"The Trump International Hotel will get a new identity as a Waldorf Astoria without the Trump name attached to it. Miami-based investment firm CGI Merchant Group signed a contract to take over the hotel’s lease for a reported $375 million. The hotel’s Michelin-rated omakase gem Sushi Nakazawa won’t be affected by the sale." - Stephanie Carter

We had a fantastic experience at this Trump beachfront hotel. The exceptional service, immaculate cleanliness, and helpful staff exceeded our expectations. The beach and its attendant services were outstanding. Overall, our vacation was truly wonderful, and we look forward to returning in the future.

My family and I tend to come down to south Florida every winter from NY for about a week. I had an issue with the resort I frequent and quickly needed to find another accommodation. Tony was extremely helpful over the phone and was able to give me and my family peace of mind. The service at the resort was exceptional. My children throughly enjoyed the Japanese restaurant. We personally will now be staying here every year. Thank you to Tony and all of the staff.

We were not happy with the hotel overall. You could tell it was definitely understaffed. We did not receive room service for the first four days. No towels in the room soap, etc. had to go to the front desk to ask them to remove our trash and give us towels and toiletries. ||||One elevator was broken for the duration of the stay, and waited forever to get up and down to go to your room||||No towels at the pool day one and in the workout facility two treadmills were broken ||||Service at the lower outside grill took forever. ||||The beach facilities were fantastic as well as the beach ||||Overall, I would not return to this hotel it was not a five star experience. Family was disappointed 😔

I had an amazing experience at Trump International Beach Resort! The staff provided exceptional service, the facilities were immaculate, and the atmosphere was incredibly relaxing. It was the perfect getaway, and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a luxurious and memorable stay.

We used to love this place, but never again. Dirty rooms, rude workers.toiket clogged and we were given a plunger to unclog ourselves. Hair in the shower from precious guests when we checked in. Will no longer stay here. Save your money and stay somewhere else!!!!!

Google
Sad experience compared to renting from VRBO in January 2024 at same resort. This time we thought renting directly from resort we’d have a treat. Disappointingly untrue. Resort room needed lots of repair. Broken tile, ripped carpet, deformed lamp shade, overhead lights not working, toilet kept plugging, tv was not working correctly, pillows hard as rocks, sofa aged, stains on throw rug, pool water cold as heater was not working, and elevator from pool to beach broken.||Upon checking out we were told renovations were starting and they’ll be as brilliant as the new pricing. If going for comfort and what you’d expect o receive from the price keep looking. If you’re going for service they excel, other than the front desk. I truly wish I had a much memorable experience to share.

Avoid this dangerous ran down hotel. We were stuck in elevator on 26th floor 3 tines forcing us to walk 25 flights of stairs during stay. Informed elevators broken for years. Deferred maintenance everywhere, cold showers, wallpaper falling down baseboard cracked rotten, bang up furniture broken lamps. Bell hpp lost our luggage for 3hrs with seeded medications. Mgr laughed when I voiced my concerns.

Despite our daily requests to the manager, the room was not cleaned. As a result, housekeeping would arrive early in the evening, leaving us with insufficient towels and other essentials for getting ready after our beach trips.||||Pool was infested with bugs, and could only go to beach

Yelp
Nice hotel and service was really nice. They did upgrade us to an ocean view, but the rooms do look a bit dated though. The Bathroom shower seemed to have some of the wall around it crumbling. I would go back and hopefully get a more updated room. The pool area is really nice with 2 pools available. You also get a towel and chair for each person registered in the room. The dining room is a bit dated as well with not much selection and a bit pricey for the selection.

Yelp
I came here with my friend to enjoy a day at the pool and beach via Resort Pass, so this review is regarding that experience and not a hotel stay. The pool was pretty and a decent size, however, the seating area is a bit small and limited. We arrived around 11 and there were no seats available. There was maybe a seat here or there, and those didn't have an umbrella. I think we all need some shade, so that didn't work. My bestie managed to find the last two chairs that had an umbrella, thank God. But yeah, limited seating, so keep that in mind. The service was good. The server was polite and on top of things. The drinks were a bit of a weak pour. The food was good. We also enjoyed seating on the beach, and that was nice. Seating was more available there, and the staff was very nice and accommodating. The restroom and facilities were clean and well kept, and overall we had a great day here. I would recommend!

Yelp
All the bad reviews don't lie. Rooms are meh. And the food is horrible. Salmon looked room temp. U can only imagine the smell. The tomatoes unripe. Horrible quality control.

