"When "working from home" translates to catching up with friends while casually monitoring Slack, Tryst is your spot. The popular cafe feels more like a scene from Lady Bird than a real-life coffee shop, thanks to their chipped wooden tables and mismatched ceramic mugs that feel both random and purposefully curated. After 10pm on Thursday through Saturday, the cafe transforms into a strictly grown-up affair. It’s the perfect pregame spot before hitting the club—or your couch." - omnia saed, mekita rivas

I had such a great time at Saturday brunch (lovely ambience and good music)! The oxtails were absolutely delicious—I'm just wishing the portion size was a bit more generous. Overall, everything was fantastic! One suggestion I have is to maybe have a few more staff members on hand during busy weekends, or perhaps have them be a bit more attentive. On a positive note, I really appreciated the free parking in the garage next door! The venue is lovely, and I can’t wait to come back!

I am extremely disappointed with my experience at the Valentine’s Love & Laughter event. We paid $130 for entry, only to be seated with a random couple, while my date was placed next to a brick wall hardly the romantic setting we expected. The wait time was excessive, and when the food finally arrived, it was bland and absolutely not worth the $50 per plate. While the establishment itself had a nice aesthetic, looks alone do not make up for mediocre food. For an event marketed as a romantic couples’ experience, the ambiance was completely off. The vibe wasn’t intimate, and the music choice did not fit the theme at all. Additionally, the $130 ticket price felt unjustified, especially considering that the featured singer did little to enhance the experience. As a suggestion, I strongly recommend seating couples separately to allow for a more personal and romantic atmosphere. Also, the quality of the food needs major improvement. After spending over $250, I left feeling incredibly disappointed and do not see myself returning. I hope the business takes this feedback seriously and makes the necessary changes.

Tryst. Kitchen + Cocktails lives up to the hype. So glad to have this addition to the San Antonio scene. tryst serves southern cuisine in an upscale atmosphere. tryst offered excellent service during my multiple visits. The catfish was fried to perfection, the salmon was perfectly cooked to order, and each appetizer was superb. I ordered the collard dip and the crab cakes. Their take on crab cakes was different and delicious. Last but not least, the Cocktails selection is extensive. The drinks were well balanced and completed the menu. Tryst. Kitchen + Cocktails is a must when visiting San Antonio!

I've been wanting to come here and finally did last night. I loved everything. From the friendly staff to the decor and the food. We started with the collard dip and then the oxtail pasta. No complaints. I will definitely go back. Our server Oscar took good care of us.

Checked out this place with a couple of friends, and I loved the aesthetics and vibe. Complimentary parking downtown on Saturday night was a bonus. The food did not disappoint. I enjoyed every single thing. The Money Bag Dumplings, the warm Cornbread with that heavenly honey, the Collard Dip and the Oxtail Flatbread...the flatbread was so good I forgot to get a picture of my Blackened Salmon. I really enjoyed the spice of the salmon and sweetness of the pureed sweet potato combination. I'll definitely be back.

Came into town and asked my special daughter to pick a place for lunch. She chose Tryst because she had heard good things about it. We loved it!!! The atmosphere was really great. Greeted when entered and seated immediately. We had several appetizers and a couple of drinks. All were delicious. The waitress was attentive and the manager also visited the table. It’s a great place for cocktails and dining with areas that can be separated for small of large group get togethers.

Google
This place exceeded my expectations. The food is AMAZING. The vibe is absolutely great. Went for a girls brunch & the dj & music they were playing was just a great vibe. The chicken and waffles was soooo good. And I also got the Hot Girl Summer cocktail, it was chef’s kiss. I would recommend this for any occasion because everything about this place is spectacular. Even free parking too which is convenient since closer to downtown you gotta pay for parking!

Once again, they proved why this is one of my favorite places in San Antonio. It was a light Tuesday evening and my partner wanted to go out. She had never been here before so I suggested we go. Immediately upon entering, we were greeted and seated by the friendly and professional staff. The music playlist is exceptional for an evening dinner and vibe, whether you’re with a date or with a group of friends. We had the oxtail flatbread, Braised Oxtails and Rice, Scallops, Asparagus, Sweet Potato Puree, and Sweet Potatoes Crème Brûlée. The food was absolutely amazing and cooked to perfection. The restaurant even comped our sides and dessert. This was my 4th time visiting and can’t wait to make a 5th trip in the future.

