Warm and cozy corner spot with beautiful modern decorations and soft background music. There is plenty of seating and the place looks uncluttered, giving you a sense of amplitude. The coffee tasted premium and was very well balanced. It is obvious the baristas have plenty of experience. We sat at the counter and watched our food order be prepared with care. This place is fantastic to sit and work, a coffee date, or a solo day dreaming session.

Google
Comfortable, quiet, nice lite music & great food. Service was polite and informative. I had stopped to pick up a prescription at HMC, and thought I'd grab a bite, in the area, while my car was charging. So I went for a walk, and this place quickly caught my eye. I had the Salmon and Potatoes. Today's veggie side was fresh green beans. Everything was so fresh and so good. Now to relax with an evening decade espresso. All without leaving the establishment. Perfect.

There was a lot of servers for our weekend brunch, and yet we had bare minimum service. The food was ok. Nothing special and the flavor was bland. The fries were the best thing we ordered. I’d go back for location/convenience, but certainly not for the food.

Cool and comfortable space, loved the interior design. Great cappuccino. Good customer service. My chocolate berry muffin was ok.

Great little shop. Menu is small but tasty. The sandwiches are delicious and the coffee is always perfect. Staff is friendly and prompt.

Friendly staff. Decent coffee selection. Great atmosphere in modern chic decor. Spacious. Walking distance to trauma center. What now does one need?

Google
Beautiful bistro with incredibly friendly staff. The mimosa cake is amazing! A tragic family emergency brought us here and they let us hangout as long as we needed and treated us with respect and amazing generosity.

Exactly what I needed! I wanted a low key quiet place to review a long doc, have coffee and a healthy breakfast. Cha-ching!! Smiles from staff and other patrons to boot. Will definitely be back. I used coffee ☕️ near me to locate it just down from the Frye art museum.

Yelp
Cute gem in First hill. Nice spacious cafe. Tried the bbq pizza flatbread it was a pretty good size, almost like a mini personal pizza. The coffee is solid and the wine bar is a vibe. Great place to meet up and catch up with a friend

Yelp
Fresh prepared food with consistent quality. Cute ambiance. Pleasant staff. Lattes are quite delightful.

Yelp
The coffee is delicious and so are the cookies. I also like the English muffin with ham, egg and cheese. Nice atmosphere and friendly staff.

Yelp
It's a stone's throw from the Frye with an outdoor dining area. (That said, outside area could use a little softening up with plants, umbrellas, etc. It's a bit stark.) French-leaning small plates and entrees, all reasonably priced. I went full American with the burger & fries. Tasty with a brioche bun. Nice touch: we each received a truffle (the chocolate kind) with the bill. Bonus points: my Frye membership brought a 10% discount.

Yelp
Really like this place. Great spot for studying that is open late. Usually pretty quiet and large food selection. Has really good coffee. The sandwiches and breakfast sandwiches are delicious. A bit expensive, especially for reheated breakfast sandwich but the coffee makes it worth it.

Yelp
I've stopped in here for wine and snacks and for an early dinner. The wine selection is good but they are often out of a few options they offer. I was pleasantly surprised by the food. We had a peach and burrata salad that was so delicious and light. The burger was ok. The patty was a little bland but the jam on top made up for it. I love the look of the place and their adorable eclectic plates. I'll definitely stop by again for wine and bites to eat.

Yelp
Love this new addition to the first hill hood! This corner bistro/coffee/wine bar is located in the new senior citizen Murano apts. High ceilings, hip vibe, ample seating always it seems. The coffee seems to be a proprietary low acid coffee roast which seems tasty enough as a drip coffee. Food options are on the lighter side with soup, salads and fancy flat breads. Staff is amazing! They all seem so friendly and take great pride in the place. I like to get work done here and sort or dont want people know about my secret hang out!

Yelp
Incredibly sweet staff with yummy pastries and delicious drinks. Came here for a bathroom break and snack and was not disappointed! The place is so clean and has a cute interior design. We got cookies & scones and everything HIT. Can't wait to go back!

