Such a great luck spot! My mom, sister, and I came here for a nice lunch during our shopping day. When we tried to go at 12:30 there was a 20 minute wait- which was not bad, but if you don’t want to wait I would definitely recommend making a reservation. We were able to sit outside which was perfect. They had light heaters running to make sure everyone was comfortable. Our waiter was nice, but not the most attentive. It took a very long time to get our waters and our check at the end. It was ok given the business of the restaurant. My sister and I both got the teriyaki rice bowl and my mom got the grain bowl with added salmon. Both dishes were excellent. Adding protein on your dishes is an exponential added cost, but worth it in my opinion. Overall this is a really great place in one of my favorite shopping places!

Friendly staff and quality food. The cheeseburger was excellent. Better than most ‘non healthy’ restaurants. They cook the meat to your desired temperature. The edamame dumplings are in a mushroom broth that tastes like beef broth to me. Also very tasty. They have a $19 lunch special where you get two food items and a drink.

The butternut squash pizza was amazing but everything else we ordered was not good at all. The Chinese chicken a salad was dry and tasteless. The "air fried crispy chicken tenders were very soggy and super greasy. We will not be back. There are plenty of amazing restaurants in the area.

I love this place!!!! Our waitress Kambry was fantastic. The food is always fresh & delicious! My favorites are the edamame dumplings, spaghetti squash, guac & matcha horchata.

This was my first time trying Truefood and it exceeded my expectations! Lots of vegetarian options here. We tried the sourdough pizzas and they were amazing. Our server Cynthia did a great job, very friendly and quick service.

This place is incredible. We are from out of state and this restaurant was recommended by friends. So glad we found it. Everything was great! Our server was prompt, knowledgeable, and attentive without hovering. The atmosphere, especially outside was the right ambiance. Then of course there was the food. My wife has Celiac and the staff was very knowledgeable about the kitchens set up, procedures, and capabilities. The selection of food is large, organic, and clean. What came out and was set in front of us was amazing. Oh, and desert was the bomb. We'll be coming back before we head back home.

We had a good lunch. They have lots of healthy choices and are very conscious of food allergies and sensitivity. There was a slight wait to get in at lunch but once seated on the patio the service was quick and efficient. Our meals were all good and the pricing was typical of the area. I would go back.

The apps and refreshers drinks are good. We got the hangover one! I like the edamame dumplings. We did the order 2 combo. I didn’t love the Korean noodle bowl. It was so strong. Strong pickle or fish oil flavor

What a great place! The moment we walked in, we were greeted and seated. Our sever came over very quickly to greet us and brought us water. I was here with my daughter and one of her best friends. We came over after a nice morning of making lipstick. This was our first time and the server was patient giving us time to look over the menu. She was super friendly, attentive and knowledgeable about the menu and gave us some great choices. What we ordered was Spaghetti Squash Casserole, Turkey Burger and Pesto Pasta. Everything was so delicious. I highly recommend them if you're looking for healthy, clean ingredient food. You can't go wrong here.

8/10 Ordered the Steak Frites and the steak unfortunately came out undercooked I asked for medium rare and it was definitely rare. Nice char, but under-seasoned along with the fries. The peppercorn sauce wasn't my favorite, but I did appreciate that they served it on the side. 7/10 Also tried the Margherita Pizza, and that was the saving grace. Absolutely delicious and definitely something I'd recommend. 8.5/10 What I did love: the quality of ingredients and the way everything is prepared. The fries were air-fried, and they list all the ingredients and macros, which I'm obsessed with it feels like how I'd cook at home... just needs a little more seasoning lol. Service was fast and efficient. Our server was friendly and gave great recommendations that hit the spot. Ambiance is chill and date-friendly, and you can even see into the kitchen which is super cool.

