pasta on a kids menu?). Being a pasta lover, all our pasta dishes were wonderful. - Service was top notch. The server was friendly and funny and went above and beyond to anticipate our needs. Will definitely be back!

Yelp
I ate at Trio last night and it was one of the best dinners I have had in a long long time! Every bite of everything was absolutely perfect! I ordered the heirloom tomato burrata salad and the special of the day steak Frite. The steak came with a bone marrow sauce that was to die for! Service was impeccable and the staff was full of joy. It was a true pleasure dining at this establishment! Thank you Trio!

Yelp
Dinner was so good! We had the ahi tuna tower and wedge salad as a starter and braised short rib and garlic shrimp pasta for dinner. Service was awesome and the ambiance was nice and not too loud. A must try

Yelp
This restaurant made my entire bachelorette weekend so special. So by accident we had brunch and dinner at Trio in the same day. My maid of honor had planned for us to go to a drag brunch at another location, but the venue changed. The brunch food was fine- I had the eggs Benedict. Toast was a little burnt but the mimosas were flowing and the drag aspect was so much fun! The vibes of the restaurant are very different night and day. The morning is light and bright, and the evening is a bit more moody with some darker lightning. When we arrived for dinner, we had a little hiccup. We waited 25 minutes and no one came to ask us about drinks or anything. They didn't know who our waiter was. We asked if they could check on this and immediately they sprung into action to make it a night we would not forget. I am a big believer, that if a business can turn a negative accident around, that is what really matters which is why they are receiving five stars. Our new waiter, Dominic, apologized for the inconvenience and brought over both the manager and I believe the owner of the restaurant. They had heard that we were there also for brunch and that I was celebrating my bachelorette. Throughout the evening, we received free chips, free shots for the entire group, and a free shot, performance, and cake for me. This was all comped, and we received so much amazing attention from the restaurant staff. Dinner was also superb. We did restaurant week. I am still dreaming about the Coachella Valley dates and the braised short rib and that trio brownie will always be on my mind. Will 1000% return and I am so thankful to the service we received from the restaurant staff. That is some top notch customer service.

Yelp
Our group was seriously underwhelmed by trio. We were very much looking forward to it, but all 4 of our orders were nothing special. I ordered the steak and lobster special and both the steak and lobster were so salty it wasn't good. My husband ordered the scallops and was also stating how salty his food was. Our other friends ordered the rib eye and the burger. The burger was decent but again the rib eye was over seasoned. Our server was great hence the two stars, but unfortunately the food was not on par.

Yelp
Sunday we had a wonderful evening at Trio. We had not been here for awhile and we were delighted with the changes and the service by Jose. The martini was made perfectly and started the evening on a great note. I had the wedge salad and my husband had the heirloom tomato salad - both were excellently prepared. Since it was Sunday we opted for their prime rib. The entrees came with fingerling potatoes and asparagus. Both were cooked to our individual tastes. We can't wait to return.

Yelp
We had an amazing time dining here at Trio. The food is exceptional and our server Dominick was the best. We highly recommend checking this amazing restaurant out, and we can't wait to come back soon.