Shon O.

Yelp
Great hotel to stay. It's a little outdated however it's clean and the view of the ocean was priceless. It's a little far from south beach and downtown but a nicer/safer environment. Beach access was great as well as the lounge chairs and food and drinks. 80 degree weather was a plus. We would stay here again.

Yelp
If I could give zero stars, I would! Let's start off with the good points - it seems to be located in a great place, the ocean is right there, check-in was fairly simple That's where the good starts and ends I was over billed by roughly $100 did not realize this until I was on the road again leaving, I called hung up on, I called hung up on called and was told nobody was there to assist but someone would return my call. I waited a day I called again... Finally spoke with Robert the overnight manager, who stated he would assist in clearing up the bill overages, and when I began to explain all of the difficulties with the hotel, he asked me to please leave a review... Happy to do so. ***** updated to state I received a PARTIAL refund of the he over billed amount ***** VERY UNETHICAL hotel. The lobby restroom was one of the most disgusting restrooms I've seen in a very long time, I mentioned it to the individual checking us in, but they did not seem to be very concerned. The individual taking my bags up, took me to the wrong room first then the correct room, then stood in the doorway and handed me my bags. Not the service one would expect from a supposed 4 star hotel. The room had a disgusting odor about it, and was extremely warm - I called to the front desk. They stated they would have someone there as soon as they could, but weren't unable to provide any sort of timeframe whether it be 15 minutes or 15 hours. The maintenance individual came up not too long after and within 15 minutes of his being there the AC was fixed after another 30 the room smelled somewhat better. The room was dirty, by anyone's standards. I believe it was gum? Stuck to the floor in the restroom. The sheets were some sort of oversized, wrinkled mess, the bed was absolutely uncomfortable, and the patio door to the balcony looks like it's never been touched or cleaned ever . We decided to have a snack in the Japanese restaurant - I urge you to second think your choices. If you feel that that is a good place to visit. For $37 I got a very small bowl of rice at edamame and tea. The reason that there wasn't more food, is the sushi chef proceeded to cough while making the sushi when we mentioned to the waiter he quickly walked away with the sushi and brought the bill right away. No, can we make this better? Can we make something else for you? Nothing at all. You may wonder, why didn't we just leave? Well, drive six hours, attend an event for six hours, and head to the hotel. It was far too late in the day, to just completely drive away, or to find something suitable that late. Overall, I am beyond disappointed in not only the service level of this hotel, but the cleanliness of this hotel as well. A friend had mentioned this was one of the best hotels they've ever stayed at, after they stayed this time, they decided they would never be back. If you have new management, new ownership, quirky things happen we all get that - this was not one thing. This was a chain of events that started off bad and turned out ugly. Urge you, if you can stay elsewhere do so!!

Yelp
Came to enjoy the spa and have a nice beach day. Joel was my massage therapist and he was incredible. He described all the products he was using and even used a CBD infused massage oil, it was so soothing. He later used a heart chakra oil. It was a great experience, the only thing is it was a little chilly so I didn't get to tan in the beach like I had planned. I guess that means I have to go back.

Lena F.

Yelp
Beautiful & clean resort . Not a very deep or big pool and if are more kids it's a bit to noisy. Nice and very helpful staff The reason why I don't give 5 stars is because if you don't put the " privacy " tag on the door someone is coming again after 6 pm to clean / refresh the towels and bathroom.... For us after 6 pm was the time to prepare for going out not to be disturbed or checked

Lauren F.

Yelp
Fabulouse time a this trump resort. Love the man and love his properties. Such a restful and luxurious retreat needed at this time. Will be back and will be recommending to all my cohorts and partners in crime!!

Yelp
Attended a friend's wedding here as a guest. We didn't stay overnight at the resort so I can't evaluate the actual hotel & resort. The venue for the wedding is beautiful and great location. But the overall experience was not 5-stars and worth the amount of money they charged for the entire wedding (close to $50k). The event staff were very militant and not very friendly or accommodating. We arrived early to enjoy cocktails at the lobby bar, and they came to tell us that about 15 of us that we needed to go sit as the wedding would be starting soon. Well they didn't give us enough time to get there before the bridal precession so we had to wait. After the ceremony they wouldn't open the cocktail hour bar for all guests just sitting waiting in the sun for about 30 minutes. People actually went back to the lobby bar to pay for drinks. We weren't even allowed in the pool area to wander and enjoy the beach view. We were told "you must stay on the grass area". Then food appetizers were served before the bar was opened. Then of course 100 guests make a mad dash to bar when it finally opened. I've been in event management and this setup was subpar. Bridesmaids & Groomsmen couldn't even get drinks. The appetizer selections were glorified cold cuts & cheese. Hot apps were not hot either. The reception was definitely better. The food & cake were above average. A nice thing that the bride & groom paid for afterwards was an after party in the hotel lobby with open bar & comfort food for late night consumption. An added touch that would have been nice if the resort provided music though during that time even if it was not too loud. There's nothing within walking distance for an after party so it was nice to not have festivities not end at 10 or 11pm.