Yelp
MATTIE is the BOMB!!!!!! I work in the local area, and I choose to go specifically on the days I know she will be there as Trubistro is a #vibe filled with the smell of freshly baked croissants, and the display is packed with goodies. They are all deeelish (especially the croissant brittle!!!) If she see's me walking up, she starts preparing my perfect drink before I even make it to the counter. Unfortunately the place doesn't run the same when she is not present. The space feels cold, no music no goods to munch on and it feels like the barista walked in 2 mins before I did. Mattie may not be a current manger but she sure runs the place like one! So... I give 4 out of 5 stars only because this type service should be received all around regardless of who is there. *side note - I Just learned they had small bite plates and an awesome lunch, so I'll make sure to update when I try the menu out.

Yelp
Quick stop before heading into work. There were two people sitting inside spaced apart. The lady who helped me was very nice. The food items look pretty good for small plates. I just grabbed an almond milk cappuccino. Nothing special, I felt like the espresso was a little bitter but I asked for a dry one and it was delivered. I think I read they have valet parking for the place if you are worried about parking (there is none).

Yelp
This spot is very welcoming. The staff are friendly, kind and helpful. If they aren't too busy, they will bring your coffee and snacks to you instead of yelling your order across the shop like other spots. The coffee is delicious! Not bitter, not too mild, just right. The ambience is fantastic. Large windows, great lighting, and cozy textures to balance it out. I've come here several times during the day and always have a great experience. I'll be going back to try some evening bites with wine soon :)

Yelp
Such a beautiful and charming place, tall ceilings, open spaces, friendly staff, great wine and food. My new favorite place! Sean was wonderful.

Yelp
This place has great food, service, decor and most importantly both espresso and alcohol. Had the cherry tomato pesto naan flatbread, was a great snack split between two people. I think I would have felt pretty satisfied eating it on my own if I was hungrier. The space is awesome! Beautiful decor. So many seating options, inside and outside. The inside has lots of outlets if you need to get some work done, not sure about outlets outside. They mentioned they plan to have live music soon. We were frequently checked in on and our receipt came with truffles. Janice is very personable and fun to chat with. They just hired a new baker and we tried a cupcake that had buttery citrus frosting and a soft yet dense cake. Will definitely be back soon! Update: just tried the mimosa cake w/ citrus buttercream, was even better than the early grey cupcake. Definitely will try again, see my half eaten piece in the photo.

Yelp
Disappointing that I have to give 2 stars bc the servers are friendly, the interior is kinda nice in a generic coffee shop/wine bar feel, and there is nothing else decent in this area (near the hospitals and Frye Museum). I came here once and got like avo toast and a coffee drink and it was good, so I looked forward to returning. unfortunately $15 for a "Fattoush salad" described as consisteing of baby gem lettuces, pita, sliced onion, fresh mint, and an agave wine vinagraitte had none of these items! Cheap flavorless romaine with what tasted like pre-packaged -pre-crumbled feta and red pepper from Trader Joes, pita chips from a snack bag, artlessly chopped cukes and stringy overcooked squash made up this sad excuse for a salad. The dressing was from a bottle and was not a wine vinaigrette. I didnt bother complaining to the servers bc they already seemed a bit clueless on the menu and it was a complicated situation as to what was/wasnt considered "Happy Hour" food and really, they didnt prepare the item and seemed to distance themselves from the "upstairs kitchen". It was edible, thats it. It made me want to go home and make my own fatoush salad with fresh lovely ingredients that this salad lacked. Its probably fine for coffee and pastries but it couldve been so much better!

Yelp
Truly an amazing Bistro; not only is the food delicious and delectable, the staff was just as sweet. My family member is currently unable to get around much, but they provided and assisted with helping us and the people around us feel welcome and at ease. Per my usual I ordered a bit of everything from the menu to give a solid review, of all that my tastebuds have devoured, my least favorite was the stuffed avocado..mainly because it was just so @!?# good I was upset when I finished it! They have a house special tarragon sauce that has a subtle flavor and surprising twist with every small bite! Sprinkled with Paprika, there's a small--small---kick so don't be afraid of your not a hot girl like Megan, you'll be seasoned like Sza though because of the low key vibes of this modern cafe.

Yelp
I moved to Seattle about 3 months before COVID-19 shut this city down. Finding community, along with good food has been near impossible. Thankfully Janice and the incredible staff at Trübisto have not only fed and caffeinated me; they've been friendly and welcoming at a time when people seem to be shying around from each other. The burger is unreal too! And my morning coffee :)

Jennifer T.