Yelp
I recently had the pleasure of dining at Trios in Palm Springs on a late June evening, drawn by the positive reviews on Yelp. After a swift check-in at our hotel, my companions and I wasted no time and headed straight to Trios for dinner. Arriving at around 5 p.m., we found the restaurant relatively quiet, which was a pleasant surprise. From the moment we walked in, the staff's warmth and efficiency stood out. We were promptly seated, and our drink orders were taken swiftly, recognizing our eager anticipation. With our appetites in mind, we placed our orders, and within about 15 minutes, our starters were before us. The appetizers we chose were the Bay Scallop Ceviche, which I'd rate at (4.3/5) for its delightful freshness, the Coachella Valley Dates wrapped in bacon that balanced sweetness and savory notes beautifully (4.2/5), and the classic Wedge Salad (4/5). The flavors were inviting and set the tone for the main course. For our main dishes, we enjoyed the Shrimp Spaghetti (4/5), Alfredo Wild Mushroom Fettuccine with Chicken (4.2/5), USDA Prime Coulotte Steak Frites (4/5), Sweet potato fries (4/5) and the Prime Rib (3.9/5). Each dish was well-prepared, showcasing a range of flavors and textures that satisfied our tastebuds. Throughout the meal, the staff maintained a delightful level of personable attentiveness, ensuring our dining experience remained enjoyable. Notably, both the restaurant and restrooms were very clean and well-maintained, contributing to the overall pleasant ambiance. I've heard murmurs about a reasonably priced prix-fixe menu available between 3 p.m. and 6 p.m., offering a starter, entree, and dessert. Although I didn't have the chance to try it this time, I'm intrigued by the idea and will likely explore it on a return visit. For those interested, I recommend inquiring with your server about this special offering. Parking was convenient, with options available along the street and in the restaurant's compact private lot situated behind the establishment. In conclusion, my experience at Trios was a memorable one, highlighted by a diverse menu, attentive staff, and an overall inviting atmosphere. This is an excellent choice for those seeking casual American dining that doesn't compromise on quality, all at a family-friendly price point. With plans to revisit and explore more of the menu offerings, I wholeheartedly recommend Trios to fellow food enthusiasts and visitors to Palm Springs alike. My Personal Rating:4.44 Food 4.1/5 Staff 4.5/5 Price 4.6/5 Restaurant 4.2/5 Cleanliness 4.8/5

Yelp
Service was good and the food tasted amazing. Not too loud and priced well. The menu was not too overwhelming with tons of options so very easy to make decisions.

Yelp
This place is really good. We were tricked with the other posted menus, but they reopened with a more limited menu. Their idea is to have shareable items with friends and family. We each ended up picking things to share. The service was superb! From the host, server, and bus boys. Each one was willing to share through conversation their favorite things on the menu to things happening in town. They were all fun to chat with. Food was amazing, ambiance was great, and the bill was worth paying. Everything was great! One thing you definitely need to try is their Triotini!!!' It was a cucumber martini that is now my favorite drink!! SOOOOO GOOOD!

Yelp
Came here with reservations with our group of 17 girls for a bachelorette party on Saturday morning. Show starts sometime around 1030. The staff here are all so welcoming. Customer service is 5 star. They all make sure to make your party feel special. The drag brunch weekends are very well thought of. From their 3 course pre fixed menu, unlimited mimosas, in house photography, tipping protocol etc. They sure make it easy for everyone especially for big parties. For starters we had their avo toast of more like a mini baguette but is the perfect size. Second course I had their lox salmon Benny which was surprisingly good and as for sweet endings they offered a small piece of lemon bar with chocolate shavings. Just the perfect meal for a fun morning. Plus this is enjoyed with bottomless mimosas. As far as entertainment m, sure didn't disappoint. The hostess and the entertainers were all spectacular Expect a good time when you come here. Highly recommend

Yelp
We came here on Christmas Day for an early dinner, making a same day reservation through open table. At 5:15, the place was already pretty packed and walk-ins were being put on a waiting list so I was thankful I made a reservation a couple hours earlier. We were able to walk here from our hotel which was great and it allowed us to window shop at the amazing stores on Palm Canyon drive. For christmas there was a pre-fixe menu for $59 and you a selection for a la carte. For a party of 2, we did one pre-fix menu and one additional entree. It was nice they let you mismatch in your parties and it was the perfect amount of food for us. The pre-fixe menu we chose the bacon wrapped dates, prime rib, and the key lime cheesecake. For the additional entre, we got the pork chops. The winner was the pork chop! It's one large pork chop and topped with a pineapple sweet compote, paired with grilled asparagus and mashed potatoes. The porkchop was tender and the sweet/savory components was really good. The chunks of fruit also had a good bite to them. The dates were sweet and filled with cheese and pretty decadent, a little too heavy for me. The prime rib was a decent cut, could maybe have a more fat content and cooked to a great medium rare. The Au Jus was just OK, didn't have much flavor or add anything. If you don't have the horseradish immediately, make sure to ask for it because it was amazing! Exactly what you want to eat with prime rib for that extra omph. Mashed potatoes in both dishes were amazing. The key lime cheesecake was so/so, was pre-made understandably with how busy they were, a little too sweet but presented nicely. Vibes and staff were great. Feels very Palm Springs!