Yelp
We read some mixed reviews of this hotel so we were a bit concern prior to arrival. I had some points that went towards the hotel and also the VIP rewards made it worth staying with dining credits and credits towards parking which equates to one night of free parking. The hotel itself was a bit outdated but was still beautiful and grand. We loved the multiple pools with the waterfalls. My kids enjoyed it so much. The beach in front of the hotel and your resort fees covered beach chairs and umbrellas at the beach. Checkin was amazing we got there at 12 pm before the 4pm check in time and was able to get a room right away. The valet service was excellent. So efficient and everyone was so friendly and helpful. We had some drinks and snacks at the poolside restaurant and food was excellent. Our room was huge facing the ocean so pretty All in all an amazing hotel and would definitely come back!

Yelp
The 1st impression is a customer service - rude employees! Beach staff: When my family and I went to the beach at 1st day, instead of welcome, employees suggested to exchange shoes because they like it - my opinion employees are not suppose to talk this way to customers, you never know who a customer and which person could be! In dining service: When I called to order tea, a guy told me you suppose to wait 40 minutes* to get tea and when he brought tea, it was not the best quality of tea for $45, my opinion it's too expensive for 3 cups! *Too long to prepare 3 cups of tea. If it cost $45, it suppose to be delivered in 7 minutes, not 40 minutes! I'm not sure that all customers staying in the hotel make orders at the same time. Azurro breakfast restaurant: Plates are dirty at the fruits and bread counter and just 1 lady who making the food apologies for it and removed dirty plates from the counter. Variety of the food is not large. No fresh juice offered, just juices from concentrate.

Yelp
Did we have a good time??? Yes. although I would rate this with a typical Marriott. Definitely not a luxury Hotel that we had hoped for. Because it needs a lot of maintenance. Too many things need painted/ repaired, or fixed from an inoperable state. Getting access to the beach and returning is a mess.

Yelp
*Warning Biometric Chip Implant Slave Auction. They drug and chip you, sell your Biometric Chip Data to the highest bidder, and then they erase your memories and release you back into the streets. You don't remember that you've already been chipped. Donald Trump's brain-computer interface includes a radio implant, a shock-collar implant, and a gps tracker. He has his employees use pharmaceutical drugs to erase the memory of whoever they implant. They use the brain-computer interface to manipulate and brainwash us if we dont know its there. If we don't know it's there, then they to make us lose our train if thought when we thinking of something, to make subliminal threats, to pretend to be someone else and to steal our intellectual property..

Yelp
My husband and I came here using resort pass. Valet was $10 for the day since we had an appointment at the spa. The stairs at the front of the entrance is very inconvenient for luggage. The lobby, beach, and spa staff were very rude, disorganized, and confused with using resort pass. First, we visited the beach. It was a beautiful day. The beach was as expected; water was too cold in February. Chairs were first come first serve. Next, we went to the pools. There are 2 different pools which were also very cold. We spent majority of our time in the jacuzzi which was very nice. Chairs were first come first serve. Lastly, we went to the spa. The ladies' steam room was closed. The ladies' sauna was small - only for about 2 people - but very enjoyable. We spent some time in the relaxation lounge which was nice. We do wish there were more snacks and drinks available. There were only apples and water. Our 60 minute massages were our favorite part! Highly recommend getting a massage here. Very relaxing and professional. Overall, this hotel is very busy with lots of kids. We cannot comment on the rooms since we only came here for the day. We won't be using resort pass here again unfortunately.

Melzz M.

