I had the pleasure of dining at True Food Kitchen, and what made the experience even more exceptional was the outstanding service provided by our waitress, Stephanie. From the start, she was welcoming and attentive, offering insightful recommendations with a genuine honesty that made me feel confident in my choices. The food itself was absolutely delicious—clearly made with high-quality ingredients that really stood out. Each dish was perfectly prepared, and it was evident that the restaurant takes great care in sourcing their ingredients. Stephanie not only delivered top-tier service but also helped enhance the overall dining experience. Her thoughtful attention to detail and warm personality made our visit truly memorable. I highly recommend both the restaurant and Stephanie— a perfect pairing of great food and exceptional service!

I absolutely love True Food Kitchen. I'm a frequent visitor, and it’s easily one of our favorite spots for date night. The food is not only healthy but also beautifully presented, giving off an upscale, yet welcoming vibe. The menu is full of incredible options — it’s always hard to choose just one dish because everything looks so tempting, you’ll want to try at least 15! Their drink selection is just as impressive and diverse as the food menu, making each visit a fresh and exciting experience.

Google
I prioritize food when choosing a restaurant unless it's a special occasion calling for top-notch service. Hence, I will start with food. We ordered the Brussels sprouts after browsing numerous photos on Google Maps, and they were pretty good. The dish included not only Brussels sprouts but also red peppers, mushrooms, and lime. The seasoning was well thought-out, but I wished the Brussels sprouts were crispier and hotter, perhaps served on a cast-iron skillet to maintain the temperature and crispness. I would rate them 4.2. The medium-rare steak entrée was great; tender and juicy with creamy, soft mashed potatoes complementing it. The steak was slightly more cooked than medium rare, but overall, I was happy. The poke was sweeter than expected, but extra lemons helped adjust the flavor. The tuna sashimi was decent but not extraordinary. I liked the ingredient combination of edamame, cucumber, black rice (though I would prefer sticky Asian black rice), and avocado sauce. The teriyaki rice was my least favorite due to its blandness and small protein portion, but it was a healthy option. Now, here are my comments on service. For your context, we arrived at 7:30 PM on a Wednesday. The first server returned after 3 minutes, but when we requested more time, she didn't come back for 15 minutes, requiring me to find another server. This second server eventually assisted us, but the appetizer was served without dishes from yet another server, causing another delay. The second server checked on us after we were done with the appetizer, provided extra lemons and water upon request, and the main dishes arrived a bit later, simultaneously. However, the extra shrimp with the poke bowl we ordered was forgotten and had to be requested again. Overall, I think the service could be improved. Atmosphere-wise, I think it’s better to sit indoors if you want a quieter atmosphere, as there were teenage skaters right next to us causing a lot of noise pollution. They even got into a fight with one of the customers as they were outright rude and inconsiderate. They eventually left, but I think it’s better to avoid such situations by reducing the number of variables by sitting indoors.

Google
We were very impressed with the menu selections and atmosphere. We ordered the Polk bowl and Teriyaki bowl for lunch. They were delicious and will be back!

Google
Its nice to eat healthier food. The fresh atmosphere, delicious food and very friendly staff put this as a major highlight considering the quality of food, servers and establishment.

Google
This is a great place - you leave full and feeling better than when you arrived! Super nourishing and delicious. Loved the dumplings, seasonal salad, butternut squash pizza, and meatloaf. Our server was Jacob and he was awesome - he made some great reccs and was friendly.

Google
Located in the Domain, a great spot to grab a healthy bite to eat. I like their bowls, but they have pizzas and burgers too. Their chocolate chip cookie and flourless chocolate cake are also yummy if you want something sweet.

Google
I placed a pick up order and did NOT get what I ordered. I ordered the Chinese chicken salad and removed the chicken. Half of the ingredients were missing there was no almonds no quinoa no avocado no sesame seeds and no watermelon radish I basically got lettuce and dressing. For the price you pay you expect to get what you order. 0/10 the salads from Wendy’s are better than what I got.