Kennedy, checked me in on a Saturday around lunch. It was busy, suggest making RESERVATIONS! Kennedy was super nice and accommodating. 15+ minute wait, not bad considering. That is why I suggest making Reservations! Sage is our Server, she is very cordial and very accommodating. I ordered the Butternut Squash Soup and Chicken Tenders with a Green Lettuce Salad. Very Busy!

Delicious spot located in the heart of Scottsdale Quarter. Have been here a few times and have always enjoyed it. You can definitely taste the quality of the meals at True Food! They have a good menu with a ton of variety on it. Portions are good sizes too. Since you're in Scottsdale, it is a little pricey. They do have a good happy hour though! Recently, I had their Jambalaya Pasta and it was excellent. Paired it with a Spicy Mango Margherita that had the perfect kick to it. Very good! Sitting on the patio gives a great option for people watching and enjoying the ambiance of the plaza. If you're in the area and looking for a healthier option, I'd give True Food a try!

Every time I've come here I've felt very catered to. I think this is one of my favorite restaurants because there is such an intentional focus on the entire environment, like their branded and soft napkins, eco friendly straws, and an emphasis on sustainability in all regards. One waitress I wanted to give a shoutout to was Olivia, who I had spoken with in passing when I did a to-go order, but I was able to get a better understanding of her personality when she waited on my table. She was really sweet and attentive. As for the food, I ordered a cranberry spritz (seasonal) and the buffalo chicken sandwich with fries. The person I was with got their Asian wild -caught shrimp, which they enjoyed because of its diverse palette. Everything was great across the board and I love when good restaurants make me take home leftovers and I have another day to enjoy it. I tell most everyone I know about TrueFood, so you know I'll be returning :).

We used to love true food. But the service has consistently been lacking. And the last time we dined there was a long hair in my dish. By the time the staff came around so that I could show them, the rest of my party had finished their food and I'd lost my appetite. They offered a dessert, but after having seen that hair, we politely declined. The place is centrally located inside of the Quarter and has a nice ambiance overall.

We absolutely love to come here! It's the guilty food without the guiltiness. Great service and beautiful atmosphere for the holidays! Come before 6pm for their happy hour menus!

I love coming here and treating myself every once in awhile, it's usually when I am close by for a color and cut and then will take myself here for lunch afterwards. I came in here for a late lunch and they have happy hour when I stopped in. Their happy hour is very limited now which is a bummer but the food is quite good if you like clean eating. I had an OG drink which is a non alcoholic fresh ginger honey and soda drink. This was a bit too sweet for me and could have used a side of seltzer with this but the taste was very good. I love their edamame dumplings so I had an order of that today and for happy hour, it's $2 off. I also had their charred cauliflower, I love cruciferous veggies and this had tahini drizzled on top, and with some dates too. Flavor was soo good! I also love that each dish has the calorie count next to it , so you know what you are getting into it! Overall, my meal came to about 700 calories! Sweet! I enjoyed my late lunch here and always love coming here even if maybe others don't like this place. More for me! Yea!

Dined here during happy hour with my son. Only a few tables occupied so plenty of space. Our waitress Jessa didn't say much and no interactions outside of "can I get you anything to drink" then "what would you like to order" after she brought the lemonades out. No recommendations or any warmth in her tone. She seemed checked out. The food came, we both got the grass fed burgers; son got fries and I got mashed potatoes. The fries were very dry, over cooked and not sure how but he got mostly the little end pieces. The mashed potato portion was significantly smaller (small ice cream scoop size) than previously. But the burgers were good. Waited a while to see if she'd come check on us but no. An older couple got seated next to us and they received great service! She welcomed them and thanked them for joining for dinner, told them about the happy hour, her favorites off the menu and even apologized for the candle on the table not being lit, and proceeded to light it. (We didn't receive any of that). After I asked for the check, again it took her a while but when she did it was just set on the table, no "thank you" "how was everything" or "thanks for dining with us." Never going back.

