The Hottest New Brunches to Try Around D.C.

"Green Pig Bistro officially bid adieu to its original home on Sunday, September 29, but the neighborhood standby quickly reopened nearby in October. Brunch favorites are back on weekends (10 a.m. to 3 p.m.), with its iconic, sweet-and-savory stuffed waffles making a comeback. There’s also plenty of pork-filled options, of course, including pork medallions served with eggs and hollandaise sauce or stacked into an eggs Benedict and covered with bearnaise sauce . A smoky Old Fashioned and apple-filled summer sangria round out the brunch drinks." - Tierney Plumb, Emily Venezky

I had an absolutely phenomenal experience at Truffle Pig in Steamboat Springs, and it’s hands-down a 5-star spot! Nestled right at the base of the ski area, the location is unbeatable—perfect for a post-slope meal or a cozy evening out. The atmosphere strikes a perfect balance between upscale and welcoming, with stunning views of Mount Werner and a lively patio that’s ideal for soaking in the mountain vibes. The food was nothing short of spectacular. I tried the Truffle Pig Bacon Burger, and it might just be the best burger I’ve ever had—juicy Kobe beef, aged cheddar, and those famous truffle fries that live up to the hype with their crispy, flavorful perfection. The Mussels and Fries were another highlight, served in a cast-iron pot with a garlicky white wine sauce that I couldn’t get enough of. And the Baby Beet Salad? Fresh, vibrant, and beautifully balanced—a total treat for the senses. The service was top-notch, with staff who were attentive, friendly, and clearly passionate about what they do. The cocktail menu is a standout too—creative and expertly crafted, with options like the Battle of the Agaves that paired perfectly with the meal. Truffle Pig nails every detail, from the farm-to-table ingredients to the warm, inviting vibe. It’s a must-visit in Steamboat Springs—I’m already looking forward to my next trip back!

We had a wonderful experience at Truffle Pig. It was a much needed date night dinner for Mom and Dad. We were treated like royalty. The service, food, and atmosphere were top notch. Each dish was prepared with fine detail and garnished very beautifully. With each bite we didn’t want the meal to end. The server was very knowledgeable when it came to questions on the menu, what drinks would pair best with each dish, and was always one step ahead of our needs. We enjoyed the patio which faced the ski area base and was stunning from the moment we sat down until we departed. We will definitely be back to try more items on the menu. The coconut soup, pork belly, red snapper and pork osso bucco, were all outstanding! We finished the meal off with their chocolate galaxy. So amazing, we had to take the rest home. You must try Truffle Pig!

Google
Very fun menu, lots of options. The food was remarkable, but if you have kids with you the kids menu is very expensive and does not have great options. They would not bread a chicken breast, so if you have picky eaters this is not a spot for kiddos. I had the burger and it was super yummy. Service was nice. Thankfully they were open later than the other restaurant in the area.

Google
Visited Truffle Pig for dinner with my son. It’s a very nice restaurant with great ambiance and decor. Appetizers were great. We tried foie gras and pig cheeks. Super. Amazing desert “chocolate Galaxy” The main dishes were good not great. And kinda expensive. We had a great time.

Google
Visiting from out of town and had a list of where we wanted to try. To be honest, Truffle Pig wasn’t on the list. We stumbled into it while waiting for the sunset happy hour and had a few drinks. It was fantastic (get the strawberry margarita with tajin) -and we came back for dinner. I’m so glad we didn’t miss it, it ended up being one of our favorite meals we had the entire trip. The burger with bacon jam was amazing, as well as the bolognese. To top it off, Clint was the friendliest bartender and we couldn’t have asked for better service. We will definitely be back next year.

Google
Had a lovely meal on the truffle pig patio Thursday night. The food and drinks were great (we had blantons OF and a lavender flip) and it was so relaxing and nice. We went for drinks and ended up ordering food. Server was friendly and attentive and brought our granddaughter’s food out right away. (Veronica was our server).