Yelp
Great concept of a place. Came here with friends and loved the menu. Tried the teriyaki quinoa bowl with chicken and the clean margarita. Everything was so tasty and well presented. My friends and I had a blast here. There's a few choices for mocktails if you're into non alcoholic drinks. I mean even the desserts were superb. I had the chai cake with ice cream and it was so full of flavors. The service was great. Our waitress was attentive and very accommodating. I do have to come back and try new things. It's a great and big place to mingle and have good food.

Yelp
I love the health conscious standpoint that True Foods has regarding food and this is why for a long time it was my family's favorite restaurant. Our trip to True Foods today was met with a lack of service for sure. We came in and ordered pretty quickly and yet we sat there waiting on food for the majority of our time in the restaurant. We started off with hummus with pita but when the hummus came out the pita wasn't warm in the slightest, like how it usually is, so we asked for it to be re-heated. We thought this would be fairly quick but we then waited another 10 minutes for the pita to come out, in which time our food came out and sat at the table getting cold while we waited for our appetizer to be ready. While our main dishes were sitting at the table we were still waiting on our drinks to get here. We had to remind our server about the drinks and she asked us what they were again so I don't think they had ever gotten put in. We finally got all our food and it was fine but cold. Our hummus was comped which was nice. Not worth all the kerfuffle and the horrible service we had to endure. Very disappointing, actually, given we have come to True foods numerous time but the service has gone downhill tremendously. Tuna poke bowl- 7/10. Zingy flavor but too many jalapeños and cilantro. Pepperoni pizza- 7/10. Not your typical dominos pizza. Made with a sourdough crust and super crispy which is nice. Side of mac and cheese- 9/10. Amazing flavor but the price was offensive for the size. Hummus- 5/10 Horrible pita to hummus ratio. Woeful amount of pita, actually. There is always hummus left over when there is no pita left which then forces you to buy more if you want to enjoy the full dish. Peach lemonade- 10/10 very good, very sweet

Yelp
Came here for lunch and the construction outside made it loud and a little smelly but not their fault. My friend said the bathroom was gross though, that's on them. Our server was delightful though and very cognizant of food allergies. Food did take awhile to come out but I was enjoying catching up with my friend. I had the seasonal market salad and added the crispy chicken. It was delicious. 10/10 salad. Expensive though! Like $23/24. I would still come back and eat it again for a special occasion because it's tasty!

Yelp
It's always good here, today we had to wait a little bit to be attended to- but Jacob came to our rescue. Like I mentioned to Jacob, his excellent service & the delicious food more than made up for the wait. Thanks again :-)

Yelp
Absolutely in love with this fun, fresh restaurant. Keeping up with my New Year's resolution to eat more vegetables was a snap! Starters, salad, sandwich, and an entree, our group had a little from each part of the menu. Delicious across the board. Can't wait to come back.

Yelp
Went here on a work dinner with my boss. The menu was not enticing to me at all so my boss did all the ordering. We had the Mediterranean hummus (5), charred cauliflower (7), edamane dumplings (9), guacamole (4), tuna poke bowl (10), chocolate peanut butter tart (5), squash pie (4), and chai caramel cake (7). I know this seems ridiculous, but he was very into me being a helper and wanted my opinion on everything. So next to each item, I gave given my rating, out of 10. Our service here was subpar even though everyone was very friendly. Our waiter was just very bad at taking social queues of when is a good time to interrupt. All in all, i would absolutely be willing to try my local True Food Kitchen location in Florida after this experience.

Yelp
I've been coming to this restaurant for several years, and every visit has been consistently wonderful. The food is always delicious, and the restaurant is maintained. On top of that, the staff is incredibly friendly, making the dining experience even more enjoyable. One of my favorite dishes is the edamame guacamole--it's a must-try! Recently, I tried the meatloaf, and it has quickly become my new favorite entrée on the menu. There's a reason I keep coming back, and it's the perfect combination of great food, a welcoming atmosphere, and excellent service.

Yelp
Oh my goodness to the deliciousness they serve! My thai bowl was soooo good and filling and the hibiscus pear drink with was perfection. I also suggest trying their ginger something drink. It is so flavorful. They serve a pretty good portion so go empty stomach or enjoy a small second meal out of it. Ambiance is gorgeous. Well lit, beautifully decorated and open space layout.

