Lukewarm milk tea at best, I didn’t think it would be easy to mess up a milk tea flavor but it happened. Did not taste like strawberry at all and peach popping boba didn’t taste like peach at all and had a weird texture.

I love this place. Their drinks are even better than mr. Wish and other asian stores like this!

This is the worst and disgusting Boba tea place. The drinks are awful. Spoke to the staff about getting another drink or a refund to be honest. I don’t even care about that but it was disgusting.

I went to this place midnight. This was the only spot open at this time yet it looked somewhat appealing. When i put the drink in my mouth, i felt like 2 black cucks choked on me. This was the worst boba I ever had.

Believe the reviews it does taste like the inside of a shampoo bottle. And the sushi was terrible except the shrimp one it was good

Went in late tonight to get boba with a friend , mine was taro and tasted fine , theirs however , the strawberry, tasted like licking the inside of a shampoo container , it was truly repugnant and inedible . I kindly asked the woman working the counter if she could exchange her tea for the same flavor I got. She said they “don’t do that”. We then watched her pour our $8 boba down the drain and refuse to give us another one without buying it. The weirdest part was she just turned around and pretended to be working , ignoring us until we left when I tried to ask for an explanation .Incredibly rude and unprofessional behavior. This wasn’t a case of not liking the flavor or not knowing what we ordered they had served us something someone stranded in the desert dying of dehydration would’ve turned their nose up at . 1/10

I placed an order at their walk in kiosk for 3 tea drinks and added the note "no bag no straws no cutlery" to the order as I am sick of the excessive plastic and did not need those items anyway. When I received the order the worker started packing it in a bag, which was OK in the end because they couldn't/wouldn't provide the cardboard carry tray they used to provide. Came home and found that there were also 3 straws somehow hidden in the bag. Next time I will supervise the packing of my order since you cannot follow clear written instructions. Also be aware their cups and lids are #5 PP plastic which is reusable and dishwasher safe and good for hot drinks. I reuse mine for all sorts of things, so that's good. The store should actually have a program where you can drop off your used cups & lids and they clean them and reuse them - would cut down a lot on their waste and packaging costs.

Stumbled upon this place and the tea here is great! I would recommend the super fruit green tea here, it’s a great refresher on a hot day.

Got 3 drinks and they all tasted bad.. the only thing I didn't mind was ordering and paying at the kiosk.

April 19th-21st Buy One Get One Free here. I did not partake because I went alone. I got the double purple milk tea because it sounded ambitious and it was. It was ok. I guess I didn't know I was signing up for just straight up chunky mashed taro in my drink but thats what happened. Anyway the place was clean and honestly beautifully decorated, it seems very instagrammable tbh. There was a homeless man sleeping outside though but what's new in town. The bubbles are decent for a place outside chinatown. I'll give the place another chance another day, maybe go with a simpler fruit tea instead of getting ambitious like I did. Will be checking out the tea tomorrow but I like the location and it seems pretty clean from the outside.

Decent boba place! Nothing to write home about, but also nothing bad about it either. I got the grapefruit tea which was surprisingly a slushy and probably the wrong thing to order in the middle of winter LOL. But nevertheless, it tasted fresh and not too sweet and would be perfect in the summer. My only complaint is although it was not that busy at the time, it did take awhile to get my order.

I guess I'm used to being spoiled by so many boba shops on the west coast, but usually when you don't like a drink they will offer to adjust it for you free if charge. First of all... the white peach oolong looks nothing like it does in the picture advertised. Second of all, what kind of boba shop runs out of boba at 5pm on a Saturday? It's been twice now that I've been here and they've run out of boba. Whaaaaat.... :( Sad. Anyways, the white peach oolong tasted nothing like I was expecting it to taste like. I felt deceived by the photo lol. I also tried the caramel brown sugar milk tea, and the caramel was super stuck to the sides of the cup LOL you can barely taste it in your drink. Ya, idk. They can do a lot better, but this ain't it sis

Disappointing boba tea joint hidden within a Ten Asian Food Hall. Unfortunately, I don't have anything to encouraging to say about this place. Firstly, the ordering kiosk was lacking key details. I wanted a milk tea, but was unsure of what to get considering there were no descriptions for the drinks and limited options; only inane names like Ruby or King milk tea. I decided to bite the bullet and order the Ruby since I was desperate for something. I added a cream cheese foam cap to it -- another mistake. My total came to about $6. Already bugged about the fact that I had no idea what I ordered, my agitation only increased when I was sitting there for twenty minutes waiting for my drink, when it said it would only take ten minutes. Mind you this was not during a rush hour at all, and there were two people working in the front prep area (with others in the back kitchen) moving miserably slow. I went to the table to inquire about my order, and proceeded to watch them make it as soon as I said something. When I received the drink, I was shocked at the sizing. My "medium" was in one would aptly call a small cup. Pretty pissed off at this point, I was hoping there'd be redemption in the drink itself. Nope. Absolutely not. It was extremely bland. At this point, I wanted to throw the whole thing out, but I'd be damned if I didn't drink every dollars worth of liquid in my overpriced kiddy cup. So if it wasn't clear by now, I do not recommend this place and definitely won't be going back; no matter h .

