Tropical Smoothie Cafe

First let me say “all PB protein bowls aren’t created equal “ I get one almost everyday but the normal spots I go to have been missing the mark. That was until I came here. I just picked up my bowl and it’s the best one I’ve ever had. Every store should make it exactly like the one at this location because it tastes absolutely amazing! Great job guys

I am so disappointed I order a turkey bacon ranch sandwich bread is so hard can’t even eat at all. This food cost too much for this. I wish I can post a video so you can hear me tapping into the bread.

Purchased a Bahama Mama bowl for my daughter. We get home she takes a bite and immediately spits it out because the pineapples were spoiled. I called the restaurant to let them know the pineapples were bad and the workers response was “why you say that?” So I told her that they stink and taste like they’ve been soaking in alcohol to which she responded “ok”. I won’t be coming back to this location or any Tropical Smoothie Cafe in the DMV

Customer service is non-existent. Was not acknowledged with a simple “hello, how can i help you”. It was like i was talking to a brick wall. I loveee tropical smoothie, but i will never step foot in this location again.

Staff is extremely slow and rude. They don't acknowledge customers at all and ignore you when you have a question. Tropical smoothie needs to look into people being hired in this area. The grown man with the nose ring needs proper training or should be fired immediately.

Wish the good vibes & goodwill owner, David, all the best in this new location. Tropical is the best smoothie place. Island Green (drink yr veggies) and Bahama Mamas (jolly rancher in a cup) are tried and true but there’s something for all smoothie taste buds and dietary needs. Can also ask for reduced sugar.

Stephanie is the best managee and very professional and truly cares about her customers. A wonderful manager hands down!!

I came in the morning of 7/4 and the atmosphere was just not inviting. Maybe it was too early idk. The manager was wearing a hat that said “the boss” but she wasn’t really leading by example; she didn’t greet me when I came in but whatever. I was working with a new hire she was sweet but super new and no one really was helping her. I asked of I could purchase a kid size cup of the smoothie I was ordering (because I always see them throwing the leftover away and I offered to pay for it) the manager who hadn’t spoken to me the entire time chimed in and said “no” I was like? I’m sorry I’m offering to pay for it? She then double down and was very short with me. “Sir we only sale one size” now I’m not sure about the policy and I don’t care. My problem was the way she spoke to me like I wasn’t a paying customer and like I was bothering her for asking to purchase something that they were throwing away? I know this is a newer location but maybe this manager needs some sensitivity training. Hope she’s having a better day. Tropical smoothie is one of my favorites and this experience has me thinking 2x on returning.