Yelp
We've always really liked Trio and were looking forward to going back but the employees weren't friendly at all and I think the bacon wrapped dates were burnt.

Yelp
The crab croquettes were very tasty & the waiter was accommodating with a smile! Quaint atmosphere, good food and good service.

Stopped in to try a couple of the new menu items and a HH cocktail! Josh was behind the bar and helped us navigate around the new items and concept which was awesome. Our martinis were great as usual! As we had limited time we ordered just a couple of snacks which were the biscuits and crab croquettes. Both were delicious, biscuits were light and fluffy with a tasty herb compound butter. Crab croquettes are made with real dungeness crab and were lovely. My buddy doesn't usually eat seafood and he really enjoyed them. Will be back to try other things and looking forward to see what the up and coming bar menu will be like!

Yelp
As a whole, the restaurant is fine. Not amazing, not awful. The host staff is nice. The servers leave a little to be desired. Not inattentive but not great. The Roasted Beet salad was good and so was the cocktail. The burger? One of the worst burgers my friend said she'd had ever, and not just the worst most expensive burger. One of my biggest peeves about a restaurant is looking at their website and reading menu and getting to discover they've changed the menu. When 25%ish of your menu is not what is online, is disappointing if the items you've chosen that restaurant for are unavailable and there are no comparable substitutes. If you're fancy enough to have a responsive website and use open table, don't be so lazy as to not update to your new menu for 6 months. And then make sure your servers know that what's online doesn't match your actual menu.

Yelp
Killed it! Everything we had was perfect (short rib + duck devine). Dominic , our server was very attentive and friendly. I had honestly given up on food in the desert prior to this xperience.

Yelp
Dinner for a party of 8 (2 toddlers). It was hard to look for a restaurant that takes reservations for a large party, and Trio was one that caught our eyes. We were seated at a round table - always love a round table for large parties because you can talk to everyone! Foccacia - toddlers' favorite - it's fluffy and has some flavors of olive oil. Trio Cesar salad - since discovering that real cesar salad uses anchovies, my perception of cesar salad has changed. Trio's version uses white anchovies - delicious. Seared center-cut pork chop - so juicy with the sweet tangy apple-pear chutney. We really enjoyed the mash potatoes - it's not completely mashed homogenously and still have some chunks of potatoes. Scottish salmon - cooked just to perfection - just slightly underdone. My toddler enjoyed the fish. Thoroughly enjoyed our entrees and we were so full! Will return in the future~~~

Yelp
Parking: There's free street parking. Experience: I made a reservation for 7:15pm on a Saturday night on OpenTable a couple of days before. We were a few minutes early and were seated immediately, in a back corner inside. There were a few outdoor tables as well but it was cold, so I'm glad we were indoors. We all ordered the beet salad for dinner and shared the macaroni and cheese and a side of sweet potato fries which were perfectly crispy! The service was extremely fast!! We were in and out of there within an hour. My only issue was that it was very loud and hard to hear each other, so I might come back for lunch and sit on the patio instead.

Yelp
Brunch! We were sat quickly, service seemed a little slow, very friendly people though, but I assume maybe short handed? Smoked salmon Benedict, pork belly Benedict and egg sandwich... all great choices! The potatoes they came with were pretty hard. So not a fan of those. Their bloody Mary's and martinis were good. Their white sangria was light and refreshing. The cobbler dessert was warm and delicious. Added ice cream with it. I've been to this restaurant for dinner which we liked, but wanted to try it for brunch. Solid spot.

Yelp
Trio sits at the top of Palm Springs' main street, Palm Canyon Drive. It has indoor and outdoor seating options. There is a very effective mist system that cools the outdoor tables. They habe a full bar and are known for their cocktails. My classic Manhatten was one of the best I've had. Their take on the Caipirinha was thoroughly enjoyed by my wife. They also have a wide delection of wines and beers. I had the Harris Ranch skirt steak with house made chimichuri, and it was delicious! The service was attentive and efficient. Andy, our server, knew the menu and was helpful and friendly. In a town full of great places to relax with a drink over dinner, Trio is among my favorites.
