I am going to try and make this long story short. We live about 12 hours away, my good friend was going to be in Denver for 2 days and I always raved about this cheese shop so she bought me a gift card with the intention of stopping by to pick up my favorite cheeses and bring them home to me. Right before she gets to town the store closes for walk in shoppers. She contacts the shop and the owner/manager Lisa states "no problem, I will make you a variety and drop it off at your hotel". The hotel was an actual 6 minutes away from the cheese shop. Lisa reaches out and states she has a family emergency and cannot deliver the cheese but she will ship it. Two days later she tells us both that the package has been shipped overnight. She does not provide a tracking number even though we asked for one. The box never shows up. We do live in a rural area and things are often a day or so late so we waited 4 days, but it has never appeared. Lisa then stated she will send out another box, a week later we got a text that she has shipped a second box of cheese (the first one is still lost to the universe). Despite asking for a tracking number four times, she either wouldn't respond or had an excuse about not having access to her desk, her computer, or the tracking number. When I expressed that not giving us a tracking number was maddening she stated that she initiated a refund for the money spent (despite not having access to her computer) . I guess it should surprise no one that the second box of cheese has never shown up either and when my friend called her credit card company to dispute the charges, the refund had not been initiated. I have no idea why you would lie about shipping a product that you never intended to ship. With management like this I do not expect the shop to be in business much longer, such a shame.

The service and charcuterie trays were excellent! Will continue to do business with these good people always.

Walked in yesterday totally ignorant about cheese and how they pair with beer. The guy there not only greeted and acknowledged me when I walked in, he also had amazing knowledge and patience to ensure I made the appropriate cheese and meats decision for several charcuterie boards I was assigned to prepare for my boss. Needless to say, I walked out feeling confident about executing my assignment, the boards turned out great and the boss is happy! Thanks Truffle Shop for making my cheese buying experience painless.

Just ordered a gift box for an engagement celebration for my son. I live in Virginia, saw this shop online, and liked the reviews. Truffle Cheese Shop did not disappoint. My sons were very impressed with the selection and variety. The woman who helped with with my order was thoughtful, professional, and obviously knows a lot about the product. I would not hesitate to call again. Thank you for making my son's celebration a success!! You guys are awesome.

I just left this store, and already felt the need to write a review. This place is absolutely delightful! And if it isn't the cheese and other products you're here for, than you should go for the friendly and welcoming atmosphere that these ladies provided. All three of the employees were not only getting over 100 charcuterie boards together, but answered my questions and made me feel right at home. Lisa and the girls there today, I will be coming back just to talk to you. Thanks for making my birthday super special. It really set the tone for my whole day!!!

Google
Made my order 2 weeks ago for my baby shower and confirmed yesterday that we would be able to pick it up at the designated time. When we showed up today, the shop was closed and we still haven’t been able to get ahold of anyone or received a call back. Super disappointed

Google
Loved this shop! Curious I wanted to make my own cheese board the people here were so kind and helped me with the cheeses 🧀 that would go well with red wine 🍷. The cheeses I purchased were - Guntensberg - Crottin de Champcol - and another peppercorn cheese (lost the lable) Goat Cow and Sheep cheese! I learned more about what cheese goes good with what and gained a bigger appreciation for smaller local businesses thanks guys you made my experience a memory ill cherish! 🤗

Google
Incredibly disappointing customer service and just generally shady and unprofessional on the business side. Editing to respond to the owner; You also said you'd get back to me, and never did, over a full week, despite several follow ups. That's unprofessional. You also didn't shut the class down on your website despite it being full, which means you'd presumably allow me or other people to pay for a class that is full and then move them to another class, which another reviewer wrote about you doing to them - twice. You told my husband there was a waitlist for a specific date, but you let people sign up assuming they're getting in on that date regardless. That's shady. Lastly, you are apparently able to respond within minutes to a review but unable to respond to a paying customer who emails you several times over a week. That's bad customer service. Maybe instead of being so quick to respond to bad reviews, you should take the common thread among all the bad reviews and work to improve on it.

