The sharing menu is awesome. We split the chicken wrap and salad plus iced tea for $20. The salad had nuts, dates, cheese and jicama. All the food was fresh and very tasty. We had the ranch on the side. It tasted very homemade. The salad dressing was a lovely vinegarette. Food came out quickly and server was super. The restaurant is a little loud, but we could chat easily.

We had lunch at True Food Kitchen on a Saturday afternoon. The food was good, and the grass fed beef burger was probably one of the best burgers we had. Packed with 50 grams of protein, it was fresh, the patty was juicy and delicious. The fries were soggy which is why I removed one star. We also had wild caught tuna bowl and it was filling and tasty. They have lots of fresh juices and smoothies too. The service was great, our waiter was very friendly and attentive without overdoing it. High quality food at reasonable prices in a clean & open space. Highly recommend.

First time at this scratch kitchen restaurant serving seasonal food. "Bobby" recommended and we agree. The cocktails were both very good. The food was fresh and delicious. No shortage of flavor in all the dishes. The fresh cut fries were tasty, as a side, but they were weirdly cold. I got the pesto pasta and my husband got the grass fed tenderloin. The desserts were good. Vegan ice cream was delicious. The service was very good. The server was very helpful and friendly.

Ordered the Lasagne Al Pesto, honey roasted carrots, & lasagne al pesto. I didn’t really like the burger…it was cooked just fine so I’m thinking my palate just didn’t agree with the meat type. The carrots were good but the lasagna was phenomenal.

I got the teriyaki bowl with salmon, edamame dumplings, and adaptogenic tulsi tea and woowwww! The food is phenomenal and the atmosphere is relaxed and comforting. Service was great! I have a dietary restriction and they were very accommodating. I love that they had a lot of healthy options! The tea alone made my night!

This was my boyfriend’s and my first visit to True Food Kitchen, and we were pleasantly surprised. The atmosphere was stylish and welcoming, with spacious booths that could comfortably seat larger groups. I ordered the fresh tuna poke bowl alongside a dragon fruit pink lemonade, while my boyfriend went with the All-American burger and a coffee. The food was fresh and flavorful, with slightly smaller portions—which is expected from a restaurant that prides itself on being organic and seed oil-free. Honestly, this is the kind of mindful eating we should all strive for. There was a minor issue with my meal, but both the server and the manager handled it immediately and with genuine care. It was the fastest and most accommodating response I’ve experienced at any restaurant. Thank you both for your kindness

We went to the location in San Diego a few weeks ago and now this location when we got home. Seth was our waiter today and he took really good care of us and very nice. He was great! Between the delicious plant based burger. Squash soup, hummus, grapefruit martini, and the service this place is a “10”. Hostesses weee also very nice! We love Thai place!

I love this restaurant so much! I had the salmon, and it's legit the best salmon I've ever tasted ever in life, so fresh. Horace was my server who made the recommendation of the salmon and I couldn't be happier! I love the vibe of the place ! Thank you Horace for recommending the salmon and being a great server!

My friend is vegan so we try to eat at places that offer her more than a salad. We like the selections here for both of us. She had a bowl with ancient grains and I had a Mediterranean wrap. We split some guacamole. The food was really delicious. The only hiccup we had was that my friend found a hair in her bowl. Our server quickly replaced the bowl. Speaking of server, ours was great! She was funny and friendly. She checked back with us and let us be when we were chatting. We found out that she's going to school for her masters degree in language pathology. She'll be great! It was a bit loud at times, but people were having great conversations and times. We added to the ambience as we were catching up and laughing, too.

I came here with friends on a Saturday evening for dinner. We had made a reservation but still had to wait 10-15 minutes to be seated. We had already perused the menu while waiting so we knew what we wanted to order but still had to flag down our waitress to place our orders. I had the wild caught tuna poke bowl (regenerative black rice, avocado, roasted mushrooms, cucumber, jalapeño, edamame, pickled ginger, citrus ponzu). The portion size was pretty small and the rice tasted overly salty/citrusy and completely masked the flavor of the other ingredients. I also found the mushrooms a strange pairing with the rest of the bowl. There was also minimal poke in the bowl itself. In the end I was forcing myself to finish it since I was paying for it. Hubby had the ancient grain bowl (miso sesame glazed sweet potato, charred onions, snap peas, portobello, avocado, organic grains, pistachio pesto, hemp seeds, turmeric) and added chicken. The ancient grain bowl was a much better choice than the tuna poke bowl and the ingredients were fresh. Overall wasn't the best experience and many of the items on the menu seemed pricier than necessary.

