Craft brewery with IPAs, sours, stouts, and creative food pairings.

"The industrial design of a brewery can feel cold and depressing. However, what sets Tripping Animals apart from every other massive beer factory is their eclectic calendar of events. They’ve got comedy shows, arts and crafts, and salsa dancing nights. It’s a cool spot to cheer someone up with some wholesome activities and mingling on the back patio over IPAs. The menu also goes beyond the usual suspects of wings and burgers (although they have those too). Order the ribeye that comes with curly fries and looks like it came from a steakhouse that makes you wear nice pants." - mariana trabanino, ryan pfeffer, virginia otazo
"Nearly all breweries are industrial chic with open floor plans, but only one has a giant mural of a stoned chihuahua. Fittingly, it’s named Tripping Animals and it happens to be our favorite brewery in Miami right now. The Doral warehouse is an exciting place to be even on Mondays, when they give everyone paint and canvases and let you relive your elementary school days (except with beer). You’re here for that enormous selection of beer, but you should also come for the food. Trippy Kitchen, as they call it, has a menu that feels like it was designed by a pregnant woman with spontaneous cravings. There’s ribeye with curly fries, ceviche, a Venezuelan hot dog, and a charcuterie board." - ryan pfeffer, mariana trabanino, virginia otazo
"Tripping Animals is one of the few places where inviting a friend to third-wheel doesn’t make you a weirdo. That friend, of course, has four legs and loves belly rubs. The Doral brewery is pet-friendly, and you could use an emotional support animal by your side. Tripping will help you figure out if your match is a dog person or cat person without paying for overpriced drinks. During happy hour, draft beers are all $2 off. Don’t open a tab. Pay as you go." - virginia otazo, mariana trabanino, ryan pfeffer
"Not only does Tripping Animals make the best beer in Miami—a substance known for making it easier to speak to people you don’t know—but they also do a lot of really fun events. A quick glance at their Instagram reveals food pop-ups, DJs, comedy nights, live music, and even professional wrestling matches. The people here are also very friendly. And if still, after all these glorious opportunities to form a new adult friendship, you still can’t find anyone to talk to, they have a cat. Her name is Eleven and you can pet her and people will come up to you and start asking you questions as if she’s your cat. Play along." - virginia otazo, ryan pfeffer, mariana trabanino
"How to get in touch: Submit your request here. This Doral brewery is perfect for big parties where people want room to roam. The giant taproom can fit up to 100 people, the playground area can be cleared for between 60 to 80, and the large outdoor patio can accommodate up to 150. This is a great casual option that averages between $40 to $50 per person. They have tons of beer on tap, and prix fixe or a la carte menus to choose from." - virginia otazo
