came here for meals while staying at four seasons. their rigatoni slaps — got them to split the portion in half for each of us but it was so good we had it two days in a row. oysters, pizza and truffle fries were great too. they did a great job on everything

Overall nice place. Dinner service definitely better than breakfast. Thanks to pastry team for making me a cookie for desert.

Late Dec2024 One of two main dining establishments at the Four Seasons in Calistoga and is the principal outlet for staying guest. Our dinner dining experience features Napa Valley cuisine and drinks with ingredients mainly regionally sourced. The dishes were fusion representations of a number of classic European and American dishes with seasonal components. The menu is varied but easily navigated whether you are looking for a light or heavy repast. The servers are very well informed, helpful and attentive as expected of the Four Seasons brand. The bistro interiors are modern, warm, and comfortable with high vaulted ceilings and a spacious layout that provides a balanced privacy as well as a communal feel. Our first proper meal during our arrival at Napa Valley was indeed a satisfying one.

Deeply Disappointing Experience at the Four Seasons Napa Restaurant – A Shadow Over a Brand We Loved We’ve stayed at Four Seasons Napa multiple times — in fact, we were just there a month ago for a weekend getaway and came back again, trusting the consistently high standards of the brand. Sadly, this recent visit left us truly disappointed, all because of one experience at the hotel’s only restaurant. We had a brunch reservation for four and started with appetizers and Espresso Martinis. The glasses were unusually small — definitely not what you’d expect for this cocktail — and after just a few sips, all four of us agreed that the drinks were simply terrible. They were overly sweet, weak in both alcohol and coffee flavor, and tasted more like melted ice than a proper cocktail. When our server checked in, I politely expressed my surprise and said the drink didn’t resemble the ones we’ve had here before. She was kind and apologetic and offered to have them remade. We accepted. Shortly after, we saw the manager step in, change the bartender, and prepare the new drinks himself. The second round was much better, and we appreciated the effort. However, when the check arrived, the original cocktails were still included. I politely asked about it, and the server responded, “Well, you drank it.” I asked to speak to the manager, and that’s when things took a truly disappointing turn. Instead of showing understanding or professionalism, the manager doubled down and told us he had to charge for anything that had been consumed. He gave us a forced smile and a tone that clearly implied we were trying to get a free drink. It was patronizing and insulting — not to mention completely out of line with the Four Seasons philosophy. This was not about the money. It was about being treated with respect, and feeling like our long-standing loyalty to the brand meant something. Instead, we were left with the impression that our integrity was being questioned — over a $20 cocktail that was objectively bad and replaced by their own initiative. We’ve recommended Four Seasons Napa to countless friends and family. But after this experience, it’s hard to say we’ll be back. It’s honestly painful to write this, but it’s even more painful to have felt so unwelcome at a place that once felt like a favorite.

Unfortunately, we sat outside and the weather was not favorable. I believe it was about 103 degrees, we should have sat indoors. My view of a dead oak tree was not what I wanted to see on our special birthday celebration especially spending $$$$. Make sure you review the weather temperature before sitting outside and that there are enough umbrellas at your table. Our server was awesome and we enjoyed her sense of humor

Google
We had a lovely late lunch at Truss today! We chose to sit outside and were thankful the staff provided a table with shade. The space is so beautiful inside and out, but we prefer outside when we can. We ordered Parmesan truffle fries for the table, and they were so delicious. Beware: the portion is huge! Two of us ate what felt like a ton and barely ate half of the order. Definitely enough to share. I ordered the rigatoni dish but GF, so it was spaghetti style noodles. My friend ordered the steak sandwich. Everything tasted delicious, and we're excited to see what else this beautiful property has in store for us!

Went for breakfast at Truss. Came here for a conference. Luckily there was no wait time. I was able to walk in and get a table. The host was great, server was very good. Food was good. Loved the hash brown there were something, different.