Yelp
We came for brunch with a large party that included children. They did initially have us seated in a section with three tables close to each other, I didn't mind but we did move the tables to one long table and they accommodated really well, I think this was due to the time and the fact we were outside. Our waitress was amazing, she was quick, attentive, friendly and explained the menu/bar drinks. I loved the music and the vibe of the whole restaurant but the food. OMG the food. We had chicken and waffles, gumbo, collard dip, and catfish with grits. Not one thing missed the mark. Everything was incredible. The chicken was breaded beautifully and the waffle was good. The collard dip and grits I would send people to the restaurant just to try. So happy to have this restaurant in the SA community!

Yelp
This is the spot to be if you want to have some good food, good drinks, good service, and enjoy some good music! The catfish and grits is really good, the catfish is well seasoned and the grits complements it just right. I know it's random but I loved the sweet tea too! If you're from the South then you know we don't play about good sweet tea! I enjoyed the DJ spinning his records during Sunday Brunch, every song was my jam! :-P I need to go back for the performances that they have here as well soon.

Yelp
Visit for a birthday celebration. Unfortunately our group could not be seated together, but we were close enough to mingle. I have to start off by commending the service. All the staff were enthusiastic and very willing to ensure we had an enjoyable experience. The GM came by and spoke with us to make sure all was well and to get some feedback. That is always a good thing! Wish I would've saved my appetite because the food on the menu seemed great and other members of my party were very pleased with their meals. Opted for appetizers just so I could taste something off of the menu. Loaded Oysters were good but were so loaded that you barely taste the oyster. The crab cakes were delicious and full of seasoned crab meat. For anyone that reads my reviews, you know that old fashioned is my go to cocktail; and the one at Tryst is done right! Salute to the bartender for that. I also tried the Dr's Order which is a variation of an old fashioned with Dr Pepper syrup. Gotta say that it's not for me. Really enjoyed the ambiance, vibe, and the music that was playing. Have to say that prices seemed a bit elevated but I chalk that up to the location. Overall, it was a pleasant experience and visit to Tryst and I can say that I look forward to returning to try other menu items.

Yelp
My wife and I went here last Thursday night for a date night. With life being so busy we decided to pause and go eat some good food and a drink. I made a reservation for 730 but we arrived around 715. Being that it was pretty empty at that point , we were able to sit any where we wanted. The restaurant has small booths, tables for four, larger tables for 6 and in the back they have lounging areas with sofas and other chairs ( assume this is for those who did not come to eat). There's a good playlist playing at an optimal volume to allow for conversation. We sat at a table by the bar and near the kitchen so we could be in view of the bartender and waiter ( there was only 1 on duty that night). Which was fine until two large groups showed up. But the owner and bartender helped service everyone. We ordered two old fashioneds, money bag dumplings ( appetizer ) and the braised oxtails (entree) over dirty rice with a side of cornbread. The old fashioned was excellent ( a little sweet for me ), but I'm a straight whisky drinker. My wife really enjoyed it. The weird part was that they put a blueberry in it as a garnish rather than a cherry. The dumplings do look like little money bags and are served 5 to an order. The dumplings were fried a bit too hard for my taste as they are in a pastry ( would expect a crispy yet flaky dough). The filling was with dirty rice that has great flavor but I think the fry removed the moisture. The sauce they serve with it accompanied it well as it needed the moisture. Now those oxtails were amazing. Well seasoned and fall apart tender over a bed of dirty rice to match the flavor. They give you a great potion as well. My wife and I shared this and were both satisfied. The cornbread was an excellent accompaniment to the entree. Very moist, flavorful, with honey drizzled on top. Served like a loaf on a hot plate. This is a nice place with a greatambiance and decor. The food is excellent and drinks are on point . As you should expect, it's in the Pearl so it is priced accordingly but I was not disappointed. We will be back to try the collard green dip and some catfish. Give it a try and enjoy!