Yelp
I LOVE True Food! My partner and I are regulars and enjoy the quality of the food, many are organic and the kitchen doesn't use seed oils that I'm aware of! Everything also comes out super flavorful and juicy from the appetizers to the meals. The staff have always been welcoming and friendly and both the domain and downtown locations are just aesthetically beautiful! We recommend their burgers, bowls, and even their seasonal harvest salad! I adore their Matcha Horchata Latte and would have one everyday if I lived closer. Can't go wrong with anything you pick off the menu. Enjoy actual "true food"

Yelp
It's a nice place, bright open area with vibrant colors. I like that the food is healthy, and there are a decent number of choices. I ordered the teriyaki quinoa bowl with the gluten free chicken, and I specified "no onions." The server entered it as an allergy. (It's a severe intolerance for me.) I took one bite of the chicken and tasted onion. I asked her to check the ingredients for the breading, and sure enough, there is onion powder in it. Additionally, the chicken was room temperature, sliced on top of the bowl. So all in all, not a great dining experience, and not one I will be repeating.

Yelp
This true food is conveniently located at the Domain which makes it great for an easy date night after shopping. The inside is nice and spacious with plenty of seating. I appreciated that the menu had all the calories listed and they also had a nice selection of nonalcoholic beverages to choose from ( I think the one i had was the blueberry 75 - so tasty and guilt free). i had the sustainable salmon and it was cooked perfectly - slightly crisp edges, savory sauce, went well with the rice. also the service was great! our server was very attentive and prompt

Yelp
Everything on the menu at True Food Kitchen is so good! I've been to this restaurant in another state and it's very consistent with excellent service. The ingredients are so fresh and full of flavor. I would highly recommend for anyone to give it a try!

Yelp
I decided to stop for a quick bite and a cocktail after shopping at the Domain. Mallory the bartender made one exquisite espresso martini! I opted for the seasonal butternut squash soup which is divine. I've been frequenting this location since it opened and sad I haven't reviewed it sooner. Everything here is healthy and delicious. Kudos True Kitchen

Yelp
At the domain and decided to eat here because they don't use seed oils while cooking. Nice atmosphere and friendly staff. Thought it was a little funny that they don't have Diet Coke (because it's not healthy), but serve plenty of unhealthy alcohol drinks (poison) ‍. Had hummus and pita to start, and it was very good. Definitely recommend, but ask for extra pita. Rest of the meal we had a grass fed burger, chicken bacon wrap, and meatloaf. Burger and meatloaf were a big hit, while wrap was considered very average. Both sandwiches had Mac and cheese as a side and that was a hit. Definitely worth a try especially if you want fresh ingredients and no seed oils!

Yelp
This is my place !!!!! I tell everyone about this restaurant The food it outstanding and no matter what you get you can tell the quality In it You really can't go wrong with anything you choose Prices it is on the pricer side but you definitely feel the difference after you eat tht it's clean Customer Service is always hit or miss for the most part it's good. Parking is near by but being its location isn't always the easiest to find

Yelp
A great way to end a Sunday. Met with warm greetings and a great introduction to the space which I always appreciate. The bar was clean and spacious with tvs which I think is a nice touch, and the tables are spaced out to create an intimate yet still engaging atmosphere on the inside. The service was great, multiple check in's and great knowledge of the menu to help us with decision making. The food - spot on. Well balanced and juicy fish, seasoned to perfection. And the Thai noodles and tofu were made with care you could taste! I'd honestly been hesitant to try this place because I didn't know if i would like it, BUT I'll for sure now be back and with friends. More than worth the try, the food is truly amazing!

Yelp
When your bestie says they want an amazing kale salad for their birthday lunch, you find yourself at True Food Kitchen! The convenient Domain location made it the perfect place to meet with ample free parking. Ordering and service was easy and quick and the menu had many yummy options, including gluten free and vegetarian options. The dining room was spacious and neat. Even though it was busy, it was not too loud. It was a great environment for having a chat with a friend. The food was delish and lived up the hype. The only reason I am going with four stars instead of 5 is that I had an issue with my food. The pot roast french dip sandwich was covered in onion but no onion was used on the menu, or I would have asked them to omit it. Overall, this was a good lunch and I would definitely go here again. My friend was thrilled by her salad, too! The macaroni and cheese was also noteworthy.