Truss and Believe 😍 • We are staying at the BEAUTIFUL Four Seasons Napa Valley and caught lunch at their restaurant Truss. Highly recommend everything we have tried over the past week but I’ll narrow down some for this post 🤭. From the views overlooking the TWO pools to the villas scattered amongst actual grape vines, everything was perfection. For bites, we got the Salmon, Truffle Fries, Tuna Crudo & Mezzi Rigatoni. Chefs kiss on everything ordered 🤌🏻 But we can’t forget about the cocktails, riiiight?! We chose Pick Me Up (tweak espressotini), Fennel Wears Prada, Smokey the Pear and Spring is Here. All superb and full of flavor 😋 • If you ever get a chance to come to Napa Valley and stay at the Four Seasons Calistoga, don’t skip out on Truss. Truss and Believe me, you won’t regret any choice here 😍

Yelp
I wanted to get in the holiday spirit so I booked a winter chalet. I was really excited especially since this would be at the four seasons. There is valet and self parking here. The ambiance of the chalet was really cute and festive. There are many christmas trees and everything looked lit and classy. My brother and I were seated right away. Our server was ok. I don't think she ever introduced herself. I never heard her name. She got the job done though. The person refilling our water and giving us clean utensils was very polite and attentive. The water was refilled several times. We ordered the fondue, smores, and beef cheek poutine. There was one smore per person. It was fun to roast the big square marshmallows. It was very sticky. It would have been nice to have like a wet washcloth after that. My brother enjoyed the s'mores. The fondue was just ok. It came with little cuts of asparagus, tiny potatoes cut into halves, cauliflower, and small bread pieces. I was a little underwhelmed. the beef poutine was a large portion. We didn't finish it. it was kind of salty. I still had a good time. I recommend going for the overall experience. It would be a great date night idea.

Yelp
I stopped by the Four Seasons Napa Valley this weekend for a quick staycation and ate at Truss twice: once for dinner and once for lunch, and really enjoyed both meals. For dinner, we ordered the caviar service, potato & leek soup, cacio e pepe with lobster, steak with whipped potatoes & broccolini, mushrooms and truffle fries. I ordered the mocktail with yuzu, matcha creme, and lychee boba. It was so good, I ordered another one. Every single item was excellent, but the standouts were the soup, pasta & whipped potatoes. Would definitely order all of those again. We attempted to get brunch at Truss the next morning, but we got there at 11am, right after they changed out the menu, so we ended up eating lunch there. My partner ordered the burger and I ordered the poke bowl, but tbh, I wish I ordered the burger. I thought I'd order something healthier given the huge meal we had the night prior, but I got FOMO after I had a couple bites of the burger. It's honestly one of the best burgers I've had in my life. I'm ordering this the next time I come here. Overall, great food and service. Highly recommend if you're in the area.

Yelp
THIS REVIEW IS SOLELY BASED ON OUR GOLDEN HOUR EXPERIENCE! - happy hour 3-6p - oysters- 3 of them for $8?! If you're a mignonette snob- you will appreciate theirs. Cucumber apple.... I was literally drinking the rest. Oysters were fresh! - other drink + food specials looked appetizing but we had to save our appetites for dinner - on a Friday at 4p, not too busy, our bartender/server at the bar was Marco- and he made our experience so welcoming! Attentive. Asked us what our plans were for the evening/weekend. Wrote down his favorite places to eat at in the surrounding towns. He is so attentive and personable, what a great asset to the team!

Yelp
My wife and I visited Four Seasons hotel in Calistoga, Ca and ate at Truss. We were impressed with the service and attentiveness of the entire staff and experience there at Truss, the Michelin star restaurant! Would give it 6 stars if I could!

