For the love of Mother, live in Detroit or visiting the Detroit area you must go here. Ian and his brother bring the warmth of the bars’ namesake, Tracy (their mom), to a chill, welcoming environment. Many homegrown details and craftsmanship make this quirky place comfortable and chill. Great music, games and beer. Some of our group enjoyed the frozen pickle/whiskey drink. I enjoyed my beer and the good peeps. Get there! Cheers.

Great drink prices, awesome atmosphere, fantastic karaoke crowd on Sundays and Fridays! Bar games and the pattio is amazing and beautiful! Claudia and Michael are amazing bartenders they always treat us like family!

Cozy bar with super sweet bartenders. Michael and Claudia are always on their feet, making sure everyone gets what they need. Whoever is on aux needs money thrown at them, r&b and disco hits throughout the night. My favorite bar for a night of pool and tea!

We went on a night that they had live local music. What fun!! A true dive bar, which is my favorite! Space is tight inside and every shot on the pool table is a trick shot! There's a beautiful black cat that roams the property. The outside area is spacious and full of seating, including lots of porch swings. Booze is reasonably priced.

One of my favorite spots to hangout. The vibe is very relaxed and open. Lots of outdoor space and free pool Mondays.

i never leave reviews but i stopped in here for a quick beer… awesome bar, great ambiance, great music, great people, great prices and drinks also the backyard/patio is sick. claudia (don’t know if i spelled that right) was helping us tonight and she was awesome too. would seriously recommend stopping by if you are in the area, honestly i’d recommend stopping by even if you aren’t close lol.

Although a bit small inside, it's still a great place to listen to live entertainment, have a drink, and relax. The staff are friendly and helpful, the atmosphere is relaxed and the outside area is absolutely amazing.

Loved Trixies! House cat and swings in the back patio, good prices on drinks, and really good sound for live bands.

I have been here before. Wish the whole outside was covered but partially it was. I like the cats though. They make my night. Can't complain the drinks are reasonably priced and nice people.

Trixies is amazing! The outdoor beer garden is legit AF. Service is spectacular. There's 2 cute house cats roaming around and it's also doggo friendly. I come here for pool and there's not only 1, but 3 tables.

Fun place to enjoy some adult beverages. The bartender was very friendly as were the other patrons. Interesting decor!

I came here on a whim on a random Tuesday night with a couple friends and we were pleasantly surprised with a great atmosphere and amazing vibes and great people to talk to. Bartender is super friendly and the shirley temples are amazing. So much grenadine and so cheap! Drinks are priced fantastically and it's a nice place to spend a few hours and socialize.

This is definitely NOT a safe space! Had a really upsetting experience at Trixie's bar in Hamtramck last night. They had this supposed celebration of the LGBTQ community with mostly male go-go dancers mostly pandering to gay men there. It seamed sexually open and fun at first, if you are into that kinda thing, until a few of us sitting at the bar suddenly had this naked guy lap dancing on us without receiving any ques of consent or eye contact or a smile or anything from us. I think he thought it was cute to make us feel uncomfortable. I first noticed this guy rubbing himself all over Viktoriyah (my girlfriend ) and I could see although she was smiling and trying not to make a scene she was very uncomfortable, squirming and trying to push him off of her but he wouldn't get off. I immediately stood up to move to get him off of her and when he saw that quickly and threatenly move in front of me and used his body to push me back in my seat and started vigorously rubbing himself on me and when I told him to "get the fuck off of me, he would not and instead pushed himself tight onto me and did it all the more forcefully! I finally got my footing then got my hands onto his shoulders and pushed him back forcefully and stood up and called out loudly "I told you to fucking get off of me!" He than began to threaten me physically. I turned to the bartenders looking for help and said "we are being sexually assaulted here" we need help. They both shrugged their shoulders and turned around and did NOTHING!! The told me "I should just leave", as though I was the problem. I then turned to the women collecting the money at the door and told her what was going on and she said she'd try to find someone who could help. She could not. This guy was now running around trying to tell everyone there I was a problem and I got no help. Probably 30 or so people witnessed all this and did NOTHING!!! I was there with five other trans women celebrating Viktoriyah and my Birthdays. I'm still really shaken up about this. Trixie's was happy for us to leave as we where upsetting there cool assault vibe. I'm not sure if I should be talking to the police or what...? I feel so violated and Trixie's was totally 100% complicit!!! No security, no owner, no one to stop this guys open assault. They just backed him up as if it some guys right to touch and rub himself all over other people regardless of them saying "no get off of me!!!!????" Wtf!!!! I don't ever want to go back there and will not support a place that promotes and condones sexual assault!!! This place should be shut down as far as I'm concerned

Best place to drink a beer, listen to music and pet a cat. Not only do the over arching vines create a mystic feel, but you can enjoy an ice cold pbr while you relax on the oak swings

Trixie's is always a great time, affordable drinks, wide selection, and friendly staff. The stage is great for small shows and the backyard space is beautiful in the summer.

You can see comics like Detroit red and Melanie hern on a random Tuesday! Great bands.. Djs and the absolute best patio in all of Detroit .. it has the most eclectic and fun crowd. Everyone is welcome .. no cliques at trixies.. :)

LOVE Trixie's! Come here if you want to have a great time! Nate the bartender is a sweetie and made the night so fun! The decorations are so cozy and make the whole experience more enjoyable. Highly recommend going on a karaoke night.

Dive bars don't really get any better. Family-owned and operated, Trixie's has become a post-game staple for me and others who support the Detroit City FC. The bar is a bit janky in an endearing, Hamtramck sort of way. Stuff on the walls, graffiti in the bathrooms, a little beat up, but beaming with character and warmth. They have a huggggeee backyard with three poured cement patios, lots of chairs+tables and giant Jenga. You can park on the street or in the small side lot next to the building. The bartenders are always friendly. They run awesome specials for DCFC match days (and not). I suggest checking the door at the end of the bar; they post the week's specials there. You'll find a small stage that often hosts open mic comedy some nights and karaoke on others. No pool table but they do have TouchTunes you can control from your phone. Sometimes the bartenders have a gaming system set up and they'll let you play as well. I love this place.

Good booze at an affordable price Andy and Nate are super nice Pool tables, karaoke, comedy & shows, It's a no brainer, it's the place to go.

No reviews for Trixie's! Come on Hamtramck give this place some love. This is a classic dive bar in the City full of grit. Trixie's was great from the minute I walked in I started getting pumped up, and the karaoke host was awesome, he had a really nice set of bananas, and he was tons of fun and pumping out some great karaoke songs, even fun enough to get me up there. The drinks prices were ok and the bartenders were good and the wait for the most was really minimal. It had a really good crowd all seemed like they were having a good time. Oh and don't forget to check out the patio, that place was great. The zero gravity chairs, benches, tables and plenty of room to hang outside and enjoy some fresh air. I definitely recommend stopping at Trixie's if you're out and about in Hamtramck. A classic dive bar and should not be missed.

This place has a great vibe to it. The backyard is the best and the open mic standup night is really fun. They also have karaoke nights. Friendly service and a great place to just hangout.

Trixie's Bar is my favorite new place to have a drink in Hamtramck. Love the porch, love the bartender, love the decor!

Do yourself a favor, and seek this place out, if you are in Detroit. It's worth it. Good selection of beers, and friendly staff. No attitude here! Good vibes. Awesome place! Live music. Cheap drinks! Did I mention cheap drinks?

If you're looking for a clean nonsmoking bar in Hamtramck with great live music--this is your spot. The drinks are cheap and the sound system is great.