This was my $25 salad from true food today. What an absolute joke. I could've gotten four salads from salad and go for this sad thing. The cold chicken was disgusting. This place is not worth the hype. Great!! you didn't use seed oils in my five bites of my $25 salad. Please stop supporting a place that charges outrageous prices for food that is the size of easy bake oven food.

We came on a Sunday right when they opened and were immediately seated and ordered drinks. Unfortunately drinks were disappointing. Pass on the rose sangria. The watermelon mojito was ok. The best thing we ordered was the cheese pizza for our daughter. That was delicious! Unfortunately my Chinese chicken salad left a lot to be desired. And my husband ordered the #1 item the beef burger and it was just ok as well. He got his with fries and again totally underwhelming. $100 for two drinks, two entrees and a kids pizza. Location is great. Misters are great. They even lowered the shades for us which was nice. But service felt awkward. Our waitress wasn't super friendly, attentive or knowledgeable. Most likely won't be returning.

I've been coming to True Food since it first opened in Scottsdale Quarter, and it's a go-to spot for family dinners. The menu offers a variety of options and changes seasonally which is great, though sometimes that means your favorite dish disappears. The interior can get crowded, especially during lunchtime, but the outdoor seating is a nice option with misters to keep you cool. Service is consistently good, and the managers are attentive and genuinely care about their customer's happiness. My usual order is the Grass Fed burger. It's a delicious combination of arugula, umami sauce, and Parmesan cheese which pairs great with the kale salad. My parents love the mushroom pizza and the salmon curry! If you haven't been, it's worth a visit. You're bound to find something you'll like, and their happy hour is pretty solid too.

A friend I hadn't seen in quite some time recently suggested we dine here and catch up. Since I hadn't dined in at a True Food restaurant for a few years now I said why not. On this visit we decided to start with the edamame dumplings and the Mediterranean hummus to share. The edamame dumplings were as we remembered, the truffle oil was subtle and not overpowering. The hummus was good, had a nice zest of spice to it, the accompanying flatbread was a bit hard for our preferences. For our main entrees, we decided to order one ancient grain bowl and two orders of the grass-fed burger with a side of kale salad and sweet potato hash. The grass-fed burger was cooked to medium rare perfection. It wasn't soggy, too salty or overwhelming. The two sides also balanced each other well, a nice combination of sweet, sour, and savory. Overall, the service was warm, friendly and attentive. Our server Hayley was fantastic! Since the decision to dine here was kind of last minute, we weren't able to make reservations ahead of time. There was about a twenty-five-minute wait when we went for lunch on a Friday afternoon, so I highly recommend making reservations since this restaurant is in a prime area. One thing I liked about this location is that they have ample seating options both indoors and outdoors.

I love True Food! Food is always fresh and delicious. Service is consistently good and atmosphere is fabulous. They have outdoor seating, as well as inside. Love the outdoor seating during the cooler weather!

Came here for bunch on a Saturday. The hostess staff was friendly and greeted me when I walked in. Our sever was quick to greet us she and brought us water. I went with friends who I met in person for the first time and the server was patient with us taking and not looking at the menu right away. When we did order, hamburger, classic breakfast and a scramble bowl. Everything was delicious, If you are looking for healthy, clean ingredient food, this is the place.

Postmates delivery. Ordered grass fed burger RARE it came burnt. Turkey burger was also burnt. Never ordering from them again. Get your act together. Even the "free pizza " was AWFUL. As my husband says you dont get anything free. So disappointed in this restaurant.

We gave it another go- because everyone has an off day. Well, I'm not sure what's going on at True Food but it's just not what it used to be. Service was pretty good but it's falling down in the food flavor and quality of preparation I guess! I can't resist the Tuscan kale salad- I love it so much I have the recipe and make it at home. I make it. Better than they do now apparently- because last time I ordered it my taste buds nearly cried- all the flavor the bunch of the dressing- Gone! My husband's Turkey burger was overcooked, had been over sauced and he even commented on the kale salad being so different. The portions are smaller, meals less flavorful and yet prices are increasing. I'm so saddened to say with these recent experiences...we may be skipping True Food for dining out. I will just have to make the salad at home. Bummer True Food...What's happening?