Yelp
Great location in the Heart Of The Domain. The food is fresh and lots of healthy options. Great for vegetarians or even non-vegetarians- fresh salmon, chicken, a little meat options. They have a wide selection of everything and healthy. Their drinks are fresh and service is good. The size of this location is perfect and it is typically packed during lunch. Hard to find parking right in front unless you valet, but you can go around or park in the parking garage or near Macy's.

Yelp
I battle with how to rate this. I always consider quality to portion size to cost ratio when evaluating a place... so maybe I'll talk this restaurant out differently this go round. Quality - quality of food is excellent. I can tell they use fresh ingredients. Palate wise, flavors were there. Now whether I could taste the difference that they used grass fed ice cream vs blue bell...I dunno. Maybe it's more the knowledge that the cow enjoyed grass vs being held up in a stall that might be the selling point? - Kale Caesar was good with an extra lemony profile. - Steak side was flavorful. - Creamy Tomato Soup perfect balance of tomato and cream. - Spiced Apple Crumble Cake not too sweet (which for me is a good thing). Maybe a little more crumble would be nice. Portion - I took most of my pictures with a plastic fork to give a general idea of portion size and quantity. Pretending I didn't know cost, maybe would say these are small to medium portions (leaning more on the smaller side). Cost - unfortunately I think this one is leading my rating. Everything was pretty pricey. Even being appetizers and a side of steak - each individually still pricey. And now that you know cost, you also start thinking hey wait...this portion size is so small for what it's priced at. So don't get me wrong I would for sure say flavor is good. Cost aside I would totally eat here again. If I had to pay for it... I'd have to say I pass.

Yelp
Big place, well-lit, lots of space and ample seating. But bigger doesn't always mean better. This place was random, and a last-minute decision. During our visit, they sat us almost immediately, which is always great. Our server didn't take long to come to us, but our server and probably all the servers appeared to be very busy, nonetheless friendly and professional. We ordered two drinks: a Pomelo Margarita and a Pineapple jalapeño Margarita. Both drinks were very weak, and the Pineapple margarita had no pineapple flavor at all. The Pomelo was a better drink, but yet very weak. And for the size of the glass and the weakness of the drinks, they're over-priced. And our drinks took at least 15 minutes to come out. If not 15 minutes, it felt way too long of a wait. The appetizers were awesome (cauliflower and guacamole). One of the best guacamole I've had in a while. The entrees took long to arrive. The Smoked Gouda Turkey burger was flavorful and fresh. The fingerlings were okay. The grass-fed beef Steak wasn't as tender as we thought it would be, and was just okay. But the rice and other parts of the dish were delicious, but the beef fell flat, and was not easy to slice. This place was just ok. Wasn't impressed enough to consider a second visit. But can't rule it out either.

Yelp
This was my first visit to True Food Kitchen. The restaurant is nice and airy. Our waiter was attentive until the food came out. He didn't check on us and we needed to ask another waitress for assistance. I ordered the salad and it was fine. It had a lot of dressing which I think overwhelmed everything else.

Yelp
I've been to True Food Kitchen several times, but never seemed to be in love with it because the dishes that I would get were just OK. Tonight I got the Ancient Grain Bowl recommended by my friends and WOOW. So delicious! Honestly, I don't think it needs the protein, as-is is perfect. I wasn't sure if it was the pistachio pesto, but there was a slight kick to the dish and my tastebuds were having a party with this! I wanted more. Everything was nicely cooked with the exception of some sweet potatoes, no biggie! I thought maybe it was going to be a much larger dish and I would take half of it to go, but nope! I finished it all. Highly recommend! Service is great as usual and the ambiance is aesthetic and earthy. Parking can be tricky, you may need to drive around a bit or get closer to where the retail stores are at and park at the Domain Parking Garages. I'm happy to report that I'm now a True Food Kitchen fan, and all thanks to my friends for introducing me to the Ancient Grain Bowl!