Had a great time dining here for 3 out of my 5 nights while in Steamboat. I only intended to go there one night for dinner but the food and staff were too good to pass up! Ashley in particular was the one who took care of me from behind the bar each night and was extremely friendly and welcoming. She took the time to talk to me and get to know me as well as was always checking in on me or even simply making the effort to acknowledge me when she passed by. All of the other employees were great as well! Even though I was being served by Ashley other bartends and severs asked me how I was doing when they came behind the bar. The food and drinks were also some of the best I’ve had in Steamboat as well and are definitely worth the price for the quality and amazing presentation. During my three visits there I had the Scallops, Scottish Salmon, and Halibut and while all were 5 star meals the salmon was definitely my favorite as it’s my favorite type of fish. I originally intended to visit a different restaurant with my family on the last night of the trip but when Ashley mentioned the Halibut to me after remembering I had seafood the previous 2 visits I couldn’t pass up the recommendation.

Google
Visited this place with a friend last week, and it was an amazing experience! Delicious food, a great atmosphere, and excellent service made our evening special. The reasonable prices were a nice bonus. Definitely coming back!

Yelp
The truffle pig is goated for apres! Conveniently located at the bottom of the steamboat gondola, you can walk over and leave your skis/board on the ramp. Nothing is better than some HH house margaritas on the patio reminiscing the days activities. The service is friendly and does well to keep up with the steady influx of guests. I truly can't say enough about the happy hour, great prices especially for a mountain restaurant. Cheers! HH 2-4 and HH on the patio only from 4-5:30.

Yelp
We stopped in Truffle Pig after a morning on the slopes to enjoy some lunch. We ordered the adult grilled cheese, which came with a tomato bisque soup. We also decided on the Italian sliced beef sandwich, and upgraded to the truffle fries. As you can see, the portions are huge and the food is delicious. Although a little pricey, it's expected based on their location at the base of the ski slopes. Next time, we plan on hitting the Apres Ski specials a little later in the day, as the prices were much better and menu options looked awesome. Give Truffle Pig a try when you're in town!

JB W.

Yelp
Staff pretty rude...at least the blonde waiter/staff w long hair. Don't know his name. Def never returning.
google avatar

Ty H.

Yelp
We had the mushroom soup which was amazing. Very thick and very flavorful. It needed no seasonings. I had the Wagyu burger again and it was phenomenal again. We sat at the bar and the bartenders were great. What a great night with great food.

Yelp
Best octopus, wagu beef in pasta., awesome service.. and lauren the bartender is the best drink maker.

Colorado K.

Yelp
Cocktails, wine list and food was great. Fantastic servers. Best to make a reservation.

Robbie B.

Yelp
Amazing food great steak, cool ambiance, highly recommend! But "yes always a but" if you get the bison carpaccio, be warned you will $h!t your pants while snowboarding in the trees the next day 10/10 don't recommend, but high five to goretex for keeping it contained and merino wool for making a nice balaclava to clean up with.
google avatar

Rachel T.

Yelp
Loved the easy, non pretentious atmosphere at the bar (thanks John for the extra whipped cream!). The food is simply overpriced but doable at happy hour - and the truffle fries, at $12 for HH are worth a try (3-4 ppl could easily split).

Matt ..

Yelp
Could have saved a lot of money and had a better tasting meal if I just went and ate food out of a trash can somewhere. Check the trash can outside this place, it's filled with to-go containers from this place, including ours. I'm assuming they did what we did and throw the food we couldn't finish in the first trashcan they could find. Save your money, you'll be terribly disappointed.

Yelp
Came here for an early dinner. Made a reservation bc this place gets super busy on the weekends. They have happy hour from 2-4 pm. We just missed their happy hour bc our dinner reservation was at 4:30 pm. Got their bison carpaccio to start which was flavorful and had a hint of truffle. I got the prime rib for dinner. It was cooked perfectly and seasoned well. My friend got their mushroom ravioli and added shrimp. The ravioli had a ton of sauce on it that you could not see the ravioli but my friend said it tasted good. Service was great and our waiter was attentive. For the food, the prices are on the heftier side for the food that you get.

Jay N.

Yelp
Got off the mountain, and couldn't have asked for a more delightful experience. Stopped in for a couple drinks, but the lovely bartender Lauren talked me into the seared elk loin. I'll be back.

