The 25 Best Things to Eat At Disneyland, Ranked

"Location: Troubadour Tavern, Fantasyland, Disneyland  It’s not a matter of if, but when, you hit your physical and emotional breaking point at Disneyland—which is why having a predetermined safe space is crucial. Our go-to spot is the Fantasyland Theater. This giant amphitheater is somewhat hidden from the main flow of traffic with plenty of tables, lots of shade, and food from the underrated Troubadour Tavern. We like a lot of things on the Lion King-themed, East African-inspired menu here (the berebere popcorn is our favorite popcorn in the park), but the standouts are the potato sambusas (otherwise known as samosas)—warm, flaky pastry encasing a mixture of curry-spiced potatoes and vegetables. They also come with a sweet mango-ginger chutney for dipping.  *Available for mobile pre-order" - brant cox

I'm not sure if it's me, but I feel like it's kinda hidden. We happened to walk by here during Sweethearts Nite. It was right next to the Royal Ball that was happening. It wasn't too busy here. We were a little hungry and decided to get a snack here. We tried the Fireside Mac & Cheese bites. It looks plain but packs a lot of flavor. I wish it came with a dipping sauce. I wanted to try the ube popcorn mix, but the box was a little big, and I didn't feel like walking around with it. The variety of potatoes they had looked interesting, but I felt it might be a little too heavy. Overall, it was a good experience. Can't wait to check out what they have next time.

Google
As someone who is normally into fitness but has a weakness for sweets. I looked at every food option that was offered and got this chicken coconut curry sweet potato. It did not disappoint. For food like this to come from a theme park. How can you ask for more. I really liked the cookies too.

Sasha Lubkin

Google
The chermoula chicken and the sambusas were really good. Chermoula had a little heat but not truly spicy. Sambusas came with a sweet chutney dipping sauce. This was worth a walk out of our way to have some more interesting options than the usual fare in fantasy land or toon town.

Ben

Google
Sambusa: Get! A very potent pastry with feisty flavors all around. It's nice and fluffy yet cripsy. It's sweet, spicy, and savory. Just an overall delight to snack on and for 11 dollars it's not gonna break the bank for 2 small pastries and the dipping sauce. Just remember to mobile order :)

Google
The offer at this place is not the biggest and I would stop by here for a snack meal or when you are not that hungry. Or a coffee could work, as it was in my case.

Google
The potatoes are the perfect size to share as a snack. My only complaint is that the potato was kind of cold. The toppings are very good, however

Google
Food was cold, taste like a convienance store type of food what a waste of money I wish I could get a refund. The teller was also not very polite she took our order and left to lunch we were waiting and waiting until I ask a question about our order to someone else who was polite and apologized 6-1-24 @2pm-ish. 1st day of purchasing season pass not happy about this.

The best food in the Park: turkey leg, sausages, loaded baked potato.

Yelp
While waiting for the Pixar Pals Playtime Party show at the Fantasyland Theater at Disneyland, my family and I decided to grab a quick snack at the Troubadour Tavern. The Troubadour Tavern is located between ToonTown and It's a Small World Ride. It's right next to the Fantasyland Theater. This is a quick service food stand. It does accept the Disney Magic Key Holder Discounts, Disney Vacation Club, and the Disney Visa card member perks! There are some really good quick service items here. This is probably one of the best options in Disneyland. It has some unique drinks and small bites to eat. Some of those include the following BBQ Burnt Ends Potato Chicken Al Pastor Potato Strawberries & Crème Lemonade Chocolate-Butterscotch Cold Brew Ube Popcorn Mix Chicken Pot Pie Baked Potato and so much more! I ended up getting the Fireside Mac & Cheese Bites Plain. It typically comes with the Four Chile rub, but I did ask for a custom order on the Mac n Cheese bites! It was delicious! You could taste the fried gouda and the macaroni in each bite! It was so good and it was a perfect snack to have while waiting for the show to start at the Fantasyland Theater. If you're in the area, Troubadour Tavern is a must try at Disneyland!