Delightful brunch! I really loved the Rancher's hash that had this really flavorful braised beef, potatoes, eggs, avocado, tomatoes, and this great salsa on it. Highly recommend. My friend really enjoyed her breakfast tacos also.

Came here for Sunday brunch to celebrate Father's Day and glad I made a reservation because when we arrived, the place was absolutely packed to the gills We got a great little booth and the server was absolutely fantastic and super friendly We ordered just a handful of dishes and everything was super tasty to our surprise quite frankly. Our group definitely sometimes thinks that healthy is not necessarily tasty and that fresh is sometimes a little too clean however, this place did not disappoint and everything from drinks, which I forgot to take a picture of of cocktails, as well as the fancy coffees, the food were delicious. This is definitely a must stop again and clearly on the weekend the reservation is needed I think this is a great addition to the mall. The pricing is very fair considering the other food options.

First time to this place certainly not last. The food tasted TRUE!! It was fresh, clean and tasty. You may need little extra salt though. We got Sourdough cord flat bread it was 4/5. Little more corn and cream would be good. Noodle salad4/5 Mac n cheese 4/5 lacked salt. Drink 5/5. Serve 10-10 her name was Erin and she was super sweet and helpful. I requested to ask about options without ginger and garlic and she quickly went ahead to check with the chef. When she returned to the table she had a note in her hand with all the things written, I was really impressed with her diligence and willingness. Recommend this place for healthy and clean eating options. Will go back soon.

We first walked in and noticed that the restaurant was not that busy. The patio was fairly full. Most of the staff looked extremely young. We were met with our server. I would not say we were greeted because she did not greet us. She looked bored unenthused and aggravated that she actually had a customer which was my wife and myself. We get the same drinks everywhere we go Arnold Palmer's any glass of water. She walked away and we were able to look around and enjoy the patio, which I thought was extremely nice it definite plus and good addition to the restaurant I began to get into conversation with my wife And noticed that it has been some time since we have received their drinks. It was over 15 minutes again. I'd like to state that restaurant was not busy. It was about the time that I noticed how long we were waiting that our server came and dropped our Arnold Palmer off with no water. She asked if we were ready to order. I told her yes I went with a Poké bowl and my wife did the same but with chicken, I then asked her. Can we please get some waters? She told us that she would get them. The waters never came. I noticed that there was a table sitting next to us that had a arrive before we did. She also was taking care of this table. She never spoke with them which now must have been close to 25 to 30 minutes it was appalling. I could see that this table was extremely agitated. While we were still waiting for anything to arrive to our table, a family arrived with a dog. I'm sorry, but I think it is not a place in any restaurant no matter if it's a service animal or not to bring a dog that will be sniffing around my food tables were some close together, and the dog was right by my foot. As if this was something out of a Monty Python skit, the waitresses ran with the a newfound energy to bring this dog, a bowl of water and a bowl to put his food in. I could do nothing but laugh myself and see that patrons are waiting to be served or even greeted but they are jumping over each other to bring a dog better service than humans. Our food arrives to our table, not from our waitress, but from some other food runner he asked is there anything else that we can get us? I said I'd like some water and a refill of our Arnold Palmer's. He said he would get our server. My dish was completely laughable. We're talking about a Poké bowl that is around $30 and the portion was 80% spinach leaves hardly no rice hardly any tuna. I could've grabbed the entire amount and put it into my hand. That's how small it was. My wife dish did not look much better, but she did have more food. There was literally nothing special about the flavors. Everything was some bland. I got much better Poké bowl at a Poké Brothers or I would spend not even one third of the price of this. Our drinks never came tables with patrons sat with no service. I Could not keep my mouth shut any longer. I saw would look to be a manager and I was correct. It was a young lady. I told her this was an awful experience. I told her that we still never received waters that we are sitting here waiting for our server sucking on ice cubes. I showed her the size of my mail and said that this is ridiculous for the price. I then asked her are you all shortstaffed or are you extremely busy? She looked at me with and matter-of-factly said no, we're not busy and no, we are not shortstaffed. I said so what is the excuse for the horrible service? I then pointed to the table next to me that had not been served the entire time we had been sitting she said there is no excuse she asked if this was the first time that we have died here I said no actually it was the second time the first time was awful and this was even worse. She left and said oh so we're doing really great. I'm sorry. She said can I get you some dessert on the house? I said no I'd actually just like to leave. She took our check and came back and told us feel bad about your bad experience. I comped your Arnold Palmer's wow thank you so much for saving me five dollars. For an awful experience. This was the first time I think I've ever done this. I left no tip for our server. I'm not gonna keep recording servers for horrendous service, especially when there's no excuse. I was a bartender for many years. I also was a restaurant manager and server. My sister is still a server. My mother was a waitress believe me. I am very sympathetic to the service industry. It's not easy but there's no excuse for awful service for multiple tables for the most basic needs of a patron. My original review of this restaurant stays the same. The food is obnoxious in flavorless. The prices are exorbitant. The service is awful. I give a rating of 2 out of 10 the only reason this received a two was because of the very nice patio. My final thought is this maybe if you were a dog you will get better treatment than the humans.

