I love this location. The smoothies are super tasty and consistently good. The women who work weekday morning shifts are just so friendly and awesome. ALL of them. (Especially Doris y Nadia)They know me. They know my children and make the best smoothies ever. They are kind and give great energy every morning. Update April 2024 Smoothie bowls are fantastic! Especially love the Acai bowl

I love their green smoothie. Quick and friendly service. Note there is only one size for smoothies. More food options were available then last time I visited.

I like this location because all time from Arlington come to here to get my special smoothie without ice, she do know how to make for me only by water and makes delicious chia Banana bost 😋 The Girl who make smoothie she's a professional 5🤩 🙏

Always a delight to come here and snack. The ladies there are very nice and efficient. Definitely worth the visit! Value is perfect! I ordered the peanut butter crunch, and it was just delicious

I ordered a banana peanut butter crunch flatbread for breakfast alongside my smoothie, hoping to enjoy a sweet treat, only to find out they pressed my flatbread using a press that was just used for basil pesto… It was also the worst put together flatbread I’ve ever experienced from TroSmo, as my old regular trosmo would slice the bananas and evenly distribute the granola (all the granola was on only half of the flatbread) They didn’t even put a straw in my bag! I love tropical smoothie but I’d visit a different location if I were you!

I've been going to tropical smoothie for years this location in particular is perfection. The sandwiches and wraps are made with love the smoothies are freshly made the place was squeaky clean and the staff was very nice this is what a tropical smoothie experience should be like 👍

Purchased a smoothie last night, the smoothie was full of pieces of i dont know what, and had an odd taste, not like any peanut paradise i ever had, it was awful, i poured the remainder of the $8 drink dwn the drain, the pic of the cup show alot of particles. Up until now, im feeling sick from tht drink. A hit or miss, with this place, sometimes the smoothies are really good, sometimes Not, same with the food

These three Spanish women were very weird and passive aggressive. They were talking trash about me in Spanish, thinking I couldn't understand so weird.

Decent spot. The chicken meals are rather small for their price. Yes inflation is real, but one would expect a bit more filling. I like the variety of smoothies they have here. Also you can get a protein choice with them. My recommendation for bulking up and general health is the whey. Their smoothies are quite delicious. I haven't found one I don't like. The employees here are very friendly. This is a good spot for a first date. It is close and convenient to a lot in the area. Parking is usually fairly easy as well. The store itself is very clean and organized.

Obviously the food is great, but this location has screwed up my orders twice now, not caring whether or not the delivery driver has the full order before leaving the store. Incomplete orders, nobody held accountable. Also, the phone number listed is wrong. They've lost my business.

I found 3 fucking hair in the wrap I got ! As much as I do love the concept of their drink menu but they're suck at hiring good employees! This is my second bad experience with tropical smoothie cafe !

Every time I visit this location, the service is always prompt and everything is served really quickly and efficiently. They are also super friendly and professional :) Don't forget to utilize the mobile app to collect points, if you happen to frequent Tropical Smoothie Cafe. I usually will order a smoothie & wrap for myself, and then another smoothie & sandwich combo for my partner, so they have been consistently getting it done promptly.

I ordered a smoothie and was very specific about what I wanted in it due to certain things upsetting my stomach. When I heard the next customer specify that she did not want sugar in hers, I made sure to confirm that they were not adding sugar to my smoothie. The cashier said they already made it with sugar. I nicely told her that I cannot drink it because it will upset my stomach and since I was specific on what I wanted and paid $10 for the smoothie I would appreciate them remaking it correctly. The cashier was extremely rude and mumbled under her breath I guess they're remaking it after arguing with me for a good 5 minutes and then dismissed me by yelling next . I didn't hear what she mumbled so I confirmed that they were remaking it. She then said that's what I just said and rolled her eyes. It's very disappointing that I had to argue with the cashier to get the correct smoothie that I paid for. I will not be coming here again.

Service 0/10 the cashier didn't notice I was at the counter because she was on her phone . I kid you not 5 seconds after I ordered my food it was done . I checked my sandwich and it was filled with raw bacon. I won't be returning to this location.

