I fell in love with Tropical Smoothie Café when I lived in Florida, and the Blimey Limey has been my go-to ever since. It is a bright, tangy blend of strawberries, pineapple, orange juice, and lime. Refreshing, balanced, and just the right amount of zing. It hits the spot every single time. I recently stopped by the Brookland location after walking through the nearby farmers market and was pleasantly surprised. There were just a couple of people ahead of me, and the staff was fast, efficient, and genuinely friendly. The café itself was spotless, which immediately set a great tone. One thoughtful detail that stood out was that they brought the drink directly out to me with a straw. It is a small gesture, but it made the experience feel more personal, especially for a franchise spot. All in all, the Blimey Limey was as delicious as ever, and the service made the visit feel warm and welcoming. This location gets a full five stars from me.

This is a great location. The staff is friendly and the store is very clean. Everyone is very personable and eager to help. The ONLY reason I gave it 4 out of 5 stars is it’s a newer location and the young ladies are still learning and getting a flow for orders. Sometimes the wait it a little normal than I expect. When I’m trying to catch the train or get to class, etc it can through you off a little. That’s my only complaint but I’m sure with time it will more time efficient. I like the staff and vibe though!

Bahama Mama bowl was surprisingly bad. The base was way too icy, the toppings were sickeningly sweet and the granola was so coated in sugar it gets stuck in your teeth. Portion size is also terrible for the price

Young rude black girl. Yanked the keys from me and refused me to use the bathroom, even after I paid for my smoothie. Rude while she even spoke to me. Oh and always have cash with you because this crappy place doesn't accept cash!! From the online reviews I read, this problem has been ongoing. If this location is not fixed, I'm getting ready to escalate to corporate.

I placed an mobile order by mistake, I have a hard time not seeing too good, I then immediately tried to cancel through the app, but was unable to. I called the store and explained to them that I made an mistake placing an order. The employee told me that's not their problem and was unable to refund my money so I took this as an loss😔 I never had an problem before at any other restaurant like this. Very bad customer service. I will not order from them again!

This is my first time visiting tropical smoothie. The atmosphere was relaxed. The workers smiled often and were kind. I ordered the peanut butter and banana smoothie it was so good! Someone shared some with me the other day and I decided to get my own. It was fulfilling! I also ordered the hummus wrap. It was a little more watery than I had vision, but it was tasteful and it satisfied me for the day I will be coming back to this location more often.

I order a wrap and a smoothie to be delivered only the wrap arrive I been trying to get in touch with the store and the number is wrong. This is unacceptable.

It's pretty good, it's the usual smoothie I'd expect. I got the beach bum one with white chocolate. Refreshing and good texture/consistency as it's not super watery. It seems clean in the shop as well. The only issue was the service, although they were quick with coming to the register and making the drink, I overheard some of the staff arguing with each other so that was slightly awkward/uncomfortable.

This place made me want to become a smoothie girl. So incredibly tasty, great healthy options without sugar... and incredibly clean. If you need a quick pick me up after shopping here in the outdoor markets during the weekend or after studying long hours, come here for a locally owned drink.

Amazing experience! The workers are awesome. I had an issue with my coupons and they were more than professional and helpful. Food was fresh and delicious. Store was clean and neat. I ended up getting more than planned and definitely will be back soon!

The owner of this location Scot C. Moore is incredibly unhelpful and unprofessional. I placed a order through the app Monday July 11th at his location by mistake. Once I realized the error I immediately contacted the store to inform them and request a refund because again it was a error and I never picked up the order. The store instructed me to report it through the app because they couldn't issue a refund. No problem I did as instructed. I received a email from the store owner Scot that evening stating he was sent my info and to give him more details because he's not sure what I'm expecting. I replied to the email again explaining I made a order at his location by mistake and wanted a refund, he never responded back. After contacting him again Wednesday about it he told me to contact corporate as he wasn't going to be rushed. It is now Thursday and I still not been refunded from a incident that occurred Monday. Scot C. Moore has been absolutely no help and has shown poor customer service skills, there is no reason why it should take a week to resolve a $10 issue.

The crew is always on it and the smoothies at this TSC is incredibly tasty. From the day this location opened I have never had any issues. Also I have to mention ... Mel's attention to detail is phenomenal.