I stopped in recently to grab a to go order. I've never eaten here before, but wanted to give it a try. The atmosphere of the restaurant was bright and airy-a pleasant vibe. I ordered the citrus salmon salad. I ignored the prices, but quickly realized my mistake when presented with the bill. After I tipped 20%, my small salad ended up being $31. I've never minded spending money on good food, and this was a tasty little meal, but certainly not worth $30. It's just lettuce with minimal toppings and a small piece of salmon. It tasted good, but it's nothing I can't make at home (and with a lot less sodium). I probably wouldn't go back, just based on pricing alone.

It's always treat coming here when we are in the area! The staff is always friendly and very knowledgeable about their drinks and food. The food is alway great! I try my best to try something new every time I am there! Always fresh, tasty, and leaves you feeling full, but energetic! The drinks are always great too, sometimes a little strong :) but I don't think that is a bad thing. The thing I would warn others about is their meatloaf I believe. It seems to be cold meatloaf, which was good, just interesting. I am glad I tried it, since I am always curious, but I think I prefer hot meatloaf. Otherwise, everything is simply great. My partner ALWAYS gets the grain bowl (forgot exactly what its called) but shes always very satisfied with it. I highly recommend everyone stopping by for lunch or dinner after hitting the mall next door!

Ughhh I wish I liked these foods more. The place is clean and the service is good. The price point is high. The quality is fresh and top of the line. But everything is bland and simply tasteless. I'm quite disappointed with my tuna poke. It's the worst I've ever had. I'm so very sorry to say. Although I should appreciate the freshness and the thought of clean eating at this place, my spoiled tastebuds simply didn't. The flourless cake is absolutely phenomenal. I can have that all day. But not enough to return.

