We were warmly welcomed into this bright and clean restaurant yesterday morning. The place is nicely decorated and feels high-end, but casual and relaxing at the same time. We chose to sit outside, since we brought our dog, Chip. The staff was very accommodating and brought us a small bowl with water to make sure he was happy. When it comes to our meal, we both ordered the same thing, breakfast tacos. We both chose bacon and egg for the first one and chorizo and egg for the second. They both came with a side of fresh fruit. The plates came out surprisingly quick, were fresh & hot, and delicious. The tacos come with a green sauce on the side that had good flavor, and not too much spice. Having such a great first experience, we will return here again.

I was so excited to try this place every time I drove pass by it. So excited that our neighborhood has a new cool place to try (for a vegetarian) But I was utterly disappointed. To be honest I am not sure how it got all these 5 stars? You guys need to try real food! The dish I tried was looking colorful, but the greens on it were soggy, the base corn tortilla was thick and chewy, the topping with various veggies lacked flavor and character. My husband who eats meat, felt was chewy and flavorless. The plantain chips were very greasy and the pesto with it just tasted oil. Cocktails were again were mostly tasting water, lacking alcohol and Ofcourse flavor (seems to be the theme of this review) Also for what it’s worth, it was so pricey.. for watered down drinks and mediocre food. I am really sad as it’s a great location and could have been great ambience with good food.! One word disappointing.!

This place is a hit or miss. Usually a miss, with both food and cocktails. Staff is pleasant. This past time I officially decided I no longer want to gamble on what kind of experience I will receive. I ordered a breakfast biscuit, which is cheese, choice of meat, and an over easy egg on a biscuit. It looked microwaved, the cheese had a thin layer of skin. The biscuit was undercooked, a little doughy, and fell apart after lifting it 2 times. The egg was WAY overcooked. I ended up eating it like a salad, with a fork and all the biscuit remains spread on the plate. I also ordered an old fashioned, which I overheard the staff discuss, and the person who was making my drink decided they would "figure it out". Not exactly the type of conversation I want to hear when you are making a drink for me. They ended up calling someone to ask how to make it, and it came out correct. But the fact that I was scared to try it made it super unpleasant. My husband ordered the enchiladas, which (flavor wise) was decent. The issue was that there was so much sauce to where after a minute or so, the rice and beans were too soggy or watery to enjoy. I would still like to say the staff was friendly.

Modern Latin restaurant with in/outdoor seating serving light bites and typical entrees. They have breakfast all day as well. Their variety of cocktails have a creative take on Latin America. The place also doubles as a coffee shop; Guava de Olla is recommended.

I was hungry and heading home to eat a sad meal of leftover lasagna from last week, when I decided I deserved better and stopped at Tropicales. The ambience is fantastic inside. I had a delicious gin cocktail (Jade Palace) and the taquitos. Both were superb. The service was fast, friendly, and professional. I enjoyed myself here.

Such a disappointment. The location is great. Service was great. Presentation was excellent. Unfortunately the food was extremely bland. Absolutely no flavour and my soup was served cold. Definitely do not recommend! As least not for the Mexican offerings.

A lovely tropical getaway. This is a wonderful space for Latin food (the cubano sandwich is fantastic), a coffee break, or drinks during happy hour and beyond. It’s a cozy shop with beautiful art and picture perfect space with a colorful accent wall. Love stopping by this shop.

Obsessed with their avocado toast. It's so different from all the others and packed with flavors. It's a must! I've been getting it every single time that I don't try anything else. The coffee was also good. Can't wait to go back! Parking is tight but I parked in the neighborhood and it was fine.