Yelp
I love the setup of the restaurant, it's in a perfect location, we were seated rather quickly, waited a long time for the food but I must say that it was good, if they could pick up their service time it would be amazing! Our bartender was amazing, she made one of the best sangrias I've had, waited Forevvverrrr for bananas foster cheesecake 20 plus min, which the manager quickly remedied after finding this out, overall I had an amazing experience here, food was good and vibes were great, I would definitely try them again.

Yelp
I was invited to dinner at this restaurant by a friend. I showed up and it was pretty empty on a Sunday night. We were seated right away. Our waitress gave us time to look at our menu. I wasn't too hungry so I ordered the loaded oysters and a side salad. I will say I did expect to have at least six oysters, but it only came with three for $29. The oysters were loaded with rice and one shrimp each. They were flavorful. The salad was a simple side salad with tomatoes, carrots, and bacon. The menu looked interesting, but their lunch menu looked even better for me. I really wish they had their lunch options available for dinner. Our waitress was friendly and attentive. Parking is free and right next-door in the parking garage.

Yelp
Came here for a group lunch of about 8. I think this place is pretty new for the lunch crowd because it wasn't full. We were probably the only ones. I think it might be more of an after work/weekend spot. Either way, it's a cool venue with a bar in the middle, lounge chairs on the perimeter, and outdoor seating. I ordered the veggie flatbread and it was pretty standard. It was a good size for lunch. I wasn't stuffed so that was good. I'd like to come back and try a few drinks and see what it's like in the night time.

Yelp
Came for my birthday and it was great. My oxtail was tender and cooked to perfection. And the gumbo was also fabulous. Not as good as some home cooked gumbo but well worth a taste! Since it was my birthday they had me dance to a birthday song and I got a free shot. Honestly just a great overall vibe. Can't wait to come back!

Yelp
Everything I've heard about this place is accurate. Good vibes, good, food. I met some coworkers for a pre holiday luncheon and it didn't disappoint. They gave their own free parking which is great! The time of day allowed us a chill experience as there were only a few people dining at the time. Our server was amazing. She checked on us often. For starters, I was told to try the collard dip as an app. Presentation was great but we all agreed it was a tad bit salty. Someone ordered the shrimp app. It had a little kick but it was very tasty. I was also told to try the oxtails with the pasta instead of the rice. I liked the sound of that. It didn't disappear all. It's was so good I wanted to finish it all but there was no way. My coworkers both ordered the fried fish & shrimp dish. They loved it. We all had leftovers to take with us as the portions are nice and also we were all planning to shop a bit more and didn't want to carry the itis with us. Overall, it was a beautiful experience I can't wait to try again.

Yelp
We had a reservation for 14 people. When are group arrived we were sat at 2 different tables. When we asked if the tables could be moved together we were told they didn't have space. I feel like if the tables were not together this is something that should have been stated at the time of the reservation obefore seating us. So we ended up with a reservation for 6 and 8. Not ideal. The music was a little loud for my taste but we could still have a conversation so it was acceptable. I was a little annoyed our waiter decided to rap along with the song while I was trying to put in my order. Had some issues with getting our food, ordered things that were forgotten. Our 2nd table didn't get their food til 20 minutes after our table did. Guess this was fine since we weren't seated together. Our meals came out and everything was prepared well and tasted pretty good. Ordered dessert, yeah they forgot all of the dessert orders so we canceled those. Would have like to have tried them too. Overall, not a great experience for our group. With the mishaps of the night. I would like to give this place another chance with a smaller group to see if the service improves and try more of the food.

Lorenzo D.

Yelp
The food was amazing! The chefs and the kitchen staff were phenomenal. The place was packed, there was a large celebration(about 40 people) and several parties of 4 or more as well as our table of 9. The food all came in a timely manner and in courses. The food was tasty and hot everyone at our table loved everything.

Bernie L.