Yelp
What a great little shop! Small, but plentiful! Came here on a WWP event to make mozzarella and burrata cheese! Ample street parking, even across the road, so no fret. Lisa was the curator for our cheese making experience. The shop has specialty cheeses that you won't find at your normal grocer, nor Whole Foods. They have imported retail shop such as olive oil, balsamic vinaigrette dressing, and more. Lisa was thoroughly and very knowledgeable. Who knew it would so easy and fun to make cheese! She also created us a charcuterie board for us to sample some of her cheeses. This little shop is so much more! Consider a class here or catering!

Yelp
I went here several times a month before the Covid19 pandemic. They barely stayed open with online takeout. The store is quite small. I came back to get several cheeses and maybe some sausage. They still provide free samples of every cheese and meats. They have mostly California meat products and a Spanish chorizo. After a sample, they asked if I want 10 slices. I said to slice 20. It was that good. I got 3 cheeses, an Irish vintage cheddar, a French Meunier Roquefort, and a Spanish Montelva Curado along with house made crostini and French toasts. Hopefully this will last a few weeks. They offer others accompaniments including cheese boards. They offering catering and classes.

Yelp
Lovely shop! We decided to bring a charcuterie board to our hotel and they really helped! They even kept the pickles and olives separate for the trip! Really enjoyed the selection they picked and that brie was amazing!!

Yelp
Always a lovely time at the Truffle Cheese shop. I stopped in the Saturday preceding Christmas, and it was predictably packed. Everyone was super cheerful, helpful, and friendly (patrons included) managing the semi-organized chaos of a pre-Christmas rush in such a small space. Despite showing up an hour before closing, just two days before Christmas, they still had a super huge selection. They're still making sure everyone gets samples, gets to try things to make sure they're taking home the right items for their board, party, etc. I effectively told them to gimme a dealer's choice on 5 meats and 4 cheeses to feed 7 people and boy did they deliver. They're great people, they have a really wonderful selection of tons of meats and cheeses, and they're patient and helpful and want to make sure everyone has everything they need. Such a great space and they're the only meat and cheese shop we go to!

Yelp
Amazing cheese shop ( and more ) a few blocks from my home. Needed to pickup some cheeses for a small get together and Rachel helped us. I truly love her passion and knowledge. Great selection of Italian, French , and other EU cheeses. Anything from super runny smelly ( yummy) to mild solid crowd pleasure cheeses. Great selection of Charcuterie meats and accoutrements to make your event shine. Crackers, breads, oils, spreads, etc etc I loved the almond and olive selection and very cool Honeycomb. If you want to rock your soiree....check these guys out.

Yelp
Utilized this shop for an event and honestly just want to prevent anyone from having the same experience we did. Communication leading up to the event wasn't just bad, it was non existent. Does not answer the shop phone or email, we had to physically go in person to demand answers to our questions about the event. We were assured all would be fine and to our expectations for the event despite the lack of communication, but it was not. The owner arrived hours late, did not have a fraction of what we had paid for (had ordered a raclette station for the party and she let us know only hours before the event she never secured raclette, didn't bring gluten free crackers, didn't bring the staff, etc), was completely unprepared and unprofessional, the cheese boards weren't ready upon arrival and she was so rushed the presentation of the boards were honestly horrible. We worked with her because she had assured us she had distributors that could get the very specific cheese we needed for our Switzerland themed event, but all her cheese was from Whole Foods. We had contracted there to be several employees during the event to work two separate stations that did not arrive so we needed to have our staff manning them. She almost started a fire and cut herself mid event and bled ON THE FOOD. After she left we were still cleaning blood up... Truly could not have gone worse. Do not work with this company it was the most unprofessional experience I've had in my 10+ years of events. Much better off going to St. Killians.

Yelp
Stopped in this weekend. I haven't been in a while. What a wonderful little cheese store! I wasn't sure what I wanted specifically, and the expert staff gave the best recommendations. I definitely will be back soon. Their Chorizo sausage was mild and flavorful at the same time. The Port Salut was the perfect flavor and creamy goodness! This place is a gem!

Yelp
The staff are so friendly and knowledgeable. The shop is tiny and I imagine the product availability , specifically the cheese and meats are dependent on catering orders. All of the salami was from US. The bread is from Marczyk and I wish they would get the bread from one of the local bakers like Reunion, Good Bread, etc. I also would love an olive display like the ones on the East coast. Once I mentioned that I like Munster cheese, Sam recommended an Oma from Vermont that was really good. I would go back and I would place an order.

