"Triple Sun Spirits, with locations in Newtown and Emmaus, is always shaking and stirring inventive libations for its customers to enjoy. When you visit the Bucks County location, give the new raspberry vodka a try and order the raspberry sour — a perfect combination of sweet and pleasantly tart ingredients. A true hidden gem. Atmosphere is great. The food was great, told its a new kitchen. The Manager joey helped us find a seat at the bar and the drinks were the best part. I believe the bartenders name was marc.

It’s been a little while since we’ve came back to TSS. We’ve always loved their cocktails but let’s just say life got away from us and we’ve finally found a little time to come back. We only had one drink each, after 8pm on a Friday in June, and learned about a new happy hour and new food offerings. Not sure how long it’s been since these offerings came but we were really impressed by them and excited to return for them. I love everything lavender and gin, so I was really happy to see the Lavender Gin Martini was still offered. My love chose the Rum Old Fashioned and we both agreed it was VERY difficult to NOT drink them slowly. We wanted to enjoy many more (health reasons limit us). The new seating at the bar, replacement of backless bar stools with backed bar stools are a huge game changer. Regardless of your age it’s just more comfortable to sit on a cushioned and backed bar stool. It just overall feels more complete here than last year, and I know we’ll be back soon. I attached photos of the menus we found, but forgot to take a photo of the specialty cocktails on the chalkboard behind the bar. (Should probably also note, they do carry PA brewed craft beers as well, which we have always loved). I did notice there were some mixed drinks on tap that were not listed on any menus or menu boards we could find (we only knew because we were sitting right in front of the taps). Alllll that said, again we’re really excited to return

My wife and I gave it a shot after seeing a Kelley Drives segment on Fox29. We both thought everything we tried was phenomenal. The bartender was friendly and helpful. 10/10 recommend giving it a shot. Their bourbon was really good!

Great craft cocktails, unexpectedly amazing wings, and moody live music. This spot feels like a friend’s house party. Games, couches, barstools. The place to be on a date or with a small group of friends.

Google
Great local distillary with a very cool vibe! Stopped here for a drink (based on 4.7 stars) before dinner at Rocco’s. My smoked old fashioned was delicious and they had shuffle board and giant jenja plus other games. I’ll definitely be back!

Google
I will start by saying this place is really cozy and I really liked the idea. Great live music and comfortable couches and i think the neighborhood needs a place just like this. However, the "spirits" and cocktails were straight moonshine. Horrible and taste like pure gasoline. I kept checking the door for the Duke boys stopping by to make a delivery. The people in between should be aware if they hear an explosion it is probably just the still in the basement. I am not against corn whiskey at all, but this was very poorly done. The recipes did not seem to have measurements or at least they weren't being followed and each drink was very different. Also a mojito is not supposed have a pound of mint in it. I hope they fix it rather than disappear. I will continue to check reviews and hope for a change so I can try again.

Yelp
Great little bar in Newtown. Staff is very friendly and personable. Loved the lighting and decor and the comfy couches spread out throughout the place. The oversized Jenga and shuffle board are things I'd take advantage of when I head back. Didn't look at a food menu so I'm not sure what they offer. Place shut down at 11 on Saturday night. Thanks for a great night out.

Yelp
I've been to Triple Sun Spirits once for drinks on a Friday night, and also once for brunch. Both experiences were great. When we came for drinks, there was live music and a nice atmosphere. For brunch, there were only a few patrons at the bar, but nobody else was dining. The chef prepared me a delicious brunch meal of steak, eggs, snd sourdough. She asked for my input prior to making it, which was awesome. I'm not sure if that's because it was a quiet day, but it was a nice touch. I would highly recommend this place for drinks or brunch. I think they serve dinner, as well, but I haven't been here to enjoy that.

Yelp
I really enjoyed this bar with my husband.. it was nice to not feel the pressure of having to get food and just indulge in some deliciously crafted pre dinner drinks! The servers were kind and attentive. The vibe was like an upper scale casual well decorated bar with shuffleboard in the back. A little smaller of a place but we went on a Saturday at 4pm and it was a perfect steady busy.

Yelp
Didn't get served. Sat at bar where there was only one other patron. Bartender was making drinks for table in the back so understood the wait. She didn't acknowledge me or say it would be a while. 15 minutes later I'm still sitting there with nothing. Thought about going next door to Wine and Spirits shop, buying a bottle of bourbon, and asking for a glass. If you want a drink, there are many better places right down the street.

Yelp
This is a small cocktail bar with live music. I've been here a few times and the most recent time was just not good. I was very surprised by this because they had amazing cocktails the last 2 times I had been there. I'm not sure what happened but no one enjoyed the drink they got. Service at the table by the bar was great tho. Maybe it was just an off night for the bar. I'll give it another shot in the future because hopefully it was just a random bad night.

