Tropical Smoothie Cafe

Smoothies are always missing from delivery service. When you call the store an employee will tell you to track down their manager Christopher in order to get a refund. Been through this 3 times in the past 6 months. I only reccomended if you are going there in person to make sure your oder is correct and you have complete order.

This location used to be good, but now the service is absolutely terrible. The workers simply do not know how to do their job. They mess up something with my order frequently and are not respectful or helpful when you bring it to their attention. Not to mention, I accidentally dropped my smoothie during my last visit here and asked them to remake it for me which they did, but they made it completely wrong the second time. On top of that, one of the workers gave me a mop to clean up the mess and didn’t even ask politely, she just pointed to the mess and then the mop. I would’ve cleaned up the mess on my own, but the disrespect of the situation makes me never wanna go here again. Smoothies are expensive, I’d rather have good service and a good smoothie if I’m gonna be spending the money on it. Do not recommend this location. I know that I will not be going here again.

My Favorite smoothie place in the area and it is not even close! They also have great food in their wraps and sandwiches!!! I highly recommend for anyone in Swamp/Marblehead Area!

This store was once one of the best, the food service and smoothies use to be the bomb, now the smoothies are watered down tásele like poop along with the presentation of the food they serve looks horrible. This store has changed a lot and the employees working here now are the worst based on service and flavor.

They’re terrible. I’ve had more orders done incorrectly here than anywhere else. Food with frequently come missing sides that was stated to be included online, like chips, and they don’t do a very good job handling alterations to food. Every once in a while my group will attempt to order a cheese quesadilla, by ordering a chicken with the no chicken option. This workers about 30% of them time in my experience. In addition, they offer edible straws for about $.99 as an add on to any smoothie. When they come, they’re delicious, but they also come about 30% of the time. If you’re going to order from here, don’t expect to receive what you order.

Got food poisoning from the chicken bacon ranch flat bread… this store used to be good but ever since they’ve hired young hs kids it went downhill… having these type of workers is what gets u food poisoning since they don’t take cooking seriously…

I bought two smoothes for my kids and they both went into the trash. My two kids hated them. I sampled the smoothies too and confirmed that they where trash. $18 down the drain. I usually don't give bad reviews. But come on I threw away $18. Into the trash. Like that hurts. Give me my money back. Edit. I left the review because the store was extremely dirty. And employees were more interested into talking to friends than doing their job. And smoothie not edible. That was Almost a year ago and I don't plan on wasting anymore money or time on this place. I give five stars now. Since I don't plan on giving them a follow up Edit I put it back to 4 star. I never got my money back.

I was driving by and saw this new spot, so I stopped by to order pickup. The online order process is a little confusing, but I made sure to customize the smoothie first then the sandwich for a meal. I ordered a sunrise sunset smoothie, added ginger and vitamin C, and a turkey apple Dijon sandwich with no bacon. The smoothie was huge and delicious, definitely worth the $4.99. It was made with strawberries, pineapple, mango, and orange juice + ginger & vit C. When I picked up my order, it was ready quickly, within 10 min and the staff was friendly. The turkey Apple Dijon included turkey, bacon, kale and apple slaw, a smoked cheese blend & honey dijon on 9-grain bread. I asked for no bacon and subbed the bread for ciabatta. The first bite I thought was really good, I loved the flavor of the apple kale slaw with turkey. But I quickly realized they put a ton of bacon on my sandwich which I was really disappointed about. Please be mindful if you offer an option "no bacon" please pay attention. I wanted to love this place because I loved the smoothie but if I spend money on a sandwich vs making it at home, that's a mistake I wouldn't make.

My second time here. Staff are courteous and service is fast. My first time here I got a mango smoothie. So delicious ! Second visit I got the all American wrap. So good!

Where do I begin. I ordered via Uber and the order was cancelled by the store siting that they "could not get to my order at this time". I saw it 30mins later when I arrived home and realized food should be arriving shortly. I then drove to the store with my order and tried to reorder it there. There was only one person at the store who just walked in and two people working. I gave the cashier my phone with the original order but he didn't look below each item for modifications and I realized this after I paid and had to update him on sides and modifications. They also forgot two sides and I had to walk back over for those after the fixed the sandwiches to proper modifications and add ons. I bought the edible straws which were all broken into pieces when I got home and I had no regular straws as backup. They are hard sugar tubes like the wand you use in lik-s-stick candy to put in the powder. So yea don't get those. Then I opened up the meals and was surprised to find that my daughters kids grilled cheese was about twice the size of my caprese sandwich and my caprese was made with dry bread ends. Now I get using all parts of the bread but this was pretty bad and the filling was nonexistent although what I did get tasted good. My other daughter ate her chicken bacon ranch before I finished putting out the food. There chicken alternative is excellent and vegan. The smoothies were also good. The problem is that those 4 sandwiches and 2 smoothies took 22 mins to prepare. After already losing an hour to cancellation and driving. Not really worth it. Flavors are great. Service is slow. Bad choices are made with online ordering rejection and bread apparently. Probably won't go back which is a shame as it was my first visit and such a refreshing alternative to area options.

