Just Finished breakfast at Hope Breakfast bar in Chanhassen. I ordered the house coffee and was amazed. I usually add cream because most coffees are acidic. Not this morning. This medium roast is smooth and I drank the entire Stanley thermos. I'll be ordering online today. God bless you and your business.

I still think about the first cup of Trustone I had years ago at a service event in St Paul. It floored me! I normally don't like coffee without a splash of cream, but their coffee was so smooth and decadent that it didn't need any.

This review pertains to True Stone Coffee Wholesale, NOT the True Stone Coffee Shop(s). Amazing Coffee 5 years ago! Now: average, and more expensive. When I first started buying coffee from True Stone 4/5 years ago, they would custom roast my coffee beans after I placing an order via the online store. If ordered before 10am, it would be arrive at my home in hand-sealed grocery store style bags the same day. A 16oz (1lb) bag of beans cost about $15 on average. The shipped box of beans would fill the whole house with the smell of fresh coffee. After receiving an order a few days ago, it had become apparent that True Stone is no longer the husband & wife business of the past. It has become a larger commercial enterprise. Prices have increased 25%, beans arrive in sealed "commercial" style foil-lined bags in 12oz portions, and do not smell or taste as fresh. In the past, I looked forward with anticipation to seeing (and smelling) that box of coffee on my front doorstep. Now... I think I'll just buy my beans from the local grocery store. I'm happy that a local couple were able to successfully build their small business into a successful operation, but the result was a decline in quality, and increase in price. In a City full of 'boutique' coffee roasters, True Stone once distinguished itself with amazing coffee that was always a special treat. Now they have become just another local brand, producing a product that is equivalent to all the other local brands.

We have been using True Stone Coffee at our coffee shop for years now, and I personally love it! They are great to work with, and the coffee always meets our needs perfectly. I love being adventurous and trying some new things. They have great service and always are very helpful in answering my questions (or finding the answer for me!). I buy their coffee myself and always recommend them to others!

I took a class of first year college students here as part of a class that explores coffee and ethical consumption. The staff and owner were EXCELLENT hosts. I've long loved True Stone coffee and it was a real pleasure to get a chance to do a cupping with the pros and see the operation in action. These folks are THE BEST.

I went to True Stone Coffee Roasters new coffee shop with a couple friends and wow. The best coffee I’ve had in a LONG time, and amazing service! It’s also super cozy and adorable inside, and has the cutest window seats you can sit on while drinking your coffee! Definitely my new favorite coffee shop!

Some of the best coffee in the Twin Cities comes out of this St Paul roaster. Hand crafted and in small batches. Super fresh and always roasted to order. Plus one of the hippest crews to boot.

I had breakfast this morning at The Eden Grill in Edina. Just a lowly school bus driver but I had the best coffee in a long time. When I inquired about the brand they told me True Stone. I never heard of it but I'll be in St. Paul tomorrow to buy some. A bag will be on it's way to my sister on Long Island as well. The post says Joan but this is Peter. I'm sure she'll like it as well.

Yelp
Ordered their coffee online after having it at a local restaurant. Love it! Don't know anything about the actual place just that their product is tasty!

Yelp
Accidentally stumbled into the Day 1 opening of the retail location of True Stone Coffee Roasters in St Paul today. Food menu won't be in full swing until next week but the cold brew, pour overs, coffee menu and whole bean options are fantastic. My personal favorite was the pour over. The aesthetic of the presentation put it over the top. Pay them a visit!

Yelp
Due to the pandemic, I haven't been able to visit the actual coffee shop in St. Paul. But, I have been ordering their coffee on-line for the past several months. It is terrific tasting coffee! First, ordering is easy, the delivery is quick, the roasting is fresh, and the feedback from the company is friendly and appreciative! I suggest you start with their "Flight Pack" and have the roasters pick. Try these small packets of different beans. Then, reorder a "Flight Pack" with different selections. That way you can sample all of their great coffees at home. Then decide on your favorite(s) and order a larger bag. You can't go wrong. Can't wait to visit the shop when this pandemic finally frees us to do so!

Yelp
Seriously, some of the best coffee I've ever had. Love their service and their kindness. Try the Ethiopian Yirgacheffe light roast! Absolute favorite. :)

Yelp
I was given some samples of True Stone coffee as a birthday present. All were really excellent but the Ethiopian Yirgacheffe blew me away. I like that they offer several different roast levels, as some craft roasters focus exclusively on light roasts. Can't wait to visit myself and pick out some new coffees!

Yelp
Other local roasters (D-w & P.C.) get much more press, but True Stone is much better - fresher and more flavorful. You also can't beat their turnaround time (I've gotten my shipment overnight!) or their very sweet customer service. This is pretty much the only coffee I brew at home now. :)
