I strongly recommend that no person eat at this restaurant. This restaurant has three major flaws: 1. The food quality is awful. After waiting 45 minutes for a grilled cheese. I received two slices of bread and cheddar cheese uncooked. The attached photo shows the meal. 2. The service is rude. Upon being seated by the hostess, the server approached our table and angrily asked why we were sitting. After we explained that we had been seated, the server begrudgingly took our order. By the end of the meal, the server threw the check on the table and walked away before we could ask any questions. 3. The service is slow. It took 55 minutes to receive scrambled eggs and grilled cheese. When the server did bring the meal, they did not care and quickly walked away before we could ask for anything else. This was one of the worst restaurant experiences I have had, and hope that others do not have to endure it.

Limited, but nice, staff. Restaurant was empty upstairs, and the one party that was there when were seated ended up leaving, warning us and wishing us better luck at getting timely service and food. They were allegedly there for 15 minutes and only had water at their table. The menu looked good, but we cut our losses, drank our coffee and spirited beverages (cocktails were refreshingly strong) and left. We were understandably concerned about how the kitchen was staffed and didn't want to regret sticking it out.

I really wanted to love this restaurant since I was so excited for it to open 2 blocks from my house. I gave it three chances, but each of my three visits was a disappointment. The first time I went, I had looked up the menu online and knew what I wanted to order, but when I got there, the server told me they decided not to include that section of the online menu! The second time I went, I had a delicious salmon, but the dressing on my mom’s salad made it inedible. The third time I visited, I ordered a chicken curry salad. It was just spring mix with extremely bland grilled chicken on top. Everyone at my table said it tasted like nothing, which is not what you expect from something described as curry! Also, my friend ordered an omelet thinking there was no way to ruin one, but somehow this kitchen managed not to fully cook it. The only thing that was consistent over the three visits was the EXTREMELY slow service. You have to wait forever for your food, and when it arrives it just doesn’t taste good. It’s really a shame because it’s a beautiful location and I was so excited about it. I love the trolley car diner in mount airy. But this place is a far far far cry from its big sister

We would love to see this place succeed, but we had a really disappointing experience. On a morning with just one other table eating breakfast, it took more than a half hour for our breakfast order to be ready. When served, two of the dishes (omelets) were cold. Our coffee was not refilled until we asked. The waitstaff were friendly but seemed clueless about how to provide decent service. The food seemed like it would have been perfectly fine if it had been served warm. Hopefully it will get better.

Fantastic atmosphere and delicious food, but what was especially wonderful was the warm customer service that was received. Our server Brittany was absolutely amazing and attentive. The assistant manager Rye was equally as wonderful and attentive to our needs. Both have fantastic customer service. Great service, great food what's not to love.

I came here a few weeks ago and fell in love with 'church' trivia on Sunday night! The food was fantastic and the service was great! I have definitely been talking it up and am HORRIFIED to learn that they have mass fired their amazing staff. I will never set foot in this place again - their behavior is unacceptable. Oh, and I walk by there almost daily. I have no issue walking up to people sitting outside in the future and telling them the history of the business. 😭😡

I am frustrated by this place. I have been here twice, and the food was great each time. The staff is friendly, and the location is unique and the design aesthetically pleasing. However, the service is unbearablely slow. It will take 45min+ to get an omelette despite the place being near empty. I hope they improve this because this restaurant has a lot of promise.

I never give bad reviews but once I was seated it wasn't clear who was taking food and drink orders. The drink took 20 mins and the food never showed. The menu said be patient, we make food from scratch so it'll take a while. Which is cool, but I didn't want to be rude so I waited instead of asking which was my mistake I suppose. And if you didn't flag someone down no one would ever come by, really. Even paying the check was difficult for the same reason. Wouldn't go again.