Located next to Starbucks and in the same shopping center as LIDL. I usually come here if I want to get something fast and to go. They have an app that helps too. I usually either get their sunrise sunset or kiwi quencher. They have options you can do for their smoothies such as supplements you can add or sugar substitutes. Their wraps are great too. The caesar wrap and Thai are my favorites. The chicken caprese was also delicious. Would definitely recommend.

i've been here buying a Bahama mama for the last three months. The new cashier charged me for extra coconut when I asked for no pineapple. I was only in the shop for about five minutes they make a very good smoothie but the red Beard gentleman working behind the counter don't know if he's a manager or not. White his nose on his shirt because he ditched her something four times quite disgusting. Plus they charge me the $.99 over. Will not be coming back to this one.

If I could have a smoothie from Tropical Smoothie every day, I would never have a savings account! Therefore once a week is the going rate! So glad I have willpower! Let's see how long I can resist,counting 1-2-3!

If your diabetic do not drink smoothies from here. 100 grams of sugar per smoothie. Tastie but dangerous. Don't do it

Ok, I'm really glad we went with Tropical Smoothie Cafe for lunch instead of a different, larger sandwich chain. I ordered online, so I do not have any experience at the actual location. But the food we got was delivered really quickly, still warm, and tasted delicious. Co-workers and I all ended up ordering the same flatbread with a different smoothie. The Chicken Chipotle Flatbread was inhaled by all! I liked the little bit of kick from the chipotle mayo and didn't find any one ingredient overpowering or over-represented. A good mix of flavors and textures throughout the whole thing. The flatbread is more like pita bread, soft with some grill marks from getting toasted. I personally loved it and loved that it was folded in half for easy handling. We each got a different smoothie: Strawberry Beach, Pomegranate Plunge, and Sunny Do. The guy with the Sunny Do finished his first and let out an audible sigh when he was done. He liked it that much. I think it had mango and banana in it. My other co-worker stole my Pomegranate Plunge....so I'm still a bit bitter about that, but he seems to enjoy it. My unintentional Strawberry Beach smoothie tasted good. I was most surprised by the amount of smoothie we got! Smoothies were only $4.99 when added to a flatbread and this is like 24 oz of smoothie goodness! $6.99 on their own. I did not read the size on the menu when ordering and was truly surprised when they arrived! Overall, super happy with the food here and may order again this week.

Wasn't too pleased with my service or what I ended up sucking through my straw from my smoothies !!! This was done intentionally and I can guarantee you I will not be back to the establishment it has been ran down and is no longer on my places to visit !!!

Every time I come to this TS, I always have a problem. Whether it's the system not taking cards, wrong order, or not having certain toppings. There's never a sign to let customers know in advance. Staff is very rude! It's always the Latin woman that work there that don't seem to give good customer service. I only encounter this location because I just happen to be in the area doing errands. This will be my last time coming here. I rather go out of my way to go to another one.

Açaí berry smoothie is my favorite smoothie here. The chicken wraps are a hit or miss. I've enjoyed the Thai chicken wrap and Caesar chicken wrap. Placing your order in the app or online is simple. Never had an issue with my order at this location and workers have been courteous.

The smoothies and food are good but once you give them your contact info you receive a steady stream of marketing pop ups with no way to opt out.

Tropical smoothie is bae... I repeat, tropical smoothie is bae!!! I like this location because it close to my house and the parking is really easy. As a creature of habit I only get the Paradise Point and of course add ginger. If you've never ordered from Tropical Smoothie please know that you'll get your monies worth as the cups are humongous!!! I also had their Sunshine smoothie (with added ginger) last Summer when they were doing their donation drive for their camp. The food is also pretty delicious as well. I LOVE their salads and will sometimes get a smoothie and salad, save the salad for lunch as the smoothie seems to fill me up. Lastly be sure to check in prior to ordering because sometimes have additional discounts when checking in and they also have Yelp cash back offers.