Yelp
Triple Sun Spirits is a bit of an enigma. While their cocktail craftsmanship is first class, and the floor plan in the long narrow State Street Newtown building is simple but comfortable, the dishes coming out of the kitchen are not comparable to the mastery at the bar. My son and I stopped in yesterday afternoon to check out the mixology and sample the kitchen fare. We thought a local Bucks BBQ operation was in house, but learned that was not the case. It was only there seasonally, but that they still had a snack menu of things like sandwiches, flatbreads and TexMex. Not what we hoped for, but it would do. My Vodka Basil Berry cocktail was excellent with chunky ice, House distilled vodka, raspberry/blueberry infused and basil leaf. It was a cold mellow drink that only hinted at its alcohol content. Liked it a lot! My son ordered Workhorse Golden Lager in a can. The brewery is in King of Prussia and has a solid reputation. He enjoyed its IPA-like flavor. We ordered Chicken Nachos for the young man and Tomato Basil Flatbread pour moi. Here is where things began to go south. At $17, the Nachos were predominantly chips with a unreasonably small proportion of chicken, avocado and salsa. Chips were store bought, and there was low level cheffing to combine and present the platter. Edible, but uninspired. So, too, the flatbread. Costco or Walmart prefab "flatbread," with artificial scorch marks, tomato sauce and minimal melted cheese - heated to acceptable temperature in a microwave so it was hot but soft throughout, without any crispness, nor originality ($12). The lack of effort was apparent. We ate what we got, but looked at each other with expressions that approached, "WTF?!" The coupe de grace was the closing transaction with the servers. We had good service from the one woman assigned to our table. She did a decent job until the end when she dropped off our check. Right after that a group of her friends/off duty colleagues stopped in for drink and conversation. She forgot about us as she chatted with them and eventually sent someone else to take our payment. What should have been a quick transaction turned into a 15 minute delay. Unprofessional, to say the least. With great drinks, awful food, high prices and spotty service, there is not much to recommend about Triple Sun Spirits. But, if you go, have your cocktails and go elsewhere in town for a meal. There are plenty of very good choices nearby.

Yelp
Great cocktails! Espresso Old Fashioned was perfect. Good laid back atmosphere. The raspberry basil cocktail was good too

Yelp
Appears small when you first walk in but as you continue back, there's more room. There was unexpected crowd but we quickly realized it's because there was live music tonight. There are a few high top tables along with couch seating and some games at the back. Staff were working hard to meet the needs of the crowd. You have to go to the bar for service. They sell PA spirits so I tired a couple of gin drinks and my hair and went with the whiskey options. I recommend the honey lavender martini.

Yelp
Picked up my order of Pennsylvania straight bourbon and tried it today. This place is primarily known for its fancy cocktails and they do a great job with that. This review is solely for the bourbon. This is a very good bourbon and stands up flavor and color wise with any. It is also a lot smoother than most. A bit of caramel and vanilla in there. When I do drink bourbon I typically drink Tennessee or Kentucky spirits but as this is a local distiller I wanted to give it a try. I like it a lot. It is is pricey. For a smaller bottle they get $42. I think this is steep especially when I can get other fine bourbons for less. Nevertheless it is a very good bourbon. If you like American whiskey you really should give this one a try. A Pic of the bottle is below. Mark.

Yelp
Came for the drinks, also loved the food. Wow, just Wow. Our table had flatbreads, roast beef and roast pork sandwiches. They were fantastic accompaniments to our drinks.

Yelp
Great local bar serving PA state liquors and beers. Great place to come after dinner for a few drinks. They have several spaces including a few games, TVs and even a semi private room. Bar tenders are very friendly and know how to mix good drinks. I have been here many times and have never left disappointed. I would recommend this place to anyone in the area for a nice drink, great atmosphere and chill vibe.

Yelp
Great drinks a food. Loved the shuffle board table and style. Try the old fashioned or mule

Yelp
Would have given 5 stars drinks were great bartender was fantastic. Ordered the nachos & if I could give a negative star I would. The worse nachos in the world. Queso was ice cold was supposed to have salsa there was none so the bartender gladly brought us some . Do yourself a favor get the drinks - the sazarac & old fashion !

Yelp
This was part of a great day trip for my husband's 40th. We scheduled a private tour. I was hesitant when it was a one-room operation, but Kris was awesome! He right-sized the conversation based on our interests and we walked away with an immense appreciation for him, his craft and his spirits. The cocktails were top notch, the food truck flatbreads were awesome, and ALL of the whiskeys and rums were delicious!

Yelp
This unique distillery keeps us coming back. Always inventive and rarely commonplace, the cocktails are truly delicious. In addition to the delicious cocktails, is the rustic decor with elements of historic Newtown woven throughout. The bar area has high top tables, a comfortable couch and chairs. The back has small couches paired with small tables. Along the wall, high tops allow for small groups to chat. Lastly, the mixologists are friendly, knowledgeable, and warm. They make this venue a must-visit if you're in the borough for the evening.

Yelp
This is a cutest bar in newtown. The bartenders are very friendly. The space is welcoming and cozy. Live music was nice but not too loud. Overall, great quality of cocktails. This place does not serve food. But you can order food from outside and eat here.

Yelp
This is a great place if you want a before or after dinner cocktail. The staff is very friendly and can make just about any drink - not just those on the menu. There are games and lounge chairs/couches in the back and one can easily spend a few hours sampling the libations and local beers that are also on tap. Make this a stop for a night out before you dine on State Street.

Yelp
Went here a few weeks ago for first time. Great low key atmosphere. Had a few drinks and they were super tasty. Will definitely be back.

Yelp
Sooo I hated to give a 3 star rating, but I feel I had to. Soo my boyfriend and I have been to pretty much every distillery in Philly and the surrounding area (and then some). We are at 130 breweries. This is what we do. So I would like to think..I kinda know my sh*t. I have to say I had the most fabulous Pumpkin martini I have ever had in my life here..Rimmed glass and all (always more points for a rimmed glass)! My bf ordered and Old Fashioned that was also, perfection in taste and quality. Our issue....Really our only issue..... Portions. My martini came mid glass. His old fashioned was no lie, 1/4 of a glass. This is also considering the large ice cube (which we love btw). When our drinks were placed in front of us, we both looked at each other and knew exactly what the other would say. WTH?? I have never experienced this anywhere. Really odd and disappointing. I wanted another but figured I would pay full price for another half or quarter of a drink. Sorry all, I am sad about this. but it was what it was. thanks!

Yelp
Good spirits, drinks, and friendly service. Call before going as they are not always open during advertised hours of operations. We stopped by on Monday around 7pm and they were closed, hours on the window and online state 3pm-9pm.