Ample parking, fresh, clean, and not too loud (high ceilings with dampening boards) ambiance, window wall brightens the room. Interesting lighting accents make me want to redo the lighting options in my own home. I wasn't sure how much I would like this place as it isn't one of my typical haunts. Everything at True Food is made with utmost care and health of people and the planet in mind (their words, not mine), but it works. And it works extremely well. They have a seasonal menu and we ate off their "Summer" menu. Truthfully, I think most of the items are year round, but there are enough changes to warrant different menus. throughout the year. We started with their Wold-Caught Tuna Lettuce Wraps. It's not a dish for me, so my wife and son indulged. They said it was really, really good and that the pineapple relish was extremely good and made the dish along with the fried rice. I would have been fine with the fried rice alone as that was very tasty. My wife was recommended the Ancient Grains bowl. There is nothing in it that I would eat being a picky carnivore, but if you like this sort of thing, she says it was crazy good and it's a large enough portion to bring home and have for lunch the next day (as she did). My son got the Grilled Grass-Fed Steak cooked medium rare. It's been a long time since I've seen steak cooked to such perfection. He ordered an additional portion of steak as well and it really wasn't mush more that a slab a meat on a plate found at a regular steakhouse. This was sliced up and placed atop a bed of asparagus, sweety drop peppers, regenerative black rice, with a black garlic vinaigrette. He ate every last bit with gusto. I ordered the Pot Roast Beef Dip sans the carmelized onions. It's 100% organic grass-fed beef, with a horseradish aioli, parmesan and au jus. There was extra au jus on the side but wasn't needed at all. The combination was insanely juicy and flavorful and the roll was light, slightly crispy, yet somehow melts in your mouth. I also upgraded my side to get their umami potatoes (I think umami is a house thing for them). Umami is basically salt, pepper, and olive oil. Which coated the potatoes and gave them a crispy texture when cooked (baked, whatever) and it comes with a side of the black garlic vinaigrette as well. It has a slight spiciness to it, but the vinegar cuts through it and leaves the flavor and not the over-spiciness of what garlic and black pepper can almost always overdo when added to food. They don't serve any type of cola so I ordered a peach lemonade which was perfectly sweetened but not overly so. The peach cuts down the tartness of the lemonade and gives it a nice sweet kick that one doesn't expect when peaches are mixed with lemonade. The true kick is that True Food uses agave straws to help the environment, not hinder it. At every turn, True Food finds a way to make everything about helping the people they serve to the environment around them. The use of lots of windows instead of utilizing extra electricity on lighting, to the agave straws, to organically sourced food. While there isn't a location closer to me, we will definitely return and try other dishes. Their sourdough pizzas looked amazing!

Came in for brunch. Hostess was rude! I'd say if you hate your job so much just don't work there. My wife and I were excited to try your brunch since we love your food so much, but she definitely put a damper on our experience with her eye rolling. Thank fully by the time we left it was a different hostess she seemed nice! But aside from that I'm not going to ruin the review and put 1 star. But she definitely needs an attitude adjustment! My food was amazing had the ranchers hash with GF bread and the avocado toast GF which was great due to our allergies!!! Our server was so helpful she even double checked with the chef to verify our allergies!

This is a nice place for lunch. I like the vibe. Very bright with greens and just feels good. The service is friendly and fast. The food is ok. I haven't loved anything here really. I feel like the portions are rather large for lunch- but maybe I'm just not as hungry for lunch as I am for dinner. All in all, a cool place to meet up with a friend for lunch and have some delicious healthy food.

I'd recommend making reservations if you want to dine here because it can get quite busy, especially if you're dining in with a group. Customer Service: The staff has been friendly and helpful during all of my visits. Cost: The cost may be on the higher end but they do use fresh ingredients, and everything tastes good! Food The food never disappoints me. I enjoy the burgers and bowls. This restaurant makes healthy taste good and the portions are filling. They also have options that are vegan, vegetarian and gluten friendly. Ancient Grains Bowl (added Salmon): The bowl comes with miso sesame glazed sweet potato, turmeric, charred onion, snap pea, portobello, avocado, hemp seed, cilantro pumpkin seed pesto. Although it does not automatically include meat/fish, the bowl is filling in itself. I like mine with a little protein so I typically add salmon to it which complements it well. All the flavors and the ingredients mesh well together and the soft and crunch factor is also perfect. This bowl is the option I opt for when I come here so definitely try it out if you're uncertain on what to order. Spicy Panang Curry Bowl: The bowl includes forbidden rice, sweet potato, bok choy, rainbow carrots, snap pea, green bean, thai shellfish curry broth, herbs. The bowl is also good and perfect for a cold day or if you're craving Thai curry. Tuscan Kale Salad: The bowl includes organic kale, lemon, garlic, parmesan, breadcrumb and is perfect for a hot summer day or if you're in the mood for something real healthy. I'd recommend adding a protein like salmon to add a little more to the salad. The O.G. Grass-Fed Burger: The burger consists of grass-fed organic beef, umami, mushroom, caramelized onion, organic arugula, parmesan, mayonnaise. The flavors of the ingredients go well together with every bite. The burger may not be as filling in comparison to ordering a bowl or just in itself. I'd recommend ordering an item on the side to go with the burger. I'd be back if I was in the area. Wish there was one near the Schaumburg area!

Go during happy hour. Go for the fast service in the table area. Hopefully you will get Erick who was friendly, informative and efficient. I also think the drinks are light and refreshing. I am glad we gave this place another try. It remains my son's favorite for a burger in that area.

