Girl YUS! First of all, I love a good brew within walking distance of my house because ya already know ya girl will travel far for coffee & needs all the exercise she can get (can’t just survive ya gotta thrive ya know?). We’ve walked here a couple times now with our dog (the loud beagle who just starts screaming at other dogs sometimes and we gotta leave the venue, sorry fam you’re v patient w/us) and every time the coffee delivers. My lattes are a flawless distraction from the fact that as a millennial most of my income (read: my fiancé’s income) is gonna go straight to $4 slices of brown sugar toast (phenom btw) and single origin pour overs. But man if I’m gonna go down am I gonna do it in style. Keep the funk alive, Trouble coffee ✌🏽✌🏽

Coffee is delicious! The toast is soft buttery pillows of goodness! I don't know why all the reviews say they're rude. I found them to be friendly + helpful. The environment was great, I'll definitely be back!!!

A random search on Google maps brought me here for coffee. I was not expecting this shop to be located in a rough looking part of town. I was continually dismayed to see so many attempts at style and originality falling short of greatness due to things such as uncleanliness, a general lack of polish or structure, and comfort. I speculate that I may be missing the point of this establishment, but I do know this place is uncomfortable, awkward, bleak, and unfinished. There is no worthwhile food to eat and my visit was met with stark neutrality at best; it occurred to me that my visit to spend money did not matter in the least to the two stoic employees on duty. However, in spite of this disenchanting experience being sold as ‘coffee with attitude’, I enjoyed the best latte I’ve ever had.

Love this place. It’s really close to my house and the staff are always friendly. I wish they had some more options on the food menu that weren’t bread. I’m not celiac, but eating too much bread really bothers my stomache. That being said, the bread menu items are delicious! Coffee is great and outdoor seating is a plus.

Love the concept and the back story, but an even bigger fan of the coffee - it's lovely. A friend recommended the cinnamon toast, and it was the soft doughy sweety goodness I needed to try and kick the jet lag today. I'm a fan, and will be back. Thank you.

Cool hipster coffee house located on the corner.of a graffitied bldg. Small with an overly white interior. Two ladies worked the counter. Excellent cup of coffee and pastry! I suppose it is called Trouble due to the rough area, maybe not for everyone but I liked it!

I'll be back for sure! The coffee and toast are delicious and decor is very minimal. The barista was also very cordial and helpful to me and all other customers. I came here for the first time today for the quiet atmosphere to finish up a project. The first 30 minutes or so were bliss. After that, someone came by who spoke very loudly and whose conversation I could hear even with very good headphones, so I left to find another place. Though that part was disruptive for my purposes, that's life (it is, after all, a public space :)) I'm really looking forward to visiting again soon. I recommend, if you're bringing a laptop or device, to bring it fully charged, as I didn't see any outlets in my brief lookaround.

Cute, local cafe, but by and large the staff does the absolute LEAST behind the counter. I go in there and often feel like I'm a nuisance to the baristas having casual conversations. It's fine. I know I'm there for the drink and not the service like I'm back in Brooklyn at a Caribbean restaurant 😯