Yelp
I joined friends here for brunch for the first time today. The restaurant had a great feel and was very clean. We arrived at 11 and they weren't super busy, but filled up quickly. We waited for a bit for a hostess to greet us. Upon being seated, our waiter was great. I order the classic breakfast and substituted scrambled eggs. When my meal first came out, it had over easy eggs, which I let them know. Our waiter apologized and my correct meal arrived in about 10 minutes. While it was good, I'm not sure if it was $18 good? The group I was with covered the tab and while I enjoyed my meal, but I'm not sure if I would choose/pay to come here.

Yelp
Always a good, healthy meal at True Foods. Met some friends for a birthday lunch yesterday. We got there as they opened and were seated quickly.

Yelp
First of all, the kale salad has always been one of my favorites from this place! The restaurant in the Domain is spacious and well-kept. The service was a bit slow, we had to wait quite some time before a server greeted us and brought us water. The food was tasty though!

Yelp
Tried this place again on weekend brunch with some friends (who were trying it for the first time). I made a reset in advance (super easy) so finding a table was easy. Bougie Blanco pizza was the best of all. Great portion size. I expected it to be on sweet side but wasn't that much. Ranch was going very well with it. Vegan double cheeseburger is a good option if you are looking for large portion. Please note that side that are included in Burger price are kale and simple salad. There are some more options like umami potatoes, Mac and cheese, street corn which you can get with extra dollar or two. My friends (who eats chicken) got the chicken burger said it was very average, nothing special. Tofu scramble was good, a little bit more of tomato/tanginess side. Our starter order of sourdough street corn flatbread came really late and wasn't matching to pictures online hardly any corns but was lacking taste, I wouldn't recommend it. I have tried edamame dumplings in past and those are really good. The blueberry crumble sundae is a MUST try.

Yelp
The menu online may not be up to date because they change their menu every season. I started with the Butternut Squash Soup. The taste was fine but it was only warm when it was brought out. I like my soup HOT. Grilled chicken wrap was good had a really good sauce on it. Fingerling potatoes were less than stellar. They lacked the herbs on them. Breakfast sandwich was good the sausage had a hint of sweet in it. It was really filling as well. SW Bison pizza was really good the egg really worked with the pizza. Margherita pizza was good and fresh. The restaurant is big and very open.

Yelp
All the stuff I used to rave about is either gone or tweaked in a way that just doesn't compare to the old TFK I was used to eating at. For instance they removed some sides like the sweet potato's and replaced them with less healthy foods like Mac n Cheese that is completely tasteless. Sweet potato's are rich in potassium help with inflammation, blood sugar spikes meanwhile macaroni cheese causes inflammation blood sugar spikes and bloating . Before TFK sold out they used to make dishes based on healthy benefits and taste all in one dish. Although this is a minor example not my whole complaint but rather it's just the tip of a more subtle decent where everything else starts to fail and change and eventually this place will just be one of the many carbon copies in town I choose to stay away from. They took away half of the amazing non alcoholic drinks they used to make and replaced them with Ollie Pop probiotic soda or flavored carbonated water, I can get all that at Whole Foods or HEB I want the sparkling antioxidant tea or the prickly pair tisane which at the very least they brought back for now after removing it all last year. True Food kitchen has consistently over cooked everything I've ordered as of lately and inconsistently seasoned most of the side dishes they introduced as replacements I don't know if it's just this location but I hope not because the staff is really good to my family and I really appreciate the hospitality they always show us , reason being that I try and refrain from complaining anymore even if my burger for instance is so dry I order a side of vegan mayo to help it down. I completely get that TFK has always been seasonal and things come and go which is half the reason I love it there. I also understand the menu including the street corn and macaroni cheese is made with whole and healthier ingredients then most places but some items they removed where staples to this place and made TFK popular. It's like having a star player get you to the playoffs then firing them and thinking you'll do well . Taking away dishes and drinks I've seen on the menu through all four seasons since TFK opened was a big mistake, it's not just my opinion but many people agree if you ask around. New comers won't know I get that as well but the people who have eaten there weekly since it opened and have supported TFK since day one are going to start looking elsewhere. Yet someone at the cooperate level decided that they needed to appeal to everyone and replace healthy amazing things with other less healthy options to explore culinary avenues. TFK always has featured a seasonal menu and the seasonal changes were always exciting and a welcome change because the menu still stuck to old TFK style healthy foods and unique in house non alcoholic drinks. So great you like change I agree rotation is important to keep things fresh with the theme of the restaurant and maybe some things are faster and easier but leave the OG dishes alone stick to the original theme leave the in house made drinks for example and get ride of the Ollie Pop . Why does convenience always ruin good restaurants that started off as a place that went above and beyond to give unique creations ? I mean at that point just go big and get a soda machine next and start serving peanut butter jelly bacon burgers and loaded waffle fries buffalo wings and cheese with pretzels cause it looks to be headed that way anyways . I thought TFK started off as a healthier alternative restaurant that didn't serve everything you can get at any hipster restaurant or dive bar . TFK used to pride themselves on making dishes that had combinations of ingredients that tasted great but worked together to nourish your body loaded with nutrients antioxidants and protein , I always left feeling full but not disgusted with myself. They used to make things very customizable and accommodated many diets wether it was adding or removing items now it's like your asking them to pull a rabbit out of a hat when you even try and tweak anything. Altogether I can't say TFK is a bad place to eat and I'd still recommend trying something there because the food is good but it's just not as healthy unique as it used to be. The staff is still amazing though they are the only reason I still go . Five stars for all the staff but two stars for the corporate changes they couldn't help but to be a part of whether they liked the changes or not .