Yelp
You should probably not come here. Because the cheese is really good. And so is the service. There goes all your money. Now you're poor. But you had the cheese. And damn, it was good.

Yelp
Rachel and Tyler helped me put together to medium sized platters for my mom's memorial. I gave them an idea of some of the cheeses and charcuterie that I preferred. Then I left it up to them to work, their magic, and boy did they! Included some of the most delicious flavors and combinations that I've had! They were great to work with, and I would totally recommend them to anyone!

Yelp
Unbelievably good! I have been looking for an aged Gouda called prima donna ever since they stopped carrying it at the grocery store. I was recently gifted a class with this cheese shop learning how to make a charcuterie board look fancy and this amazing cheese was included and paired perfectly with the bottle of wine they gave me. I was so impressed that I am going to do a similar event for my clients just before the holidays. They chose everything on our boards to pair perfectly and it made for a wonderful socially distanced event. I can't say more about their team and how helpful and kind they are as well.

Yelp
I am begging someone to open a competitive shop in the area. Great cheese that has only been available for purchase maybe 50% of the times I've visited. I am open to the possibility of having a particular brand of bad karma where they are only closed when I try to go, but I suspect others feel the same. It never fails... walked in today and the the owner turned me and four others away because she was leaving for a private event and the only one in the shop.

Yelp
Cheese tasting, check! Discovering international cheeses, check! Free bread baguette, yes please. While the price per pound of cheese is not el-cheapo, the selection and quality are totally worth it. My visit a couple weeks ago was excellent. The tall brunette gentleman who helped me was friendly and knowledgeable. He treated me really well and that made me spend more because I was enjoying his friendly service and cheese education. I didn't fee rushed to decide. He let me try as many as I wanted and I ended up buying 4 selections. But this hasn't always been the case here. I discovered the shop about 4 years ago when i moved to the area and from time to time I'd get this condescending attitude or I felt rushed from the employees. I understand that some people will stand there and just taste cheese for an hour and not buy anything. And yes you want to encourage sales. But there's a way to do this without making folks feel put off. I look forward to my next trip to the shop. Enjoy!

Yelp
We feel robbed - We paid for a LARGE charcuterie tray 4 days ago, and when we went to pick it up today, we were given a MEDIUM tray and were told that they ran out of large trays and packed everything into a medium tray. When I got home, I compared the tray we were given with the picture of the large tray that is posted in your website, and we definitely did not get the hat we paid for. We are very disappointed and wished we would have ordered somewhere else. Why didn't you call us to let us know that you didn't have large trays? You had 4 days to let us know. You waited until we showed up to give us a medium tray that cost us $160. We are about to receive our guests and we don't have enough charcuterie for our party of 18. We definitely won't be recommending your business.

Yelp
If you love cheese and haven't checked out Truffle Cheese Shop, do you even love cheese? So much to choose from, and they're just so friendly and helpful in here! They'll usually let you sample when possible (just the nature of some cheeses makes it not possible but also COVID has thrown us all for a loop). We usually order up a cheese board from them for parties and holidays, and they're so willing to walk you through and make suggestions, or, if you just want to let them go wild and pick everything for you, they're all about it. It just makes it easy. Don't waste your time shopping for cheeses at the large grocery chains - check out a small independent business with better cheeses and friendly people who know what they're doing. This is the cheese paradise, folks!

Yelp
Go see Rachel and trust her guidance! I'm a cheese novice and she is a Jedi. I gave her a budget and let her choose a selection of cheeses for a tray to please all palates. She let my daughter and me sample each as we went along and wow WOW W-O-W! Delicious! It will take all of my wallpaper to hold off on ripping through the paper to sample them again before the party. Thank you so much!!

Erika D.

Yelp
I booked a cheese class here and the owner canceled it last minute. She didn't even care that I drove 2.5 hours from Buena Vista to attend. I never heard from her again even though she said she would reach out to reschedule the class. I would never patronize this business or ever book a class here again. She didn't even apologize and only made up excuses. Terrible local business!

Barry C.

