When it first opened, Truffle seemed "inaccessible." Its positioning from its location on the 73rd floor gave the impression that it was a stuffy, high-end restaurant with a price tag to match. Today, however, the reality is completely different. Truffle is the stage for a talented and humble chef from Marseilles, Pierrick Maire, who showcases his take on authentic Côte d’Azur-inspired cuisine. His impressive pedigree, which includes leading the Michelin-starred Phenix in Shanghai, shines through in every dish.
The restaurant itself offers a comfortable and spacious dining experience with world-class, panoramic views of the Saigon cityscape. The dining room is managed with class by Oum, a Bangkok University graduate with a strong background in Thailand's top restaurants.
The value here is surprising. The tasting menu, priced at just 2,800,000 VND, is a beautifully balanced showcase of fresh proteins and natural ingredients, enhanced by a careful use of truffle and exclusive Petrossian caviar. For an additional 1,600,000 VND, you can add a perfectly matched wine pairing.
Pro Tip: Arrive around 5:30 PM to catch the stunning sunset from the outdoor deck. You can access the restaurant via the Vinpearl Marriott Hotel elevators.