Yelp
This is one of those vendors that you should always check when at Disney. It's a bit of a treck since it's all the way by the Fantasy Theater in front of Toontown but you can always look at the menu through the app. They're constantly having new and delicious food and snacks here and it has never disappointed! We got some good curry samosa a few years ago that was super delicious and the on our recent visit, we went and got their Ube Popcorn Mix! If you're okay with boxed popcorn, you'll really enjoy this despite the popcorn being a little stale. It's mixed with freeze dried skittles, M&M's, and pretzels with Ube seasoned popcorn. Extremely delicious and dangerous (it turns your whole mouth purple lol). The hours of this place is weird though. Sometimes we get there and it's closed, other times it's open but randomly? Idk. I guess it's not like a popular vendor so they have odd hours. Regardless, must visit! IG: @ammysalamii

Yelp
We stopped by on a cold day. My husband ordered the BBQ Burnt Ends Potato and my eldest and I both ordered The Troubadour Baked Potato. Baby shared. Our family of 4 thought this popular lunch option was decent and very filling. Especially warming on a rainy day! If you love loaded potatoes, than Troubadour Tavern in Fantasyland at Disneyland Park is for you! I'd return to try more of their menu options! Very sweet and helpful staff members! Not to mention there is seating available nearby! A solid 4 stars from me! SYOY! :-) *Song Credit: Views by @iksonmusic

Yelp
I love baked potatoes. This visit, there was no musical or shows at the theater so there was seating in the front of the theater, tables and benches. Their potatoes are not consistent. Sometimes you get the best potato ever, so soft with the perfect amount of butter, sour cream, cheese & chives. I'm not a fan of their bacon bits. Or, they have a potato with burnt ends and a pickle for those that like something more. Occasionally, the potato just isn't cooked enough. They should be more consistent. Some huge potatoes are perfect and some almost huge potatoes are not. But when it's cooked just right with lots of toppings, it's perfect.

Yelp
Quick service food located in Fantasyland inside Disneyland. There is no inside restaurant. All outdoor seating. I've heard great things about their baked potatoes which I'll definitely have to try next time. This time I tried the Adventure is Out There! Cold Brew. The chocolate cold brew itself was okay but the butterscotch topping made it better. The butterscotch flavor was strong and very sweet.

Yelp
The Troubadour Tavern is an excellent quick-service spot for tasty snacks and drinks. It's located next to the Fantasyland Theater, just past the It's a Small World ride. The menu offers seasonal and regular food, drinks, sippers, desserts, and more. Check the Disneyland app for the current menu. The Pixar Fest was going on during my recent visit, and I tried the Una Papa Loca! baked potato, inspired by the movie Coco. I enjoyed this flavorful snack with Chicken Al Pastor and other well-balanced ingredients. I love the creatively loaded baked potato items and look forward to new releases. Mobile ordering and discounts for Magic Key pass holders. The area was under construction, and a show was going on when I last visited, so it sometimes felt crowded due to the foot traffic. A few tables with shade are available next to TT.

Yelp
Tried the NEW Firetown Mac & Cheese bites. (Fried Gouda Mac & Cheese tossed in a four chile rub) For $11.49, before the MK discount, you get 8 "bites" of mac and cheese. I was a little disappointed they were NOT crispy NOR spicy (they honestly tasted like they were microwaved) but the flavor was great! You also have the option for a dipping sauce for purchase but I don't think it needed anything other than actually frying them lol This location closes earlier than other eateries in the park so be sure to check their hours. We noticed mobile ordering was not available around 545pm but they did allow purchases in person till 6pm when they closed today.

Yelp
We went during our Disney trip this weekend. They are snacks, but pretty filling! I ordered the Al pastor chicken baked potato and my husband ordered the Burnt ends (bbq) baked potato. We also ordered the ube popcorn/candy mix. Everything was yummy. With the popcorn, it will stain your fingers and lips purple...haha

Yelp
On the rise!! I've had my eye on Troubadour Tavern and feel like they been recently amping up the menu! They've been adding more exciting menu items and it's really helped restore some excitement to Troubador Tavern This time around I tried the Adventure is Out There Cold Brew. It was yummy! Not my favorite cold brew but a great contender. It actually wasn't too sweet and the bitter coffee flavor came through nicely. Really liked the chocolate flavor too. I enjoyed it! While having my coffee, I had a seat at the fantasyland theatre and had a wonderful time. It was a great resting spot to people watch and also have mini freak outs whenever fun Pixar characters came out (it is currently Pixar fest). This place is a good one!
google avatar

Becky F.