Yelp
Visited for the first time and loved the atmosphere. This place invites one to relax and enjoy the ambiance. The soft lighting and easy music make it easy to forget the day. The service is friendly and attentive. The drinks were refreshing and the food was delicious. I had the chicken and pasta and it was seasoned well and the chicken was tender. I enjoyed every bite. My friend had the catfish and shrimp. The catfish had a nice crunch to it and was very good. The shrimp was also tasty. We had a very pleasant experience and will definitely return to try the brunch.

Erica W.

Yelp
I stopped here while visiting the city from Houston. I sat at the bar and the bartenders were amazing! The decor also made the vibes even better!! The food was so good I wish I would've stopped to bring some back home with me. I highly recommend the pasta and the cornbread. This place is a 10/10 down to the music and other people sitting around me.

Heather K.

Yelp
My coworker suggested this place for a work dinner and it was on point. The food is so flavorful and well seasoned. The portions were big enough to share, which we did. The gumbo is delicious and the ox tails were falloff the bone. Our server Jaylen (sorry if misspelled) was attentive and friendly. He gave great suggestions and made sure my drink was just right, with only a little peach syrup. The chef even came to visit our table. I 100% recommended going. Don't sleep on this place. Next time and every time I am in San Antonio I'll visit.

Yelp
I love that this is a cool new spot in a prime location. Parking is easy to find so it reduces the burden, stress & hefty parking fees that's typical for this area. Once inside, it's super cute. The bar has plenty of seating & I like the big cozy seating areas near the windows. The vibe is always cool. I've been here several times from the grand opening to Soulful Sunday's. Service is always quick & friendly. One thing I've noticed with each visit is that the food is just average. I guess I was expecting a wow factor or at least I was hoping for one. I usually never send food back but on my last visit, I had to send the dirty rice back. I'm not sure what happened with the prep that day but the rice was super chewy/gummy as if it sat out all day with an attempt to microwave/reheat for my serving. I'm hoping in the near future for some menu changes/flavor changes. Esp for Soulful Sunday's to match all that great music & singing. My friends & I will def be back to support as we've supported the owners in the past but, I'll eat before I come.

Tylar M.

Yelp
The food was simply amazing. The flavor literally burst out of the food. We sat at the bar and just vibed to the music, which was great. The service was amazing and Monica was quick to fix our small problem. Anthony D made some of the tastiest drinks and was so personable. The happy hour had some nice items on it. Also, huge plus that is it black owned! We will definitely be back.

Lillie M.

Yelp
Alaina was sooo amazing. I was undecided about what to drink and she freestyled a great drink 10/10 would recommend her as your bartender.man made our experience so good!!

Angela I.

Yelp
We sat at the bar because we didn't have reservations. The service at the bar was amazing! I ordered their version of an old fashioned and it was delicious! So good I ordered it twice!! We start with collard green dip and it was way too salty! Inedible salty! The entree, oxtail over dirty rice was delicious! It's southern style oxtails and the portion size was inconsistent between our two plates but I was fine with it. The cornbread was moist and delicious, paired well with our entree. We ended with peach cobbler that was too sweet with not a whole lot of other flavor. They were out of the sweet potato soufflé so we couldn't try that. We loved the music and the vibe, however there are still some cosmetic kinks to work out. I'd definitely return to try some other menu items.

Naomi C.

Yelp
I have made numerous visits to Tryst Kitchen. The food is impeccable... the ox tail delicious. I love the drinks "Pillow Talk" and " Hot Girl Summer" my go to drinks. The sweet potato brûlée is flippin amazing all the different flavor with texture, my goodness. The Salmon is flaky and flavorful. The Pasta is another amazing dish with the right combination of flavors and not thick just right. The Greens Dip-damn!!! The music takes you back and makes you dance in your chair. It is a bit hot in the restaurant something Bruce owner came to apologize for before hand. If you are hungry I don't suggest to sit at bar some woman bartender will not serve you well very forgetful but always improvement and she cannot make drinks-eek. Other than that please visit!!!

Jermaine Y.