Such a welcoming experience. I sat at the bar and felt like an old friend being welcomed back! Olivia the bartender was absolutely wonderful and took time explaining the tequilas they had and my food options I needed to tweak. I ended up w Chicken parm and I believe it will always be my go to! If you are looking for consistency and a drama free experience I highly recommend this establishment!

I don't think I'll ever have a bad experience at True Food. Everything is always top notch. Today, Barney was a delight and our brunch was delicious. I had an iced americano and the farmers hash. Both were unreal.

Great Brunch! Barney was an amazing server, truly made the experience much better. We enjoyed their patio and had an all around relaxing experience. Next time we are in Phoenix we will come back!

Right of the bat service was good and food did not take long to come out everything went well until the actual food itself .... I hate to give bad feedback but they need some improvement on their food here. Ordered: Margherita Pizza- I've had frozen pizza that tasted better than this and it's saying a lot. Spicy Panang Curry Bowl- My friend wanted to eat something soupy but this dish was a huge letdown. There was almost no curry flavor at all, just a bland, unappetizing sauce that left me wishing for something more. Despite being labeled as "spicy," there was hardly any heat. It felt like they forgot the spice entirely, leaving the dish completely flat True Food Kitchen was a disappointing experience. The food was simply bad and lacking in flavor. I had high hopes for their health-focused menu, but the dishes felt extremely underwhelming. I left feeling unsatisfied and wishing I had chosen a different place. Overall, I wouldn't recommend it; there are better options for dining in the area.

I LOVE True Food Kitchen! It's one of those places I love to go to and feel great about what I'm putting into my body. (With the exception of their excellent espresso martinis lol) Staff is always really friendly and accommodating. There's ways a nice buzz inside and on their patio, which I love. Food is excellent! I recently had their chicken parmesan and it was so delicious! It came with spaghetti squash which I love! Ingredients here always taste fresh and everything is made with such care and detail. Definitely give them a shot!

Came here for the edamame dumplings and they were ok. The broth was delicious but my wife remembers them having more flavor. We didn't get anything else since we had done a progressive birthday meal at a couple other spots. Bartender was friendly and the place was definitely busy.

My bestie and I popped in there Friday at lunch. Guests are always friendly here. Food is great and healthy. We loved the airfield chicken appetizer (subbed horseradish aoli for Buffalo sauce) and added side of ponzu. So good! The edamame wontons with truffle oil were incredible! And the Margherita pizza, light on cheese, added mushrooms was unbelievably good! Service was a bit less attentive and friendly as usual but still professional and helpful. Still 5 stars!

Outstanding dinner, service and experience. Cade was our server, he was spot on, gave solid recommendations and was very timely with everything. We started off with Edamame Dumplings. They were unique and a good appetizer that we all enjoyed. The Chicken Parmesan was excellent. Not sure our kids devoured it and actually wanted more. It was a great portion size, but it was that good! The All American Burger was a great burger option, cooked medium well, and served with sweet potato hash. The seasonal market salad was ordered with a salmon cooked medium, and it was not only full of flavor, but delicious! We ate outside, it was perfect. It seemed a little more noisy inside, so we opted for outside dining and didn't regret it at all. A little hint, we saved $25 on our order over $100, when we signed up for "in kind app" and it allowed us to pay for our bill thru the app. We'd also suggest making reservations either on open table or in-kind, otherwise you'll have to wait awhile for an open table. Overall, one of our favorite meals and service!