Yelp
It's hard to write a negative review for a small business that generally sells good products. I visit twice a month to pick up cheese and a baguette and typically spend close to $100 each visit. I don't expect special treatment, but no one knows me. They obviously don't have an effective POS system that would flag me as a "regular". But this is beside the point. This place doesn't exist to meet customer needs, it exists to sell it's products on its terms. Over the recent Christmas period their business hours were all over the damn place and the first week in January they were open for pre-orders only, whatever that means. I was recently in the store looking to add a baguette to the large order of cheeses I was collecting. There were about 20 baguettes in the basket behind the counter - they wouldn't sell me one because they were making up a catering order and didn't know how many they would need. Look - either make or order more baguettes. It's not rocket science. It's lots of silly things like this that just annoy you over time. So I'm done and won't be coming back. They sell better cheeses and baguettes that Wholefoods, but Wholefoods isn't bad and at least they are predictable.

Yelp
My husbands new fav place to buy cheese and pate.....pasta, and anything and everything we love. Brought home a sample of cheeses and pate's...was all an instant hit. So many choices...you have to try something new!

Yelp
OUTSTANDING! We just attended the cheese making class and had a blast. Lisa and Hunter are very knowledgable and you can tell they love what they do. The variety of cheeses is amazing. We plan to head back to get a charcuterie board. If you are a cheese lover this is a must visit!

M'Lisa G.

Yelp
Delicious! I have a go to for charcuterie but got invited to a last minute party and they weren't available :( but super glad I found Truffle cheese shop! Not only was I able to order this AMAZING AND DELICIOUS board within 6 hours- Sam emailed me to confirm dietary restrictions (nut allergy) and that the board would be ready and waiting for me at my pickup time. Didn't even have the chance to snap a picture of it without the cling wrap because it was eaten so quickly at the party. I ordered another board for my Thanksgiving party because those little red peppers are simply the best and I need them in my life again.

Edie R.

Yelp
What an amazing find! I ordered a small cheese mongers choice tray for book club and it was a hit. (My family and I are currently fighting to snatch leftovers!) Every single item on the tray from cheese to meats to fruits & nuts are superior quality. The baguette rivals what I had in Paris! The customer service is outstanding - from placing your order to delivery (a limited option I was able to use). If you want to impress your guests and delight their palates this is the place!

Yelp
All good things come to an end, sadly. Once again it appears that the shop has changed hands and not for the better. The selection has decreased, as evidenced by the nearly half sized retail area. The staff is less knowledgeable now and, frankly, they are rude. This is a neighborhood shop and they aren't very friendly or courteous. I live around the corner and used to come here 3-4 times a week. I now walk the extra 4 blocks to WF for my cheese. Very disappointing.

Yelp
Need something to add some swagger to a dinner party spread, or maybe you're just in the mood for a fantastic snack? Stop by The Truffle Cheese Shop! I've been in three times so far, and each time the staff has been incredibly helpful, accommodating, and very generous in their sample offering. When you walk in the shop, which is pretty small, you'll find yourself surrounded by cookies, crackers, candies, olive oils, mustards, jams... every garnish you can think of. It all seems to be of high quality, and everything I have tried so far has been wonderful. But, what you're really after are the refrigerated displays about ten feet in. Here, the staff houses their fantastic meats and cheeses. You'll find, I'd guess, over thirty different kinds of cheese and probably ten or so meats. Now, maybe you're not sure what you want, or would like to try something new but don't know much about cheese - just ask for a sample. The staff has always been very helpful at listening to my general taste, and then finding and recommending cheeses that I'll like. They are helpful, patient, and don't push you into making large purchases. Usually when I go in, I walk out with five or six small cuts of cheese, so I can enjoy the variety over the next week or so. Some of the cheeses are pricey, but if you only get a small wedge, you can end up with a great little cheese plate for $20 bucks or so. Oh, and don't forget to check out the cooler to the left of the main counters - more cheese! This is a wonderful little shop, and (along with EVOO downtown) will be my go-to place to buy gifts for those friends of mine who already have everything. Highly, highly recommended!!

Yelp
These guys are awesome! Hands down the best selection of cheeses, charcuterie and accouterments in Denver. Highly, highly recommend picking up a platter, or stopping in (when we are able to again) to pick up the necessities for your next cheese and charcuterie board. Extremely knowledgeable staff. Their classes are fun and informative. Their selection is hands down some of the best in the city. Cannot recommend them enough.