Yelp
I love this atmosphere and the food here at Tryst! I came for lunch and they just introduced a new lunch menu. I also had the grape soda cider as a drink and it was LEGIT!!! The service was fast and both our food came out excellent. Lastly the owner came out and talked with us. Real down to earth veteran who is looking forward to giving back and sharing his food with the community. I will def be back!!! Oh, ask for Ashely, that was my waiter. Also.. LEGIT!!!!!!

Whitley G.

Yelp
I saw that this was a new spot in downtown San Antonio. I'm big on if they'll have good parking (they have a free parking garage next door so that's a plus for me) a good vibe, good food, customer service and great music. The crowd of people were very chill, grown and sophisticated. Not standing on couches and twerking (even though I'm not against twerking) but the state of Texas is saturated with places like that so it was good to just experience a chill vibe for once. I saw this place pop up on my instagram algorithm and wanted to take my friend out for her birthday. She's into content and trying new places so it was a perfect spot! The owner Bruce was so accommodating and truly showed us southern hospitality. Our waiter, Joseph, did an impeccable job at catering to us and even was thorough in explaining the menu. Arianne at the front greeted us with a big smile and did an amazing job welcoming us in and even put us in a great spot for our seats. The staff were on point. I would definitely come back. If i had to say one small critique, is just the dip and salmon might have been just a little salty. But overall the food was amazing! Please support this business and keep it running for years to come. The city needs it!

Jessica H.

Yelp
This new restaurant is a perfect mix between southern cuisine and great r&b and hip hop vibes. The drinks were delicious and strong, the collard green dip was to die for and my blackened salmon was exquisite. There is bar, table and lounge seating that really catered to large groups or small intimate gatherings. My waiter was so sweet and never let my drink get low without coming back to check on me. I will definitely be coming back here.

Janis C.

Yelp
Celebrated my birthday with a Sunday brunch at Tryst. I couldn't have picked a better spot! The food and drink were absolutely delicious. I had the oxtails and grits which were tender and full of flavor. I had the banana fosters cheesecake for desert and it was by far one of the best I have ever had. To top it off the VIBE and service of this place was off the charts! Highly recommend this place to check out. It's also nice that a garage is located right next to it for easy parking. Can't wait to go back:)

Yelp
After hearing great things about Tryst, I decided to give it a go. My GPS took me to the CVS side of the restaurant but the entrance is actually off Broadway on Josephine St. There is a parking lot off of Josephine that is very convenient. Once I got my bearings and went inside, I was pleasantly surprised by the elegant interior. The music playing created a vibe without being overpowering. There were several seating zones inside. Traditional tables near a DJ booth, seating at and near the bar, and lounge seating near the large windows facing Broadway. My friend and I spent time soaking in the buzzy atmosphere. Then ordered cocktails, an appetizer and entrees from our very friendly and attentive server, Gracie. The catfish was light and crispy, very flavorful. My friends oxtail portion was generous , rich and flavorful. I liked that they have a relatively small menu. I'd rather see a restaurant focus on doing a great job on select items. I look forward to seeing how their menu will evolve. I'd love to see collard greens or green beans added to the mix. I look forward to my next visit.

Terri N.

Yelp
I went to Tryst on a whim while riding around with neighbors on a late Saturday afternoon. This place is everything you've been looking for! Upon entrance, the greeter and greeting area were both so beautiful that I was instantly intrigued to see what the rest of the place was about. We initially decided to sit in the outdoor seating area. I loved the high tables! The ceiling fans in the outdoor area created more of an outdoor breeze atmosphere but we changed our mind and ended up sitting indoors. We were all so astonished by the unique design and vibe that it took us a while to focus on the menus. We had some really beautiful cocktails that tasted amazing. We weren't too hungry so we only had appetizers which were unbelievably delicious! I was soothingly pleased with the type of crowd at Tryst which was an adult professional feel. Everyone seemed to be enjoying the open atmosphere, food, and music. The other patrons were super friendly and engaging. If you're looking for a new vibe near the downtown area, check out Tryst. The food was amazing, our waiter, Jeff?, was attentive, the drinks were tasty, and the owner, Bruce, made sure that we were enjoying ourselves.

