"Nearly all breweries are industrial chic with open floor plans, but only one has a giant mural of a stoned chihuahua. Fittingly, it’s named Tripping Animals and it happens to be our favorite brewery in Miami right now. The Doral warehouse is an exciting place to be even on Mondays, when they give everyone paint and canvases and let you relive your elementary school days (except with beer). You’re here for that enormous selection of beer, but you should also come for the food. Trippy Kitchen, as they call it, has a menu that feels like it was designed by a pregnant woman with spontaneous cravings. There’s ribeye with curly fries, ceviche, a Venezuelan hot dog, and a charcuterie board." - ryan pfeffer, mariana trabanino, virginia otazo
"Tripping Animals is one of the few places where inviting a friend to third-wheel doesn’t make you a weirdo. That friend, of course, has four legs and loves belly rubs. The Doral brewery is pet-friendly, and you could use an emotional support animal by your side. Tripping will help you figure out if your match is a dog person or cat person without paying for overpriced drinks. During happy hour, draft beers are all $2 off. Don’t open a tab. Pay as you go." - virginia otazo, mariana trabanino, ryan pfeffer
"Doral has transformed from a bland assortment of warehouses and cookie-cutter homes to a dynamic food and drink destination, including this brewery. What began with a group of friends experimenting with whatever ingredients they could find in Caracas, Venezuela, led to the opening of Tripping Animals Brewing Co. in Miami, which provides handcrafted beer and a community-oriented vibe. IPAs like Mahi Did It and King of Everything are crowd-pleasers. Bonus: The art on cans and bottles is just as good as the beer." - Alona Martinez
"When: 4-7pm, Monday-Friday The Deal: $2 Off Draft Beers Tripping Animals makes Mondays fun. The Doral Brewery is always cooking up cool events like arts and crafts sessions on Mondays, and open mic nights on Wednesdays. It’s a space dedicated to taking yourself less seriously, evidenced by beers named “shake ya tailfeather” and “no mames.” $2 off their drafts may not be the deal of the century, but Tripping Animals is still a great spot to relax after work and pretend you have some artistic ability. "How to get in touch: Submit your request here. This Doral brewery is perfect for big parties where people want room to roam. The giant taproom can fit up to 100 people, the playground area can be cleared for between 60 to 80, and the large outdoor patio can accommodate up to 150. This is a great casual option that averages between $40 to $50 per person. They have tons of beer on tap, and prix fixe or a la carte menus to choose from. " - virginia otazo