Yelp
I visited this restaurant just recently via reservation, which I highly recommend- reserving a table that is. It seems to be a high demand place, being attached to the Calistoga Four Seasons Hotel. Don't kill the messenger here- but for me, this was a bit lackluster on food quality. The ambience was wonderful. It was open space indoor, outdoor. The inside was elegant, yet a touch of that rustic charm you would expect whist visiting Napa Valley, surrounding places, such as Calistoga. The views were pleasant. I preferred to sit outdoors; However, it's such an open air environment, even inside you can enjoy the ambience of the Calistoga Landscape. It is quiet, intimate, and relaxing. It's trendy and upscale. They had a nice wine list, although I was saddened, they happen to not have the French Blanc that I selected from their wine list- to accompany my Branzino. With that said, I ordered the oysters, which were well, oysters- nothing to write home about, but good nonetheless. I order the Branzino for my entree AND I am so sad to say, it was terrible. Branzino is one of my favorite fish when dining out and this was a solid miss. What looked like a grand piece of fish was actually what appeared to be oversized fillets of fried potatoes on top of the two very small fillets of Branzino. After forging through poatato slabs to locate my ever so small fillets, under this potato stack- I found two very thin, meager, and over cooked pieces of Bronzino. It was almost Branzino jerky :( I should have said something, but I did not. The Branzino came with a $70 price tag, which is fine IF it's a $70 piece of fish. In my experience, I would have called that a $24 piece of fish that I would get on a plate with rice at a walk up casual Mediterranean counter. My guest ordered a burger, which I had a bit of and it was wonderful- mind you, I do not eat burgers or red meat, but maybe by comparison to my meal lol. Just kidding, the burger was legitimately good. I'm always excited for dessert, but after the huge miss on my Branzino, I opted to pass on dessert here and hopped to another establishment for night caps & dessert.

Yelp
We have eaten at the restaurant, the fancier spot and at the bar. By far our favorite, when it's too cold to eat outside on their deck, is the bar. It's more casual and intimate; you can sit back and take in the amazing view of the property and surrounding hills and you have access to the full menu. While the staff are nice and btw the sommelier is EXCELLENT we have found the service can be slow and we once had to leave without having had dinner because even the bartender who was serving us admitted that waiting for 80 mins for our entrees was not acceptable (he offered to comp the wine we had had but we still insisted on paying). But I think they are still sorting the service piece out and they are incrementally getting there. Last night the food was all on point. The sauce served with the chicken was so good. I wanted to pick my bowl up and drink it all down. Chicken was so moist and tender. All the veggies were fresh and well done. My husband's salmon was a little underdone but we had more than enough food so the little underdone bit will reheat nicely when we have leftovers today. ;-) While not perfect, hence the 4 stars, we will continue to return. The property is stunning, the food is quality, the wine list is really impressive and the service continues to improve.

Yelp
Considering the price point I expected to enjoy my meal more. When it comes to the service/staff, 5 stars hands down. The meal was just okay. I did enjoy the charcuterie board. I ordered the roasted chicken sandwich. I was bummed because the sauces saved the sandwich for sure. The chicken itself didn't have a lot of flavor. Majority of the table ordered the burger and loved it. I did steal a few of my friends truffle fries and they were good. For my cocktail I had the tea party. Which is basically an espresso martini with kahlua and tea infused ketel one. I enjoyed my drink more than anything else. That and the view were my favorite parts. I'd give them another shot but maybe go for the burger next time.

Yelp
Amazing decor in this restaurant! Came here after spending the morning at the spa (Spa Talisa that is on the property). Attempted to sit outside but the 100 degree weather made it close to impossible, so we moved inside. Waitress was attentive and knowledgeable. The manager of the restaurant came in to make sure we were good as well, which I loved! I ordered a glass of rose, onion dip, kale and beet salad with burrata, and the Calistoga bowl. The onion dip wasn't your typical French onion dip, it was more of an onion foam. Very interesting concept. The dip was light and the chips were tasty, homemade but not greasy. Not sure if I would order it again but it was an interesting take on onion dip! My Calistoga bowl included fresh tuna, pickled onions, rice, etc and was delicious with a spicy Mayo on top. The view from the patio is amazing so highly recommend sitting outside if weather permits! Already looking to book another spa day in the winter so will return to Truss as well!

Yelp
Be careful, this place will charge you for upgraded water with out your approval.. $48 for ours. Yikes. Sourdough bread, sadly tasteless and lacked salt. Onion dip was foamy onion air, but good flavor. Truffle fries, good. And a great portion size. Vegetables on the chicken platter were supposed to be carrots and came out as hard barely cooked brussels sprouts. Cheesecake was supposed to have a blackberry compote, but came out with a blueberry compote. This is an above average place so you'd think they'd do better. A little bummed that we even tried to talk to the manager about it. He said he would call us back and never did. So one star is.