Debated between 3-4 stars - there were so great dishes and the service was great so it got bumped up. Herb hummus was very good- love that it came with the fresh veggies in the middle. Guac was ok- the chips it came with her too crispy- they almost tasted a bit stale. Roasted Brussels sprouts were really good- great flavor. The meatloaf was absolutely amazing - would def recommend! The Korean noodles with steak was just ok- it needed some kick to it, some spice was badly needed! I got the smoky old fashion- it was good but the mezcal was def better for the smoky drink lovers. The waiter was so nice and even gave us a couple free desserts since we were celebrating something with our group.

UPDATE: I don't come by Oakbrook too often but when I do I always try and visit True Food for their seasonal items after walking around. Got seated promptly on a fairly busy Tuesday evening and had our server (Mark?/Mario?) help my family and I through the new seasonal Menu. We got the Brussel Sprouts and focaccia as a starter. If you're a fan of peanut butter cups, their Peanut Butter Tart is an amazing dessert. True food always has a nice clean ambiance, and friendly staff. Another server Izzy helped my mom pick out the Crime of Passion for an evening cocktail! 10/10 dinner service :)

I had the matcha horchata which was nice (definitely really sweet, as horchata is). I was there for brunch on a Sunday and got the avocado toast which was bomb. Chicagoland just got a whole lot healthier, and I'm here for it! This bright and breezy spot serves up a mean butternut squash soup - sweet and sublime. A spicy Kale drink? Sure, why not? The Teriyaki grain bowl with crazy-crispy chicken sealed the deal.

Not the first time I've been to this restaurant, but first time for dinner as I usually join coworkers for lunch. Kind of a different experience as far as entrée sizes and prices. For lunch I feel it's a moderately good deal but for dinner I was a little surprised at the portion size compared to the price, we did enjoy all of our dishes but having a hard time with the value. The charred cauliflower appetizer was tasty but small portion for over $12. The lasagna Bolognese made with a chicken sausage was equivalent of two large raviolis stacked on top of each other. For $20 I would expect a bigger portion. Overall a higher rating due to the ambience of the restaurant and service was good.

I'm always looking for something healthy since I'm a pescatarian so we ended up here at True Food Kitchen. Our waiter was very nice and very, very honest about the menu items. When we asked him about the guac and chips, he was honest and said the guacamole is good, but a lot of people send the chips back. We asked for a sample and they were indeed terrible. The 3 of us ordered the Thai peanut noodle bowl...good choice! My sister ordered extra peanut sauce and I needed salt. This would be a perfect dish if there were crushed peanuts on the top. Very clean, bright place.

I like healthy food, but this was too boring and expensive for me. Service was good and atmosphere was cute. Potato appetizer was good but crazy expensive. Turkey burger was dry. Mac and cheese barely had cheese on it. But maybe I'm just used to food with more fat and flavor? Would be interested in trying other items on the menu if it wasn't so expensive. I guess that's any place in the Oak Brook area though.

Lovely modern ambiance and welcoming staff. I ordered their smoked gouda turkey burger which was very satisfactory. I love how they listed the calories (great for people who count calories). This was 490 calories which was amazing for the size and flavor. Beautiful bar in the center, which I hope to try next time!

After the move to the 'burbs from the city, I was happy to find another True Food in Oak Brook. I actually really enjoy this restaurant - as does my husband. Delicious healthier alternatives. The restaurant is much smaller than the Chicago location - so potentially reservations are needed. One of our favorite apps is the charred cauliflower and it did not disappoint. Really delicious. For entrees - I got the True Blue Burger - loved the blue cheese on it and my husband got his usual fave of the Turkey Burger. Our service was a bit slow - but I think it was due to a bit of short staffing. Nothing too noticeable - unless you were in a hurry.