Yelp
RACIST OWNERS UNBELIEVABLE!!!!!!!!! I DON'T CARE ABOUT YOUR PERSONAL EXPERIENCES. IT IS MY RIGHT TO REVIEW THIS COMPANY AS I HAVE EXPERIENCED IT!!!!! I don't care how great the quality of the products are if the service is as awful as the service I've received from the very first time I visited the Truffle Cheese Shop. Andrew was very nice and helpful. However, no one else greeted me and it wasn't a busy time. Another brown woman walked in and she was not greeted either. I noticed that all of the other customers were being greeted. Because of Andrew and the quality of the products, I decided I would overlook the rude service and treatment of the other workers.... One day I visited the Truffle Cheese Shop and Andrew wasn't. When I walked in I wasn't initially greeted and the gentleman that was there did help me. I said hello when I first entered the shop and the other two women behind the counter looked at me and then looked at each other and exchanged looks that were not very welcoming. Then to further it, I was asking Kaitlin a question because she was in the shop the last time I was there and she blatantly ignored me, looked at the other girl that was behind the counter that didn't even work there and rolled her eyes. And then looked back at me as if she didn't hear what I asked. Fast forward to date, the owner, Karen decided to "confront" me (yes, confront me!!!!!!!) about my post on Yelp (yes, the post that i have the freedom to write). She was rude/condescending in front of all of the staff member. Her voice was raised a few decibel and she was completely out of line. She humiliated me in the middle of the shop so yes I got very upset and I let her know that my conclusion is that this shop has a racist owner and a few very rude staff members. Every customer should be treated nicely regardless of the color of their skin. Every time prior to the blatant mistreatment that I have experienced at this shop, I have been nice and polite. Even today I was initially very nice and polite with the goal of getting what I needed and getting out. I DO NOT CARE HOW GREAT THE QUALITY OF THE PRODUCTS ARE. CUSTOMER SERVICE IS A PART OF QUALITY AND I AM STILL IM SHOCK THAT THE OWNER OF A SHOP WOULD TREAT A CUSTOMER THAT WAY!!!! And publicly!!!!!!!!!!! I will be calling the news as well.

Yelp
This place is top-notch...I can't believe we didn't know it existed earlier! My boyfriend and I entered The Truffle Cheese Shop looking to get a variety of cheeses and meats to make our own charcuterie board. This is the perfect place to do this! The two people working here were so friendly and helpful. We told them what we were trying to do with the charcuterie board and so they gave us little samples to help us choose our cheeses. The way they package the cheeses and meats is so nicely-done, and we were in heaven eating these treasures. They're high-quality and well-selected. Next time we'll likely get some of their olives, too. Take note that they also sell specialty items such as cognac mustard, specialty jelly, cognac pate, truffle seasoning, premium olive oil, pasta and more. These are great fixings to gift to a foodie or to bring to a friend's house! Denver needs more shops like this. Super impressed. We're going to make this place a regular stop :)

Yelp
4 years later and I still LOVE this place! Best cheese shop in denver. They have the most interesting cheeses. The staff are friendly and helpful but not overbearing. It has that great cheese smell when you walk in... because it's the real deal. So happy denver has had this shop for so many years now!!

Yelp
This place is absolutely amazing for cheese! After honeymooning in France and eating all the best possible cheese/meat the truffle cheese shop is a local godsend!!! All the cheese is imported from different countries there is such a wide variety I don't think I've had a cheese from here that I did not love. All the people who work here are always so friendly, nice, and knowledgeable just makes you want to spend more time here. They have the best fresh baguettes and bread! The only thing I want from the truffle cheese shop is another location in Aurora either way you've got a lifelong customer here ‍

Yelp
So The Truffle has been one of our favorite places for many years. The owners and staff are fantastic and take the time to offer samples, suggestions, build beautiful trays. They really know their cheese, amongst many other culinary things. Every visit is unique and you feel like one of a very special family. Consistently highest marks...