Yelp
I had a great and wonderful experience at the spa. All the employees were so sweet and kind. The food is tasty and reasonably priced compared to other spas; for instance, a burger costs $20. The only thing I didn't like was that when I asked for the receipt, I didn't receive an itemized one after ordering a Red Bull. I kindly asked the waiter at the bar on the second floor if the tip was included, but he ignored me. Since I had just arrived at the Trump Hotel and wanted to relax without stress, I left a two-dollar tip without getting an answer on whether the tip was included or not. The same situation occurred on the beach when we ordered food to our beach chair area--no itemized receipt again. I later asked a staff member, and they confirmed that the tip is included at 18%. I do not appreciate the lack of an itemized receipt being available to the customer; that wasn't cool at all!

Yelp
Fantastic stay very clean and wonderful views Beach and pools were definitely beautiful I highly recommend this resort lots of activities and a great gym.

Jessica S.

Yelp
The entire experience was wonderful. The staff is so helpful and will treat you better than any other location in Miami. Class all the way!

Placido V.

Yelp
Had a very pleasant experience overall with the resort pass. Service, food and overall amenities were superb. Price for food very reasonable.

Yelp
This was our honeymoon trip - we ended up leaving early due to how we were treated here. We were promised a honeymoon set up. We called a month in advance for this, only to arrive and nothing was set up. Front desk was not apologetic about this. The room was grimy and dirty. Air vents had dust and dirt in them. Cabinets had dirt and hair in them. After sleeping here for two nights, we discovered BLACK MOLD growing all over the ceiling, plus water damage. We were told by the manager named Genesis that she would not be refunding us for the two nights we had already stayed in the room. We were spoken to very rudely and unapologetically. AVOID THIS PLACE. There are countless other areas in Miami that you use your money to stay where staff will treat you respectfully. HIGHLY DISAPPOINTED.

Aimee M.

Yelp
Worst hotel ever! Id rather stay at a super 6 motel! I had many issues, and whenever I went to complain to manager was never on site. This hotel is extremely outdated the pool and Jacuzzi area shut down at 5 PM which is absolutely ridiculous. I had a very nice Shelby sports car for a rental that I know the valet messed up because I barely drove it and when I got the car back it was making weird noises and not driving right . I asked for coffee since my room didn't have any stocked in it and it took them two hours to get me coffee. It took them over an hour to get me ice. There was a huge amount of dust in the room like it had not been really clean his paint chipping off the walls. This hotel is not worth the money at all. The only thing good about it is the view from the balcony and that is it.!

Jamie G.

Yelp
This place is super cringy! Upon arrival(&departure) no one helped me with my luggage up the flight of stairs! The room had a funky smell the carpet has pulling and looks dingy the bathroom wallpaper is discolored and peeling. Then the guests are constantly allowing their doors to slam shut & kids playing with guest door bells at 04am! The spa has a nice size sauna and steam room but inside the steam room it sounds like a very load generator noise when the steam is being generated The massage experience: never have I ever had a massage tech who had dry rough hands and for some reason that thought using their finger nails to apply I guess point therapy was somehow relaxing then during the therapy there was a loud slam every so often between his massage techniques and the external noises it was hard to relax! The pool was a decent size and was clean but the jacuzzis were so small they looked like circular kiddie pools. The gym had dirty yoga mats and worn equipment handles. I decided to try the breakfast options on my last day and I truly regretted it! The bacon were crisp and croissants were like bricks it was impossible to open

Carlos H.

Yelp
I celebrated my birthday and I tell you that since I arrived the Custumer service was super good from the ballet parking to the service on the beach every service that exists was of very good treatment and quality we were super happy I recommend it 100% Celebre mi cumpleaños y les comento que desde que llegué el Custumer service fue súper bueno desde el ballet parking hasta el servicio en la playa cada servicio que existe fue de muy buen trato y calidad quedamos super contentos lo recomiendo 100%

Yelp
I have stayed here 3 years in a row. I like the location. I do think the room needs an update, since there is a musty smell from the carpets. Be aware of charges on your room, that are not yours. I was charged with $124.00 in wet bar charges, that were not mine. I called numerous times to resolve this. I was told they would not credit my visa. I guess they would rather take the loss of another year's stay there, then credit me for the liquor we never touched.

Liana V.