Love the consistency of their smoothies and tons of combinations to pick from. A little pricey considering its about $8 a smoothie since they only offer one size. But the drink is big enough to replace a whole meal so I think the price is reasonable. Service provided is perfect, looking forward to trying other items from their menu

We had a great little dinner here one night recently. I had the Cali Chicken Club and that was great. My son had a ham and cheese roll-up in the kids meal and he loved it. My daughter tried the chicken Caesar wrap and that was the best meal of the night. We also had some really good smoothies. The kids loved the Sunrise-Sunset.

If you have not been here, GO! Visited last month and the young gentlemen behind the counter were so welcoming & work together as a team. They asked me questions and made great suggestions! Upon arriving the place is extremely clean & shiny. lol You may think that 2 smoothies are pricey about $15. The size is one size (large), great taste, and they will customize if you have a restriction.

The detox green smoothie is delicious and less than 200 calories! Highly recommend this place, they do a great job.

Avocoolada is delightful if you want a treat. The low calorie green smoothie is healthy and delicious. My kids love the quesadillas and my husband says the Thai peanut sandwich wrap thing is great. All around it's become a family favorite in our household.

I go here a lot with my toddler so we can split one of their smoothies. I generally get a shot of protein in there too to round it out. Some of the employees just "get" how disappointing it is to see half of the smoothie and protein thrown down the drain cause they added too much water to fit into one cup, especially when i'm getting an extra cup to share with my toddler anyway. Some don't get it, but I don't intend to ask them each. Just figure out how to control the viscosity of the smoothies so i get the ingredients i paid for, or give me the extra watered down smoothie in the second cup. I should say that the manager who is usually there is good about this.

The best service I've had at a tropical smoothie cafe, so friendly and quick, in and out with 4 smoothies and a wrap, to top it off the man working the drawer ran to the door to hold it open for us!

Tropical smoothie cafe is so convenient for me, I live right up the street! Sometimes, I just need a refresh and I have to make it healthy. Tropical smoothie cafe has the best wraps to, I recommend you try them. I love tropical smoothie cafe and you should to!

What a nice surprise! Dropped in on a whim for a smoothie. Instead ordered a sandwich & smothie. Wow.. flavor, fresh, fast service, clean and priced within reason. Went back a 2nd time and had the same experience..

Both food orders were wrong. Also, they told me they would recredit my card, and a week later no credit. I guess it wasn't very important.

Amazing fruit smoothie! The smoothie tasted great and it was cool you can customize the drinks but, I wish they offered smaller drink sizes as well. Will definitely go back again!

Service is efficient despite any long lines. Quality is top notch fresh. Frozen yogurt is excellent. My hat off to the cows on the premises. Their milk has a nice fresh taste, too. I have been coming here for the occasional ice cream for years now. They are in the top two spot. Tied with Kimball Farms.

Really good food and smoothies. Great service every time I am there. I wish they sold a smaller size for my kids but I'm not sure they'd want a smaller one anyway. Keep up the good work and thanks for staying open

I love this place. Have tried a bunch of the wraps and they are all so good and fresh. The kale apple slaw is SO good (check your bag to make sure it is in there, they forget to put it in half the time). Also everyone that works here is so nice. For an after school job all these kids seem to take pride in their work. They are all so polite and sweet. I live down the street and this is now a go too for a quick lunch/smoothie.

Hit or miss. Some days this place has UNREAL smoothies, often forget the protein powder (huge taste difference, and some days boys who work here are in a rush to be on their phones and left with a smoothie full of ice chunks and unblended fruit. The days that it's good though it's REALLY good. Suggestion for owner to not allow employees to be blaring explicit music throughout the restaurant though, since this place has a kid menu therefore geared towards being family friendly. I've brought mine in a few times, and while profanity doesnt offend me, it's highly inappropriate around him.