Yelp
The Adventure is out there Cold Brew was very good. The butterscotch flavor was delicious, great amount of sweetness. The flavors of Una papa loca are there is just the execution and amount that are a bit disappointing. The potato was pretty over cooked - I know I'm a weirdo who likes to eat the skin too but it was overdone. The toppings tasted good but there just wasn't a lot of it. There was barely any avocado salsa, onions, or cilantro which are my favorite parts of taco toppings so they were missed on the potato. The chicken al pastor had great flavor though. The staff as always were very friendly. There are a good amount of tables located outside the Troubadour so that was really nice.

Yelp
This quick service restaurant is located in Disneyland near the entrance to toontown. They have a selection of snacks, drinks and baked potatoes. We loved the bbq round up potato so much we got it twice during our trip! Getting ranch to have with it is a must!! Seating with a table is extremely limited. The theater is right there so plenty of benches just very difficult getting a table to sit at. If you are able I would recommend ordering ahead in the app as the line can get long during the peak meal times. When we did wait in line it probably took about 15-20 mins to get our food.
google avatar

Christine A.

Yelp
I will forever like this place for a snack because of their baked potato options. Currently there are no shows taking place at the theater next to it and currently there's an ube popcorn mix that I wasn't previously aware of till I was reviewing their menu in the app. It's only the dusting that is ube flavored but to my surprise, it was quite tasty! I think it's the tang that I like but usually there is no tang in ube flavored pastries and such. A friend warned me that it will stain and I was thinking, "Ok, just don't get it on your clothing" but I discovered that she meant it will turn your lips and mouth purple. In that mix, comes freeze dried Skittles. I've never been one to pay the prices places charge for freeze dried candy so I was happy to finally try some. I was hooked, fishing out those candy pieces. I savored this popcorn mix for days (even if the popcorn did get stale) and plan to get it again. One thing I dislike about this tavern is that it closes at 6pm and I'm rarely there before then.

Yelp
This is one of my absolute favorite places to eat in all of Disney! These African inspired dishes were so yummy! The samosas are filled with potatoes & veggies and a super yummy dipping sauce. The stew was great as well, and was the favorite of my group.
google avatar

Diele K.

Yelp
Situated next to the Fantasyland Theatre is Troubadour Tavern. There is limited seating and is outside, so be warned if you are visiting in the summer like me as it made it hard to enjoy a hot potato. Thankfully this location offers mobile order so I was able to stay in the shade until my order was ready. As for the food, the baked potato was what you would expect and quite tasty. My biggest gripe is eating it in a hot summer day. I also wish they offered more vegetarian ways to have it. One side of my family is from England, and I do love jacket potatoes with all kinds of toppings. I'll definitely keep an eye on the menu to try if new seasonal offerings change.

Yelp
Great find! So glad I could snag my lunch here! Do you love tasty food? This is your spot. I got the Sambusa and scored. What a delicious meal. They are two large pastry pockets filled with veg. This is also a great spot for vegetarians. The mango chutney was a good flavor combo. I think it mentions curries but this js not at all spicy like some people might surmise. I used the mobile order app and had it lickety split from the food cart.

Yelp
I came to Troubadour Tavern for one thing and one thing only... the Celebration Potato. I am a huge Thanksgiving meal fan (I mean, what foodie isn't?) and the idea of getting a potato with all the fixings just sounded delightful. It's very easy to miss this little snack bar, but it's located inside the Fantasyland Theatre space. It's a quick service stop. I went in December around lunch time and the seating is very limited. It would be nice if eventually they add more seats. Okay... now to the potato. It was very good! For around $11 you get a huge potato filled with smoked turkey, gravy, whipped cream cheese, stuffing, cranberry sauce and fried onions. Definitely filling! As far as holiday offerings go... I do prefer the Thanks Mas sandwich at Jolly Holiday Bakery but that wasn't offered the full holiday period this year. Overall, a solid spot for a snack. And since I was there anyways I checked out the "Tale of the Lion King" show which was quite good. I recommend for a quick bite and a show!

Yelp
The limited time fried chicken bowl is really good! Crispy, juicy, easy to chew through, spicy and seasoned well with a honey sweetness coating. Mac n cheese isnt your regular Disney mac n cheese. This is real good restaurant quality stuff. Cornbread was moist and sweet. Only thing I didn't like was the collard greens, it was smelly. Its only here for a limited time but give it a try. It is dark meat. I do hope they bring back the broccoli cheese baked potato they used to have, that was the best. You can see a video review of this on my YouTube Disneyworld Vacationer
google avatar

Neen M.