Phil C.

Yelp
Fantastic! Can't say enough good things about this place. Lauren made us terrific Basil Hayden Manhattans and recommended the pan seared duck breast! They knocked out of of the park. Can't wait to go back.

Yelp
Fabulous food, and service by Jess. Field Salad was my absolute favorite. Make sure you make a reservation.

Ritu R.

Yelp
Average experience! The food was not anywhere near what we were expecting but overall positive experience nice service not too crowded in the space was fine, but the food was not memorable. It wasn't awful. We went here for our anniversary dinner based on the hype.
google avatar

Lilly P.

Yelp
I have been to this restaurant two times. The first I remember it being amazing. I split the prime rib with my mom and it was cooked to perfection. I have since returned for a second time, now 2 years later. In my opinion, this restaurant is very overpriced for what you get. The food was okay, but nothing spectacular. The service and atmosphere was good. The convenience to the mountain is nice, but there are better restaurants at a similar price point or less to try in downtown steamboat.

Kalli P.

Yelp
I love this restaurant! This place exposed my family to truffle fries many many years ago and we have yet to find a place that rivals them. Such delicious food! This time, we had the prosciutto wrapped duck, coulotte steak, panzanella salad, and finished with the key lime tart dessert. The restaurant was very busy due to the season, but our server did an amazing job staying on top of it. Wish we had a truffle pig where we live!

Yelp
We came here after skiing for dinner. Due to COVID we could dine indoors and the tables are just spaced out more. We got some cocktails to starts and some appetizers (shrimp and shishito peppers). As I can't do gluten but wanted a healthy option I went With the sea bass with out soy sauce. Fish was perfectly cooked and food was plated attractively. The only thing I didn't love, outside of it's presentation, was the rice. It was presented as a pyramid But it was really dried out. My friend got the same fish without holding the sauce and she felt the same so it wasn't an issue with my specific dish. Our waiter was awesome, even suggesting a bottle that was a special price that we loved. Overall a good experience although don't expect a bargain in a resort area.

Yelp
I wanted to eat at the Truffle Pig since our last year's vacation. Hostess was lovely and helpful. However, since I wanted to eat outside on the deck, I had to go to the bar and order. I waited for quite awhile as the bartender chatted endlessly to another customer...not about food nor drink. The food was fine and delivered quickly. No one came to check if I was ok. Then I waited at the bar again for quite a long time to get my check and pay the bill. The bar was not busy, I was just not a priority. This was my "treat" away from the kids, and I had high expectations and was unfortunately let down. For the price I expected better service. Maybe it was just one "not with it" bartender...but unfortunately for The Truffle Pig, I will always remember how she made me feel, not good. If you treat your customers like a problem, the problem will just go away.

Yelp
Summer visit- Great patio (was on a wait). Inside has a neat vibe as well. Unique menu with a decent array of what I call "foodie" offerings. Prices were on the high side so that's the only reason I'm giving them 4stars. We enjoyed the marcona almonds, scampi pasta, truffle pig salad and the organic Scottish salmon. I didn't care for the glazes and sauces added to many things- especially because they were Asian flair which isn't my fave because of the sugar and soy. We were able to get the sauce on the salmon placed on the side. The salmon was otherwise delectable as was the pasta- it tasted house made! They have a significant list of whiskey for those who are interested. Good cocktail list as well- some prohibition style cocktails. I tried the lavender flip but it was sweeter than I preferred. It's convenient to the slopes being located at the bottom.

Yelp
Great place at the bottom of the mountain. Great menu for lunch with a great bar. The service was in great both days we went. Hannah was such a pleasure and was top of everything, she made great suggestions and was a pleasure. Indoors and outdoors, great views highly recommend this place.

Yelp
Great night out and wonderful food. Our family loved it. Romantic dinner in Steamboat Square and the date appetizer was delicious!

Yelp
I had an awesome dinner here. Bacon wrapped dates were tasty, the Navajo bread was delicious, the mango chutney was perfect flavor for this. I had the short rib entree and everything about it was amazing. I can't wait to come back.