Yelp
I will never stay here again, How can they still call this the Trump Beach resort ? Trump is all about luxury and this is way under Luxury .. nice front of the hotel outside , Lobby is not so modern . nice but needs a little modern feel ... elevators take forever to accomidate if the hotel is full which was July 4 weeeknd also ... Pool is nice ... pool service was understaffed but they were trying his best running all around .... , seems like there was one for half of the whole pool and another half one more person for that other side.. Now let me start with the rooms , very very disapponted. I would like to say to housekeeping and to management workers look frustrated and over worked.. I have stayed in the finest 5 hotels and never have I seen this .....It is not up to par... Very old .. outdated.. Electric switchplates were discusting , electic outlets were loose , Bathroom light fixtures were super rusted , dusty and we suffer from allergies and on top of that the musty smell that came back in my all our cloths ( Discusting ) Humidity smell , fixtures were rusted, bathroom cauking was literally falling of and on the floor like its been there for days ... bed sheets felt damp and beds were not comfortable .. balcony was dirty with sand piles from the beach, wall papers was peeling off in the bathroom , corners in the shower had garbage in all corners ... It looks like that is given the fastest cleaning for the next guests and done on to the next. view was nice on 17 floor oceanview but the typical tall building constuction loud noise for the building next door, couldnt even sit outside and enjoy my morning cofee like I like in the balcony with the views of ocean. :( upon checkout gave the front desk some complaints and like if it wasnt with her, she said yes we will relate your concerns.. No sympathy or applogy what so ever .. didnt even ask : How was your stay ? nothing .. Stay away from this place, Not worth it considering the expensive rate we paid to be able to enjoy some July fourth fun... Felt like I was staying at Holiday in when you stay in these rooms ... Valet was ok considering the hotel was really packed. forgot to me tion the elevator keypads are GROSS No wonder I was various guests walk up and complain about something ... Guess I wasnt the only guests not happy ... Hope you take my opinions and do something with it ... HORRIBLE

Yelp
We had an AMAZING stay at the Trump International Resort with an incredible suite overlooking the most beautiful private, Miami beach area! The suite had everything we needed and even included a washer/drayer with laundry detergent, fully equiped kitchen, the best views of both the Miami City lights and the beach! We have stayed in only one other Hotel that had better appointments. This was everything we needed in a Miami vacation spot. Poolside bar area with food, hot tub with views of the ocean, infinity lazy river pool, tennis courts, putting green, jet ski rentals, free beach lounge chairs with beach towels, beach massages, and a server to see to your every need! Also, an incredible spa, sushi restaurant and amazing 5 star Italiam restaurant, plus incredible breakfast brunch buffet or a la carte menu that simply has it all. Yes, we will be back on our next Miami trip, as Trump really knows what five-star hospitality should be! The only improvement I could recommend would be a throw for the couch area and an electric fireplace in the living room would add so much.

Yelp
We stayed here for 5 nights. We loved our pool bartender who was always the absolute best. We ate at the Japanese restaurant on the property. Which was very good. But very pricey. The first night we arrived a gentleman was working the desk alone he offered to put us Oceanside for a extra 200 a night. Which would not be a big deal but as we were checking out we heard a young women at the desk offer that same deal to a man for the same charge. (No extra charge) which was a little annoying. The location is great there are lots of great restaurants within walking distance. The beach has waiters a++, the chairs are free on the beach which is awesome. Our room had a washer and dryer which we loved. The downstairs bar has plenty of seating and very friendly bartenders. Be prepared for most of the staff to not speak English but overall it was a nice hotel. But a bit dated. Lots and lots of kids in the pools which it had two.

Eden S.

Yelp
oml this place is sooooooo amazing i got a day pass with my family and a cabana and it was so good. with a cabana you get a personal server and a air conditiooned room the pool is so relaxing and refreshing and even without a cabana it is so fun.there is an easy route to get to the beach and there is a 2nd pool!!! there is also a toddler play area outside on the bottom level with many things like bean bags a table games and more i rlly recommend this place

Pamela K.

Yelp
I can only give this location 3 stars. We were there for Spa services which were amazing ,a wonderful Spa, a perfect day which included the pool and beach. The pool was open and clean. The jacuzzi's were not working and there were two. A feature I was planning on using. This must be a pet friendly hotel, as a guest brought her dog to the pool. I have nothing against dogs but this dog was unleashed and running around. A number of times she had to get up and chase her dog and he was barking which was distracting to say the least. We came to enjoy a peaceful spa day. We will definitely come back and use the spa but not the pool area unless everything is in working order. And no construction. If you make an appointment check to see what is not available to use. Also this was Miami Spa Month

Tamairo M.

Yelp
One of the worst out dated overpriced places I've ever seen! My Husband was ok with it. I was not. This caused a huge argument between me and my Husband and I didn't wanna stay here! I should have canceled when I saw some of the other reviews. My fault for even coming here in the first place.

Jason H.