Yelp
Dinner tonight was off their new Spring menu that just launched today. I started with the buffalo cauliflower then ordered the Steak Cobb Salad. Both dishes were amazing flavorful. I'm not a big Romania salad person so I ate the steak and avocado and enjoyed the cauliflower. Highly recommend this place .

Yelp
I went here for a baby shower. The weather was perfect so we sat on the patio. Since it's located in the Domain, there are so many options around for shopping or enjoying a drink before or after your experience at True Food. Our group shared the brussel sprouts and the tuna lettuce wraps. I love roasted brussel sprouts and they were delicious. The tuna lettuce wraps tasted fresh and had a lot of flavor. The wraps were a nice size and easily shareable. By the time it was time to order our meals, I was already pretty full from the appetizers. I ordered the butternut squash soup and it was delicious. It was super creamy and was a nice portion. The staff was very attentive and provided great service for our large group. If you are looking for a chill spot to just grab lunch with friends or even host a large group, True Food Kitchen is a great option!

Yelp
My friend & I came 30 mins before closing. We were asked if we could sit at the bar (w/full menu). We didn't mind but the fact they were close to closing time should have steered us to another location - but we were hangry. We had the edamame dumplings which were delicious - however the entrees weren't the greatest. The panini was burned (on the side facing down) - they did offer to remake it but we knew the time was late & we didn't want to keep anyone in the kitchen longer. I ordered the panang curry rice bowl. The rice was incredibly Al dente (reminded me of rice from the bottom of the rice cooker - almost crunchy). I packed my panang dinner to take home for my husband (he eats most anything) - he tried it & passed on finishing it. Ive heard some great things about this place so i think my experience is isolated. If you go, I'd recommend going at least an hour before closing to ensure the kitchen isn't near closing. If it wasn't for the friendly bar staff & manager, I'd probably leave 2 stars - the hostess & manager were pleasant (again the manager did offer to remake the panini dish - we declined due to the hour - we were very close to closing time & just asked them to remove from our bill).

Yelp
One of my new favorite spots to have dinner in the Domain. The food is amazing, and they have an inclusive menu with vegan, vegetarian, and gluten free options. I love the O.G. Grass-Fed Burger, which comes with mushroom, caramelized onion, arugula, parmesan cheese, and mayonnaise on a hearty bun. Every bite of this burger tastes like heaven. I recently tried the Spicy Panang Curry Bowl with chicken and was very impressed. It came with forbidden rice, sweet potato, bok choy, carrots, snap pea, green bean, and cilantro. The curry had such a bright and refreshing taste, I'll be ordering it again. For dessert, I recommend trying the mango tart. Mango, almond, date, coconut, and blueberry flavors meld together to form this unique vegan dessert. The last time I came, around 7 pm on a hot summer evening in August, I noticed it was quite warm inside the restaurant. It made the dining experience somewhat uncomfortable. Maybe their AC wasn't working that day; hopefully it was an outlier.