Yelp
Came for lunch on a Friday. Even on a cloudy & rainy day, the grounds of the Four Seasons and TRUSS Restaurant Bar are beautiful and perfectly modern. We started off with a glass of champagne, followed by Smokey the Pear and the Sunset Jalisco. Both were delicious and loved the smokey presentation. For food we had the Truffle Parmesan Fries, Roasted Chicken Sandwich & Grilled Maitake Pizza. The fries were perfectly truffle flavored and crispy. The chicken sandwich was my favorite, flavorful and tasty with pepper jam, Swiss cheese and cilantro lime aioli. The grilled Maitake pizza was also loaded with flavor, the crust thin and perfectly crispy, with two eggs in the center. For dessert we had the cast iron skillet cookie with Tahitian vanilla ice cream and fresh strawberries and coffee. The coffee was smooth and the cast iron cookie might be the best I've had. Pros: Overall an exceptional experience, beautiful grounds, excellent service and a delicious food. Coke: N/A

Yelp
What a gorgeous vibe! The decor, the setting among the Napa Valley mountains, the indoor - outdoor setup, very well done. The food was very good, satisfying, and we loved all the dishes. The salad, pizza, salmon, pasta, all great! See pictures shown. Our main server was great, attentive, kind. Sometime towards the end we had 4 different people ask to clear plates while we were deep in conversation. It was a bit annoying when you're having an important conversation to get interrupted multiple times. The staff didn't know, but part of the job is to read the room a little.

Yelp
Truss was a great experience. The staff and our waiter were very friendly. Because it was our anniversary, they gifted us a glass of champagne. They were very attentive and gave great wine recommendations to pair with our food, and the food was delicious. We went for lunch and it was nice to sit outside and enjoy the view.

Yelp
Wow, hands down one of the finest restaurants in the Calistoga Napa area! The staff exudes friendliness and professionalism, going above and beyond to ensure an exceptional hospitality experience. The food is simply scrumptious--I tried the leek soup and it was out of this world, a true delight for the taste buds. My boyfriend opted for the chicken sandwich, which was incredibly tender, juicy, and downright phenomenal. The cocktails were perfectly balanced, not too sweet or bitter, and beautifully presented. The dessert was equally delightful. The view of the Calistoga Hills from our table was absolutely breathtaking. I wholeheartedly recommend this restaurant and can't wait to return on my next visit to Calistoga.

Yelp
Lovely setting. Gracious attendants. My avocado toast was perfect and my friend's white egg omelette was delicious. Definitely would come back.

Yelp
Pleasant service- nice setting Overpriced and not particularly good food. Went for 'happy hour' fare- which was ok. Also ordered a couple of their 'Pizzas' off the dinner menu. Tasteless cracker base -meh toppings Can't recommend

Yelp
The food was really good but the wait time for food was very long. The servers seemed nice but inexperienced. I was expecting more from a four seasons restaurant.

Yelp
In Napa for the day and decided to check for last minute reservations at Truss. We have been following Chef Rogelio Garcias culinary journey and know that he was brought on by Four Seasons as Executive Chef last year. We were fortunate and secured reservations for an early dine at Truss in the bar area. Upon arrival we were immediately greeted by well put together, personable staff. We were escorted to our table that was positioned at The end of the bar where there were sets ups for two couples. We were right next to the main walking ingress/egress to the restaurant and Auro their fine dining restaurant. The restaurant was beautifully decorated, spacious, with comfortable furniture and stunning open views of the green hills We were contacted quickly by our server and given water and menus. Then there was a very long pause. We were not able to get anyone's attention to order cocktails or our food selection. The table next to us had ordered and received cocktails so I decided to get up and order from the bartender. I understand establishments get busy and Truss was full. Beautiful views so no worries waiting a reasonable time but would rather with a cocktail so I approached the bar and the female bartender asked if she could help me. I asked if she was able to make a naked and famous, as I know chartreuse is a hard find, and said yes. I then ordered one from her. She asked where I was sitting and I pointed to my table that was no more then 15 feet away. She then told me to order from my server. I advised I had been waiting at least 15 minutes to do so and that I was ordering from her. I then turned to return to my seat a bit put off from her lack of customer service and I saw the front of the house manager walking my way. We discussed the situation and moved on without a hitch. Service and quality were spot on from there. The food was amazing, arrived proper temperature and timely. The light fluffy onion dip with house made chips and the Kale, mushroom and egg pizza were flavorful and perfect openers. I ordered the burger as my entree and a side of truffle fries. The burger was perfectly cooked to my liking, the bun was soft and textured. Fries generous serving good texture and not overly seasoned. Flavors merried well together. Also ordered at the table was the pasta described to me as simply delicious not overly sauced and noodles cooked to perfection. When my drink came it was well crafted. Oak-milk latte and Crème Brûlée for dessert were both created to perfection. Our experience at Truss started off rocky but it was addressed by management and we moved on to have a quality experience. The food was delivered timely, temperature correct and was perfectly balanced in flavor. At the end of our meal we were invited into Chef Rogelio's kitchen where staff greeted us with a loud welcome. The pastry chefs had created a special treat for kitchen visitors. It was beautifully presented and was a pop of flavor. Not too sweet just right. Photos with Chef concluded a wonderful dining experience. We noticed two Chefs tables in the kitchen during our tour and told Chef Rogelio we would be back to enjoy an elevated aspect of Four Seasons dining. Bravo Chef and staff see you again.