Yelp
What we liked about it. The staff were all super helpful and polite. In particular was Vincent, he helped get our bags from the vehicle and brought them to our room. He even saw me later in the lobby and asked if I was ok. He was just as helpful during departure. Upon check in we were upgraded for free. The overall hotel is nice. What we didn't like... The room. It definitely needs an update. Everything is old and for those prices, they don't match up.

Brandon A.

Yelp
I will never come back here ever again took my baby a bath and in the towel there was pubic hair Robert and jenasis did absolutely nothing this is what we got for are baby too have pubic hair all over so please keep your kids away from hair definitely not family friendly whatsoever

Tempest F.

Yelp
An African American woman at the front desk has the worst attitude I have ever experienced in my life! My room key deactivated while I was at the beach. I called down to the front desk to ask if security can let me in my room, they said I had to come down. I get down there and she says I have to provide my ID. I told her it was in my locked room that I cannot get into. She kept asking for my ID. When she finally understood what I was saying she said I had to go back up to the room so that security can let me in to get the ID, to bring back down, to get another key so that I could get back into my room. I brought her my ID and she didn't even look at it! She angrily made a key and slid it in the counter. I asked for two because my mom would need another key as well, being that our keys were deactivated. She, again angrily, said that I would have to wait! I took the one key and just left. I don't know what I did to make her treat me that way. This isn't the service I'm used to receiving from this resort. Normally it's 5 stars! This experience, however, has definitely soured my view. That being said, I usually have a great time here. I love the vicinity to the beach and all the amenities. The people are usually very nice and accommodating! I'll be back for sure.

Frank A.

Yelp
This review is based on The Trump International Resort and has nothing to do with whether I voted for Trump or not. This resort is pretty cool. They have three levels of seating with two pools on two levels and the ocean is of course on ground floor. They have multiple bars by the pool and a bar close to the ocean. They serve food at the bar. There is music playing and the atmosphere is nice. They keep the place clean and updated. The only parking is by valet. It is a little pricey, however, you get what you pay for. Keep in mind, this is located on the beach in Miami. Would I go here again? ABSOLUTELY YES!

Alexis M.

Yelp
I stayed at the hotel for 3 days. Door lock was broken, shower curtain was stained with some purple paint, coffee machine was broke, and the cherry on top was the painters that barged in the room at 10am without knocking. I was naked and my wife and daughter were in bed. They didn't even knock! Staff is pretty useless, I call to let them know about each and every issue, and they would just apologize for the inconvenience. And when I went in person when the painters walked in my room, they would just shrug their shoulders and say "sorry about that." Most unprofessional group of ppl. I'm writing this review on the same day they walked into my room. I'm cutting my stay short and leaving in the morning. Never again.

Yelp
I stayed at this hotel for a destination wedding. It was one big disappointment! First at check in, my room was disgustedly dirty. The porter that brought me up to the room couldn't handle the smell and almost vomited. The mirror, sliding glass door, bed, couch, furniture-doors, and kitchen were smelly and dirty. I complain and received another room. Then the hot water in the showers did not work for most of the guests that were part of the destination wedding. The family pool had beer cans, food, and wrappers in the pool. Very unsettling. Due to the contract my niece had, all guests were suppose to be waived resort fees, which were not done at time of check-out. My niece got kicked out of her honeymoon suite the day after the wedding which her room was suppose to be complimentary part of her wedding contract. If it was not for her husband complaining, they would have had to buy a room to stay until there guest left. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. The Trump team failed on every aspect which we had with this hotel. The attitude of the front desk was unbelievable. They did not take care of things or issues. This hotel is very outdated and not kept up with cleaning or maintenance!

Stay here 3 nights 7/6/22. Our room was very cleaned with a nice balcony and view. The room are very spacious. Only 4 elevators so a little wait during rush hour. The valet parking staffs and bell services were very friendly and fast. The checkin and guest phone not so much quick responsive but respectful. They don't have many on staffs working anyway. Beach was very nice and the cabana services were quick to provided towels and umbrellas etc.

Yelp
Make your eyes double for the hidden fees. They will charge you about Wi-Fi even if you don't use it, They will make donations out of your card without asking, they will make you pay daily resort fee and then on top of that service fees and tips. Ask for the mini bar to be emptied because they will charge you for stuff that you didn't even look at little less use. The toilet was blocked all the time, the front desk was super rude. Don't recommend this place at all. Not worth your money

Yelp
I went there for brunch the restaurant wasn't very busy but we waited about 15 minutes to be seated once seated we were given menus Once we were seated our waitress came over and gave us menus. She took our drink order and disappeared after several minutes another waitress came by and we told her what had transpired and when she returned she said our waitress would be right with us. We were seated for almost 30 minutes with no orders being made and no drinks. I don't recommend this place at all unless you just want to sit.