Head out to Oakbrook Shopping Center and try True Food Kitchen. Located on the outside edge of the mall near Crate and Barrel - where we were actually headed. We were greeted warmly upon entering even though it was a busy Saturday night. We were told a 30-40 minute wait and we put our name on the waitlist. Cool vibe lots of talking and laughing and good people watching our table was ready in 35 minutes. The menu is extensive and truly has something for everyone with lots of vegan and GF options. Great cocktail selection made even better by offering fruit spritzers for the non alcoholic crowd to which you could add your favorite booze to make a cocktail! We ordered a peach lemonade plus vodka and a flute of Cava. Appetizer - after a lot of back and forth we settled on edamame guacamole and house made baked tortilla chips. This was incredibly good. The guacamole was fresh with great texture and the baked chips we seasoned and super crunchy. Main dishes - we both chose bowls - Teriyaki quinoa bowl plus grilled shrimp and a Burrito bowl plus grilled chicken. The chicken was so tender you could cut it with a fork and the shrimp was perfectly cooked. Each dish was delicious and portions are good. Both were made with brown rice and quinoa with flavorful sauces and lots of colorful veggies. We ate everything on our plates so sadly no room for dessert... this time.

I love the meatloaf here. I know it may sound funny to order meatloaf at a restaurant but it's simply amazing. It has a brown sauce with mushrooms on it. The mashed potatoes are fantastic. Also highly recommend the Brussel sprout and hummus appetizers.

True food kitchen has always been an amazing healthy restaurant. I've been to several locations in California, Kansas and Chicago and have always been satisfied. My ultimate favorite is the edamame dumplings. I've also tried the burger and pasta dishes. Drinks are good and refreshing. It is on the pricey side but many vegan and health conscious options to choose from which was perfect every time for the company I've went with.

We decided to give True Food Kitchen a try since we don't normally eat that kind of food. Restaurant was clean and vibrant. Our server was genial and helpful with any recommendations. Prices are a bit expensive since they have a lot of vegan and gluten free options. We tried the kale aid drink which was very healthy and refreshing. For food, we tried edamame dumplings, O.G. Grass fed burger, and teriyaki quinoa bowl with shrimp. Edamame dumplings were very delicious, nice use of white truffle oil with herbs. The burger is probably in my top 5 favorite burgers of all time. Meat was not dry it was succulent. Each bite was better than the last. The quinoa bowl with shrimp was okay like a . It wasn't bad but not super tasty either. I would eat here again just for that burger.

If you are looking for a healthy meal with absolutely delicious options True Food Kitchen is a must try! My vegan mama was so excited that they had options for her that met her needs while tasting incredible! Our waitress Anna was a doll and great at explaining the menu and giving us wonderful suggestions. We will be back to try their Brunch Menu served on the weekends!

My husband pulled over to make an unpleasant phone call and, because I wanted to give him some space, I wandered into True Food Kitchen hoping for a gluten-free sweet treat. Yay! Super yummy gluten-free vegan chocolate chip cookie! And they warmed it up for me--to go!! Delicious and happy.

Love the local aspects to the menu and how the menu rotates for seasonality. Hawaiian fried rice was tasty and the chili oil is a must if you like spicy. The creme brûlée flavor was good but slightly overcooked. Great service with good recommendations

Stoped by true food kitchen while we were shopping at Oakbrook mall last weekend and it was an amazing experience! There's tons of seating inside and outside, the staff is absolutely amazing, and the menu is seasonal which allows you to try different items every time you visit! We ordered a dragon fruit lemonade, Mediterranean salad, and the OG grass-fed burger with sweet potatoes on the side! The lemonade was super refreshing and crisp! Definitely much needed on a hot and sunny day! The Mediterranean salad was my favorite! It had the typical Mediterranean salad toppings mixed with quinoa, artichokes, almonds, feta, and a delicious dressing! Every bite was perfect!!!! It was so healthy yet so so delicious! You can also add protein like chicken, shrimp, steak, or tofu to make it a little heavier but it was just perfect as it was for me! The burger and sweet potatoes were soooooo yummy! Probably one of the juiciest and tender burger patties I've ever tasted! And even after eating the burger and potatoes, I didn't feel like I was overstuffed! So the quality of meat and ingredients were amazing! If you're ever in the Oakbrook area, definitely check out this place for something light, refreshing, healthy, but also delicious!

This is one of their smaller stores. Food is always really good. It's different same menu, but always taste a little bit different. They clearly give some latitude to the chefs and probably the local food. I got the curry. It was good service was decent.

Came to oakbrook to work out at lifetime and stumbled upon this place driving by. It's very clean and the host was nice but the service provided was horrible. I had to keep asking other staff memebers for refills and utensils. The food was 5 stars but when u have to wait 10 minutes for a water or another knife was a huge disappointment. I probably would order to go next time instead of dining in.