Yelp
Very good. Great food with a great view. Staff were attentive and friendly. Fun atmosphere as well. Good gathering spot after a day on the mountain.

Yelp
WOW! Seriously...WOW! I've been to Steamboat several times in the past, but for some reason, never been here for dinner. Well, we made up for that mistake by dining here twice on our ski vacation. It's located right in the "village", on the way to the gondola, so I imagine it's a hot spot for Apres ski, lunch, etc. Being right on the mountain, it also gets crowded for dinner, so understand that going in. Service was a bit slow, but without reservations, one shouldn't complain and actually should be happy just to get a table. 1st night, I had the bison carpaccio to start, along with my usual perfect Belvedere martini with blue cheese stuffed olives, served straight up, or "wet" as bartenders refer. As a note, when a restaurant makes me the perfect martini, I know we're off to a great start. Carpaccio was Awesome! I mean, AWESOME! For my entree, I had the Alaskan Halibut, and again, this thing was truly AMAZING! It came with a very unique "carrot ginger miso puree" that was simply divine. I had to ask our server exactly what that puree was, as I had never tasted such a wonderfully unique flavor. Easily 1 of the very best Halibut dishes I've ever had. 2nd night ( last night of our trip) was a no brainer, as I remember seeing several items I was dying to try. I'm a huge octopus guy, but far too often, I'm left way underwhelmed with tough meat and a lackluster presentation. Not this time, Thank God! This octo was fantastic. Very tender, great presentation with a watercress salad in the middle with Creme Fraiche. So good! For my entree, I had to go for the Braised Beef Short Rib. This was served over garlic "smashers", with a red wine rosemary reduction, and topped with crispy "tobacco" onions, which were very, very good. The shorty was super tender and flavorful, and that reduction sauce was super rich and wonderful. We had a 2 party and we spent just under $600, including tip for the 2 dinners, which may sound expensive. OK, it is expensive, but I'll tell you what...it was well worth that price, as both nights were dinners I will remember the rest of my life and I look forward to heading back to Steamboat next season and enjoying another dinner at Truffle Pig.

Yelp
We chose this restaurant as it was nearest to our hotel. It was the best choice! We were pleasantly surprised by the atmosphere and quality of food we received here. For 2 people we shared a Mac and cheese appetizer - absolutely delicious, tasted restaurant style and not gooey and homey like boxed Mac and cheese. We also shared some giant shrimp cocktail - tasted nice and fresh! We ordered a delicious bottle of Zinfandel, and were happy to hear we could take it home as we did not finish it at dinner. Finally. We split the New York steak strip which was perfectly done and very Smokey. We would definitely come back!
google avatar

Jack G.

Yelp
Great spot! Cheapest happy hour you'll find on any mountain. $6 buffalo trace?! Excellent selection of bourbon, wine and tequila. Pairs great with the wonderful food. A+
google avatar

Dennis F.

Yelp
Excellent food and service close to the gondola. Comfortable environment. Nice ambiance.

Justin C.

Yelp
If you like extremely overpriced food and terrible service, then this is the place for you! As for me, there are simply too many great food options in Steamboat to ever frequent this place again. I've never seen service so poor, and then I don't know if it was the manager or owner, but talk about an arrogant person--which seems to rub off on the employees. Trust me--don't waste your time or money here!
google avatar

Peter P.

Yelp
There were peanuts in the foie gras which could have killed one of our companions. No warning. Just said "chef's daily preparation". We spent $700, the manager didn't care. When I brought this up to the manager he said there's "plenty of allergies out there" as though it was her fault for having a peanut allergy. We almost had to use the epi pen, and it could have been a trip to the emergency room Also, didn't have the bottle of wine we ordered so the manager brought out a substitute. He then put both of the bottles on the check, didn't apologize for the mistake. It's a good thing we looked at the bill. It's a good thing we all got home alive. Peanut allergies are no joke. This is wreckless and they could kill someone. Any restaurant worth its salt should know better. Don't kill your customers. Better to send them home hungry. Would not come back.