A consistently inconsistent smoothie shop. I live right down the street and have been to this TSC three times so far in the past two years hoping their service and efficiency has improved and every single time I had to wait over 20 minutes for one smoothie. This time though, I decided to plan ahead and place a mobile order and once again, had to wait an additional twenty minutes after the order was supposed to be ready. After sitting in the shop waiting I noticed several things that raised red flags: 1) they had messed up 3 orders before mine 2) the workers who worked in the back wore gloves then came up to the register to take orders and handle money using the same gloves 3) some of the workers in the back did not wear any gloves 4) they had 3 smoothies that were discarded because the orders were given to the wrong customers 5) the chad asked me my name and name of the smoothie i ordered a whopping total of 4 times before receiving my smoothie 6) a majority of the employees in this shop look like kids (meaning i don't believe i saw a manager on duty) 7) never received an apology for waiting 20 minutes in the store and 35 minutes total for a smoothie (should have demanded a refund and walked out but i really wanted a darn smoothie). EDIT: My husband picked up a smoothie for myself and him because I am pregnant and desperately wanted a smoothie. All was good, except his wait time again, an additional 15 minutes after calling ahead 10 minutes... and my lovely orange ginger glow smoothie with surprise sticker that I sucked up from the straw from what I am guessing is the orange.

Ordered food today, the door dash delivery person took my food from the location and kept it. No problem, I called to get a replacement. When they answered, I was cut off and handed off 2 separate times without any type of customer service and being asked to hold temporarily and such. I understand these are mostly young kids working there, so this type of behavior is simply from poor management. When I was finally given to a manager, I explained the situation, and I was told I could not get a replacement because they were too busy. Really? That's that? This type of service must be a result of the employee shortage and they chose from the bottom of the barrel. Some poor franchisee owns this location, and they are really hurting their ROI.

They really screwed up my order. I ordered and paid for one smoothie online. Wife came along and decided she wanted one too, but a different flavor. The cashier asked wife if she wanted protein (added) and she said yes. So she took that to mean she wanted two smoothies. She rang up three smoothies on the tab and I said we only want two smoothies and one was paid for online (that is, we only should be charged for one smoothie, not three). She showed me "Brad's" order for three smoothies. I said, I'm not Brad and we want two smoothies and already paid for one online. We went back and forth for 15 minutes with the cashier and the manager on duty. After about 10 minutes MY online order with receipt showed up on the counter. But they never got the order right. We ended up with two smoothies that were the same when wife ordered a different one. Very frustrating for such a simple request, just add one more smoothie to the one already ordered and paid for online. I will drive out of my way to other locations to avoid a repeat of this major FAIL.

Love the Beach Bum with white chocolate!!! It was really good definitely worth the smoothie and price.

Free birthday smoothie! Large one!! Lately I eat out a lot and feel chubbier, so I chose DETOX GREEN smoothie. Taste: Great! Ginger, kale, banana, ... I felt much better after I drank it. My heart burn was gone. Price: Many healthy things are under $10. Interior: Nothing special but clean. Staff: They are not that friendly but fast and patient with my indecisiveness. Parking lot: Lots of free spots right in front of it. Cheers!

yesterday at tropical smoothie drive in I was asked if I would give cashier a tip!! the manager told me it's a new rule from corporate that they have to ask for a tip! I'm paying over $6 for a drink and they have the nerve to ask for a tip. at a drive thru. I won't be back.

I'm giving this location 3 stars because the smoothies are very yummy. The employees are ready to take your order as soon as you walk in the door. This could be due to them trying to move customers in and out as fast as possible, because they are always busy! (Im not complaining, this is a good thing) They don't suggest items, but you are free to sample the smoothie flavors before you purchase. + The atmosphere is clean. One restroom, but it was decent. Im pleased with this establishment.

Delicious and healthy smoothies made with fresh ingredients! Their smoothie menu consists of low-fat (fruits), nutritious (with veggies), energized/supercharged (workout), and indulgent (with chocolate, etc). They offer a wide variety of fruity goodness that cater to anybody's craving. There is also the option to add supplements such as protein, flaxseed, probiotic, etc. In addition they offer wraps, sandwiches, salads, and breakfast food options. Any of these can be made vegetarian. Great location, quick service, and clean environment with plenty of seating for a low-key, casual meal. My personal favorites are the Mango Magic and Acai Berry Boost with protein. I like to order smoothies that I normally don't make at home-- like a special treat to myself after Zumba!