Arrived at 10am on a Saturday. We were one of the first ones there. Smelled of cleaning solution when we entered. I guess that's good. The interior was spacious with lots of booths and tables. The decor and color theme made me think of healthy food. Lots of green hues. Food was good. I ordered tacos with Bison, eggs, and sweet potatoes. My friends ordered eggs and chicken sausage. All the food was good... Nothing spectacular... But adequate. Our service was great. Thanks, Horace.

Clean and fresh eating options! Their menu offers a lot of diff plates for diff types of diets, you can be vegan, vegetarian, Gluten free or just eat everything and you will find a good and delicious option here! The service at this location is always good specially if you get ALIVIA for your table, she is not only super friendly but she has great recommendations! Their drinks and cocktails are very good and diff as well!

Came back to True Food for a quick dinner. Dom took care of us and made sure all our needs were met in a very professional manner. Great work!

Only have ordered to go/takeout from here but seems like a very chill and casual place to eat at! I normally order a salad or bowl for lunch. lt is a wonderful option if you're being mindful of ingredients when eating out, need plant based, vegan or vegetarian options and even gluten free. I can see both sides of people not liking and absolutely loving this place. Like I stated, if you are following any of the dietary restrictions I mentioned, then you will be pleased with the selection of dishes offered. The vegan/veg/plant based dishes have the same amount of curation and culinary effort that "regular" diets have. If you are not following those dietary restrictions or preferences you might view this as lacking, "mid", or satisfying enough. Keep in mind this place has a mission to bring whole, true, real food that focuses on ingredient quality and not masking it with overly processed, pre made things. If you don't like it then that's alright! You're just not the target audience. I think they are trying to encourage eating real whole foods which I'm all for and they do a good job being in the middle of reaching audiences who eat this way and those who do not. With that being said, I love getting the steak cobb salad. It has perfectly cooked steak, a rich, jammy soft boiled egg, tomato, avocado, blue cheese, corn and a ranch dressing. Obviously this is a really rich, hearty salad and it's why I say they are an ingredient focused place. Every item in the salad tasted fresh, nothing frozen or prepared. This was really fresh and satisfying. I could argue that the portions are small but it is probably aligned with their mission of having a "healthier" lifestyle. For the $21 I paid for this salad, I wouldn't complain having a little more if it. However, I do love this place for a day to day option and I enjoy coming back. I Will have to try out brunch or sitting down one day as I'm sure it will be good. My small critique is when I pick up through their take out door, you may feel confused or out of place as no one comes to assist you right away so you question whether you're in the right spot.

Quality was amazing and prices reasonable. Organics! Taste! And Prompt service even on Mothers Day!

I have several vegetarian and vegan friends and this is a good place to go where all of us can find something interesting. The staff is always awesome too.

Updated Review: unfortunately I felt embarrassed bringing my friends here (it's a trip that I always felt was worth it.) Our server was very very inattentive, though not inherently mean. I'll just say her name started with an A. I figure for us waiting 45+ minutes long to get our orders placed that she would offer possibly a desert or something, or address any of that but it wasn't. I had to get up and ask for our orders to be placed. Secondly, the food was underwhelming. The breakfast hawaiian fried rice had too much saturation of sauce to rice. and a "hidden" (under veggies) fully cooked through yolk. But, I didn't have the energy to say something again to ruin our vibe even further.

I thought this was going to be a super casual spot: order your food at the counter and find a seat but I was pleasantly surprised when I walked in and there were actually greeters who seated us. We didn't have to wait at all. I loved the fresh and modern decor. After a day of activity, we were looking for some healthy options and they definitely came through. I had a very hard time deciding what I wanted to eat. I was considering the guacamole and chips but was told that the chips were not that great. The server was very nice and brought a couple of chips over for me to try and I did not like them. A friend ordered the Thai peanut bowl, and I had a chance to taste it before ordering it. I liked it initially, but the more I ate, the more I did not like it. It was just missing something. The service were really nice. We had lots of questions and they really took the time to answer them. If I'm in the area again, I might stop by and try something different, but I wouldn't make a special trip to eat here.
