The 38 Best Restaurants in New Delhi, India | Eater

"Price Range: $$ Located inside one of Delhi’s independent art centers, Triveni transforms the roadside chai tradition into a sit-down space. The casual cafe offers classic Indian snacks like masala cheese toast — a sandwich stuffed with onions, garlic, tomatoes, and cheese — and West Indian sabudana khichdi, a cool, lightly spiced snack made from tapioca and peanuts. In Delhi’s scorching summers, Triveni’s version of masala chaas (a thin, spiced yogurt drink) is a respite from the heat. Vibe check: Artists, potters, and dancers come together here over steaming cups and small bites." - Sharanya Deepak

The 12 Best Chaat Vendors in New Delhi | Eater

"It seems absurd to recommend a chaat dish that is eaten sitting down, but even the residents of Delhi sometimes need a moment of rest. Triveni, a cafe that operates in an art gallery in central Delhi, serves some of the city’s best palak patta chaat. Leaves of spinach are coated in besan or gram flour, fried into fritters, and topped with yogurt, mint, and tamarind chutneys, chopped onions, and sev (small pieces of spiced crunchy noodle-like snacks made from fried chickpea flour). Palak patta chaat is a classic Delhi favorite, though it hasn’t caught hold as tightly among younger generations, and it could soon begin disappearing. Triveni’s version is a perfect tea-time snack, and it goes especially well with chai." - Sharanya Deepak

A calm, peaceful place to spend some time with friends and family. The atmosphere is peaceful, not loud like other cafes, and thus is an intimate space for catching up with friends. It's small but designed in a cozy manner. If you love old buildings in Delhi, this is a must visit. Also, the food is great, tried palak chaat, bun tikki and chai.

its a peaceful and refreshing spot tucked right in the middle of Delhi’s busiest area. The ambience is calm and artsy, and the courtyard seating adds a beautiful charm, especially in pleasant weather. The food is simple, and flavourful—whether it’s their palak patta chaat, cutlets, parathas, or the thali. the service is polite and organised. However, be prepared for a wait time of around 40 minutes.Recommended for casual meetups or a quiet meal.

Visited Triveni Terrace Café, right next to the amphitheatre at Triveni Kala Sangam. The aesthetics and vibe are definitely the highlight — it’s a cute, artsy space, but quite small, so the wait time gets long, especially on weekends. Food-wise, it was a bit disappointing. The veg options are very limited, and people mostly seem to come here for the ambience rather than the food. We ordered their sandwich, and it was honestly just average — nothing unique or memorable, more like something you could make at home. It’s a nice place to sit for the vibe, but if you’re going mainly for the food, it may not fully meet expectations.

The ambiance was nice and the food was also good. We had cappuccino there which was okay and palak patta chaat which is highly recommended and it was very good. After that we had mushroom pepper fries which were also good and chocolate brownie which could have been a little better. The overall experience was very nice but a bit costly. And they should have put some kind of board outside so that people know that this is Triveni Cafe here so that people coming for the first time would have an easy time navigating.

The atmosphere is amazing, and the overall vibe makes it a perfect spot for a romantic date. You’ll definitely enjoy the experience! The only downside is that the food feels a bit overpriced, mainly because of the premium location.

Triveni Terrace Café is a serene escape in the heart of Delhi, offering a peaceful and artistic ambience that easily earns a ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ rating. It’s the perfect place to relax with a book or catch up with friends in a calm, open-air setting. The food is fresh and flavorful, deserving a solid ⭐⭐⭐⭐, with a good variety of healthy and classic options. However, the service is a major letdown — slow, inattentive, and lacking coordination, which takes away from the overall experience. Worth visiting for the vibe, but don’t go in a rush.

Good place to hang out. Service is fast. Quantity for price is less. Better order thali or combo items. We had chicken bharta and paratha. It was good. Daal ka also ok. Tomato soup was less. There is waiting and live tracking of queue so you can check out the gallery while waiting for your turn. Staff is polite and respectful.

A true cultural oasis in Mandi House! Triveni Kala Sangam is a beautifully designed space with art galleries, a theater, and an open-air amphitheater. We loved the serene atmosphere and the diverse art on display. The Triveni Terrace Cafe is a perfect spot to relax and soak in the creative energy. A must-visit for art and culture lovers.