Yelp
YES. YES. And YES. I haven't really stumbled upon too many black-owned businesses in San Antonio, but when I do, I'm always going to try and support, which I'm glad I did. We checked this place out back in August and at that time they'd only been open for a few weeks, so the menu offerings weren't that vast as the chefs were working on mastering those few items first before expanding. When I tell you EVERYTHING was a "slap ya momma" moment, I really mean it. The food was well seasoned, juicy, sweet, and crunchy. Or as the young kids would say "It gave what it was supposed to have gave." To top it off, the customer service was top tier AND the music playlist was filled with nothing but R&B hits. This is certainly a place that I'll be revisiting again and definitely a place that should be visited if you have friends or family in town.

Erica F.

Yelp
Came for brunch and the staff was great! Ambiance is very cool and food was 10/10. Great for brunch or girls night out. Great music vibe too. Will definitely be back.

Cedric F.

Yelp
Outstanding experience! Great food, service and cocktails. Easy, underground parking. Cultured perfectly for the area.

Yelp
Tryst is a new Restaurant in San Antonio. I visited on their soft opening. I enjoyed it so much I found myself back a few days later. The menu is not very large, but they have a great selection of southern food. The crabcakes were not too bad. But my favorite was the southern fried catfish platter. It came with shrimp, potato balls, and shoestring fries. The shoestring fries were my least favorite, not because of the size, but the flavor was not very good. My friends got the burger and the gumbo and they both said it was pretty good. Drinks were pretty good as well. One of the drinks I got was supposed to have rosé, but they let me sub it for vodka. Service was very good. They were very attentive and super nice. Both times I was there. They had a live DJ and he was doing very good, especially towards the end of the night. The place is very nice. Definitely recommended for date night or just a great place to grab lunch. I don't live in San Antonio but I definitely will visit again when I'm in town.

Nunu E.

Yelp
Great ambiance, the cocktails are not the strongest or exceptional. However they make up for it with their food selection. The pasta and oxtail dishes are great!

Benjamin N.

Yelp
Four days open and they're already killing it. Clearly, this is a team of folks who know the food business and deliver beautifully. The opening menu is carefully calculated to show off what the kitchen does best... And do they ever. Superb crab cakes that are mostly meat and little filler, a light and flavorful dirty rice, a perfectly cooked blackened salmon and a creamy cajun pasta made for a surprisingly solid first meal at this new eatery. Eager, professional servers made the meal fantastic. The bar is solid, pouring delicious, strong beverages. Great to see this new concept in a space that's suffered a lot of subpar experiences. Looking forward to going back soon, especially to see what they do for brunch.

Charles G.

Yelp
Good food & great vibes - glad to have this option on Broadway in Midtown SA. Since I live in the neighborhood, I'll be coming back with friends & family to try more items on the menu.

Gyu S.

Yelp
amazing happy hour deals. a bunch of meals are half off and dang is it a steal! interior is a cozy speak-easy vibe and bathroom is very clean. the potato balls, shrimp, and drinks were S tier. also tried the happy hour dumplings and bbq chicken flatbread but they weren't really to my taste. workers were very helpful and attentive!

K S.

Yelp
First time in SA and the food was amazing. Good service and music as well. If you're in town definitely check them out! 10/10!

Shawn W.

Yelp
Nice aesthetic on the inside but was very disappointed to learn the advertisement they were promoting was false. Advertising brunch vibes & a dj for Friday & Saturday just to find out it's really on Saturday & Sunday instead. Ordered the catfish & fries. Catfish was hard, couldn't cut it with a fork. Fries were okay. Mediocre food with super high prices. I doubt I'll be back to try the actual brunch.

Gil T.

Yelp
The vibe was good not sure if it's an every Friday thing or because they were hosting ISSB. The catfish was great salmon was ok. Colossal shrimp was slightly overcooked. Topped off the meal with the peach cobbler which was good. Drinks were on point. If you like Hennessy I recommend the Sure Thing. Now the unfortunate part after all of that, the service was shit. Even when we left no one said peace. Have a good night fuck you or anything. The food was just dropped at the table and no one asked if we needed any condiments or anything else. I'm big on service since it's my job.