Yelp
Definitely one of my favorites for more of a 'meal' experience. I'm not much of a hamburger, chicken tenders person at Disneyland but I appreciate Troubadour Tavern for their different options and nice outdoor and open experience. Great quick service spot. There aren't too many tables but if no shows going on at theater you are welcome to eat on benches.

Yelp
Love this hidden gem of a eatery nestled in front of the Toontown Disneyland Railroad station. Provides a quiet place to eat, out of the way from main thoroughfares, so you can sit and relax in some shade. They just have 2 entrees, but I am talking about the stuffed baked potato. Thank you to Conductor Steve (big guy) using subliminal hints while I was riding the railroad, he hinted the baked potato. Only one in either park. The CMs are very kind, polite and just plain NICE. Highly recommend if you like baked potatoes. Happy Eating and Fight On!
google avatar

Yelp
This is truly a hidden gem with some really GREAT food Items with virtually No Line! If you want something quick and outside of the norm, Troubadour Tavern is the place to go. I was very satisfied with the items I ordered. Had the samosas (can't remember what they called it here) and rice with chicken curry. The flavors were robust and it really hit the spot. I hope this place expanded their menu or location because I absolutely loved it.
google avatar

Corby O.

Yelp
I will admit, I didn't even know this place existed despite my wife and I's numerous trips to Disneyland. I found it while searching the new food available for Pixar Fest and the Firetown Mac and Cheese bites sounded too good too miss. Did a little searching to find the place but I got there and they were also offering an "Up" inspired cold brew so I had to try that. Very friendly staff and it's quick service so I got my food fast. The mac and cheese bites were my favorite thing I ate during this trip and the cold brew was delicious as well. I know the food changes but I'll definitely drop by again next visit and see what's on the menu it seems like a great spot for a quick snack.

Yelp
Sambusa: Get! A very potent pastry with feisty flavors all around. It's nice and fluffy yet cripsy. It's sweet, spicy, and savory. Just an overall delight to snack on and for 11 dollars it's not gonna break the bank for 2 small pastries and the dipping sauce. I would put this sambusa as one of the top things to try at Disneyland. It's quick, portable, casual, and the best part.... very tasty. It's a little bit different than your usual carnival/fair foods as it does get a tiny bit spicy but that's a good thing! Remember to mobile order too ofc :)
google avatar

Ann T.

Yelp
I guess I had a terrible experience with the snack foods here before, but I'm happy they revamped the menu or maybe I just was there during a limited menu time. Mobile order is applicable here and there's limited seating nearby, but I guess most people take their food out to the theater area to watch a show or concert. VERY UNIQUE food. They had a limited menu for Southern food and some African food too. I definitely had to try. We got the: 1) Potato Sambusa: -This comes with 2 pieces and it's kind of like a samosa. -It's a flaky pastry filled with curry spiced potatoes and mixed veggies and comes with a side of sweet mango chutney for dipping. -Perfect pastry texture and the filling was nicely spiced. Fluffy moist potatoes with some peas and carrots inside and the contrast with the savory spices with the sweet mango chutney is delicious! 2) Berbere Spiced Popcorn: -MUST GET! -It's not in a small paper popcorn bucket like at the other popcorn carts or locations. -You get a large rectangular, pretty cute, paper box with all the popcorn inside and it's A LOT of popcorn. To the point where we couldn't finish it despite how good it was and had enough to take back home with us afterwards. -The box does get a bit cumbersome so placing it in a large purse or backpack is probably the play. -Nice warm, fresh popcorn with the curry flavor spices makes it to be a unique and addicting snack to munch on! -Highly recommend! There's definitely much more on the menu that I want to try so the next time at the parks, I'm going to mobile order more for sure!

Yelp
We were pleasantly surprised by Troubadour! Their flavors were authentic and the quality up there (relative to Disneyland). Did not taste like your generic theme park food. At 11am on a Sunday in June, I had my choice of times for pickup. * Serengeti Stew ($10.49) - 4 stars. Nice zest to the tomato sauce. Chicken seemed to be all dark meat, tasted great with the sauce. Rice a tad dry but again worked well mixed with the sauce. I wished I'd ordered more! * Asante Sana Sambusa ($10.99) - 4 stars. Nice flaky crust. Filling a tad dry, but all good once you use the sauce.
google avatar

Vina R.