Yelp
I was a guest here - had some issues with my room- not horrible- furniture is old, missing light bulbs, elevators are extremely slow. But the MAIN issue is the manager- GENESIS and her sidekick Alexandria. They were SO RUDE to my husband and didnt care. We tried to explain that we were overcharged and we were, but were very nice about it. Genesis copped an attitude that was worthy of an Oscar. She retorted " I dont care what you think of me" IS THIS THE WAY A CUSTOMER SHOUD BE TREATED? I tried to contact the manager of the hotel, Danny but he hasnt responded for a week. What is going on at this hotel. Noone cares ? There are plenty of options here- my advise it to take them. She is AWFUL!!!

Yelp
This place is NOT a trump Property and is an absolute disaster. Do not come here. Rooms are adequate but beach and pool Service and food are horrific. Extremely disappointed.

Yelp
Do not be fooled by the name of this property. It is not owned by Trump and is no where even close to the caliber of resort as Trump's Doral property. I do not understand how the Trump Hotels allows this resort to use its name. Although the staff was great, the hotel itself is need of a complete renovation. The pool bar smelled like complete garbage and was covered in black mold. The beach bar was pretty much the same except covered with pigeons and bird poop. The rooms and bathrooms were not very clean and the maid service was terrible. Didn't replace any dirty towels. Took a robe that was used once and didn't replace it. Couldn't get a pot of coffee from room service as every time I called, which was 5 or 6, I got an answering machine. I have seen other reviews with photos of dirty rooms and bathrooms in need of repair... these are extremely accurate. I wish I took photos as well. I will say the spa was great. It was clean and I had a great massage. Such a disappointment.

Yelp
Room smelled. They switched room but gave me another room that had a smell as well. Heading from pull there's a line to get into the 2 elevators. People are rude and just push through. Took me 30 minutes to get to my room at 5pm.

Yelp
I really was hoping to have a much better experience here. Paid just over $2,200 for a 5 night stay and was very disappointed in ALOT of things. First off, when you are getting a room here make sure you read that there is no public parking and everything is valet which is an extra $40 a night. The "activities" that were provided at the resort was definitely misguiding. It said they had free paddle boarding lessons which sounded very fun to us! After we got to the beach to paddle board they said it was $60 per hour, I told them I wanted the free lessons the resort provided and the working told me that, that consisted of literally staying on the beach and just showing me how to hold the paddle and stand up? Secondly the rooms were horrible! I stayed in room 2307 for the first night and there were so many things wrong with it. The bathroom ceiling was falling apart and had ALOT of water damage, looked like there might be something growing in there, the bathtub handle was falling apart, the wallpaper was changing colors to a brownish color and one of the cabinet hinge was literally tripped off in the kitchen area. We told management about all this and they offered to change rooms which we did because the bathroom did not look safe to be in. On to the next room, 2513. Walked in and the lamp next to our two queen beds was almost falling off the wall, I go over to fix it and it had brown stuff on it, did not look okay at all, sit on the chair by the slider to the balcony and realize the arm rest is cracked, like not even connected. Later that night I took a shower and of course it doesn't drain, and when I mean doesn't, I mean I had standing water sitting in my shower for a good 2 hours after I shut it off, also the light fixture on the wall by he toilet was missing it's cover and was just the build showing. At this point I was exhausted and didn't want to switch everything to a new room again. I told management about it all so hopefully they can get it right. Would not recommend and will not stay here again, had such high expectations and was extremely let down.

Yelp
It's only been one day here so far.food is excellent I'd recommend the fruit plate at the outside bar. Breakfast is top notch. $30 for Buffet, however we opted for the 15$ 2 egg breakfast with a large amount of potatoes, meat and bagels. Room is nice and view is nice. It's pretty quiet here . A lot of international travelers with children. Pools are nice.