Yelp
Ancient Grains bowl with grilled chicken is my favorite. I have to go back every month to get my fix. So good!!

Yelp
I came into work with only one appointment on my schedule, but ended up working till 4 :00. Didn't anticipate that, so I didn't bring a lunch. But I had a break in my schedule so I walked over to True Foods kitchen and treated myself to something healthy. The service and the food were excellent! This is one of the reasons I'm reluctant to ever leave Austin. My dad wants me to move to Kitsap and, while they have some good vegan restaurants, it's mostly vegan junk food. This is elevated, vegan, healthy food and I love it!

Yelp
My recent dinner was a bit of a letdown. Things started out well with a shared cauliflower appetizer that was nicely roasted and flavorful. I then tried the butternut squash pizza that a friend raved about and was underwhelmed. When I snagged a bite that had a dried cranberry and piece of squash, it wasn't so bad. However, my pie was heavy on tangy ricotta and light on everything else, so I had multiple slices that were pretty much just crunchy crust devoid of taste. We finished the night with an order of the vegan chocolate chip cookies that were somehow spongy and grainy, which is quite a feat. Needless to say, I took one bite and left the rest of mine behind. My friend salvaged hers by dipping it in a cup of tea. I love the TFK concept and have enjoyed several tasty meals at other outposts, so I may have caught the Domain location on an off night. Next time I return, I'll stick with a tried-and-true grain bowl.

Yelp
On our first visit to this location, we unfortunately caught them on an off night. While the food was delicious, the service wasn't quite up to par. However, when we returned, the staff more than made up for it. Everything was absolutely perfect, from the attentive service to the outstanding food. Some of our favorites include the hummus, tuna appetizer, and the grass-fed burger. What makes True Food Kitchen truly special is their commitment to using high-quality ingredients, like grass-fed and grass-finished beef, which is something my wife and I really appreciate. We'll definitely be back!

Yelp
My dinner companion chose the restaurant because of a prior good experience in FL. The *most flavorful!* bowl I've ever enjoyed! Pistachio pesto?? Out of this world! The service? Extraordinary. True Food Kitchen is on the far W side of the Domain, so you can enjoy this superb restaurant without having to negotiate the parking challenges that keep me out of the Domain on ordinary dining occasions. Delightful experience all around.

Yelp
Came here for a work dinner hence the group menu. We had our choice of an entrée and two appetizers for the table. The apps were good, you can never go wrong with the dip. The guacamole and the hummus were great! The entrées were ok. Hi got a chicken bowl it was healthy to say the least. Also got frozen yogurt for dessert that was pretty good. This is a great place to eat if you're looking for healthy alternatives of things you like. I had a great whiskey, sour. Love the open floor plan concept. It really gives space, and feels clean and organized. The parking here is horrendous but I suppose if you can find a parking spot at the domain, you are lucky. I'd eat here again with a health-conscious or vegan friend

Yelp
On our first visit to True Food Kitchen we started with drinks from the bar before meeting our party for dinner. I was impressed with the beautifully decorated dining area and bar. The bartender was talented and recommended mixed drinks for my husband that were very well made. The menu had a great variety of fresh, healthy meal choices to appeal to everyone and they even have seasonal choices. I had the Hawaiian fried rice and absolutely loved the flavor and unique combination with quinoa. If you are have dietary issues, this is the place to go. All of our food was great and I like that they take reservations.

Yelp
First time here. Been wanting to try it. The restaurant is nice and bright. Plenty of seating. You can actually see through into the kitchen where food is being prepared. The food is really good. I had the Hawaiian fried rice and kale salad. The menu says that it comes with a fried egg on top. The egg was actually sunny side up which I do not eat. I should have specified fried hard. The drinks are also delicious. I had the Paper Crane and Ciao Bella. Service was great. The hostesses and server were very pleasant and hospitable. There are a few things on the food menu that I would like to try so I must return.