"Could I get you a refill?" "That sounds amazing thanks!" "Of course" And then charges me for the refill. This is the United States, why are we charging for refills? This is supposed to be a healthy restaurant, and it's in the center of the quarter so obviously it's going to be more expensive than other spots, which I am all for paying, but I do not like being screwed over and manipulated. Asking me if I want a refill, before my glass is even empty mind you, and then charging me for a second drink is theft. Never going back. The birds are cute though

Been ordering this for years and it always is amazing. Ask for miso glaze on side and your mouth will thank you. Best item on menu and amazing service! I was seated on patio outside during a perfect day!

*normally love Fox restaurants, but this location wasn't all that great. Loved that we got seated without a reservation, but the service was slow on a busy Friday night. Very lively atmosphere. Tried the air fried buffalo chicken tenders appetizer, but they weren't crispy. More soggy than anything and the chicken was cold upon delivery to our table. Tried the margherita pizza and pepperoni pizza, but both lacked flavor. Ranch dressing for dipping is very grainy. As we were walking past the host stand during our departure after dinner, the hostesses didn't even acknowledge us or say anything due to talking amongst themselves.

Worst food I've had for a while. Food doesn't look like the pictures in their website at all. Shrimp and chicken were sooo dry, turkey burger was flavorless. The burgers didn't come with any sides from the duo dinner, wasn't told or asked when we ordered.

Great Food, very healthy tasting, organic, GF, ect...definitely a great place to grab lunch /dinner. We were in & out especially if you sit at the bar & not waiting for a table.Parking can be a challenge at this location. Definitely park in the parking garage.True Foods restaurant was clean, simple decor, First Class service great menu & great vibe/energy..If you're a meat eater then you'll LOVE their hamburgers. :)

We end up here a lot for lunch, but I forgot to mention how fantastic it is at Christmas! With the heaters, you can sit outside all year long! I prefer an outdoor seat, and they are easy to come by *especially* with a reservation. I usually stick to a bowl, but the server recommended the lettuce wraps (we had already had the butternut squash and ricotta pizza for appetizer), and it was perfect! I got a PEA cocktail and it was amazing. My group refused to try it, but it really was a fanatically crisp drink. The butternut squash pizza continues to be a fave - I love that it's almond ricotta! The server was delightful that night, and the twinkle lights gave the "extra." It's a great place to go for a Friday lunch, or to take people who are in town on vacation, and then walk around the quarter after.

This place really understands Vegan needs! I am beyond impressed not only with the variety of items but the quality and thought they added to their menu, everything was beyond expectations. It is very hard to find places like this when traveling so i am extremely grateful to have found you and will definitely come back

True foods is one of my favorite places so I'm extremely disappointed in my last visit. We came in and sat in the high top bar area. We knew it would be a little slow because it was pretty busy, but it was extremely slow. My boyfriend ordered a steak salad, and i guess now they are cutting their steak in these tiny little chunks and there was barely any meat in the salad. We counted 5 little pieces for $8.50 extra. I ordered the chicken sandwhich, which was delicious, but when it came out, after waiting over 1.5 hours, there was a gross hair on my plate. I was starving at this point, so i asked for a new plate and new salad but took the sandwhich as is. My sister ordered a fruit bowl and muffin, and her fruit bowl never came off. People who sat after us got fed and paid before our food even came out. Even after such a long wait, hair on a plate, and being served last, the manager never even came to talk to us. Don't worry though, they took the fruit bowl off the bill since it never came. Really awful experience today.

The service was impeccable as usual! I was not impressed with the air fry fries! But my Turkey Burger was excellent The manager comped me a squash pie which was incredible! True foods always lives up to their standards!

I loveeeee True Food Kitchen. It is always my go to. Love the vibe, great service. Love to see James, Randon, and Ryan when I go. Looking forward to going again soon!