Yelp
Amazing food and amazing service! The people here are so kind and the food is delicious. I got the fattoush salad with steak and the portion is HUGE! The salad and steak are both really tasty. The only downside is that the steak was overcooked (I asked for medium rare and it came out medium-well done) but it was still delicious so i didn't mind. Definitively try this place out if you have a chance. Not pictured: also got their mocha which was amazing. I usually don't love coffee but it was SO good.

Yelp
Very good menu, wine, and espresso. Clean store and knowledgeable manager and work staff. Wine selection is vast and their seafood risotto was legit. I recommend. Ask for janice she's the manager

Thomas M.

Yelp
This would have been a very pleasant experience if the waiter had listened when taking my order. I explicitly asked for a DECAF latte. I have a condition which makes life pretty unbearable if I consume much caffeine...let's just say within a half hour of drinking my latte I felt like absolute shit and my whole day has been ruined. Also the food is super overpriced. Worse than many spots downtown. I understand servers are overworked but please please verify someone's order if you aren't confident.

Yelp
I've been getting the avocado toast for a while as it's my go to and love it! Unfortunately, the last time my boyfriend and I went to get lunch is our last time visiting. I ordered the egg sandwich and pea soup (I don't remember what my boyfriend ordered). The service was slow from the beginning. We had to wait a while to get any water and those who ordered after us were getting their orders before ours. We still kept waiting....and waiting...until my boyfriend went inside and found that they forgot our order. I had to go back to work and he had to wait for everything. They didn't say any apology or anything. For the overpriced food and slow service it's not worth it to go anymore.

Yelp
Trubistro occupies a beautiful space with high ceilings and lots of light. The menu is small, but the food is delicious! I had the caprese flatbread with cherry tomato, basil, mozzarella, pesto and a balsamic glaze. There are lots of tables with power outlets to spread out and do work, or you can sit at the bar with a TV. I will be back!
google avatar

David L.

Yelp
If I could give this place six stars, I would. The tables are very socially distanced (perhaps 10 feet). Colby and the other servers are on point ... ask for a wine suggestion from Janice. I got two salads... based on my appetite I needed two! Best drip coffee I've had in awhile. Very artful decor. Great music. Everything is perfect. Six. Stars.

Pierce C.

Yelp
Worst cafe experience in my life. Waited half hour til find out my order has not been placed and yet the servers are so busy with empty space that they don't dare to check in what's going on. I demanded refund and would've let it go cause everyone makes mistake but trying deceive actual amount I'm entitled to get refund which is not so ethical. If you would like to waste your lunch time for waiting your food, I highly recommend to visit this place.

Erika S.

Yelp
I wanted to give feedback after the lunch I had with coworkers today. While the restaurant is beautiful and staff is very friendly, several of us were frustrated with how long it took for meals to come out. We had 6 people at our table. Three of us received our salads, while the others waited an additional HOUR for their sandwiches which consisted of premade salad. These sandwiches were fairly basic and not complicated. As healthcare workers we were also very concerned that the employee preparing the sandwiches was not wearing gloves and handling all of the ingredients by BARE HANDS! One of the sandwiches at our table had a hair in it.

Yelp
Love this place! The vibes inside are immaculate. Perfect little cafe spot to hangout with friends or to study. The coffee tastes delicious. The woman working there Anamaria was so helpful and offered excellent customer service. Definitely found my new study spot!

Yelp
Live nearby and been to this place a handful of times. Really surprised by the good street they had this last time. Definitely a cool vibes for first date of quick brunch with friends.

Yelp
Finally got to sit down and try the burger special. To be honest this is the best burger and fries I've ever had! This place should be busy and people wanting homemade food. The cheesecake is absolutely bomblicious!

Laura F.

Yelp
An oasis in the city, leading with high quality hospitality, thoughtful and delectable foods for every part of your day and beverages to match (coffees, teas and carefully selected wines). Manager Janice Yang is an extraordinary host and manager, and she and her crew brought joy to many during the hours we visited in October. A rare gem.

Aaron K.