Yelp
What a gem! I love cheese and gourmet cheese in my neighborhood sounds great! We were greeted by such a friendly worker who offered us so many samples of cheeses that we HAD to buy something. From aged cheese, goat cheese, mixture of hard and soft cheeses, etc. You want it? They got it. They also have selections of spreads, jams, chocolates, crackers, teas, and imported gourmet foods too.

Yelp
The first time I came to this shop, I loved it! I love cheese and salami, so I was excited to discover this store during my last trip to Denver. As soon as I walked in, I was greeted warmly and offered samples, helping me discover some cheeses I had never had before. 15 minutes later I walked out with $35 worth of cheeses from all over the world packed in a bag with ice packs to keep them cold. Naturally, when I came back to Denver, this place was a "must" stop for me, even 20 minutes out of the way. Unfortunately, my experience this time was not as good. I arrived 45 minutes before the store was closing and the girl that helped me seemed annoyed when I didn't like the first three cheese she suggested and not so subtly asked me how much I intended to buy. I had planned to buy more but this turned me off so I quickly selected four cheeses and a salami and left. While I may not know all the nuances of each cheese I do know what I like and am willing to pay for it. I spent $30 but had I felt more welcomed I would have taken more time to select other cheeses. I love this shop and the cheeses they carry (my favorites are the stinking bishop and sottocenere). My intention was to purchase some cheese to enjoy the few days I'm in Denver and place a larger order to be shipped to California, but unfortunately I was not made to feel that my business was desired or appreciated. I still give this store 4 stars because of its selection and my previous experience, but I am not sure if I will make a point of coming back next time.

Yelp
I come in fairly regularly and always find good service and terrific options. But this past weekend, my husband and I picked some sort of alpine style cheese that is genuinely great. What is it? I want more of it. Love this place. Sometimes the employees (one in particular) act a little dickish (bro, you think you know cheese? Whoa. Cool, bruh. It's cheese.) but otherwise, you'll get what you want. Despite the snobby attitude, great joint.

Yelp
I am so grateful my friend recommended Truffle Cheese Shop to me! I am planning a wine tasting anniversary dinner for my husband and serving cheese as the first course. I reached out to Lisa over email and she quickly responded with her curated list of recommendations. I then called to place the order and just picked them up. They currently offer curb-side pickup during the pandemic. All you need to do is call them when you arrive outside the store, and they will bring your order out to you. Shop local and try this amazing cheese shop! Can't recommend the customer service enough!

Yelp
Is there a happier place on Earth? I think not. When I'm feeling down (or a bit peckish) The Truffle is a place that is sure to brighten my mood. Their selection of cheese is outstanding, and their daily sandwiches are an amazing treat - I wonder if they'd let me move into the back? While some cheese places make you feel a bit uncomfortable if you aren't a true connoisseur, all of their staff is so excited to share their knowledge with you when you come in, you feel at home immediately. I've learned a lot about charcuterie and cheese from their staff during my stops, and I feel like I'm always finding some excuse to pop in. Great selection, great staff, wonderful place to pick up a last-minute gift or bit of something to bring to a dinner party.

Yelp
I'm out of state, but I ordered a gift basket from Truffle Cheese a couple of weeks ago and was blown away by the way Lisa and her team bent over backwards to make everything happen for me. They were all helpful, extremely responsive, and they went above and beyond to help me. Best of all, my friend was very pleased with her gift! I'm told everything was beautifully wrapped, delivered precisely on time, and very delicious! (The wine in the basket was even pre-chilled--such a nice touch!) Next time I'm in Denver, I'm beelining it to Truffle--this place rocks!

Yelp
Just went to a cheese making class last night and it was SO FUN!!! The cheese was delicious and I can't wait to make some at home. The cheese mongers were incredibly knowledgeable and I learned a lot. I highly recommend the class!!!