Yelp
Beautiful setting. Good service. Loved the Ubi Colada. The feta/sausage pizza had WAY too much feta...you couldn't taste anything else. The beef tartare was good but a little spicy...nothing on the description warned us of that. The poke bowl was very good and fresh.

Yelp
Nice restaurant in the Four Seasons hotel. Parking is down by the winery, and you walk up a set of stairs to get to the restaurant. Very attentive and friendly service from everyone. Bright, spacious, modern interior with large windows and a nice view outside. The sausage pizza, chips with French onion dip, and brussel sprouts were all delicious. We also ordered some coffee afterwards to help us ease out of all the food we ate. I'd recommend stopping by for a bite in the Calistoga area.

Yelp
Very pretty restaurant. Love the set up and how some of the tables had bench type seating or those single lounge chairs. The vibe was calm, soothing, and peaceful even though most tables were occupied. Parking was not an issue for us. Bathrooms are located outside the restaurant which was not convenient since it was raining that time. Food and service were good! I'd come back if I'm passing by the area!

Yelp
We stumbled upon this restaurant randomly and decided to have dinner here because it was beautiful. I had an issue with my drink order and the manager came over and quickly apologize. He went above and beyond and was so nice about it - honestly it was hard to even stay upset for a second. His name was Scott. The waitress also came over and apologized for the mishap. The pizza was excellent and I loved the onion dip. Really appreciated the great service tonight!

Yelp
When on a wine tasting trip, don't miss out on this restaurant for a delightful lunch experience. The entire team extends a warm welcome, ensuring attentive and professional service. You'll appreciate the restaurant's charming interior, well-furnished and comfortable, with a picturesque view and convenient valet service. Even with a big group and a toddler, they provide sturdy and spotless high chairs. The server goes the extra mile, offering to prepare dishes in 2 portions for easy sharing. Our adventurous order left us thoroughly satisfied, especially our 2-year-old, who enjoyed the tomato soup and polished off half of the pasta dish. Their impressive wine selection and fantastic mocktails add to the enjoyment. We're already excited to plan our next visit for dinner service!