First let me say that I love tropical smoothie BUT this location usually messes up my order, has poor customer service and the food doesn't even taste as fresh as the location in Dunn Lorring. Online orders here are also super slow! Sandwiches/wraps are sloppily put together as well. I do not recommend this location however it's the closest one to my house unfortunately.

This location like any other has been excellent smoothies, flatbreads, etc. The cashiers are generally nice, and they are usually relatively fast although I had to wait more than 10 minutes on one or two occasions. The one issue I had with this location was that they wouldn't give me a side item with my flatbread, sandwich, etc. because I had a discount. The side item always comes with the sandwich, and they shouldn't not let you have just because you have a discount on the Trop Smoothie app or coupon.

This place is a hidden gem! I could easily get a smoothie from this place EVERYDAY!! The customer service is great, sandwitches are good, the breakfast is good .... I have nothing but great things to say about this place. This is definitely one of my go to spots.

Tropical Smoothie on Main Street in North Little Rock hummus wraps seems to be smaller and a bit more expensive depending on the cashier or order taker. When I go to the others I don't have those problems.

Great spot for a quick and healthy meal. I would highly recommend coming back. Did a takeout order and it was super simple

It's good but sometimes the smoothies taste watered down and seems like it has added sugar and some processed things in it but what can i expect for the price anyways i love trop when i'm in the mood but I would prefer it to actually be healthier than it seems

Very inconsistent service at this location. Ordered an island green and what I got was a drink that was extremely watered down and NOT a smoothie texture at all. It was more of a juice that lacked any sweetness of the island green smoothie I am used to getting. I asked for them to fix their mistake since I was paying good money for it and what they did was just add more ice which made it taste EVEN MORE watered down than it was before!!!!! The JUICE (not smoothie) went to the trash and so did my money. Either let them know before you order to make it thick or just avoid!!! These people do not know how to make a proper smoothie

Currently been sitting here for over 15 minutes waiting for a single smoothie. Still nothing.

The Staff is unprofessional and rude. The smoothies have no flavor in them. Just today I brought another two sandwiches and my family ate one and defecated from eating it. Needs new better management ASAP. I've spent my money numerous times here hoping they would get it together. This moment on I'll take my business to another Tropical Smoothie that's cleaner and friendly staff that knows about customer service!

I've ordered from here many times because I love their smoothie choices and they used to be super on point but I'm not sure what happened. The last 2 times I ordered were absolutely horrible experiences. My wrap was missing dressing completely, they forgot to give me my side, the smoothie had not ripe bananas and the strawberries were bitter AF so my jetty punch wasn't even drinkable. Sucks but I won't be back.

If I could give a zero I would. I placed an order on their app and 45 minutes later I got a notification to call the store and they advised that the order wss canceled because the dasher could not get in their car and told me I had to call door dash. Called door dash and they daid I had to dpeak with Tropical smoothie because it was ordered through there app. Now they say I have to wait up until a week to get a refund so I called the store back spoke with a manager and I asked instead of the refund just let me come pick up the order tomorrow and she said let me take your number and call you back. Never heard anything back. It was a yes or no question. I am very disappointed in both services

The location on Falls of Neuse is horrible. Orders always messed up. The Baja wrap I just got is missing the guacamole and salsa. A dry awful wrap. Go to another location.

Just moved into the area and wanted to try out the nearest Tropical Smoothie since it was a favorite of ours in Old Town. Upon walking in the cashier didn't greet us and when we were ordering he was too busy looking at his Apple Watch. Our smoothies didn't come out right but my fiancé didn't notice his until we left. However, my blueberry bliss was replaced but said "Uber" on it even though we physically ordered in store. The smoothies consistency were not what you typically receive from other Tropical Smoothie locations. It tasted watered down and lacked any real flavor. Additionally my fiancé found what looked to be a blended up lime seed in what was suppose to be his jetty punch. The food didn't make anything better. Between odd cutting jobs to soggy bread and wrap on our meals we didn't think it could get worse. Nevertheless, my fiancé found more fatty chicken in two inch chunks than anything in else his super green Cesar wrap. Needless to say we should of taken the receipt so we could have properly complained and returned our lunch. We won't be visiting this location again.

very nice staff, the smoothie was great and delivered fast. My husband and I stopped here during our road trip and would definitely come again.