Yelp
My go-to place for picking up delicious cheeses and fancy pants truffles! The truffle cheese shop is definitely a hidden gem in the rough. Tucked away in a shop in cherry creek north up on 6th ave, this shop has everything to satisfy your inner indulgences. A couple weeks ago, I had this MONSTER CRAVING for some delicious truffle mac and cheese. I had been saving some dry aged steaks at the house I wanted to cook for dinner that night, so I didn't feel like going out to eat to tame my growing urge for some cheesy truffley goodness. The girls at the truffle cheese shop instantly knew what I needed and hooked me up with said ingredients to make the magic happen. It was in-between truffle season (very sad indeed), however, I was recommended a jar of truffles in olive oil to sprinkle on top once my truffle mac and cheese was finished baking. The shop girl also recommended this melty, gooey, spreadable cheese to mix with my pasta and give it that perfect consistency. Needless to say - the finished result was THEBOMB.COM This is the go-to place for anyone looking for great fresh cheeses and any other luxury goods to serve or cook with. They carry different olive oils (some infused, some freshly pressed), chocolates for when you want that sweet craving after your savory cheeses, and of course when in season TRUFFLES!!!

Yelp
I've been to this cheese shop twice, once last fall while I was in the area for a couple of months, and once this fall while I've been here for three months. Both times, I was with my daughter who is a Cheesemonger and cheese-maker herself. And I lived in France for 10 years, so I am very experienced with cheese as well. The problem with this place was not their selection of product. We were happy with that. And the first time we were in the shop, the people who worked there were welcoming and friendly. But when we were there a couple of months ago, the staff member who first helped us was condescending and haughty. She didn't know anything about what our experience with cheese was. But even if we were newbies--especially if we were newbies--she should never have treated her customers this way. It's like people who are wine snobs and make other people feel inferior about their wine knowledge--and that they don't know enough to appreciate and enjoy drinking a glass of wine. Give me a break. Besides that, if you can't not act like your customers are know-nothings beneath you then you don't need to have customers. So next time we're in the area, we won't be. BTW, when she found out what our experience with cheese was, she tried to suck up. Too little, too late. And as I said before, if we were cheese newbies, how ridiculous to be treated with such disdain. I would never darken her door again in that instance either.

Yelp
I didn't know what to expect when I wandered into this cute, little shop, other than the signage suggested meats and cheeses, which are among my favorite things. Inside I was greeted by a beautiful woman who gave me samples and dropped her supreme knowledge about all things cheese, like a professor of yumminess. I was in absolute awe of her, and had to stop her from teaching me anything more, as I would have kept purchasing beyond my means. With four wedges of milky wonder and a baguette in hand, all that was needed was the perfect bottle of wine... The Truffle Cheese Shop was amazing. The service was above and beyond. I can't wait for my next crash course in yum there.

Yelp
It tingles, it itches, it arouses, it puckers, it pinches, it lingers, it flows, it crumbles... I hate this place for one reason: I always walk in expecting to get myself one little present for that evening and I always leave with a salumi platter and cheese plate combination, and maybe a bottle of olive oil (and a bar of some ridiculous chocolate for good measure). You can get it all at the truffle, especially if you don't even ask for it. I like that both Hugh at St. Killian's and The Truffle now record our past purchases, but the Truffle's customer service is really unbeatable. A mild interest in Manchego, for example, turns into a fabulous sensory foray into La Mancha complemented by a full exploration of Spanish sheep's milk possibilities: a revelation. I shift right to pay my bill and all of the sudden sliced satiny pork fat is melting over my tongue. When I awake I'm standing outside that slim yellow awning wondering what happened and peering into my brown paper sac at the dozen white wrapped presents I will rediscover all over again this coming evening. Without Jim, my favorite smiling cheese monger, the Truffle is going to really have to step up its game, but I have faith that the Truffle will be inducing cheesegasms for many years to come.

Yelp
I like my cheeses like I like my men--strong, a little strange, and seductively bold--and the selection at The Truffle Cheese Shop does NOT dissappoint. Actually, this place makes me feel like I might need some alone time ;) Moving on... I primarily love this place because of the cheeses, but that's not the only reason to visit--the employees are incredibly knowledgable and have no problem serving you as many samples as you desire (which makes me feel kinda special). They also offer high-quality cured hams, jams, olive oils, and pate--all yummy and worth the hefty portion of paycheck I'm about to drop....

Yelp
Not a huge selection. But delicious Dutch butter, and what looks to be homemade fig jam. Very small shop. The man that works behind the counter is very kind. Did not have an issue parking. Not many things to buy like some other cheese shops. (Such as; Non food items).