It's about time a bubble tea place opened up in this area! This place is good to grab and go, or they have a cute seating area both upstairs and downstairs. The workers are friendly when you walk in and very patient. They have a wide variety of bubble teas so they're willing to answer any questions you have. I noticed they also had some drinks and fruits you could buy. I've tried the black tea with brown sugar and the fruit tea and both are delicious! These drinks are HUGE and fill you up, so it's a good bang for your buck! The prep area is pretty small, so if you come at a crowded time, expect a bit of a wait. But like I said, there's great seating. I could definitely see myself coming here often!

Bubble tea's official entrance into the Rittenhouse area has been a long time coming, and I am HERE for it! Tsaocaa is located in the brand new Asian Food Hall at 17th and Chestnut Streets. The interior of the new food hall is modern, clean, tasteful, and "Instagram pretty." You have the option of ordering poke, ramen, or bubble tea. There is ample seating on the first floor, and there is additional seating on the second floor. There is currently one Tsaocaa located at 9th and Race Sts. in Chinatown. I ordered the cheese mango drink one time, and well, that was regrettable in my humble opinion. This time, I ordered the colorful fruit green tea and added Nata (lychee) jelly. You only get the option of one size (700 ML), and it comes in a tall and slim cup. They didn't give me any ice, but I won't complain about tea being filled to the brim. The service is quick, and you're in and out of there in minutes. The tea is thankfully not too sweet, and the drink is filled with fresh oranges, strawberries, mango, grapes, and passion fruit seeds. So, here's the thing. I'm honestly not a fan of passion fruit ANYTHING. Unfortunately, the passion fruit flavor really overpowers the tea and any other flavor added to the beverage. Needless to say, I will not be ordering this beverage again However, if you're a passion fruit fan, this refreshing and fruity beverage is calling your name. I will be back another day to try other flavors. Overall, I'm ecstatic that there is finally an bubble tea option in Rittenhouse! Keep em' comin'!

I've come here a few times when I was in the area and was craving for some bubble tea. The peach green tea with lychee is so good! My friend got the milk tea and it pretty good as well. You can also request how much sugar you want, from 25% all the way 135%. I asked for the regular amount and it hit the spot for me! If you're in the area, you should hit this bubble tea spot!

I got the brown sugar milk tea. It was alright- nothing stood out at all though. Flavor was a bit watered down, the bubbles were slightly undercooked and hard and did not have any flavor to them and were just starchy. Overall, not many other options nearby for boba unless you go to Chinatown which is a bit far, but it Tsaôcaa will do the trick if you're desperate for boba.

Stumbled upon this place after getting dinner. They serve food and Taiwanese tea here! Got the colorful fruit green tea and it was super delicious. I requested 50% sweetness so it was light tasting yet flavorful. Recommend stopping by here on a hot or cold day for some good tea!

There's been a huge rise of bubble tea places and I'm definitely not complaining. I enjoy trying new places and finding new exciting flavors. This place has some similarities to others I've been but also has some new concept ones as well. Came here one day with my kids and wife. She had her favorite of milk tea with Oreo foam. She ordered hers without sugar and I thought it was good, but for me, I would get it normal. My kids went for some fruity drinks (one was a grapefruit and I forget the other). The grapefruit was delicious. It came with a slice of grapefruit inside to make it look nice. This is something I haven't really seen at many other places before. Location is nice for people that live or work in center city, but the traffic around here is horrendous. This is my kids favorite place because of the cup, so most likely, I will be back (or have my wife grab some stuff for them before heading home from work)

I can't believe it took me getting sidelined with a foot injury to discover this place on GrubHub!!! I've worked in close proximity to this for so long and never knew I was walking right past a flavor gold mine!! So, I had a procedure done to my foot which left me home bound and I had such a craving for bubble tea that I ordered three teas to ensure I would meet the minimum. (I shared with my husband at least ‍) Anyway, I got a rose milk tea, caramel tea, and a matcha. They were all delicious but the Matcha was the standout!! So delightful and rich and the perfect pick me up!!

I can't imagine when a cashier give u a attitude toward potential customer. When placing order in phone call legit give u a attitude and try's to make u look stupid about "do u know our address?" Like are u serious? When I wanted to place a order and if u don't have a order it's fine not like ima force y'all to make something y'all don't have and can't even be clear with the item,

This was great bubble tea. We got the colorful fruit green tea with mango boba and it was delicious. Finally a nice bubble tea place in center city! The worker recommended the green tea over the black and it was well worth it. An array of fruit in the tea.. would for sure come back here again!

Really yummy but sometimes we have to wait for boba to be ready :( Favorites are watermelon bubble tea and all the fresh teas. The cup is also unique and aesthetic! Will be hanging out here more often

Wait time is horrible, you'll wait 1 hour just for bubble tea. Only 1 lady works while all the men stand around. Smh.

FYI their Uji matcha with cheese foam is also very good, though on the small (or European, if you prefer) side.

Love their milk teas!!! This is now my favorite milk tea chain in Philly. So glad I can satisfy my milk tea craving in center city. About time.

The place seems pretty nice but the drinks are horrible especially the milk teas they add to much milk to the point you don't even taste the tea anymore making it difficult to enjoy and like. The looks of the tea are pretty and cute but despite their looks the taste is not the best and could use massive improvement