Yelp
Such an amazing restaurant. Amazing food, stellar wine program, killer cocktails, excellent cocktails, great service. Give my highest recommendation and I eat out a LOT!

Kelly P.

Yelp
Ate at Truffle Pig for happy hour after a couple of hikes on the mountain. Our server, Brooke was so friendly and helpful. The portions were amazing and the food was crazy top notch for such a great happy hour deal! Wish we lived here so we could eat here all the time. This place is a definite must. We ordered beer, wine, and a martini. Had the truffle fries and split the wagyu burger. Beyond good! Love the Grateful Dead music and decor as well.

Mary L.

Yelp
Worst restaurant experience ever. Despite the excellent food and service, this visit really missed the mark. We were seated next to a large table of extremely drunk and loud diners. They repeatedly screamed at each other the entire time we were seated. Isn't it the manager's job to handle situations like this? Absolutely nothing was done - I don't know why they were continuing to seat diners in this area. We saw 2 different couples shown to a table next to the group and they immediately turned down the table (so wish we had!)

Yelp
Sadly, my high hopes for this place were immediately stolen by the abrupt rudeness of one of the staff, Mike. Known for its "post-ski hangout" vibes, my friends and I stopped for a few drinks at the bar with full intent on experiencing the menu. However, rather abruptly, Mike appeared by our side of the bar and said "I need this table...you'll need to move your stuff." I had a diaper bag on the empty table behind us and a bourbon that we had just ordered. I answered "sure thing" and began moving my stuff. Not a second later and as he stood staring at me to watch me move, he began to repeat himself..."you'll need to move your stuff". It was such a rude, aggressive tone in his voice and my friend said, "We heard you and we're moving as fast as we can." To that, Mike didn't respond and started picking up our two water cups that remained on the dining table. He walked away giving us a look like we were such an inconvenience. Instead of ordering food or more drinks, we asked for the tab - not feeling welcomed or respected at all. I was so bothered by this interaction that I found him again and asked his name just so I could include him in the review. As a customer of this restaurant, I expect to be treated with respect; however, we did not get that. Due to this, my group here for MusicFest (we come yearly with a large group) will not be returning to this restaurant for the remainder of our stay. We don't mind being asked to move...we care about the delivery and method of communication. Be wary if you visit this establishment.

Yelp
We ate at Truffle Pig while skiing in Steamboat Springs. It's located at the base of the mountain, and has a very warm feel to it as one would expect from a high end ski resort restaurant. We started with drinks, and I asked if they had Blantons, my favorite bourbon to date, and they did!!! One Blanton Whisky Sour coming right up!! For appetizers we ordered the Truffle Pig Fries and Crispy Duck Wings. The fries were amazing. Just perfect and we crushed them all. The Wings were not as good as the ones we ate at Hazies at the top of the Gondola mountain lift. For entrees, I ordered the Wagyu Burger with sautéed mushroom. Holy cow, what a fantastic burger. The service was right on point, as well. Just a wonderful experience! Kudos to Truffle Pig wait staff and chefs!!! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED

Yelp
First visit, and last visit... typical overpriced, overreaching and over hyped resort joint... From 60 main courses, to the over cook and over sauced everything , to the yeah there's Suppose to be more than 3 scallops to a plate... Married with inattentive at best service, but more apply horrific with the server trying to convince us "all duck is salty"! . The nail in the proverbial coffin, $300 for two without a bottle of wine. Time for a change at Steamboat! TP should booted! Hypnotic Chicken should have an outpost on the hill!
google avatar

Mar R.

Yelp
The Cesar salad, trout and short ribs were excellent. The sides were all salty. The duck was only ok. The key lime tart was good but the crust ratio was off, there should be a thicker crust The Kabocha Risotto was disappointing, the rice was kind of hard. There was zucchini in it as well which was not listed on the menu. Would not recommend this, though as a vegetarian there are limited options.