Yelp
I wasn't ready for people lining up before they opened to get food! In particular the popcorn. I guess the popcorn is flavored and not like the rest of the popcorn through the parks. I was going for the turkey potato (probably not available now as the seasonal menu has changed) and it did not disappoint. Luckily for me that the actual potato wasn't baked with butter as I am lactose intolerant. They were able to do the potato without the dairy items. It still tastes good! The wait for a custom order is longer than if you don't adjust, but it's worth it. Was able to order, eat and finish just in time to watch the Lion King show lol.
google avatar

Wina G.

Yelp
I've always come for the baked potato but now they have items related to the Tales of the Lion King. I tried the potato sambusa and the salted plantain chips. The sambusa wasn't bad, nice flavor with a tiny bit of a kick from the curry. You get 2 small sambusa- but hey this is Disneyland and everyone is overpriced! Really liked the plantain chips. I also tried the gummy worm drink with tea, mango, tamarind, orange and pineapple juice. Cute touch with the gummy worms-an homage to Pumba. But mostly ice, not enough drink. It's located next to the Fantasyland theater and I highly recommend mobile ordering.

Yelp
Disney foodies, this is your one stop shop for those baked potato cravings while you're in the park. I stopped by for my first one recently and it was a nice change up from the usual park snacks in Disneyland. I tried the Loaded Baked Potato which had bacon, cheese, butter, chives, and sour cream (which I opted out of). The potato was freshly cooked, though a little underdone for my liking. All toppings noted were on the potato, but I wouldn't describe it as "loaded." Lots of plain, undercooked potato and not enough cheese to get around. *sad face, especially with the price tag attached.* Our visit to the Troubadour Tavern was on a Friday around lunch, so they were a little busy. I ordered through the mobile order system on the Disneyland app and had trouble finding a time that wasn't over an hour ahead. That usually is a sign a place is slammed. Lots of people love the potatoes here, so I'll attribute the underwhelming experience due to the possibility of the busy lunch rush. When I went to claim my mobile order, there were a ton of people waiting around from both the standby order line and mobile order side. The Cast Members were doing their best to fill orders in a timely manner, but the product definitely suffered as a result. I would give them another try in the future as I know people usually have a good experience here. The Troubadour Tavern is located at the very end of Fantasyland up by It's a Small World and in front of the Fantasyland Theater. Aside from their infamous Loaded Baked Potato, they are currently offering fare themed to their showing of the Lion King which includes Chermoula Chicken and Rice, a Potato Sambusa, a Chermoula Chicken Baked Potato, and plantains. They are also the carriers of the beloved Simba popcorn bucket. As noted, they have the option to order through the Disneyland app in the mobile order system or through a traditional standby line. At the time of my visit, Magic Key Discounts applied. This is a quick service option with very limited seating in the immediate radius of the ordering area. It is a good option for those eating on the go or planning to stay and watch the show at Fantasyland Theater. NOTE: You must have a park ticket and applicable park reservation to grab a bite from Troubadour Tavern.

Yelp
I was in need of some carbs with all the walking we had been doing and decided to get a baked potato. I omitted the bacon (I don't eat meat) and the sour cream. J was expecting a bigger potato but overall I really liked it! Perfect when you need something quick and still want to try other items in the park. The bonus was we ate while The Lion King show was performing. A delicious and great experience!
google avatar

Yelp
We've always just gone here when we would watch magical map back in the day , cause it's more snack items and not always open. I've always wanted to try the baked potatoes here but haven't gotten around to it yet. When the kids and I just went to Disneyland 1/20/23 ,we finally go to see the tale of the lion king and decided to get a treat while watching the show. You can mobile order to make things easier or just wait in line . We decided to get the hakuna matata sweets $8.99, which was a good value cause you get three different kinds of cookies .. I mean for Disney standards . But really $9 bucks and we got a sweet treat to share while watching a great show and get a much needed rest. One cookie was a macaroon, one was like a chocolate chip and the other was a type of tropical thumbprint cookie but all had a fun chocolate design on them.
google avatar

Trina D.