Ahh! Talking about breakfast, we love tropical smoothie! Our go-to breakfast orders have always been Carribean jerk chicken wrap and Cali chicken club. Fast service, friendly staff, clean place. What else could we ask for?

I love their wide range of smoothies and the selection of add ins. My go-to drinks are the mango madness and sunrise sunset smoothies. They only have one size cups and its huge. You can always ask them to split it into two kid cups so you can share it with someone else. They have kid sizes but the flavors are limited.

I ordered a smoothie at 3:57pm, time was on the receipt. I did not receive a smoothie for 30 minutes. I came up and asked why It was taking so long, and they said "they couldn't get the pinapple out of the container. They let me sit there for 25 min without giving me a reason. They had 3 people on staff, and had a sign up saying they were "understaffed but please be patient". I work in customer service and can run a whole coffee shop by myself. I know stuff happens but they were careless and seemed annoyed when all I asked was "is there a reason why the Smoothie is taking 25 minutes to make?"

What is the point of ordering online, requesting curbside delivery, and then not having anyone staff the phones for when customers arrive? After waiting 15 minutes, I needed to get out of my car and wait on a line that went out into the parking lot in order to pick up my order. 45 minutes spent just for pick up. This location needs a better process for their curbside delivery.

Same old same tropical smoothie cafe experience :) When it's so hot outside you need a smoothie to make you cool a bit.. And what's better then mocha madness smoothie :) the missing star is for there prices - I think it's s bit expensive ... But I be back when it's a hot day out there :)

Updated to review: I received the following response today to my review. I would like to update my review to clarify that I don't know which N. Va locations were involved in the hep A debacle as multiple emails asking for clarification were all rebuffed. Because of this lack of communication my entire family received Hep A vaccinations, but hey, probably a good one to have. Anyway as all stories have multiple sides, here is Sean K's: "We never had any hepatitis incidents at this store. Your post just hurts our locally owned business and brings it down. It's not only insensitive and offensive but it's innacurate. Your free to post what you want but it should be factual and not blatantly innacurate. This is a small businsss locally owned and for you to post something about hepatitis on our page is repulsing." I don't get it. Tropical smoothie must be made of teflon. They basically gave all of northern Virginia hepatitis A last summer & yet, we go back. The trash cans are always overflowing, yet, we go back. This visit the app's $5 loyalty reward wouldn't scan, the cashier merely shrugged and said 'better luck next time' and you know I'll be back. One of these days I'll figure out how to make a blimey limey at home & finally be free from this spell Tropical smoothie has cast on me. I wish

I went to the tropical smoothie in deer park New York and was very dissatisfied with my entire experience. I called my order in (just a Peanut butter cup smoothie) when I get there I pay for my order and it's not ready. Which was fine but what wasn't fine was that I ended up waiting 20 minutes for my drink while other people orders their stuff and left before me I ended up getting upset and saying something. only to find out they never put my order up to be made.(also between all this one of the employees asked what I was waiting for I told her and than just ignored what I said) than when they finally did make my smoothie I had to grab it and rush out I ended up being late for work (even though I called my order in so that wouldn't happen) and when I finally take a sip of my smoothie it was so disgusting and water down that I literally threw the whole thing out with only two sips taken out. WASTE OF MONEY

This morning was the last time I ever give a dime to Tropical Smoothie Cafe. I am seriously traumatized. Upon sipping my smoothie I felt something in my mouth and after examining what I thought was maybe coconut flake - even though my Paradise Point wouldn't have coconut flakes in it - I realized it was plastic. I chalked it up to an isolated, albeit gross, accident and continued to drink. Again, more plastic and again and again. I dumped the smoothie out into a strainer to see what was going on and there is seriously a plastic bag shredded up throughout the smoothie. How does this happen? Who is negligent enough to serve this? What if I was giving this smoothie to my child and they choked? This location in particular suffers from a workforce of disengaged teenagers and very rude women that seem like they need a lesson in customer service but I can look past that if I'm in and out with my smoothie. Today, I'm shocked and disgusted. Door dash refunded my order but I also called the store to give the manager a heads up that this happened. He was very concerned and nice enough but I don't think he appreciated the gravity of the situation. TSC corporate needs to know this kind of stuff happens in their stores and do something about it.