Yelp
Overpriced and horrible service. I was there for my girlfriends birthday and was not impressed. We ordered the fried chicken and it took over 30 minutes. The place was almost empty, but our server seemed more interested in another table then ours. We asked for four plates for cake and we only got three. We reminded our server several times and never got a fourth plate. Also, wine $20 a glass. In a city where so many wonderful restaurants are struggling due to Covid this place deserves to go under.

Yelp
This place opened a month ago and was badly needed, as solstice closed down and we were out of chill coffee shops to work/study at. This place does the trick. Good low acidic coffee, plenty of seats and outlets!! The breakfast sandwich was pulled from a refrigerated package but tasted fresh non the less, wouldn't have even known. Jasmine the nice barista even came to fill my water at my table, not something that happens at your usual coffee shop. Wish it stayed open later than 8 pm but this is my new go to.
google avatar

Michelle N.

Yelp
Lovely little cafe nearby Harborview with great coffee and bites. Staff are super attentive, welcoming, and kind. The big, open space has a great ambiance and vibe. Although my colleagues have tried more than I have, some dishes seem to be quite small for the cost. Regardless, really happy to have Trubistro on First Hill! Would give a 4.5 :) but lets just call it a 5.

Yelp
This cafe is a beautiful addition to the neighborhood. The fantastic customer service and the aesthetic of the place draws me back. The drink selection is on point and it's truly a lovely place to grab a cup of coffee and enjoy your day. This is my go to place in the area and can't recommend it enough.

Jake K.

Yelp
Coffee is okay but the service is horribly slow. They are friendly but I would go to Diva across the street if you have any sort of urgency.

Nik I.

Yelp
This place was great! Just moved in across the street and stopped by on Sunday afternoon. The space is beautifully curated - very modern, cozy, clean, great music, cool decor and dishes. The woman working was very friendly and attentive. We ordered a delicious charcuterie board and salad, which she appeared to piece together by hand. It was beautiful. It was also a rare semi sunny day and the space has huge windows, so we got to appreciate the weather while eating. At the end we got coffee & espresso which were also done very well. Will definitely come back soon!

Yelp
Really good wine and apps. Castelvetrano olives were amazing. Grilled cheese... omg. Lovely atmosphere. Will be back.

Yelp
Super vibey spot! Delicious flatbreads and wine. Janice served us and she was lovely!

Jerry M.

Yelp
The coffee was okay at best. The staff however is amazing! I guess I just prefer Starbucks. Also, they only filled the cup up halfway.

Eliya M.

Yelp
~Very~ overpriced for the type of food you get. Ordered a salad to go. It was missing two of the ingredients for one and the dressing gave me a slight reaction. It came in a small appetizer sized boxed. Not worth it

Mango C.

Yelp
100% my go-to. We have an apartment nearby and I'm always at this place! The best coffee, best atmosphere, best servers, etc.; I couldn't ask for more from a quaint little coffee shop!

Alekona K.

Yelp
I really want to give this place 5 stars because the staff are lovely and they have good food, coffee, and wine--but I've been a handful of times and my coffee is always under-filled (like by over an inch from the top)... I find it really disappointing...

Daryle S.

Yelp
These guys were the only ones that were open for an early breakfast before a medical appointment. We were blown away at the freshness and quality of their ham and cheese croissants. The server was congenial, pleasant, outgoing and positive. She was literally awesome!Definitely two thumbs up. Best croissants that we've had since we were in Paris. The elderberry croissant is a culinary experience you have to add to your repertoire. Crispy on the outside, inside and generous ribbon have elderberry jam baked inside. It is absolutely delightful!

Lucy W.

Yelp
Just went to Trubistro for the first time today. It's my grandpa's new favorite place, and I see why! It's just beautiful inside, the staff were incredibly kind and accommodating (switched chicken for avocado on the fall harvest salad and oat milk in the latte - they apparently have just about every alternative milk except coconut, which is wonderful), and the food was great. My dad and grandpa got flatbread, which looked great, and my fall harvest salad was very good. The "low acidity" latte was fantastic!! Will definitely be coming back.

Aashish K.

Yelp
Good vibe and very cozy atmosphere. Really liked the staff and the americano was fresh good and had a good aroma to it