Yelp
My husband stayed here for work. He had a beautiful view of the beach and pool. All staff was very nice and accommodating. The only complaint we had was room service turn around time was incredibly long. Then requesting a room service menu apparently takes forever too. There was a particular day where we had an hour and a half break. Wanted room service. My husband took the room service menu downstairs so I had to go to the front desk and ask for another menu. They didn't have one readily available so the gentleman who helped me said he would send one up to our room. 15 minutes went by and I was still waiting. I called guest services to follow up, they said that is the housekeeping department and they would contact them. Another 10 minutes goes by and still nothing. I called the housekeeping directly and they said they would follow up on the situation. Another 10 minutes flies by and still nothing. At this point, I'm over it and just need to eat something. I called room service and explained that I asked 3 times and never got a menu and just want a salad or sandwich so I asked what I could get fairly quickly. They suggested a Caesar salad and add chicken. Done. Also added a cappuccino. While I was waiting, my menu FINALLY arrived...50 minutes after my initial request!!! Oh. Em. Geeeeeeeee. I politely said thank you. My food came 15 minutes before I had to leave back to work. To top it all off, my chicken Caesar and cappuccino cost me $39!!!! Service charge included. Even so, that is just NUTS!!! I didn't have a menu otherwise I wouldn't have ordered a $21 chicken Caesar. Anyway.... Other than room service issues and getting a menu delivered in a decent amount of time, everything else has been pleasant. I can't say enough about the staffing from valet, bell person, front desk, housekeeping.

Yelp
Check in was a breeze, valet wanted to park my car but it was an uber! They were sweet and bellboy unloaded my car and hauled my luggage off for me and it was waiting for me once I got inside to check in. Check in took two seconds and the lady at the desk let me take extra pens home with me as a souvenir. Love those pens. I went up to my room and moments later my bellboy arrived with my bags, I unloaded and he let me know anything I needed during my stay would be accommodated, very friendly! My room had a huge bed in it with plenty of space and a gorgeous sliding door open balcony where I would spend each morning with a delicious (illy? coffee) They have delicious coffee here (10 stars) and every night I'd watch the traffic roll by! I enjoyed watching the tennis players outside my window playing tennis each day and upon walking around resort i discovered mini golf and tremendously huge swimming pool area that went all the way down to the ocean with chairs set up for resort guests, breathtaking views. Additionally I had two bath robes waiting for me in the room with slippers! The bathroom was huge with a full bathtub on one side of the vanity and the shower on the other! I cannot wait to be back in miami for another stay in this lovely resort.

Yelp
Hello, I am writing a review for my boyfriend and I who recently stayed at your resort. We came here for a relaxing getaway and that was the last thing we experienced here. Starting with having only two hot tubs and out of the the two: only one was working and being heated BUT it was being crammed with 15+ screaming/splashing children under the age of 8 when the sign says no one under 12. My boyfriend couldn't even get in due to there being no room and the kids jumping in. There were children breaking glass next to the hot tub that I had to -personally- clean up so a 4 year old wouldn't pick it up or get hurt and no staff ever cleaned it up even after being informed about the broken glass where kids were running barefoot. The front desk was contacted numerous times about this issue and nothing was done after saying security was on the way twice. On top of that, i was locked out of my suite for an hour and had to go up and down to the 18th floor three times around midnight and took two security guards to get me into this room I'm paying an immaculate of money to sleep in. I absolutely would not have spent this type of money here if I knew I was gonna get this horrible experience, I'll provide my contact information below, I would like someone to contact me about compensation or a discount on this stay as I spent over ten thousand dollars within the week and received subpar service at best. Leaving this here since I submitted this to the company website and got no response and spent 10k+ at this "relaxing" resort.

Yelp
As beautiful as this hotel is, it is extremely poorly maintained. We checked into room 2217, a corner suite, and it had BEAUTIFUL views with a wraparound balcony. Gorgeous, really! Except... The air conditioning leaked an ocean into our rug, leaving a wet mess to wade through in the foyer. On top of that, the closet couldn't be opened because it was locked from the inside (wtf?), the dead bolt had parts missing and so could not be used to secure our front door, and the lights in the middle of the room were non operational. We complained, and they transferred us down a few floors to 1517. They said this room was an upgrade, which it was NOT. Smaller, less light, only one SUPER TINY balcony, and no treats added (snacks etc) like in our previous room. The only difference was instead of two beds, we had one king. But it's a SMALLER ROOM. Pointless. We ended up checking out that same night and asking for a refund. Honeymoon worthy, this hotel was not. PS. My husband would like me to add: the pillows weren't feather pillows. At $800+ a night, he expected a lot more out of the bedding. He was also disappointed that customer service didn't do a better job of making sure we were taken care of for our honeymoon. In his words, "For $800 a night, they better kiss my damn feet."