Yelp
This is a chaotic place for someone who just dropped in for the first time. No tips on what to do when the front person drops you off. Imagine doing the chasing yourself. Chase your waitress. Chase another menu. Why? Because we moved tables! So that's just the tip of the issue here. I'll save you the trouble and alert you of what to do. Before you walk out like I wanted to. You order everything at the bar . Period. Now you can add anything you want from the person who brought you your food. Before five. That's the HH menu. After that they switch to a regular menu. Nobody would tell you that story. The food: their Half Lb Kobe Beef was a joy to eat. But at the rate of going against my saying that if you're not prepared to shell out $$ you shouldn't go out- this one's still a shocker to me and I've seen a lot and been to a lot of places. But this one takes the cake! The end bill for this burger? $31! Holy sh**! The breakdown: just the burger was $17. +Bacon Jam $4. +Truffle mushroom $10. =$31! Holy mother of stupids! I didn't place the order. So the rest of the story is between me and the ordering friend. Hilarious but sad! I was furious! Pork belly Mac n cheese. This was ok but not cheesy enough. I've had better. $16 Honey Swinger was my cocktail of choice. Gin based. $13. Yup! This is a resort town and yes prices here are amazingly ridiculous! But I enjoyed this drink and I would definitely order this again. But then again. After that burger I feel like I'm being robbed in broad daylight! Lol! Ambiance? Bar like. The tables by the back? Dark and dark. Hence we moved. Experience teaches you a lesson. A four stars for food but a mere 2.5 for service. So fool me once...you know the rest...
google avatar

Jack D.

Yelp
Great atmosphere with a nice view of the mountain in the patio. Their pork chop dinner was one of the best I've ever had. Try the smoked old fashioned it's super good. Our waiter was very knowledgeable about everything on the menu. Loved everything about it. It's a must go if you're in the area.
google avatar

Jimmy K.

Yelp
This was a great place to wind down after a long day of skiing. We had a group of 7 (we made reservations about a month in advance) and they put us at a table in the back, which was nice. We had a little section to ourselves. They had a great selection of drink specials for happy hour. I thought $4 for Buffalo Trace was a steal! The group split a bunch of appetizers (almost one of everything). We didn't have a bad item. My favorite was the smoked old fashioned and the truffle fries. Duck wings and the almonds are great too. If you're a fan of bourbon, they had an amazing selection.

Karen L.

Yelp
We ordered 4 burgers-3 of them with upgraded truffle fries. 2 burgers came out and 1 was missing the truffle fries. The other 2 burgers came out about 8 minutes later. When we asked about the missing truffle fries, we were told the chef wanted the food runner to take the burger back. My daughter had already taken a bite. They finally brought us a side of truffle fries to make up for the missing order. Mind you, the burgers are $25 and the upcharge for truffle fries is $9 per burger. The 2 burgers that were ordered medium came out rare. Our server made an attempt to satisfy our fairly poor experience by giving us 2 beers for free. But she charged us full price at $8 each and then comped them when in reality they were supposed to cost $3.50 each because it was the Apres menu. Overall I was fairly disappointed by the timing of the food, the rareness of 2 of the burgers, the missing truffle fries, the cost of upgrading to truffle fries at $9 per order, and the relative apathy of the server and manager. I don't recommend.

Yelp
Very troubling experience here. Started out fine, but quickly went downhill. Our server said she forgot the appetizers and it was 100% her fault. Now we were in no rush but this was about an hour into the dinner. She said they are quick and easy and should be right out. Ok. We said just make sure the entrees aren't started or coming on top of them since that order was placed already. She said of course. Guess what happened, they came together five minutes later. Come to find out another staff member told our mutual friend there the appetizers went to the wrong table, not that she forgot to put them in as she told us. They held our entrees to correct the apps and ruined the entrees under warmers. All sides were cold and the meats and sauces were dry. We asked for a manager (there were two there), and they never came. We are talking another hour here. We got our check and it was 100% full price, no apology, no anything! This server was in damage control for herself, didn't even report anything to the management. We decided to leave since no manager came out after 20 minutes or so. A manager magically appeared. I have never seen my father in law so mad in my life. This place was hoping we just pay and leave, must be a resort thing. The manger comped the entire $600 bill after all of that shenanigans. Just when we thought all was settled, we got phone calls threatening us after. They called the number on the reservation!!! They called over and over until we answered. This was at 9:40 pm. 970-948-4448 was the number that called us. We finally answered and heard the F word and some other stuff then they hung up. Apparently it's Scott Engelman. He is a co-owner with David Jones. Scotty boy is married to a lawyer too! Liz Hastings Engelman. We are waiting for some calls tomorrow. We did reach some fellow management and they apologized. Long story short, avoid this place, Carl's Tavern and Eureka. They are all the same ownership and if you have a problem at one of these places, be prepared to get assaulted after you leave if they make mistakes.