Yelp
I had never been to Troubadour Tavern but I saw that they had a loaded baked potato on their menu via the Disneyland app. It took me a while to realize that the tavern is just by the Lion King show, just past It's a Small World. When I decided to mobile order, I saw they had a coconut chicken curry sweet potato too and decided to try that. This was definitely a winner. I'll definitely try to get the loaded baked potato next time. I like that Disney is offering more food variety these days. It's nice to have snack options when you're not hungry for a full entree but you don't want just a pretzel. I also like that they offer a sweet potato vs. a regular potato too.

Adrian C.

Yelp
Baked potatoes were excellent. Service was good. Ambiance is good. I would recommend the baked potatoes.
google avatar

Evelyn S.

Yelp
This review is for the Savannah Sweet Potato Cold Brew. I love me a smooth cold brew, and I love the taste of sweet potatoes, but let me just say, this was total yuck. :( Don't waste your money, instead head to Galaxy's Edge and order the Black Caff from Docking Bay 7.
google avatar

Betty V.

Yelp
I didn't think the somosas would be good but it was perfectly fried and good flavors. I found the spice level mild but I eat serranos regularly. The tea was very good and I suggest getting it.
google avatar

Ginger L.

Yelp
I was finally able to try the loaded baked potato on Saturday!!!!! I was so ecstatic! It was delicious and big enough that I shared with my mom :). I highly recommend and they are only open on the weekends
google avatar

Sandy C.

Yelp
Ordered the loaded potato, not at all what I expected! I wished I took a picture, but you'll have to trust me on this one! The potato was warm, not hot and the cheese wasn't melted at all, the bacon was cold and kind of gross. Looked like it came right out of the refrigerator and thrown on top. The butter wasn't even melted, which is gross when there's a lump of cold butter, sour cream and cold shredded cheese and cold, soggy bacon. For the price, I expected a little more effort. Not the hot loaded baked potato I had my sights set on!
google avatar

Ann N.

Yelp
Prideland potato is bascially a loaded potato. Best snack at disneyland imo. Located near its a small world in a tucked away corner. A must try for savory snacks.

Yelp
Troubadour Tavern is a food stand located next to Mickey and the Magical Map at Disneyland. They serve Bratwurst sausages, stuffed baked potatoes, pretzel bites with cheese sauce, and cinnamon apple batons. There are two kinds of stuffed baked potatoes here which are bacon & sour cream and broccoli & cheese. Me: *goes up to counter* Me: Hi I'd like a baked potato-- Cashier: Sorry we don't have any mo-- *another cashier walks behind her* Cashier walking by: There's 11 left Cashier: okay nevermind I would've not been happy if it was sold out. Anyway I've been here three times. The first time I went it was closed. The second and third time I've been here I've ordered their stuffed baked potatoes with bacon & sour cream. I highly recommend them. Very good quality potatoes. They really pack it up with the bacon. My only issue is that they don't put enough sour cream. When I asked if I could have extra, they said it would be around $2. Uh no thanks. They seem to be only open during Fridays and Saturdays when Mickey and the Magical Map is showing. I love their stuffed baked potatoes! Could use a bit more sour cream but otherwise they're very good! Recommend to go here as a place to go to when you want a snack but not for a full meal.
google avatar

Tiffany D.

Yelp
This place is somewhat of a hidden gem, even some cast members aren't familiar with this place which is odd. It's located right outside of the Fantasyland Theater and they have odd hours as they are only open when Mickey and the Magical Map is showing. If the show is not showing during the week then most likely Troubadour Tavern will be closed. I stumbled across this place as I was looking for a snack and heard somewhere in the park served baked potatoes and bam it led me here. They have the best baked potatoes ever and they have it perfected. You know how sometimes you go to places and maybe the baked potato is under cooked or overcooked well that does not happen here. They have two varieties: Bacon & Sour Cream Stuffed Baked Potato and Broccoli & Cheese Stuffed Baked Potato. The Bacon and Sour Cream version is my favorite, it's topped with butter, sour cream, cheese and bacon (not bacon bits, real bacon). The potato is huge and will definitely fill you up, I try to come here when I can. They also have other items such as pretzel bites, Bratwurst Sausage, various frozen treats as well as beverages. There is however one sweet treat that is worth trying and it's the Cinnamon-Apple Baton, it's a flakey pastry that is filled with apples and cinnamon and topped with sugar. This item is good but it's lacking the apple flavor as I didn't taste much apple but it's good nonetheless. The Enchanted Cherry-Apple Lemonade (frozen drink) is a tasty drink to get when it's hot out or you're looking for something to quench your thirst. It's one of my favorite frozen drinks in the park and they garnish it with a lemon zest baked apple chip (fancy!). Definitely one of my favorite snack stops and hidden gems in the park and I highly recommend checking them out, it's a nice change from the typical corn dogs and churros in the park.