Yelp
TLDR: - Dinner food was good, service was okay, experience was meh - Breakfast was much better Truss is located at the Four Seasons Hotel in Calistoga and serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner. There is a small bar area and an open kitchen so you can peek inside. The kitchen is shared with the fine-dining restaurant Auro whose executive chef Rogelio Garcia was on Top Chef. For breakfast, I ordered the blue corn chilaquiles ($26) which were delicious! The chips were soft from the sauce but still had some bite. The salsa verde was slightly spicy and balanced out by the avocado, egg, and queso fresco. We also ordered the homemade breakfast sausages ($8) which were on the salty side but good. I tried the other dishes (wild mushroom omelette, smoked salmon) and they were also solid. My only wish is that they had more dishes with protein. For dinner, we made reservations online ahead of time and were promptly brought to our table when we arrived. They have a small cocktail and beer list and a much bigger wine list (not surprised though). HOMEMADE CHIPS AND ONION DIP - these were complimentary after having waited 30 minutes for our food and nothing had yet arrived. These were light and pretty much tasted like Lays. The onion dip was fluffy. 3.5/5 TRUFFLE PARMESAN FRIES ($16) - these were delicious and a fan-favorite of our table. 5/5 GRILLED MAITAKE PIZZA ($24) - the mushrooms were good and I liked that it was crispy all throughout the bottom and up to the edges of the pizza. I also liked the addition of the slightly runny egg. 4/5 WILD MUSHROOM BUCATINI ($29) - I really liked the sauce and the chewiness of the noodles. My only wish was that the dish had meat in it. 4/5 ORA KING SALMON ($36) - my family ordered this medium which was a good idea because it was so soft inside while maintaining a crispy skin on the outside. Everyone at our table raved about this entree and we all wished the portions were bigger. 4.5/5 WESTHOLME AUSTRALIAN WAGYU ($76) - this was tender, easy to cut into, and cooked perfectly. It lacked a little bit of flavor on its own but the herb butter helped with that. 4.5/5 THE TOM JOAD ($18) - the brandy, carpano antica, and peaty laphroaig all stood out in this drink. It was a spirit forward and drier drink but you could taste all the ingredients equally well. 5/5 THE BIG BUKOWSKI ($18) - this drink was slightly bitter and sweet but big on coffee flavors. If you like coffee, this is your drink. 4/5 A couple of mishaps: - It took 50 minutes for our shareables to arrive and 90 minutes for our entrees to arrive. Tables that were seated 30 minutes after us got their entrees within 20 minutes which frustrated me the most because it was not busy and there were a lot of people in the kitchen. - There were two different wagyus on the menu: "wagyu filet" ($58) and "Australian wagyu" ($76). I told the server I wanted the "wagyu filet" and she went on about how one had no sides and one had potatoes. She also mentioned that one was actually a New York steak, but I reiterated I wanted the "wagyu filet" (even pointing to it on the menu) and was okay with whatever came out. Long story short, the steak that was given to me was actually the "Australian wagyu" and that's what they charged us for. I didn't realize this until I looked at the menu later that night (I didn't realize in the moment because I was so frustrated the food had taken 1.5 hours to arrive). - When we ordered our food I told the server I would keep the drinks menu so I could order more later in the evening. Multiple times in the next 20 minutes she came by and tried to take the menu from the table. The first time I stopped her but the second time she straight up took it without asking. This happened as my first drink was finished and ready to be taken away. I would've expected her to take the empty glass away instead of the menu and ask if I wanted another drink but that didn't happen. At the end of the night our server asked if we wanted dessert or any other drinks and we said no because we couldn't wait to get out of there. The staff looked inexperienced and the kitchen was overstaffed and underdelivering. They tried to make it up at the end but I just couldn't get that bad taste out of my mouth. If only I could write two separate reviews for this place because I had two different experiences for breakfast and dinner. I really wish I could give a better rating because the food was actually good but our dinner experience was too bad to ignore.

Yelp
Visited Truss for dinner for a girls night and would never recommend to anyone! The food was overpriced for the quality. Vegetables were undercooked and basically raw, sourdough bread was so disappointing, burger was dry and meat was so thin, and they didn't ask but gave us mineral water & charged $3 per glass!! I've never been so disappointed in a meal, we all would have rather gone to a chain restaurant and paid much less for better quality. Thankfully our waitress was amazing & very attentive!

Yelp
Wonderful dining experience nestled atop the Four Seasons Napa. Offering beautifully crafted Californian cuisine, an ample wine list, and curated cocktails from expert mixologists. Their dessert offerings are also quite remarkable. The restaurant offers both indoor dining, along with outdoor dining amongst fire pits overlooking the resort and vineyards below. Having dinned here a handful of times both when they newly opened, and more recently; I can say that Truss is a welcome addition to the restaurant community of Calistoga.

Yelp
My husband took me here for my birthday. At first I was a little uncomfortable because the atmosphere was very high-end. But I was soon put at ease by the wonderful staff. All were highly trained and skilled in their jobs. Our meals were amazing, the Signature libations were delicious and the views of the valley and palisades breathtaking! It was a special evening to remember. Can't wait to go back!

Good cocktails. Servers checked in a lot to ensure everything was ok. I had a reservation so all the servers came up and referred to us by name.