I like True Food Kitchen, but I do not think I agree on the prices for some of their menu items. $20 for a personal pizza is kind of pricey. You'd be lucky if you have a coupon for the buy 1 get 1 50% off. I ordered one of the newer pizzas - the sausage and bison with the egg on top. It was very delicious. The crust is made with sourdough which is my first and foremost most favored bread. However, a friend had also ordered a pizza, and there was hair in it on her first bite. The staff was very apologetic and made her a new one and even comped the pizza which was very sweet of them. Aside from that, it seems True Food Kitchen has very healthy options and would be a great place to go if you had any restrictions such as gluten, vegan, dairy free and so on. The two times I have been were for birthday get togethers so the space is big enough for parties to gather. If you sit outside, obviously beware of the bugs since your back is right up against the planter. Other than that, the aesthetic is very cute inside and out. And it is located right in the middle of the square with lots of shops and things to do!

First time ordering take out here and i must say I'm really happy and satisfied with my order. Literally one of the best chicken sandwich I've had. will definitely back soon!

Stopped in for dinner with some girlfriends. We came on a Wednesday night and it wasn't too busy, but I made reservations just incase because they had just launched their spring menu. That being said you could probably do without reservations on a week night. This is a great spot in the Biltmore to walk around and shop if you do have to wait for a table. We opted to sit outside to take advantage of the patio weather because was beautiful out. I did love the vibey, open concept of the inside though! The group all ordered different entrees so we could try a little bit of everything. Overall the food was decent, but for the price point (avg $18/dish) there was not anything that really stood out to me. Highlights: The hummus and pita (not pictured because we devoured the hummus too quickly!) and the desserts. The colossal cookie and the flourless chocolate cake were to die for. You need to try both! The menu is rather large so I'd come again to try some other items. I do appreciate their mission to using whole, natural ingredients!

Zero complaints. Got exactly what I wanted (side orders of proteins). Love that this restaurant cooks without seed oils. My meal left me feeling energized and ready for the day versus bloated and tired. Will 100% come back! Yum!

Had a disappointing experience with a takeout order a week ago (no avocado on the turkey burgers). Even more disappointing, though, is that I used the contact form on their website, which promises a reply within 72 hours, to tell them about it. Six days later, I am still waiting. Just thought they'd like to be aware of the issue so they can take steps to correct it but evidently they are not concerned.

First time here - I'm returning asap! Let me start off by saying that the food was amazing, it's very farm to table style. I also liked how the kitchen was visible! Everything is fresh and delicious. I got charred cauliflower to share with my mom, she got pesto pasta & I got the grilled chicken wrap. We both enjoyed what we ordered, especially the appetizer! The service was wonderful our waiter was attentive even though the restaurant was very busy! We went in the afternoon and it was crowded...I can only imagine during dinner time. The ambiance was great! I love that they also have a nice outdoor seating too.

Ordered delivery and received measly portions. French fries for my son was a half filled small container for $6.50. $20 salads in quart sized bowls and insult to injury a delivery fee for Uber eats?

I got takeout after shopping and ate it in my car before heading home. The salad was delicious and I appreciated they provided me with cutlery, napkins, a straw - everything I needed.

Healthy and oh so yummy!! Fall is back and so is their fall menu. Tonight we went with the Organic Tuscan Kale Salad, the Spaghetti Squash Casserole for me and my husband had the Lasagna Bolognese.Everything is so fresh and you don't feel guilty after this beautiful meal..

This is my wife's favorite restaurant we eat here multiple times a week. We love that it's healthy, but we love the friendly and professional staff & management most of all! There's too many names to name, they are super great we absolutely love them and the food!

My husband and I sat at the bar for a quick lunch and we had the best experience! It had such a fun, hip vibe in the restaurant but even more so at the bar. The bartenders were very attentive, friendly and great conversationalists (I'm a talker so I'm allllllll about it when bartenders want to talk and have good conversation :P). The best thing I have EVER had known to man is served here. THE EDAMAME DUMPLINGS. Get them. GET. THEM. I will forever continue going here for them until the day I die. We also had the Wild-Caught Tuna Lettuce Wraps which were refreshing and extremely flavorful (but not as much as the dumplings. Get those now. K thanks bye.)