Yelp
The loaded baked potato is fantastic! Served steaming hot with lots of toppings. I will get this again and again. The only part that is hard is if you eat here when it's dark out because the seating area is super dark. People were having to use the flashlights on their phones to see their food. I took one star away because of that.

Yelp
After months of wanting to try the baked potato and failing to catch the shop during operating hours, my friends and I finally tracked down their operating schedule and planned out our day in advance. We figured out that they're primarily open when Mickey and the Magical Map is playing so we made sure to visit during the afternoon. Unfortunately, the baked potato failed to live up to the hype. The potato wasn't as soft as I would have liked and there was an overabundance of sour cream. The potato wasn't hot enough to melt the cheese either. Although I ordered the bacon and sour cream potato, I skipped the bacon since I don't eat pork. Even if I did, I don't think it could have saved the potato. Disneyland has so many food options that I'll be skipping this place in the future but I'm glad that I was able to try the potato at least so I don't have to wonder anymore.

Yelp
The first thing you should know about this Troubadour Tavern is it is only open when "Mickey and the Magical Lamp" is playing at the Fantasyland Theater (usually Friday and Saturday only). My first visit was back in October and even though the Disneyland Application said the stand opened at 11:00am, we waited to almost 11:30am ( https://www.yelp.com/biz_photos/troubadour-tavern-anaheim-2?select=k0ZZlrH3GjRfhc6UuKdA8A ) to no avail, left ticked off and ended up eating at Rancho Del Zocalo. Rohlinism: If a business can't bother opening at the posted times, don't bother posting times at all. If I hadn't seen the posted time on the application, I would have probably just left without wasting 20 plus minutes of my time and definitely wouldn't have left the shack angry. It was another two months before we visited this stand again. The opening time on the Disneyland Application had changed to 11:30am and I believe we arrived around noon time to find the location ( https://www.yelp.com/biz_photos/troubadour-tavern-anaheim-2?select=4eW7S3i8oep0p93pRPT3_Q ) open for business. Before you order, if you not planning on eating your food on the go, grab one of the few tables ( https://www.yelp.com/biz_photos/troubadour-tavern-anaheim-2?select=wnAYmmEJbv6Arn5rYpPUWQ ) nearby before checking out the menu and ordering. The menu is limited to these items ( https://www.yelp.com/biz_photos/troubadour-tavern-anaheim-2?select=jDjuHgoikx_VEYqcAR1Nsg ), plus some seasonal specials. We were able to beat the rush on this shack and Laina grabbed a table while I ordered our food. I better half selected the Loaded Baked Potato ( https://www.yelp.com/biz_photos/troubadour-tavern-anaheim-2?select=zoy8iGG1CuRsnHIWiksmkA ) and I opted for the Bratwurst Sausage ( https://www.yelp.com/biz_photos/troubadour-tavern-anaheim-2?select=ZGjAa6V6oHyI4EEy1uGJ9g ) and we added an order of the Pretzel Bites to split. I decided to slurp on the Enchanted Cherry Apple Lemonade ( https://www.yelp.com/biz_photos/troubadour-tavern-anaheim-2?select=eCnsZqGOrBLZVef0ouQLkg ) and my lovely wife just asked for a cup of water. I was actually sort of surprised when I realized the baked potatoes are made to order, but the rest of the food was handed to me immediately. Laina grabbed napkins, utensils and condiments from their location on the side of the shack. While waiting for the tater, we dug into the pretzel bites and bratwurst. I opted to put the Gulden's Mustard on the bratwurst preferring brown mustard to yellow mustard when it comes to bratwurst. The bun was soft and the bratwurst had a mild seasoning and slight snap from the skin. The pretzel bites were better than the pretzels from the carts in the park and I believe the cheese sauce had jalapeno added to it. As far as frozen drinks go, I loved the Boysen Apple Freeze, but I have to admit the Enchanted Cherry Apple Lemonade has broken the spell the Boysen Apple Freeze had cast on me. The tart cherry is perfectly balanced with the red apple and the baked apple slice is an awesome edible garnish. The flavor stayed with the drink until it was finished so I wasn't stuck with a bunch of ice water at the bottom of the glass. The Baked Potato took about 5 to 10 minutes to come out and my better half really enjoyed it. There was a good dollop of sour cream on top and for amusement park food Disney was generous with the rest of the toppings. The potato was properly baked and Laina even ate the potato skin which is really rare for her. The only complaint with the potato is the cheese should have been put on the potato a little earlier so it melted more, but it is a minor complaint. We have eaten worse supposedly "loaded" potatoes at restaurants. I probably would have given four stars, but I expect more from Disney when it come to accuracy when they list times on their application and waiting 20 plus minutes and leaving angry almost convinced me not to come back to this food shack. If you are passing through Fantasyland I recommend coming by here for a quick bite unless you order the baked potato, but I don't recommend waiting for this shack to open because there is no guarantee you won't be waiting for a long period of time.