Yelp
Food A plus..Branzini was prepared as a deboned whole fish. Lightly seasoned with lemon and garlic enhanced the flavor of this meaty fish.. Service was enthusiastic and very knowledgeable on all menu items. Highly recommend!

Yelp
Insanely overpriced for the food we received. The portions were small, the vegetables were not fully cooked and different than what was on the menu. They charged us $50 for bottled water and didn't even ask us if we wanted bottled or tap, just started pouring bottled. The waitress was very kind and attentive.

Yelp
Extremely nice place. Everyone was very kind. Food was good too. The margarita pizza and the leak soup to die for!

Yelp
This is probably the most impressive decor and ambiance in all of Calistoga as far as restaurants go. You certainly feel the white glove treatment, which is to be expected with a Four Seasons property. The presentation of the drinks and food were impeccable the service was attentive, but relaxed. It's a tight menu, so go there having perused it beforehand, otherwise you might end up going wild and ordering one of everything to feel satiated. For the feeling of intimacy and seclusion even in such an open space, this would be my choice for a date night. Parking seems to be valet only and they did a good job remembering us so the wait to pull our car around was minimal.

Yelp
Wow!!! Ambience is out of this world, drinks are wow, somm was great n helpful, the food coming out of kitchen from the simple fries or onion dip, to the beef and salmon is executed perfectly. Beef was great, n different, onion syrup on a steak, interesting. The sides were awesome, mushrooms wow. Will Come back over n over, but please keep changing menu!

Yelp
We didn't eat here, so this review is STRICTLY based on service. We had an 8:15 reservation and got there about 45 mins early, hoping to start the night with a few drinks at the bar. We stood at the entrance for a "long time" with no one making eye contact or coming towards us. Eventually we walked to the back of the restaurant and asked a server if we could sit at the bar while we waited for our table. She said two seats just opened and to go over. We sat down at two dirty seats at the bar. It took a few minutes for the bartender to even acknowledge us being there. She still left the previous people's drinks at our seats. She asked if we were dining at the bar (we said no, just drinking) and she gave us the a dinner menu. We asked again for the cocktail menu. A few mins later she finally brought it over. We quickly ordered two drinks. She said she'd have the other bartender, Carlos, make our drinks. He started making them. But then in the middle stopped, took someone else's order, processed someone's payment and then went to the back. The original bartender proceeded to make drinks for others. That's when the manager came over and said he noticed we didn't have drinks yet. That's when Carlos ran to the other end of the bar and finished making our drinks, which had been sitting there for almost 10 minutes, and basically threw them at us. The manager offered to buy us the round, but honestly cocktails that have been sitting, thrown at us by a bartender in a FILTHY vest, no thanks. The restaurant is beautiful, but the staff is incompetent and rude. After having g dinner at Solbar the night before, we couldn't believe the disparity in service. We'll never go back!

Yelp
Ambiance a 5 Wine and bar a 5 Food a 2. Salmon fishy and under cooked. Lemon did not help. Salad could have used more dressing. Burger underwhelming compared to other Calistoga restaurants. Bartender over worked so service was okay

Yelp
My wife and I went here for our anniversary lunch. I can't recommend this place enough if you are in Calistoga. The staff were incredibly friendly, the views are amazing and food was absolutely delicious. We shared a Margherita pizza and a club sandwich. We will definitely be back

Yelp
Beautiful location with a wonderful view and staff! My family came for breakfast and everyone enjoyed themselves. I have been waiting for this place to open for a minute and it did not disappoint! The WILD MUSHROOM OMELETTE & CALISTOGA SUNRISE were excellent. The English muffin was so fluffy and crispy. I found the HEALTHY GARDEN EGG SKILLET bland, but that may be my fault for ordering something healthy lol. Anyhow I wanted to shoutout a staff member but I am the worst with names! She is blonde and I believe her name starts with an A. She wasn't even our waitress but noticing a string on my scarf and removed it for me. She was so kind and I truly appreciate gestures like that!

Yelp
Sighhhh what happened to this restaurant? We once had a delicious mushroom pizza but apparently they changed the chef. Now they serve food that you might get at a bowling alley. AVOID.