Micah H.

Yelp
I would love to tell you about the food, but I never got to taste it. We were a party of three and 1/3 of us actually got our food within the 2 hours that we were seated at our table. Our waitress was great and assisted us with our troubles. HOWEVER, the manager refused to speak with us about our long wait for the food. Not to mention that on at least three different times, other waiters attempted to bring us another customer's food. Safe to say we will NOT be back. There was too much going on. At one point the restaurant ran out of silverware. They are not prepared to be a successful restaurant in this area. If you are looking for a clubbing environment with terrible management then this is the place for you.

Yelp
I tried this place on my birthday and I am blown away. The ambiance is one of the flyest things I've ever seen. Luckily it's not all flash because the food is just as good. That catfish was perfection. The service was amazing as well. I can't wait to come back

Yelp
The gumbo was great! I'm sorry I didn't take a picture of it. What they call a cup is actually a pretty large bowl that was the perfect size for lunch! I added shrimp to it for an additional charge. The only problem is they kept the tails attached to the shrimp, which meant I had to get a little messy with my hands so I could eat the gumbo. Anthony was my server. He was friendly and very attentive. Great atmosphere!! I'll be back!

Yelp
Stopped by Tryst on a Friday night. We opted to sit at the bar and sat right away. We started off with drinks. I ordered the signature cocktail All-nighter. For food my partner order the angus burger. The angus burger was served with house made fries. I order the blackened salmon and we shared an order of the Mac and cheese. The blackened salmon was served on a sweet potato puree. The food was very good and flavorful. We really enjoyed the atmosphere from the music, to the music, to the staff. It was definitely a vibe and we will be back.

Yelp
Food, drinks, service, and ambiance were amazing. We came early afternoon on a Wednesday, easy parking, small crowd. Chef Nequila even came to the table to chat with us. Overall, amazing experience! Our server, Kylie was amazing as well! Support this new business, it's great! Highly recommend!

Yelp
This is the worst excuse for a restaurant that I have eaten in. We were a party of 5 and every item we chose were terrible. To add insult to injury the menu prices were all extremely expensive. I ordered the all meat omellette that taste like poured a half of container of Morton salt. I then ordered a catfish Filet along with grits. The grits were $7 dollars for 5 teaspoons of grits. The catfish was totally raw inside of the fried Filet My sister ordered the $10.00 gumbo that was only chicken and sausage . The dinner gumbo came a hilarious price of '24.00 per bowl without seafood just chicken. The gumbo was mediocre at best. The oxtails wth biscuit and gravy had the other half of the Morton salt container. Their was probably about two ounces of oxtail on the dish and it was awful as well. The awlful quality of the food does not justify the highway robber prices they charge. The only pro was the service. I would blowup the menu and start from square one. People don't mind paying quality not the sh**t we were serve. As a New Orleans if I pay $24 Fir gumbo I expect lobster and crabs.

Yelp
This place popped up on my Instagram, so we decided to go. Parking: The parking perse is technically free because the garage next door is opened, but it's for the tenants of Mosaic. By parking there, you nay run the risk of being ticketed or towed. Atmosphere/staff: The ambiance of this place is definitely a vibe. Upon entering, there wasn't anyone to seat us. As we waited for a greeter of some type, we observed the bartender eating what seemed to be his lunch and some of the waitstaff having drinks at the bar. Seating: The seating area was too close for comfort, and I can see this being an issue when crowded or busy. Food: The selection is not big, but the food was very delicious with the exception of the catfish, which was overcooked. Drinks: we ordered a few drinks, which were also delicious with the exception of the Filthy Rich, which had more ice than beverages. It was as if I ordered a cup of ice instead. Desserts: I wouldn't know because they did not have either dessert options available. Pricing: I didn't mind price, but I did mind that the tip (20%) was included in our bill. To me, any party under 6 people should not have automatic gratuity. To add that there is an additional line on the bill to add an additional tip. Overall: I found this aesthetically pleasing. We all have different experiences depending on the time and day, but this was mine on an early Thursday. Please go and give it a try