Yelp
In order to avoid the fattiness that is basically all the other food in Disneyland, Kathleen W. and I decided to try Troubadour Tavern because we found that they had loaded potatoes. We got the BBQ chicken and broccoli cheese potatoes, which were both baked very nicely and filled with a respectable amount of topping. We were so hungry that we ate the skin along with the potato, and emptied our baskets. We also got the chili and lime corn on the cob, which had a really good flavor - not too strong or overpowering. Overall, it was a pretty good meal - I'd say 3.5 stars, and thank goodness it was different than the pizza, burgers, fried chicken, corn dogs, and other things that are offered at Disneyland...

Yelp
Great place to get a snack or meal depending on your appetite. The loaded baked potato is a good deal. Either get it with broccoli and cheddar or with sour cream bacon and chives and cheese. Also picked up some pretzel bites that comes with cheese. Cool spot right before toon town. The only thing is not to many tables to sit down and eat. You may have to swarm around like a vulture waiting for a table.

Yelp
BEST BAKED POTATOES, EVER! We wanted a snack and decided to get the baked potato with bacon, butter, sour cream & cheese. Best decision!! The potato was fresh & fluffy, perfectly baked, chopped bacon was heavenly & I'm not a fan of bacon, finely grated cheddar cheese, creamy sour cream and melted butter inside. It was so good I scraped the spud down to the skin. DELICIOUS. Don't share with anyone and get your own. :) it is worth every penny.

Yelp
Great place at disneyland to get a snack. I got the baked potato with bacon. It was cooked just right. Hope they keep them.

Yelp
I needed a snack and a baked potato sounded perfect. I got the cheese and bacon baked potato. It was also loaded with butter, sour cream and chives. And yes, it was real bacon and real chives. None of that fake or dried stuff here. My potato was really yummy and I enjoyed it very much. I'll definitely be getting baked potatoes here in the future. Other snacks are sold here including bratwurst and ice cream.

Yelp
Disappointed with Pluto's hot dogs at his Dog House. We decided to share a bratwurst on the fancy garlic something roll. A lot of people got the pretzel balls with cheese dip but I just wanted cheese dip for my bratwurst. I wasn't sure why I had that weird craving but I realized they also had tavern nachos. It doesn't sound or look to appetizing but I had a potato chip in the nacho cheese sauce and I was jealous I got regular cheese dip and not the zesty nacho cheese. The bratwurst, sauerkraut and deli mustard was awesome. The brat had a nice snap when you bit into it and it's pretty big too. But the no no was the bread. it's like a roll they sliced for a sandwich and you can't have a bratwurst rolling between a a roll. It needs a bun bed. It was a dense bread too. next time I'll try just a bratwurst on the tavern nachos. This is a good spot to get popcorn for the show and one of the few places you can use your AP discount for the popcorn and a bucket. This stand closes like at 6PM so keep that in mind!

Yelp
This place has good food but the worst customer service. I have waited twice now for them to open 15 minutes late. The last time my daughter bit into plastic and they did nothing. They were so rude and dont care people are waiting