Yelp
They're trying but it's not great. - drove up from SF. Called to say we were going to be 15-20 mins late due to traffic. They said they were at capacity and after 20 minutes they won't hold the table, so we drove quickly to rush up. Restaurant was like... 10% full. We're talking 20 open tables - appetizers - great - cocktails - good but all were too sweet - brought the mains out literally 5 minutes after the apps came out, both before the drinks had even come. They were good enough to recognize the mistake and took them away, but then they just kept them warm for 20 mins instead of remaking - despite the extended heating time, almost every main was undercooked. Roasted carrots were salad level crunchy. One salmon was well cooked, the other was sashimi in the middle. Pork ribs - some were well cooked, one was pink. Pretty concerning...

Yelp
My birthday evening after a fab day at the solage across the road - the worst meal ever - server was great and I felt embarrassed for her with the food that was served - we had an ok salad appetizer followed by what was listed as signature pizza - worst pizza I have ever had, first one came up burnt- second tasted like a frozen pizza - you could taste the Bbq sauce as if someone had spread it all over the pizza last minute - really 4 seasons I would be embarrassed...

Dirty glasses stacked up at the bar. Bartenders also dish washers??? Is this COVID safe?

Yelp
I am staying at the Four Seasons and this restaurant has been so amazing. This is my third visit and every single time I am taken aback by the service and quality. You truly don't need to leave the resort. The manager along with the staff have been exceptional.

Yelp
First let me say, I am a fan of the Four Seasons. I've been to many in multiple locations and I've never been disappointed until now. 1. The food was flavorless. Trout entree was ordered and came with one sorry radish cut into 8 parts. Trout although cooked well had zero flavor. The burger was ordered and also came out with zero flavor and a dry bun. There was not a drop of seasoning to enhance the flavor of the meals. Presentstion was lonely on both dishes. 2. The service was not that of a Four Seasons. Hands down typically you will get the absoloutely best service with just about any accommodations. Couldn't get the meals without garlic, or Ttiut with no sauce, or a gluten free bun, just basic accommodations you can find at your most basic restaurants. They just didn't have. They didn't remember any of our names it was just an all around terrible experience. The servers were flat with personality, and offered no details about the menu. They were slow to check on us. And there were only 4 tables being served. 3. The location was well designed, the outdoor space was spacious and the view was lovely. The design direction felt more of a Lake Tahoe vibe rather than the gorgeous hills of Napa County. All in all, I sure hope management (not the GM) truly steps it up because I would not promote this as a real Four Seasons experience. Training, training, training - improved recipes, and a better vetted recruiting process could help. Unfortunately this party of 6 and we won't be back.

Yelp
Would have gave it 5 stars, service and ambiance was great but the steak was a little bland

Yelp
Aggressively mediocre food with enough salt in it to take down a rhino with very slow (but somehow still fussy?) service. Skip this place; it offers nothing. 38 different people (exaggeration, it was actually 9 to 11 people) "looked after" our table (of two!) and it was as annoying an experience as I have ever had dining. Conversation was constantly interrupted by (seemingly random) waiters and food runners and silverware swappers and wine runners asking how things were every five seconds. The flourishes for everything (just set. the fork. down. You don't need to wave it in the air and spiral it gently down to the table for a soft landing that takes literally 30 seconds per piece of tableware) were beyond annoying. The caviar was served with very salty (Lays? I would SWEAR these are just Lay's potato chips from a bag?.) potato chips. (Why no blinis? Why no boiled potato? Why salty potato chips to enjoy with caviar, which *is salt*?). And the mashed potatoes had us asking "are these boxed mashed potatoes? They taste overly salty and like glue and *exactly* like box flake potatoes." Ordered a bottle of champagne and a random other bottle was presented before we asserted we wanted the wine we ordered and it was found (took a while and two people to find it.) The interior is almost laughably bland (think the HGTV "industrial farmhouse" style that's so tired it's been dead for years) despite being new(ish). We came because we're staying at the Four Seasons and thought it would be nice to stay on property to dine. It wasn't.

Yelp
Really great restaurant. Lunch and dinner have the same menu currently. The ribs are excellent. The chicken was moist and tender, ribs were delicious, the onion dip and chips were also great (not pictured). Loved both desserts. Neither portion is too heavy, so by all means go for two. The elusa wine by the glass from the property winery goes well with the ribs.