Yelp
We found this piece by accident, but we're so glad we did. Food was great and so fresh. Guacamole was the second best I've had. Everything we had was great. Staff were also so friendly and provided great service. If you're in Austin, a definite place to eat.

Yelp
I was in the Domain with a friend and wanted to stop in for a drink. True Food was steps away and it looked popular enough that it was probably serving a boozy brunch of some kind and probably had some beers. We walked up to the host stand and asked if we could just sit at the bar for a drink and we were allowed to. Before we had a chance to just ask for a drink menu our bartender went on about a non-inflammatory food pyramid and how it was a better food choice. I felt kind of bad when I mentioned that I just wanted a beer. After that our bartender kind of deflated and didn't bother to really check on us afterwards-even asking for a check to close out was difficult. I've tried their food at other locations and found it to be good, but my particular experience here was less than stellar.

Yelp
Delicious fresh healthy options. It's pricey but you get what you pay for in this place the cauliflower risotto is heavenly!! Kale salad with Salmon is perfect !! Always great service and super tidy not a bad thing to say . I wasn't loving a meal once and the waitress noticed and inquired, I said it wasn't to my liking. She apologized and asked if I would like to order something else ? I declined I was full and she sent her manager over. I did t ask to speak to them. He was super nice and handed me a card for a meal on them next time !!! Wow ! Talk about customer satisfaction! Keep up the hood work !

Yelp
Weak drinks. We've gone 5X already and I have not found a delicious meal here. Healthy, yes but the taste is always a miss. Last night we had lasagna bolognese which is a mainstay on their menu. It's the worst version I've ever ever had! The steak was rubbery and the butternut squash soup was too earthy. Every time I meet someone here for lunch or dinner- I always regret it and wish healthy food like this is cooked and prepared better. Flower Child is way tastier than this place.

Yelp
Dining with my vegetarian friend...we started with Seasonal Burrata - artichoke, asparagus, fava bean, caramelized onion vinaigrette, grilled bread. Every bite a taste sensation. My friend had the Pesto Pasta w Tofu - roasted mushrooms, marinated pepper, artichoke, asparagus, parmesan, cilantro pumpkin seed pesto. Large portion of pasta in a Pesto sauce. She opted for extra sauce on the side for more creaminess. I ordered the Korean Noodle Bowl with Tofu - sweet potato glass noodle, pickled shiitake, organic spinach, carrot, bean sprout, Chef Matt's Magical Dust. Sweet potato noodles swimming in a lightly spicy sauce. Typically I order food with meat but I wanted to allow her to have a taste as well. Great food, great service! Large outdoors seating.

Yelp
The staff was great! Friendly and took great care of us. The drinks were great! The Clear Mary, their take on a bloody marry, was excellent as well. The food... was just okay. We had heard a lot of good things about the place and will probably try it again some day but this visit just didn't win us over for the food.

Yelp
Overview & Food: True Food Kitchen in the Domain is expansive and clean. They have a sizable menu of pizza, pastas, burgers, and bowls all rooted in nutritional science and intentionally sourced ingredients. I ordered a chicken sausage pizza. It was very good. Everything tasted fresh and light. The serving size was a bit small. I tried the lasagna which was bursting with flavor. Service: My main complaint is the service. It wasn't terrible, it wasn't great. The host sat us (party of 2) at a 4 person table in the corner and next to another couple. It was just awkward. We asked to move. Shortly thereafter she did the same thing to someone else who also asked to move. The waiter was nice and answered questions, but dropped off our drinks and disappeared for ages. The restaurant wasn't busy so it was pretty frustrating. We paid out via QR code.

Yelp
Not a great experience. In their defense it was ACL weekend so they were understaffed. Food was delayed and an order was wrong (which took a long time to correct) plus an item we didn't order appeared on the check. Our waiter was a bit prickly. They fixed the check but didn't offer a comp for the very-delayed wrong order. The food (except the very-delayed wrong order that got cold) was good!