Yelp
I LOVE this place! There's nothing like really good cheese, a baguette and a bottle of wine to put me in my happy place. They are extremely knowledgeable and love to give samples. I've walked in saying, "I'm looking for something nutty and with truffles" and walked out with a truffled aged Gouda. And it was very gouda! Now they have a program where they can track what you buy so the next time you go in and say, "I'd like more of that white cheese I bought two weeks ago." they know exactly what you want. They also have many gourmet foody items as well. I went looking to buy some manchango for a manchango, serrano ham, quince paste appy and was delighted to find everything in one spot!

Yelp
Not too long ago, the Truffle Cheese Shop helped my husband and I have the perfect Sunday afternoon. That's because our perfect Sunday afternoon involves delicious meats, cheeses, spreads, crackers and other goodies to gnaw and nibble on throughout the day. The staff was incredibly knowledgeable and helpful in recommending several cheeses and cured meats, letting us sample each one and giving us time to ooh and ahh and mull over the options. Everything in this shop is expertly curated--from the aforementioned meats and cheeses to French butters to artisan sodas to adorable, individually wrapped almond cookies. We're super lucky to have the Truffle Cheese Shop in our neighborhood, and I cannot wait to have more cheese-filled Sundays.

Yelp
Can't say enough good things about the Truffle. Amazing cheese selection, extremely knowledgeable and kind staff, free samples, other sweet and savory treats. I just love this place. It has a narrow storefront, so look for the yellow awning and bright yellow door. Equally perfect for when you're entertaining, or need to bring hostess gifts, you can find what you need here from bread to crackers to quince paste to olives to sweets. Outside of the cheese, you must try: -Amarena cherries -Porchetta (two pork loins, wrapped in pork belly (think bacon) with lots of rosemary and sage, tiedup like a Christmas present and then roasted until golden brown and delicious)

Yelp
When a culinary student from Johnson & Wales tells you to check out a cheese shop, you don't question him. You go. You go quickly. The Truffle is a hidden gem. The first to review this place was right - you are almost knocked over by the power of smelly cheese when you walk in - in a good way! There is SO MUCH CHEESE. The owner was there and he gave us a fantastic tour of the place, not to mention samples galore. And dude, the guy knew his cheese. We walked out of there with some orgasmic gorgonzola and sharp cheddar. If you are a fan of cheese, you must visit this place. And invite me. And buy me stinky cheese. Just a tip: This place can be easy to miss. Its storefront is exceptionally narrow. If you miss it the first time, keep looking. It's definitely worth your time.

Yelp
Over the last seven months, Cherry Creek's Truffle Cheese Shop has taken care of our fromage cravings. If we are planning a drive from Colo Spgs to anywhere near the southeast Denver area, we make it a point to pack a small cooler and set aside 20-30 minutes for tastings and purchasing about 1lb total of cheese. This past Saturday was no exception. Upon walking through the door (which is kept shut), the aroma of cheese is heavily suspended in the air. Special events and selected cheese are scribbled on a hanging chalkboard. Around the small shop are non-cheese items made locally and/or imported from Europe, including crackers, spreads, olive oils, carbonated drinks, etc. Up front, display cases show off the exotic-sounding creations, and knowledgeable employees slice off slivers of samples of whatever you want to try. Often one of the owners are there as well (and I think they recognize us now), and they are super helpful if they're not busy. Parking is on the street or in the 3-car lot on the side of the building. Prices are in line if you're used to paying for slightly-more expensive gourmet cheeses at Whole Foods or even King Soopers. Their selections vary daily, so on each visit we get to try new cheeses! Thankfully they so far have had on hand our favorite cow-cheese, Prima Donna. Our other new favorite is the Carboncino, but we've only been able to get that once, while we have been able to buy the Roomano Pradera twice in the past. From discussions with servers at our favorite restaurants, we've found that many of their cheeses are sourced from the Truffle Cheese Shop. These restaurants have included Fruition, 1515, Bistro Vendome, Rioja, Village Cork, Rootdown, and many others! Not only will restaurants buy a large amount of their cheese, but also on Saturday, we noticed a female customer had ordered one of Truffle's large cheese platters, and the owner helped carry it out to her car. We left the store this time with 3 great selections. And it was good to see a steady stream of customers going through that door. I wish we had this store in Colorado Springs, but I guess our market just isn't ready for something like this.