Yelp
Love coming here and grabbing a seat at the bar. Food is always delicious and the atmosphere is vibrant. Tough to make a res, need to plan ahead, but if you're a small party you can often snag a seat at the bar.
google avatar

Polly R.

Yelp
So convenient and delicious! We made reservations a week prior and the time slots were already slim, so definitely book ahead. The place is located literally yards away from the base of the ski slopes, so if you're staying in the area, it's so easy to get to. Plus the food was great. We got the Chilean Sea Bass and Kobe Burger and had 0 complaints. Pro tip: split the Kobe burger. The dish is HUGE and the side of fries easily feeds four people. The sea bass is also worth ordering again. Things were pricey, but to be expected for a nice restaurant near the slopes. We'll be back next time we're in town.

Yelp
* Safety Alert * 4 patrons in our party became ill after dining at Truffle Pig Saturday 3/16...Pastas & Salads were the common denominator...

Yelp
My family of 5 ordered 4 burgers and an order of corn fritters for lunch. It took the server four trips over a period of 20 minutes for the food to be delivered to our table. The 3rd and 4th burger showed up 15 minutes after the first 2. One was delivered with regular fries when we had ordered truffle fries. When we asked the server what happened, she simply stated mis-communication in the kitchen. My youngest son end up sick about 4 hours after we had lunch. He was sick all night, we suspect if was his lunch as he had not had dinner yet. Certainly not a good day to eat at the truffle pig, hopefully this was just a bad day for them.

Yelp
As a Steamboat regular I cannot say enough good things about Truffle Pig. The fries? To die for. The ambiance? Impeccable. The service? Second to none. if you're lucky you'll have Cole as your bar tender. He is, without a shadow of a doubt, the best bartender in all of the Rockies. The perfect way to end a long day on the mountain

Yelp
Nice restaurant with a resort town feel. Came in a large group of 15 women, and had a wonderful experience. We were promptly seated, and our server was friendly and actually pretty funny. Good drink selection, I really enjoyed the pomegranate moscow mule. Appetizer bacon wrapped dates are delicious, make sure you order enough for your group. Kobe burger was super delicious! Large, juicy, marinated to perfection, mushrooms on top, fresh bun. I let a few of the girls try it, they also thought it was amazing. Tip: if you want to truffle fries, check if it is included in your meal before ordering as an appetizer.

Yelp
Food is a 2 star, location is a 4 star. $100 pp and nothing was that great. But it is close to the slopes. Glad we went, would not go again.

Yelp
I had the opportunity to dine at Truffle Pig on Saturday June 19. We had a wonderful time! We experienced the full dining experience beginning with a signature craft cocktail - smoked old fashion ( must have if your an old fashioned connoisseur) the glass is expertly smoked and the bitters is house made! We also enjoyed delicious wine recommended by our excellent waiter Martin Verna Next course included house daily special of burrata and the seasoned melon salad both were excellent and not too heavy, very bright, well seasoned and perfect for a summertime appetizer! Dinner course simply amazing! Chilean Sea bass cooked to perfection and the Néw York Strip perfectly seasoned and seared , very generous portion and perfect to share! The perfect end to a perfect meal was the creme brûlée and a french press of coffee to share for 2 Beautiful setting on the deck with a beautiful fire feature Truffle pig is aimed to please and I'm certainly looking forward to my next dining experience FYI happy hour is also one of the best in Steamboat! I am certainly going to be recommending truffle pig and Carl's to all our guests at Moving Mountains!! Honorable mention to Mark Stanford (Manager) and Scott Engelman (Owner) for their attention to detail to make this night a memorable one! Well done!
